I came to this place today for breakfast with my husband and I was delighted. The food was delicious! They have a very varied menu and the service is wonderful. They also have several places where you can eat. I preferred the terrace, which is super nice, and you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere. Finally, they have a back door where you can bring your pet (I love this because I love pets). I recommend this place; it's super good.

Cozy atmosphere, great service! Hash browns were one of the best - very crispy. Toasts done perfectly with light butter on top. Omellette was hearthy with a lot of veggies with bacon in it. Crepes were ok, felt it could be thinner. It was a good meal before we start our road trip. Would recommend if you're in the area.

We visited Country Touch Café in Atascadero, CA for breakfast, and while the service was truly excellent, the food unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and kindly seated us at the table we wanted. Our server, Madai, was outstanding—very courteous, friendly, and attentive. She went out of her way to accommodate everything we asked for, always with a positive attitude. However, the food itself was disappointing. We ordered the Country Touch Omelette, which lacked seasoning and flavor. The eggs were on the harder side rather than soft and fluffy. We also had chilaquiles and the homemade bread, but those dishes were not particularly tasty either. We left feeling unsatisfied with the meal. On the positive side, the café has a cozy atmosphere and plenty of parking. Overall, excellent service and friendly staff, but the food quality needs improvement.

Really great food and incredibly prompt service. Staff was friendly and the eggs Benedict options were all excellent. The crab cake Benedict and the California Benedict were both very good. They put a lot of hollandaise sauce on them, so you may want to ask for the space on the side. My wife had the avocado toast with egg added and it was really good. The bloody Mary was decent but thankfully they provide hot sauce at the table so you can spice it up. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, and they have gluten free pancakes and waffles as an option.

Nice quaint breakfast and brunch place. We stopped here on our way to SF and loved the food and service. Most folks dining here were locals. I had chilaquiles and it was the best I have had at a dinner!

This is a comfortable Country Restaurant done right off the main street in town. It's good it may not be the most amazing restaurant you've ever been to in your entire life but they're doing a great job there and their food is pretty good. I haven't eaten there several times so I can't share every item on the menu but the stuff that we have gotten the few times we have been has been good perfect for kids lots of Booth seating as well as large tables in the back great for birthdays great for parties great for all of that.

Every time we come to Paso Robles we go to Country Touch Cafe for their Verde Omlette with warm home made apple sauce and raisin toast. The raisin toast is thick and so good. It's made by members of the staff daily. The staff is super friendly and the rest rooms are clean.

I had the Patty melt and it was over done but the fries were good. My wife had the shrimp omelette with bacon and it was okay but the potatoes were not done and the biscuit was dry. The waitress was rude plus she was standing around chewing on her necklace and picking at her chin. Gross!!!!

I spent the weekend in Atascadero and wanted to get on the road early Sunday morning to go home. I googled restaurants nearby, open at 6am. Country Touch Cafe came up. It seemed the most convenient, so I went. Ample parking and surprisingly, there were at least 10 people there already. I ordered my go to, an omelette. Then my server, Marina, asked me what kind of toast I wanted. When she said raisin, I thought it sounded great. The homemade raisin toast was so delicious! Who gets excited about toast? I did! The omelette was fluffy and had bacon, avocados and other stuff inside. Very yummy. I'm not sure what this white creamy stuff is on top. It didn't taste bad, but I could have done without it. 10/10, highly recommend.

Cute place, with about 10 people waiting out in front. However, only 20 min. Wait. I had ham n eggs. Ham was lean and delicious. Hash brown was perfectly crisp. Homemade wheat bread was good. Over medium eggs were under cooked---runny whites. Hubby had pork chop n eggs. He enjoyed it all except the pork chop. He said it was tasteless. Service was good, but it was very busy. I would give them 31/2 stars.

Great breakfast! Fast and kind service and good food. Enjoy a good weekend breakfast here, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on our way up the coast.  We ordered corned beef hash to share, and I ordered scrambled eggs.  My husband orders corned beef hash for breakfast quite often.  He did not like their version of corned beef hash at all.  It was very mushy.  They do have homemade salsa which I put on my scrambled eggs, and it was delicious.  Perhaps we just ordered the wrong item.

