This little hole in the wall is a cute little place with some interesting food combinations. I got the beef bugolgi plate, its not the best bugolgi I've had but there was enough on the plate to fill me up.

This spot is perfect for a delicious breakfast or lunch at great prices, with excellent service to match. I met a friend there on a Sunday morning, and even with families around, the atmosphere was pleasant and quiet enough for a nice conversation. A great place to enjoy good food and good company.

Went for breakfast with the family, 3 adults, 1 kid. We ordered different items, mine being pork chops with 2 eggs. Was not very good, dry and tough meat with no taste. Others thought their order was good so the 3 star rating, otherwise my rating based on my meal would be much lower. Good service and were quick to come around to refill coffee and water. When I return (definitely will since there's basically no other breakfast option around this neighborhood), it'll definitely be for something else.

Classic old school country diner vibes are on point. I got the breakfast 🌯 and wifey got the country omelette. The food is fresh but packed with some seasoning and their pancakes were ok but could have been fluffier. Whatever the food lacked they made up for it with stellar service, Jennifer was our server and her busser/helper always made sure our coffee stayed full & hot. On service, would give 10 stars if I could. Bottom line, I still would come back to try other menu items. Next time I will get something with that Louisiana Sausage & their coffee cake because they were sold out. 🤩😋

Was looking for a good steak and eggs breakfast and the reviews for this restaurant were pretty good so I gave them a try. When I walked in I was told to sit wherever I wanted, and was given a menu. I ordered the steak and eggs with potato and biscuit and coffee. Now let's talk about the steak... The steak that I received had so much fat that got tired of looking for meat, potatoes were awful! How do you make something look good but taste bad? Eggs were ok. The star was the coffee! The coffee was very good. Oh, the biscuit jelly couldn't help make it taste better! Food is not good at all. Service is good. As I was sitting there an older man came in and it was his first time there as well. He left upset and he said this was horrible food. I must agree

Cute little cafe with fresh tasty food. My hubby and I get the Spanish omelette and homemade wheat bread and it's delicious. Our son likes the tuna salad. ☺️🍳☕

Google
Lovely homestyle breakfast spot! From the great homemade food to the attentive, familial staff it was a great meal at country touch cafe. I personally recommend the homemade hash and the muffins. Either way, you won't go wrong with whatever you order.

We've been here many times in the past, but not recently until today. We all enjoyed our breakfasts! We got French Toast, Eggs, Hash, Omelette & Chicken Fried Steak. A nice variety! We shall be back again!

Yelp
OMG! What a gem of a place! Food and service was awesome! Our waitress, Lauren gave us water right away. The table already had the menu and the utensils with your napkin. Food came out right away and was reasonably priced for what we ordered. The restaurant is very quaint, clean and it has awesome little quips around the restaurant. I ordered the Loco moco which came with your choice of bread. My friend ordered the daily special which was bulgogi, rice and eggs with your choice of toast. We also ordered a hot chocolate and coffee. We also shared a short stack of pancakes. We chatted with the owner, Diane Park, she is so nice! Because they we closing, Lauren offered us free coffee to take with us so they didn't waste. So sweet of her! We would definitely return again, next time we are in town.

Yelp
Every meal I've had here has been delicious. The staff are all friendly and polite especially the owner, they make you feel like you're family. The best thing about Country Touch Cafe is their consistency of their dishes, they're always delicious. The prices have not ballooned like most places, you'll enjoy a delicious meal at a fair price. There's parking in front, street parking and a nice size lot behind the restaurant. The interior is what you think of when you hear country touch cafe, a road stop serving up delicious homemade meals and doing it all great. I eat here pretty much every weekend and have been for years, it's just that good.

Shana H.

Yelp
I love coming here it's always good! The coffee is hot and generously poured. I'm stuffed writing this. The service is always good. It looks like they might have painted recently. Everything was clean. I'll be back again to try blueberry pancakes.

