Google
Nice cafe. Coffee is much better than Starbucks obviously. They have good Internet and clean bathrooms. The spicy Maya mocha with slightly reduced sweetness was so good. Really delicious. Matcha latte is also good.

This place was so good! I feel that the name doesn't justify the place. We thought we were going to a coffee shop (like a Starbucks) that maybe had some breakfast sandwiches and croissants, etc. but this is a full-fledged breakfast/lunch spot! We were in the area for 4 days and ended up there twice. The first day we had the wrap with avocado and egg. it was huge! We also got pancakes that were cooked perfectly. The cappuccino was excellent and their iced tea was great too (it was mango flavored, but unsweetened. Perfect) The 2nd time we had turkey avocado wrap and an omelette. They were both so good. Everything there is very fresh and homemade. I highly recommend it. I even downloaded the app because next time I'm in MV, I will definitely go back!

Google
Very nice lunch spot. The Mediterranean panini was great. Service is friendly but a bit on the slow side. The place has a lot of people quietly working on their laptops. Better option than a Starbucks for a work or networking meeting.

Google
I really love this place and I come eat here somewhat regularly. The food is tasty, the employees are very nice! I just wish the plates looked cleaner. This weird black... something(?) on the entire plate made me a bit nervous, but in the end, I ate the food and didn't get sick. I think that it would be better to just order new plates for the location if the ones they have currently are too old to appear clean. Nonetheless, I still recommend this place.

"I'm absolutely in love with this coffee shop! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The Pumpkin Spice Coffee is a must-try - delicious!

Google
I can’t stop thinking about the cinnamon rolls. They’re unlike any other cinnamon roll- more like a cinnamon croissant. Light, flaky, twisted with a good amount of cinnamon filling, and topped with Demerara sugar. One of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten. Also, the Mayan mocha with oat milk is absolutely perfect. I ate here three times in my 5 days visiting from out of town… so just know that if Coupa Cafe ever comes to Utah I’ll be there often

Google
Very slow and meh service. You order at the counter and get a beep device when your meal is done. Coffee was in a paper up. Many cafes in California don’t have coffee in mugs even though people dine inside, which is very environmentally unfriendly.

Google
Great cafe with nice atmosphere. Very relaxed, clean, spacious, cozy, and was playing upbeat music. Took our food to go but would have loved to stay and enjoy it there. Drink: Spicy Maya Mocha was delicious! Just the right amount of spice, cinnamon, and chocolate. Not too sweet. Food: Cheese empanaditas. Very tasty! Loved how cheesy it was and the dough was different than other empanadas I have had recently, more pancake-like texture. My friend had the chicken arepa and said it was enjoyable. We also brought home the dulce leche croissant. It was delicious, but am glad I saw how it was filled so I folded it on half and ate both sides together. 😂 Will def be back!

Yelp
Coupa cafe has some of the best chai I've ever tried! I went for the sweeter option, although they have different kinda. It was amazing in my dirty chai latte and I was tempted by the array of sweet treats they had available. I spend the day studying here and really enjoyed all of the natural light and pleasant ambiance. The parking is a little hard to find because of the location but it's worth it!

Brad G.

Yelp
They have decent coffee and it's close to home so I come here pretty often. Service is pretty average. That said, I find it really annoying that they nickel and dime for every little thing. Charging an extra 38 cents to add like a Tablespoon of almond milk to top off a drink? Kind of ridiculous and just annoying. Should be no charge for that tiny amount when already paying like over $6 or $7 for a drink. What happened to the days when milk was freely accessible to add to your own drink anyway? Ugh. Everything is uber expensive nowadays.

Elaine W.

Yelp
Loved the arepas here. The Mayan chocolate and mocha were great too. Great ambiance. The cafe is a great place to work for a couple hours or have a chat with friends.

Yelp
I was in the area waiting for Chef Chu's to open for lunch. A quick Yelp search for coffee and this cafe popped up. I think it's deja vu or not, but I could've sworn I was here before. That's why I upload a ton of photos to document and remember that I've been to this and that place. I just wanted a large cup of the Deluxious Dark Mocha as requested by my wife for the drive back to Sacramento. There were two manning the counter and I could've sworn one of them took a break as we were queued for ordering. After 5 minutes or so, I was finally able to get my single order in and waited. There was more waiting for my coffee as they had a lot of orders ahead of me. The smell of the beans being grounded and brewed was just teasing my thirst for the java. It was a wait of about 30 more minutes, but the brew was worth it. It's good I wasn't in a hurry and a lot of photos were snapped during this idle time.