Country Touch Cafe Review Country Touch Cafe is a delightful spot for breakfast/brunch in atascadero offering hearty portions and satisfying flavors. We tried a veggie omelette, which was decent but didn't quite shine compared to the other dishes. My husband ordered the chilaquiles, and they were absolutely excellent--bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. We also got the blueberry pancakes, which were rich and filling but incredibly delicious. Each dish came with a generous side of fries or potatoes, making for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The coffee was also pretty delicious. The decor was quirky and the service was quick. All the servers were very helpful.. The portions are great, and the overall experience was very enjoyable.

A wide variety of dishes makes this ideal for any group or individual's appetite. Service is always prompt and courteous. A locals favorite that consistently brings a smile to their customers' faces. If you are in Atascadero...give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I got the country touch omelet and my friend got the huevos rancheros. Both you would think are hard to do in a way that would stand out from other restaurants. I'm here to say one of the best omelets I've had and my friend said the same about his food. Nice people as well!

Delicious and quick service! I really enjoyed how they had a gluten free option for the pancakes and sweet options. The interior was very clean and nicely decorated. Glad we stopped by.

We stopped by Country Touch and were blown away by how good everything was! The food tasted homemade and fresh, with that real country comfort you can't fake. The service was friendly, quick, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend trying the homemade whole wheat toast--it was honestly some of the best we've ever had! You can tell they care about what they serve. We'll definitely be back again soon!

What a great little find in downtown. I had the BBQ burger which had an onion ring and perfect carnitas on top of the burger patty. My wife had the club sandwich and asked for it on a croissant which was $1 more. Both were excellent choices for lunch. Service was quick and nice. Lots of parking in the back

Came here for breakfast before wine tasting. We were able to get seated immediately. It wasn't too packed but got packed as we ate so it seems very popular. The inside it cute and full of decor like you would see at hobby lobby. Our friends both got chilaquiles, I got the California Benedict, and my hubby got the chicken fried steak. My Benedict was good but my poached eggs were over cooked, the yolk is half the experience lol. But the waitress got my 2 new eggs, she offered a whip new plate but I said the eggs were fine which I think was nice to have the option. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak, it was just thin to what we are used to but had a good flavor. Overall everything was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm.

I've been coming here forever and I love their food, unfortunately I rarely come anymore because of how expensive things have gotten but its a nice treat for the family when we can.

First off, I would have given this restaurant 4 stars "if" my husband's and my Chili Verde Omelette had more chili verde. They put some on top but in the omelette it was cheese. The coffee was good, the fruit, home made wheat toast and service by Madai. If you pay cash, you receive a 2.99% discount. In the bathroom, they had a hook to hang your purse, love that. Nice place, clean and everyone including patrons are friendly.

I can't imagine how anyone could ever give anything other than 5 stars to this place unless they are trying to keep it their secret. Everything was EXTRAORDINARILY DELICIOUS! Reasonably priced, great service, comfortable space and the food was perfect perfection A+ delightfully delicious. My kids had the Nutella banana crepes and I had the classic Benedict. Their hollandaise sauce is the best Ive had. I'd eat it as a soup if it was offered My new favorite breakfast spot in town. Will be back soon

Not sure if I have reviewed this breakfast joint before BUT it's one of our go to places on Sundays. You will not be disappointed! All of the waitresses are great, but we Julie and Holly. Food is good, vibe is great! You should go check it out!

My falily and I have been a regular customers for over 25 years. Last weekend I had a memorable breakfast prepared by Raúl. I need to mention Roberto, as well, the person who knew how my fruit supposed to be prepared since I forgot to mentioned to the new server who attended my table. Raúl and Roberto Thank you for your professional and fast service. I strongly believe both of you are a solid asset to CT.

If you're from out of town you'll want to stop here for a small town Atascsdero experience. The restaurant is small inside but there are some outside tables. Usually they'll be a short wait on the weekends, for example we went on a Sunday around 11 and it took us about 15-20 min for a table and the same time for our food since the restaurant was full. They did mishear our order and didn't charge us nor add avocado on the burrito as we asked, and I asked for home fries not hash browns, but that's no worries. Don't get me wrong, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the chorizo omelet is my favorite, and funny enough I ordered the same a year ago. The omelet is greasy due to the chorizo but the crema and cotija cheese adds a nice creaminess. Come here and get a great breakfast

When I asked Siri where the closest place for avocado toast was, she gave me Country Touch Café in Atascadero and it did not disappoint. They had a four star rating and I know why the service the smiles and the delicious food was amazing. Julie was my server and her kind smile spoke volumes she even asked me for my name, which made my experience more personalized. The decor is country themed just like the name.