Yelp
If you want good local food made by a mom and pop shop with no frills and good service, you can come here. Location: On 190th between Felbar and Kornblum Avenue in Torrance. A few parking spaces in the front, but a large lot in the back. Food: I got the Spanish Omelette Deluxe. Not sure what the "deluxe" was about but it came with your choice of bread. Just enough food not too salty ( you can add your own). First having my potatoes flaked and not shredded or hashed, but it worked. There was some kind of sauce on top that was delicious and I couldn't put my finger on what it was. The chili inside the omelette is was made this dish sing. I'd get this again. The biscuit I got as a side was dry, so I won't be getting that again. Summary: The ambiance here is country small town local. Full of hometown decorations and the kind you'd find if you stopped at a local cafe on your way to a bigger town. The service was excellent so I don't understand why other reviews said it was poor. I'll get something else next time to see what else is good. Portions are modest so if you have a large appetite, get a side dish. The waffle from a dining companion was crisp, small but not soggy so that was a plus. Pricing is on par with other local spots around town with inflation in effect. But, I could see myself coming here to avoid the bigger chains in the area. Happy eating!!!

Beck L.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Country Touch Cafe and won't be my last. It's a little hidden gem off of 190th. The food was excellent and the service was great. I had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. I'd like to try something else on the menu on my next visit but my burrito was so good I may order it again. The employees are very sweet, especially Mary. I will definitely be back.

Andrew Y.

Yelp
Great family owned breakfast spot. Services and food is ALWAYS great. You won't be disappointed.

Alma V.

Yelp
Quaint dinner experience. Serve classic breakfast. The servers are always nice and attentive.

Vivian A.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon, party of two around noon. Place was busy. The servers were nice and the place had a really comfy, down home feel. What I swallowed: *BULGOGI with EGGS & RICE: The meat was really tender and was really tasty. This was the perfect, very filling meal. *BLUEBERRY MUFFIN: Strudel top was nice and crispy and the muffin was moist and delicious. Really great ending to a fantastic breakfast. The people there were super nice and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I've always wanted to come in here, but I am decidedly not a morning person. So by the time I'm usually ready to go and grab some food, they're closed. But, I managed to get up early this morning and came in with my husband, and I LOVED it! There's parking in the front and back (more so in the back.) Very cozy inside, cute decor that makes it feel homey and like you're in a friend or close relative's kitchen rather than a restaurant. We were seated immediately and our server was so sweet, I didn't get her name but she made my morning! We bonded over our tattoos and she was just really kind, I liked her a lot. My husband got the country fried steak, and I got the chef's omelette. We both opted to upgrade our toast for biscuits and gravy. I'm actually very, very picky about biscuits and gravy because I grew up around my Southern great-grandma, but I really enjoyed them! I loved the omelette (I'm not a big "meats for breakfast" kind of person so it fit what I wanted, and it's a great vegetarian option) and the potatoes were really nice and crispy. My husband wolfed down his chicken fried steak, which is always a good sign. This is right around the corner from me so I'm definitely coming back soon. They have a bulgogi omelette, and I really wanna try that.

Jessica G.

Yelp
This place is truly a hidden gem of Torrence. We decided to have breakfast here this morning after always driving past it and so happy we made the stop. We had the Spanish Deluxe Omelette with potatoes and biscuits and gravy, and the Country omelette with fruit and the blueberry muffin. Everything is homemade and it shows in its quality. We loved our food so much that we even got the waffle sundae as a breakfast dessert. The service was great, my coffee cup was never below half, and it's super cozy and bright. This place is our new go-to breakfast spot!

Louis P.

Yelp
This was one of my spits when I worked in the area. Cozy little spot with classic food, straight to the point menu reasonably priced. Gives classic Diner vibes. Breakfast is great, my go-to order was Corned Beef Hash with eggs. Good ol stick your ribs food that reminds me of a midwest meal. Staff was always friendly never had any issues.

Steve Y.

Yelp
Always a great place to have breakfast and enjoy, friendly service! Have had breakfast there the last couple of weeks. Everyone there makes you feel at home. A nice variety of breakfast, a must try if your in Torrance!