Yelp
The overall rating is only considering food, not the service or price My opinions: - Breakfast Wrap: (8/10 - Very Good) - Just a bit too salty, but very good overall Wife's opinions: - Breakfast Wrap: (7/10 - Good) - Strawberry & Banana Waffle: (5/10 - Average) - Texture was too pancakey Son's opinions: - Bagel Sandwich: ("Elephant" - 4/10) - Fries: ("Rhino" - 3/10) Other notes: - Takeout - Paper packaging which was effective

Aaron C.

Yelp
Breakfast arepa Carne mechada arepa Venezuelan Latte Modern and yet relaxing spot to hang out -- either for coffee, food or ambience. The vaulted ceilings give it a spacious feel. Breakfast arepa This was delicious. The cheese was flavorful and complimented the egg, bacon and the cornmeal arepa well. Carne mechada arepa Not sure if this is the authentic style, though I found the meat to be a tad tough -- though it did fall off the bone.

Yelp
The boba in their drinks is so old that it's soggy and can barely hold its shape. Not appetizing. Where's the quality control?

Trina P.

Yelp
I have passed this place so many times as it's across the street to the San Antonio Shopping Center. I thought it was just a coffee shop, but their menu has salads, burgers, tacos, quesadillas and more. I only had time to grab a hot chocolate to go. They have two types of hot chocolates available. I ordered the Delicious Dark Hot Chocolate, which really was delicious. I hope to try the Spicy Maya Hot Chocolate next time.

Kyle G.

Yelp
A cute little convenient spot to grab coffee in the area. We grabbed food because we were hungry and it was surprisingly very good! The menu is pretty extensive for what seems like a cafe on the exterior. We got a custom scramble and omelette. The staff initially missed avocados on our orders but quickly corrected and brought them out to our table, no problem there :) It's a bit pricey but that's par for the course in this area, will definitely come again when I'm in the area near breakfast/brunch time!

Nikhil L.

Yelp
Date of visit 12/5/23 This was my first visit to this beautiful cafe in Los Altos. The cafe was decorated with Christmas decorations and looked very clean. I saw many people working and some catching up with friends. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a catch-up with friends over coffee. Although I found the food to be slightly expensive, I believe that's because I'm comparing the prices in California to the prices I'm used to paying in Maryland. Regardless, the egg scramble I ordered was totally worth it. I also tried the Vietnamese coffee (cold brew) and liked it, even though I'm not really a fan of cold coffee. One thing that the cafe can improve upon is when I asked for recommendations (since this was my first time here) the customer usually expects to hear about the most popular drink or the barista's favorite, and I didn't get a clear answer for this!

Izzie L.

Yelp
Updating my previous review after trying new items. FOOD [4/5] ----------- + Strazza Crepe [4/5] Super sweet and typical rendition of a strawberry crepe. They give lots and lots of strawberries! I liked the whipped cream too. :) + Breakfast Wrap [5/5] This was SO good for the price! And it was super delicious. The wrap was warm, balanced very well with veggies and meat, and the sauce is to die for! + Mango Smoothie [4/5] A pretty good smoothie! A little more on the expensive side.

Yelp
Coupa Cafe serves breakfasts the whole day and it's awesome! There is a big variety of things you can have for breakfast: from waffles and pancakes to sandwiches and bagels. Location is very good too, as there are grocery shops, nice neighborhoods close by. Staff is super nice. There are tables inside and outside. You make an order at the register and pay right away. I ordered waffle with strawberries, banana and Nutella and my friend ordered oven roasted turkey panini, that goes with salad. Food was good. The portions were giant and even 1 item would be enough for two people. Cappuccino had a tasty milky foam but coffee was bitter.

Rina M.

Yelp
Great service and very good coffee in Mountain View's - Los Altos! This is my second time to have breakfast here and it's a must to grab your morning coffee and pastries!

Mikayla H.

Yelp
Came back to do some work and try some different menu items. I got the Carne Mechada quesadilla and my partner got the Chicken Chipotle panini. Great flavor on both and came out fresh! My only qualm is the sogginess of the bread after around 5 minutes (but that's how you know it's freshly made I guess LOL). Great workspace as usual (good wifi and charging ports), though extra packed on a weekday!

Danielle B.