Awesome breakfast spot with a nice variety of options, good food, and quick service. We ordered the chorizo omelette and southern breakfast to share, with an added side of hashbrowns. The food came out quickly and the potions were nice and big. Food was fresh and flavorful, we really enjoyed both items we tried. The hashbrowns were extra crispy, which was one of the things that drew us in from the pictures. The vibe of the restaurant is very on brand with the name, it had quite the southern country feel with the decor and design, as well as some of the menu choices (I'm looking at you biscuits and gravy). Seemed like a lot of people there were regulars based on their interactions with the servers. We came here for breakfast on a weekday morning while staying near by. The place was pretty packed, but we were still able to get a seat immediately.

I was in the mood for gluten free pancakes as I had read that Country Touch Cafe served them. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with my breakfast and they were amazing! The blueberries were fresh and the pancakes were soft and delicious. I was so impressed that I will definitely come back. Thank you for having gluten free options!

Randomly came across this place looking for breakfast on the way home and what a sweet surprise! The staff were SO friendly, literally every single one of them. The place is immaculate and adorably decorated. The food was quick and delicious - my daughter and I shared the chilaquiles with some breakfast potatoes and my son had French toast. 10/10 would recommend.

Sunday, June 25,2025 @ 12:40 hrs. Arrived at this cafe that I have been yet. I'm going 24 over fifteen years. Today would be one of those days. Upon arrival the girl behind the cash register, said wait a minute which I did, but she never put my name down tomorrow on the waiting list. However, other people showed up after me and personally put their names on the waiting list. This is usually the responsibility of the person, behind the counter. That's monitoring the intake of patrons. It took approximately eighteen minutes to be seated at a table. When I placed my order, it was a very simple order. It had to do with 2 biscuits. We're sausage and gravy when I placed my order. However, I was told they were allegedly out of biscuits. My first instinct was to just pay for the coffee and leave, but I thought since i've been coming here for a year, a number of years.I would afford them the opportunity to order something else. I conveyed to the waitress that I wanted a denver almond with cheddar cheese and nothing more.It's plain and simple. Again, another long delay for something that could have been cooked up. And finally, ten minutes or less, which didn't happen. As I was trying to enjoy my denver omelett, the waitress sat down on the table, the check for the meal. The bill stated $13.00 USD for a denver omelette only. Needless to say, I did not finish my meal. I found it awfully unusual that a denver omelet would cost $13.00 USD. As I went to the counter to pay the bill, I was told when questioned about the bill that they would knock off two dollars off the bill, which would bring the price of the denver omelet down to $11.00 USD dollars. Totally outrageous, and price gouging, like, there's no tomorrow. The only thing they could say was it was their policy. Other than that no apologies whatsoever. I'll never go back to country kitchen cafe in atascadero, california, I was really shocked, and surprised that after all these numbers of years of coming to this cafe, that they would play this stupid ass stunt. Denver omelette plus the price of a cup of coffee just left country touch cafe in atascade arrow, california.

Cute breakfast place with diverse menu, lots of great offerings. But in our case, the problem was in the execution. We both ordered soft poached eggs, and they came out very hard. I ate mine without complaint (I was hungry), but my partner asked that her eggs be recooked. They were, but not after extended wait and thus the rest of our breakfast had been completed when they finally arrived. Also had to make two requests for syrup for waffle. Waitress was pleasant, but performance lacking as said above. Corned beef hash is excellent. They did adjust our bill without request. We'll be back to try again.

The food is excellent. Many great choices for breakfast. The staff is attentive and very personable. Have not had lunch there but have had breakfast 4 times, each a different meal. Waffle combo,French toast combo, eggs and bacon, all were delicious.

Food is yummy! Service is great! Homemade wheat bread and homemade applesauce is so delish! I like the patio for dining! Been going there for years! I recommend it!