Eliseo M.

Yelp
The chicken fried steak is off the hook. I try the chicken fried steak everywhere I go. I've tried several things off the menu in the past 6 months. The ambiance is great. Service is great. Really nothing to complain about, this place is awesome and I hope it's there for a long time for real.

Donna C.

Yelp
Excellent little find when dropping off a friend to an appointment. I had the Breakfast Croissant with eggs, avocado, cheese and bacon. It comes with great potatoes and was excellent. Good friendly service as well.

Mona g.

Yelp
Friendly staff and the name "Country Touch" is true. The inside has vintage country decor. The food was good and the waitress Mary was super sweet. Great prices for the food quality and fresh baked bread is always good. The downside - restrooms were tiny. I'm not a big woman but if I was I wouldn't fit.

L B.

Yelp
Found our new favorite breakfast/brunch spot. Portions are great prices are better. Cute clean spot. Everyone was so friendly and loved the decor service was great. Not a long wait at all

Big J.

Yelp
I've passed this place for over 20 years. Worked across the street for 15years. And finally made my way in. I will say the service and food are great. You will not be disappointed

John T.

Yelp
Easy to feel really comfortable here. Servers really work hard to ensure you feel welcome, that your coffee cup is filled, and that you have everything you need. It is now on our breakfast short list. The decor is definitely legitimate old school (vs. what some corporate restaurant designer thinks is old school). Plenty of tables, counter seating, and booths, comfortable enough that you want to linger. The printed menu is old school American, but the specials board included Asian options. For breakfast there is a good selection of vegetarian options; for lunch and dinner I don't think there is a single item that is vegetarian. And vegans, nothing period. I had the Deluxe Spanish Omelette which was very tasty with a few dollops of Tapatio. Potatoes nicely cooked, and a decent muffin. Partner had vegetable omelette which was filled with a generous helping of vegetables. Both were enjoyed. Pretty standard diner coffee. Definitely will be back..

Edith U.

Yelp
Great service good food. This is a small and cozy little restaurant that makes you feel like home. All the servers are amazing including the sweet little asaian women that I believe is the owner. Even the busser Jose is great! Love the chorizo with eggs and the sundae waffles. It's our new family favorite.

Christine K.

Yelp
Last time I was at country touché kitchen there was a cockroach on my toast plate and one on the wall. Didn't they close it down for awhile?

Nick H.

Yelp
*****Amazing!***** What a surprise to find a non- gimmick place with good quality food and great Service!! I stopped by after passing it on the way to an appointment. The old school ficad out front reminded me of a cafe you might find on a small country road. The Vintage style interior was tasteful and extremely clean and comfy. It reminded me of breakfast at grandmas!! I ordered the tuna salad plate that comes with homemade potatoes and homemade salsa. Quality 10 Taste 10 Price...reasonable Overall...10! Or 5 stars on yelp. The homemade potatoes and salsa were the recommended dish. They did not disappoint! Delicious. They don't skimp on Quality here. They also don't skip on size. Plenty of great tasting food to cure a hungry appetite without a huge bill. The coffee is a low key and no frills cup..but the taste is better than those $5 places for sure... no doubt! Plenty of parking out back! Plenty of smiles...and they are free! The people here definitely want your business and make this such a happy spot to have a meal or just a cup of coffee! I would definitely come here again.

Allen S.

Yelp
Cozy little mom and pop diner, I have a soft spot for these places, people really friendly. Good place to sit down with a good book while they pour you gallons of coffee.

Latisha T.

Yelp
Very delicious country-style food! Most of my party had breakfast: Big #1 and Bacon and Eggs combo. I had the BLT sandwich. Everyone mentioned how delicious their food: the bacon, pancakes, potatoes, and everyone love the country gravy. My husband said it had the country gravy consistency and had a good taste. A little different than usual country gravy but it was still tasty...he even asked for extra on the side! My BLT was good. The fries were crispy and I also added a side of canned peaches. My Grandma ordered a blueberry muffin to go and it was warm with a side of butter. Love the Mom and Pop feel of the place! Customer service was great! It was also nice to hear the employees greet everyone especially their regulars. They addressed their regulars by name and even one of their regulars said, "we'll see you tomorrow". Nice to know they have a regular customer base. Definitely will be back when we are in town.