Yelp
My first time at Coupa Cafe and I left as a happy customer! I ordered a matcha latte (with oat milk) to go and picked up the French toast for a friend. I am a big matcha enthusiast, so this is what I was most excited to try. My latte was deliciously creamy and I could actually taste the matcha flavor! My friend said the French toast was pretty good. It was not overly sweet which was the right balance with the maple syrup. I went on a weekday around noon, so it was quite busy but I was able to get my order fairly quickly. Coupa Cafe is definitely a hidden gem as it's tucked away underneath the apartment complex. Parking is behind the actual cafe. I will be back to try more items on the menu!

Amanda L.

Yelp
The first half of the chicken cesar wrap was good. The second half had old lettuce, i jist took them out and ate the rest. The matcha drink was good, didn't realize the medium size was so small. ‍

Sudatta J.

Yelp
Amazing service, was able to custom order my frappe and it was well made. The delicious dark mocha (cold) was also well made. Nice ambience to work, spend time.

Paula C.

Yelp
Unless you know about this cafe, you would probably pass right by it while driving; it is attached to the Colonnade Apartment complex and the parking is actually behind and underneath the cafe. I found parking pretty quickly and there was an easy walkway right to the coffee shop. When I walked in, while most of the tables inside(there are a few tables outside. however, it's 9am and 49 degrees outside in California :) were full, there was no line to order and three employees were just hanging out drinking coffee behind the counter. As I approached, one immediately came to take care of my order; he was patient as it was my first time and I couldn't decide on my order. Once I placed my order (for here), I was given a pager for when my order was ready. I then began my search for a table and found one in the corner that was perfect, except it had a dirty dish that someone had left behind (and this is why I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5) and I was a bit annoyed that I had to clean the table since there were those bored employees that had just been standing around. See photos attached for the 2 things I ordered. A medium Carmel Macchiato and their Sourdough French toast with strawberries. Both were delicious! Rather than pour the maple syrup on, I dipped my fork before each bite and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. While there were three slices of bread, it was also just the right amount of food without feeling over full. My coffee looked cute, of course, and was also not too sweet with a unique boldness in the coffee itself. I will definitely be back as there are many more breakfast and lunch items on their menu that I would love to explore.

Rob C.

Yelp
not a lot of coffee shops open after 4, so easy spot to meet here and park in the underground retail lot. closes at 5 pm, same menu and drinks

Susie E.

Yelp
In a world full of average coffee this shop stands out as a beacon of excellence. Whether you're a casual coffee drinker or a true aficionado you own it to yourself to visit is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning.

Melchor D.

Yelp
The coffee was great. The first time I had a Marron coffee and it's delicious I was strong and creamy. Also had my first Dulce de Leche croissant! It had enough filling to be sweet and not overpower the croissant flavor. There was a lot of room to sit and had one wall that had outlets if you want to study or work remotely. The parking is a little small and shared with an apartment complex. Would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Michael S.

Yelp
This is a solid location in Los Altos if lookin for a breakfast or lunch item. Well prepared good , good portion for the money and easy area to get in and out of. Seating both on the inside and out and generally friendly staff. Really only thing that kept this from a five star was the wait time for the number of people was long. But we will try again as the strawberry French toast was not only the bomb it was filling with a lot of fruit ! Enjoy

Elaine ..

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but their pricing on splashing oatmilk in my drip coffee was absurd. They were going to charge me $1 to add a splash of oatmilk into my coffee. I just wanted a little bit and am lactose intolerant. Starbucks doesn't even charge for almond milk, oatmilk, etc. in their lattes anymore. I guess it's time to go back to Starbucks.

Bethany L.

Yelp
What a cute coffee shop! While a friend was getting their hair done next door, I was in need of caffeine, food and a place to read! My vanilla latte was good. For food, I got the empanditas, filled with meat and cheese, and they were delicious; they came with three dipping sauces and were the perfect, little snack. Both the coffee and food came out quickly. As far as atmosphere, half the customers were reading or working on laptops, while the others were enjoying a meal with a friend.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Always love Coupa! This location is a lovely space and the food and drinks are always delicious. Staff is always kind. It is a great space to work, gather, or relax.

Sharon H.