You've heard this story from me before so I'll try to change it up a bit...I had to go to the A Town US post office for a client. Yes I live in MB but, well, anyways the Post Office opens at ten and I got in town about 9 thinking I'd try that try that Country Touch Cafe. I parked in back and walked into what looked like a converted house at some point. Plenty of seating on this Tuesday morning, I'd guess you'd wait on Saturday. Great covers it all menu for breakfast and dinner...hum lets see. The usual stuff with a twist, I like it so I ordered the Cowboy omelet filled with meats and topped with country gravy. I paid extra for fresh fruit to sub out the potatoes. I'm sure the potatoes would have been great with the tasty country gravy but. A side order of did not disappoint I'd say it was actually cooked this morning too, perfect not fatty looking but done enough so it wasn't crumbling as I at it, yes perfect. Coffee was hot in my bottomless mug and the service was prompt and courteous. Thank you Foodguy -Martin

I called ahead and placed my order over the phone. I was able to substitute bacon for sausage and applesauce for toast in my country skillet order without an up charge. I repeated my order because a few months back, these changes were requested but when I received my order, there was no bacon. This time, however, everything was spot on. - When I arrived at the restaurant, I paid in cash. Be sure to request your receipt. My meal was ready immediately. I did not have to wait. The parking lot has a bunch of free parking, but the handicap parking is still pretty far from the front door . It's best if you enter through the back door/patio if using disabled parking. - My one suggestion is to upgrade the bags you use for to-go orders so they are more environmentally friendly such as paper bags instead of plastic. I do appreciate the paper-based cardboard to-go containers! Thank you for encouraging environmentally friendly practices.

Great food, great service and a great ambiance. We were greeted with a smile ! not only the hostess got us our drink, but another waitress got our order and another hostess filled our drinks. Just a great experience.

This cute country cafe is adorable and service is Fantastic. We had a large party so we were able to order several dishes. The banana waffle was tasty, with fresh strawberries and ice cream. The supreme chili was a bit bland but I was able to add a few condiments to make it taste better. The kids orders were standard and good portion. The huevos rancheros were also bland not too much flavor, luckily they gave us extra salsa. The avocado toast with the country potatoes were very tasty. They have an outdoor patio and a covered patio available. Tip: if you are celebrating your bday you get a free dish.

Been going there for yea along with all the other regulars. If you own a restaurant you might learn a thing or two about how to run a successful business from them. Go and have breakfast and see for yourself Please!!!

This is literally THE BEST / MY FAVORITE breakfast spot in the entire county. Fantastic service, flexible menu without gouge charges, and excellent food!!! I always get the chorizo omelet, but I've seen what friends and family get and it's all just great. You can't go wrong here - PERIOD! If I could give a reward for smart ownership and management this place would get it. You can tell the owners really care about the restaurant business: customers first, kindness, great food, hospitality, clean and comfortable environment, great portions, and you simple substitutions don't come with insulting up charges. It's the restaurant business at its best. Just read some of my other reviews to see how difficult it is for me to say these things (I'm sorry to say)... I haven't had lunch here yet but it's on my list of things to do. I LOVE COUNTRY TOUCH! Please don't change :)

Got the bacon breakfast burrito and it was pretty good - the bacon was absolutely delicious, but could have used a bit more bacon and less potatoes (it was pretty potato heavy - but don't let that discourage you. I'd probably ask for extra bacon next time). We also got the veggie omelet and it wasn't bad but they put all the veggies on top instead of inside the omelet which was odd. I would also ask for the veggies inside the omelet. The fruit was very good and fresh. This place was extremely busy and looks like a pretty popular spot. Would eat here again and try some other items in the menu. Overall, pretty good food.

Sunday morning breakfast was great! Service was fast and friendly, food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I was offered a wide array of condiments to go with my breakfast. I would highly recommend this place

This is such a cool little breakfast spot in A-Town. The service from Michael was wonderful and our coffee cups were always full! I always go with the country fried steak every time a try a new breakfast joint. I love how the gravy was under the steak, it kept the meat hot. I loved the hash brown and gravy. The batter was great but the beef needed to be seasoned. Portion size was huge and was well worth it for the price. I would definitely come eat here again and try something else on the menu. Overall we enjoyed our meals and the attentive service.