Rosy T.

Yelp
Such great hospitality and care! This is the best place to go if you're in Torrance :) fresh food, amazing service, and home-feel ambiance!

Joselyne R.

Yelp
Wow! I've driven past this restaurant a couple times and today was the day I got to know this place. I love the atmosphere as it brushes off with a cozy ambiance. This space was much larger than I thought. Sat at a booth and was quickly acknowledged by our wonderful new friend, Mary. Mary was phenomenal and attentive. Never was there a need for me to go look for her as she made sure to come around plenty of times checking in. She went above and beyond; going out of her way to suggest homemade items made from the restaurant itself. Here I present you the apple butter and some toast. This shit is fire You rock Mary! We will come around soon, thanks again for the top tier hospitality and overall being yourself. David and Jos

Maria F.

Yelp
This place is a favorite for weekend (or weekday) breakfast or brunch. Weekends can get busy and you may experience a wait. They have a small lot so it may be difficult to find parking. On this trip we ordered: Chicken-fried steak. A favorite that's on heavy rotation. Breakfast burrito. A new order for us. It's definitely a contender for the repeat list. Their blueberry muffins are delicious. Some days it's hard to choose between toast or muffin as you want both.

Ceci V.

Yelp
Food is amazing and staff are always pleasant and attentive. It definitely gives that home cooking vibe

Dennis S.

Yelp
This place is definitely homely, you can expect the staff and even patrons to recognize you. On this visit had the pleasure of being assisted by Kelly. She is attentive, friendly, and personable. The food is all the comforts of growing up having a relative make the goodies that you're used to eating with those special touches. There's definitely items I didn't try here yet and look forward trying every item on the menu. For a tip there's parking in the back. If you get the pancakes or coffee cake. Get it with butter instead of margarine. I learned this tip from Mary. Shout out to the staff that was there on this Saturday. Mary, Kelly, Jenny, and all the other folks!

Nicolas J.

Yelp
Yay another local breakfast spot to enjoy on my way to work. Been looking for a "diner" style breakfast spot and thankfully Yelp led me here. Had the standard house special #1 with pancakes 1 bacon 1 sausage and eggs. Ordered a side of sourdough toast and a coffee (less than $20 when writing) and the food was delicious. Note to self ask for no butter on toast (I like jam) on future trips. I'd recommend this spot

Kamill B.

Yelp
I haven't eaten here in years. I'm not sure why because it is really good. I started eating so quickly that I forgot to take pictures! Everything was delicious. The biscuits are to die for!! I could've eaten 10 of those. Very fluffy and tasty. There was a blueberry muffin but it was devoured! (Lol) Anywho, just really good comfort food. The service was great. The seating area is large and indoor or outdoor seating. I will definitely be returning sooner than later.

Laura J.

Yelp
This little cafe is a hidden gem! Lots of locals stop by, and they are addressed by their names . We were visiting from Pasadena & found this place on Yelp. The cafe is located next to a liquor store & doesn't look like much from the outside , but walk inside the cute cafe that has an original counters and plenty of seating. We came for breakfast & everything was delicious. I had the ham & eggs , potatoes & coffee. The ham was steak , the potatoes were sliced or diced , soft and crispy , they melt in your mouth. The coffee was diner type of roast, soo good. My husband had the home made sausage and eggs & toast. He was happy with his choice and added that he would like to come back. The bathrooms were very clean and floors , counters , spotless. The owner looks Korean , she was friendly and followed me out to give me my applesauce that I had forgotten at the table

Tee Tee W.

Yelp
Stop by this place had been seeing it for awhile and was pleasantly surprised good food service couldn't been any better everyone was so nice even the other customers

Susan P.