Yelp
I love the South American inspired menu here. It's a nice spot to grab both lunch and coffee. You order from your table with the QR code and they have both indoor and outdoor patio seating. It's located in a pretty nice apartment/plaza structure. Better to download their app to order, since you get points. Also, the food can take a loooong time which we learned during our first visit. So the second time, we ordered ahead on the app. Food: Huge menu with salads, tacos, paninis, warps, burgers, crepes, etc, but definitely try the Arepas! Arepas: The first time we got the Pabellon which was impressive: huge overflowing arepa stuffed with shredded beef, black beans sweet fried plantains, fresh white cheese. I was super impressed by how all the flavors went together- it was a beautiful and delicious meal! The second time we came back, I wanted to try 'healthier' versions so had the Pollo (chicken) and Breakfast arepa with egg and bacon. They were both very boring, with flavorless protein, so I really wouldn't bother with those. Arugula and Avocado Salad: nice and refreshing, good size They also have an extensive men of espresso and coffee drinks, teas, chais, fruit smoothies etc, as well as a dessert shelf inside

Darioush B.

Yelp
First time I've ever walked in a cafe and no one is eating. Should have received the omen. I was ready to order full breakfast but decided against it after the less than friendly guy at the counter finally got to us. My daughter and I ended up going with smoothies and a croissant. The smoothies straws made from compost - I guess. Ended up going through 3 of them trying to finish my beverage because they kept cracking. Decided to go with a paper boba straw that ended up being made of paper and was not much better. I'm still trying to understand the staffing model here. One counter worker and maybe ten patrons on-hand. Service couldn't exactly be called that. Smoothies were okay and croissant was Costco-ish.

Elissa H.

Yelp
The vibes were good and there was ample parking in the garage. They missed the avocado in our eggs but gave it to us on the side when we asked:)

Celina S.

Yelp
TLDR: Super slow, and the coffee was weak. I ordered the Cafe Caracas which is advertised as "soft". Yeah it was soft because I could barely taste any coffee I ordered via QR code like the signs on the tables prompted us to, but in the end I had to go inside and ask about our orders, which they had forgotten to bring out. The outside patio looks nice but is right on El Camino so it's too loud to actually enjoy; we moved inside.

Sandy A.

Yelp
I only had drinks here but I do love the cafe, how it has outlets at every table and that the staff are very nice. I would love to come back to eat here. Their menu is huge and looks delicious and healthy. Great place to sit and work or to catch up with friends. The tiger chai was delicious and the deluxious hot chocolate was extremely thick and delicious.

Ashlye G.

Yelp
This coffee shop is the perfect spot to study - cozy, quiet, and inviting. The staff is super friendly, and Alissa was especially kind. She recommended the strawberry and matcha smoothies, and now they're my favorites! If you're looking for a nice place to relax or get some work done, I highly recommend it.

Purva J.

Yelp
Good cafe, some interesting offerings, very cool happening environment The pull for this cafe for was the vibe. Students and working professionals doing their business right in the cafe. Very hip and happening. They also have some interesting offerings like Cafe Caracas, Marron and Benezuelen offerings. I can recommend the Caracas, but over all the taste is reasonable. So you can expect a standard drink. Recommend for a place to chill and chitchat as opposed to picking up coffee.

Monica S.

Yelp
A couple days ago, I wrote an unhappy review and the owner reached out to me immediately to find out the details of the issue. He's immediately arranged a fix the issue. I am so impressed with their concern for me as a customer and that their cafe gives the best service possible. I've been back twice and loved the food, coffee, and ambiance. I live practically next door so I'm looking forward to making Coupa cafe a regular stop on my morning walks. Thank u Coupa for taking care of me!

Irene C.

Yelp
Love this cute place with ample seating and you can order ahead via mobile app while seated so you don't need to stand in line. It does get crowded and a bit loud but if you don't mind noisy then this is a good spot. Great meet up for breakfast with friends or post workout!

Debbie D.

Yelp
A gem of a cafe! My friend and I happened to stumble upon this cafe while our other friend had an appointment. We ordered a coffee, elephant chai tea, hummus wrap, and veggie crunch. My friend later ordered the boba drink and an almond croissant for me. The service was decent. We got our drinks in about 5-10 minutes and our wraps in 20 min. It really depends on how busy they are because the boba drink my friend ordered later on was served almost immediately. Taste-wise, the chai tea was delicious and one of the best I've ever had! The wraps tasted great, too, and they did not skimp out on the vegetables. They actually had a good amount of vegan/vegetarian options, so definitely come here if you want a healthy brunch.

