18 Restaurants Worth a Drive Out of Nashville | Eater Nashville
"Breakfast all day and comfort food are the name of the game at the downhome Bon Aqua restaurant. Nothing on the menu is above $11 (including steaks) so a road trip here won’t break the bank. Popular picks here include the catfish, the biscuits, and the hush puppies." - Delia Jo Ramsey
First time to stop here, it definitely will not be my last! Homemade biscuits, hash browns perfect, gravy was amazing, sausage was perfect. Wait staff was amazing and had great attitudes, place was very clean. I would recommend you to stop here.

lived there for 23 years. Eaten there at least 3 times a week. Got the same thing for supper on Friday night. Fried Catfish, curly fries, and sour cream. best in the county.

As soon as we walked in, the waitresses made us feel welcome and at home. They were kind, had a great sense of humor and efficient. Great combo. The food was excellent. Dinner like mom used to make. I recommend it very much. Happy campers all the way from LA county.

We we're served very fast, and everything was delicious. I ordered a BIG piece of Heath bar cake (my absolute favorite that they make) and was given enough for 2. 2 of us were dinning plus the cake, even a very nice tip $20 ( including the cake don't forget)

Yelp
Hubs: Disappointing for the bbq ribs which didn't taste freshly cooked. Good coleslaw and mac and cheese was okay
Mine: while I was expecting a larger serving of the grilled chicken salad, the portion was just right with a side of green beans that were delicious! (Note to manager: toss the chipped dishes and plastic glasses)
The great ratings has to be the results of the friendly staff and locals dining there.

Yelp
What a nice surprise this place was. I live close by but I had never tried before. It makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. A time when things were not so complicated. Great price s/and great food and service. You will remember this place in a good way.

Yelp
Small little restaurant in Lyles TN. The food is very average, but the staff is great. Prices are reasonable, but do not order any thing with ham... very pricy. They are always quick with the coffee and my cup has never hit the bottom. This is exactly what they say they are.... A country kitchen.