Yelp
I got a to go order that was so yummy; country breakfast and a side of potatoes. The total for the food would be $18; when I went to pick it up I was charged $25 for the breakfast and side, I gave a tip. That was not included that I know of. I know we have tax but where did the extra $5 go? Some kind of BS covid recovery charge? $27 for a casual to go breakfast can feed one person for a week. I don't understand how restaurants are getting away with gouging up

Kia K.

Yelp
Stopped because we read this place was great for a diner style breakfast. Cannot say enough how friendly all the staff was. Great customer service! They make sure your coffee cup stays full. Mary was our server, and she was so nice and helpful with suggestions. I ended up getting the bulgogi omelet because I had never seen anything like that before. It was delicious! Potatoes were flat-top fried and had a good crisp on one side. Just the way I like it! Food hit the spot, and we left feeling very full and caffenated.

Angie C.

Yelp
The food was ok. I had the croissant breakfast and I won't ever eat it again. Plenty of free parking Staff was great

Brody R.

Yelp
I had such an amazing Sunday breakfast experience! A classic diner environment with plenty of food options! The menu and food is very straight to the point and although it was busy, the customer service is very friendly and positive, literally every person on the staff had a smile on their face. I'll definitely come back again and again to support! Much love to Country Touch Cafe!

Aimee A.

Yelp
I also just realized this is review #600!!! Yay! Very appropo then. Looking for a down home coffee shop? Country Touch has been in my neighborhood forever. But I only just recently experienced it. What I have missed. You know me, breakfast is the thing. Their waffles are light and crispy and are perfect. Their breakfast burrito and salsa are amazing too. The service is super efficient and friendly. Coming back to try the chorizo and bulgogi dishes.

Addy A.

Yelp
Cozy diner with delightful food and great prices! First time there and I would definitely go back. I had the steak and eggs, thinner steak but I like that did breakfast. Biscuits were tasty and waffle too. The potatoes were home but smashed and meaty, I didn't think I would like it but I was surprised. Really friendly service also. Overall great diner :)

Lew W.

Yelp
The rating is based on comparable diner experience (i.e. Denny's, Norms, etc.) We come here often because it's a dependable restaurant for a hearty breakfast. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Have tried just about everything on the breakfast menu and we're always satisfied. Great family fare. Cheers!!!

Jordan G.

Yelp
We came in with like 10 people and the owner was the most hospitable and genuinely caring owner we've experienced in a very long time. She even gave a complimentary muffin to the first 2-3 people to arrive, while they waited for the rest of our party to show up. Regular coffee refills without prompt, highly attentive management giving us updates on cook times and suggestions for things to do during our stay, and dozen amazing plates would honestly earn this place more than 5 stars if allowed If you're looking for a quaint little locally-owned small-business cafe, run by a team that truly cares and appreciates your business, you won't regret your visit!

Paula W.

Yelp
Of all things, my Mom introduced me to this place. I've driven by so many times, but just never stopped until my Mom suggested it. EVERYONE that works here is so very nice. It's simple, great diner food. What I appreciate most is the food is served HOT...piping hot. Mom likes a few items on the menu, but I fancy the breakfast burrito with ham. It has everything - egg, ham, potatoes, cheese...and the salsa...YUM!!! For me, just the right amount of spiciness to get the ol' nose running.

robert s.

Yelp
Mainly a breakfast place with nice hardy plates. They have items like bulgoki and eggs (korean beef) and loco moko. The servers are nice and helpful. This is the kind of place you usually find in a rural setting but it's in an industrial area of Torrance. the prices are fair