Do not come here if you are disabled! I have a certified service animal, that "YES" performs an actual service and my dad is in a walker. I was here visiting my parents from Vegas and we decided to try a new restaurant. That was the biggest mistake we made. We only came here as it was recommended by others. None of the recommendations came from anyone who was disabled. My dad is also in a walker and struggles with walking. There is no adequate parking and he can't sit outside because of the cold which was the only place they would seat us because of "Her"! (Vanellope my service dog) I'm only assuming she was the manager or owner but she stated this loud enough for everyone to hear. I even told her she was a service dog and she cut me off and said she was still not allowed inside and told me to leave her outside. Question do you do this with babies in a stroller? Another patron offered their seat to us and she again stated we were not allowed to be seated inside because of, "Her"! We ended up leaving and going across the way to the Cowgirl Cafe who was more than accepting and accommodating to our needs. We will not be coming back here but we will to Cowgirl Cafe! This establishment has a lack of empathy to those who are disabled and they refuse to comply with ADA laws! They are not compassionate to those who require assistance from walkers or wheelchairs and those who need assistance from a service animal.

I came here for the 1st time today after living here for years, since my go-to "dog friendly" cafe was closed for remodeling. I brought my daughter and our two large, friendly, stupid dogs. They were very accommodating to the dogs, seating us in an enclosed, heated patio on this chilly day, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was... edible, not great. My daughter ordered the Nutella crepe which was ok (and very pretty!) but took ages to prepare. I ordered the corned beef hash which was mushy and bland, and a biscuit which was dry and dense. The eggs over medium were good, and cooked perfectly, and my daughters sausage patties were also good. All in all, it was a perfectly pleasant experience even though the food was only moderate. We will be back!

let me first start with the LOVELY lady who greeted us at the door. It was an amazing experience from the moment my left foot passed the threshold. Our servers were very attentive, the place was very home-y and the atmosphere was very relaxing. My food came out quickly and absolutely NO complaints!! So very good! My only regret was not taking photos before I ate it to show yall how good this food looked! If you're in the area definitely check it out!! I will definitely be back again in the nearby future!

I was traveling from Santa Clarita up the 101 to meet some Amateur radio friends for a breakfast in Atascadero the other day. The Country Touch Café was selected from Yelp reviews and the meal did not disappoint. There were four of us and everyone reported they enjoyed the good food I ordered the Cowboy Omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast for $16.50. Folded into the middle was a large portion of Ham, Sausage, Bacon and melted American Cheese. The plate was then smothered with a thick Country Gravy. That was a 5 Star meal right there. One of my friends stated that he always orders the Chile Verde when he goes to a new place. That is the yardstick he measures them by. He gave this place 4.5 out of 5. 5 Stars for the food and a half point off for the toast being a bit late. Hey, he likes his toast... Still that small inconvenience was not enough to mar the experience. If in the neighborhood again I will go back again.

Country cookin' at its best!! Our friend brought us here and we were immediate charmed by the quaint little restaurant and the friendliest server ever!! We chatted about the town and what was going on and where we ought to go while in town. My friend and I ordered the veggie omelet, can I just say, I appreciate a place the recognizes that when you order a veggie omelet you want to be healthy?! This was topped with fresh veggies that weren't smothered in a ton of butter and cheese. I had a side of spinach that was sautéed perfectly and the homemade whole wheat toast was awesome! My friend had the raisin bread that was great too. The hasbrwons were a bit mushy for my taste, but everything else, including the charm and the servers was the best!!

Service was great and fast. My coffee was never empty. We had the crab cake eggs Benedict and country fried steak and both were so full of flavor and very delicious. First time here in many moons/years. Glad I decided to come today. Walking in we were greeted right away and seated. Super busy but got a seat right away. Within a minute we had our water and coffee super quick service. Our server was super nice. Answering all my questions about the menu. And hooking it up with the sauce. The food was delicious and we ate it all! I mean usually I take home leftovers but in this case I could not put my fork down. I had the French toast with a side of hashbrowns, bacon, eggs and sausage. Delicious. I believe if you ask for flavored creamer they have it. I did not see it until we were leaving that they have different flavors. The only possible downside is it can get loud with everyone talking but I didn't care too much. Will absolutely come here again.

Service was great food was great. Some of the best biscuits and gravy that I have had in the central coast. Biscuit was big and the gravy was great tasting as well.

Absolutely love this place. We've taken every friend who visits out of town here for breakfast. We are proud of having such a good food establishment in town.