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I've driven by this spot so many times and I tell myself every time that I will check them out one day. I finally made time to go but then... COVID19. Ugh. I wasn't sure if they stayed open or when they opened, but as soon as restrictions lifted, I decided to go for a takeout order. It was a nice surprise to find they're allowing dine-ins! (I'm still not all that comfortable about dining in, so takeout it is!) Their menu is simple and straightforward. It is, in fact, a diner. It had a really homely feel. Their overall décor and set up pretty much transported me back to when times were not so complicated. I felt comfortable. The one thing I order at diners on a first-time visit is their chicken fried steak. I put in a couple more orders (Pops wanted bacon and eggs, Mom wanted steak and eggs.) Everything was made to order, so there was a teenee wait which I didn't mind. I got the chance to look around some more. They have some pretty interesting (and funny) décor almost at every corner. I got entertained while killing time just literally looking around. We were outta there sooner than I thought. We got home not too long after, so food was still borderline warm/hot. I was hungry, so I got on my grub immediately. Chicken fried steak was excellent. Batter was on the thicker side but seasoned well. The meat was nothing like ones I've had from other diners - they really live up to their statement of "Home made is our specialty." My dish screamed homemade, absolutely. It's almost hard to describe, but hands down delicious. The gravy was also on the thicker side, but very tasty. Combining meat and gravy = delicious. FOOD: 4. Like me, Mom and Pop also cleaned out their plates. SERVICE: 5. They were very friendly making sure we didn't need anything while we waited. (They offered water.) VALUE: 4. More than fair for what you get. PARKING: Some spots up front, more in the back. OVERALL: 4.25. They were really mindful about social distancing. They marked tables that can and cannot be used to follow protocol. Customers were as compliant. Coming back to check out their loco moco, corned beef hash, bulgogi anything (not necessarily in that order) among other things. The point is, I'm coming back. Highly recommending as well.

Nancy C.

Yelp
Service was great. Food was the most bland, unseasoned food I have had the displeasure of eating. It literally tasted like they don't even put salt in their food. I got the biscuits and gravy, country fried steak with 2 eggs and potatoes. Nothing had seasoning. The gravy didn't even have seasoning at all. I tried to add salt and pepper and it didn't even help. The country fried steak literally tasted like just unflavored meat. I've never had something country fried and smothered in gravy that tasted so bland. Do not recommend this place at all.

Neal N.

Yelp
Dining here is like going to a friend's house to eat. The owner of the restaurant, no matter how busy she is, always welcomes you with a warm smile. The staff makes you feel just as welcomed, as they escort you to a table and drop of menus for you to look over. They don't make you feel rushed to order, they allow you to take your time. Your food is served hot right off the grill and accompanied with any condiments you may want. Get the their salsa, it's a must have accessory. For those looking for a hearty fresh breakfast, get the steak and eggs with home fried potatoes. It will satisfy not only for breakfast, but carry through until dinner. Yes, you can skip lunch. On Fridays, they offer clam chowder, New England style (white creamy chowder). Be aware they only open for breakfast and lunch. However, it's worth adjusting your schedule to eat here.

angela l.

Yelp
If you want breakfast in a country decorated place, this is it. Had the chicken fried steak breakfast, next time want to try the loco moco. Service was very attentive.

KiKi N.

Yelp
Gnats, flies, and poor service! My husband and I came hear for breakfast and was never asked, until I was nearly finished, if everything was ok or if we needed anything. My coffee was never refilled, although a server walked around with a coffee pot asking every other table, except ours, if they'd like more coffee. Instead, my husband had to walk to the counter and get my coffee cup refilled. My husband's water was never refilled nor was he asked is he'd like more water. I had toast as a side and was never offered jelly/jam. I don't want to make it about race, but it's hard to not think it was as we were the only Black people in the restaurant. Now the gnats and flies. Deciding to keep the front and back door open is fine, however ensure there's something in place to help mitigate them flying around the guest's food. It was annoying to swat at pests while eating. I'll never come here again. Instead, I recommend everyone to consider Matthews Cafe on Rosecrans in Gardena. The only reason we didn't go there as this was closer at the time being.

Aitak C.

Yelp
Service is very attentive. The only thing it's their coffee. Has no flavor. $3.50 for a small cup of nothing water, too much. Next I will bring my own coffee from 7-11 .,

Lucy M.

Yelp
Great food, pancakes are tasty. Lovely ambiance and quality too. The service area are clean and server is friendly.