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Coupa cafe is one of my favorites! The atmosphere is very welcoming and open. The coffee drinks are pretty good, but I mostly go for their delicious Pabellon Arepa or Pabellon Plate, which comes with venezuelan shredded beef, plantains, black beans, and fried arepas (corn flour patties). It's a must try! To go with the food, the smoothies are really good. They're refreshing and not too sweet. I'd recommend the strawberry and mango ones. For chai lattes, I've only tried the Tiger Spice, and quite enjoyed it. There are plenty of seating available, indoors and outdoors, and easy parking, so it's a great place to work or have a relaxing lunch at.

Jennie P.

Yelp
First of all, as a Venezuelan this place's food is authentic and sooo delicious and makes my heart so happy. Coffee is also delish. Second the service is great and fast. Third the ambiance is relaxing and warm, always good music and plenty of room to work or hangout. I love this place!

Rachel K.

Yelp
The breakfast burrito was solid! Loved it and the side of fresh fruit. It was pretty large, so ended up being 2 meals for me. The iced vanilla latte was also pretty good. The iced matcha latte was way too milky, so I would NOT recommend getting that. The staff was so pleasant and the overall vibes of the place were great.

Gary C.

Yelp
Another great Coupa cafe branch. I typically either visit the downtown Ramona location or this location. This place is a lot easier to find parking. Right underneath, underground parking for retail customers! It's right next to wholefood too if you need grocery shopping right afterward. Their portion is quite large and not too expensive. A salad is around $13 to $15, hard to find in Los Altos/Palo Alto area. My latest visit? no bad surprise, good as always! I haven't tried this, but there is QR code on the table, if you pay online they bring it to your table! If you order at the counter, they give you a buzzer instead.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Ambience: Spacious cafe -- with plentiful and a variety of seating options indoors and outdoors. The music is not too loud and pleasant to listen to while working. Service: Didn't go out of their way to welcome but was overall helpful and efficient. Food: They don't specialize in coffee. They didn't have pour over options, but still the Guayoyo tasted great as a black. They are more known for their food it seems like.

Vivi B.

Yelp
Seriously some of the best coffee I have had in the South Bay. European style. Creamy nonfat milk foam and very strong espresso. Paired with a traditional arepa and it's a fantastic meal.

Christine L.

Yelp
Cute cafe with good food and even better smoothies! You seat yourself and order at the counter or scan a QR code and they bring it right to your table, good vegan options (had the veggie wrap) and really good smoothies. I had the matcha mango smoothie and it was delicious- tasted like matcha which I love and the mango added a hint of sweetness. Would go back!

Brittany A.

Yelp
I've been here on a few occasions so far and I love visiting when I'm in the area. I have tried the cafe caracas (iced), breakfast tacos and pollo arepa. This was one of my first times trying Venezuelan arepas so I was excited. The coffee was creamy and not sweet, which I liked. Cafe caracas is described as soft and aromatic which I feel like it was. The portions of the food were pretty good and I felt full after. Both meals were very flavorful and would definitely get it again. When I look for coffee shops or breakfast places, I always appreciate decent amount of seating and outlets which this place had. The inside is beautiful with adequate seating both inside and outside. There were a lot of outlets and a big table with outlets as well. Great place to work, study or catch up with people.

Jen W.

Yelp
A cute little restaurant with a large menu selection! My friend and I ordered waffles, omelette, avocado toast, chai, coffee and chocolate mousse for to go. It wasn't crowded at all and our food came out fast. I absolutely loved their vanilla chai. However, their small cup was really tiny... next time I will definitely get a large. I can't wait to come back and try their lunch menu. Burgers and sandwiches all looked great!

Natalie P.

Yelp
Got the matcha latte! Honestly one of the best matchas I've had. It wasn't too sweet. And was well balanced.

Sina M.

Yelp
Crepe was burned. Caprese sandwich was watery. Super understaffed which is not the employees fault. However, if you can't serve mobile customers well don't take the orders online.

Rachael M.

Yelp
Delicious oat milk latte and lots of food items on the menu, including some really good looking vegan options.

Rob H.

Yelp
We ordered the Bagel Sandwich. When we went to take a bite, we noticed there was a used staple. This is unacceptable. If this wasn't found and it was eaten, there could be a lawsuit at hand. There isn't a customer service email on their website either, so we cannot place a formal complaint. Outrageous.

Debbie H.

Yelp
What a tasty and unique Maya spicy hot chocolate I enjoyed this morning along with a tasty dulce de leche croissant. My son had the Tiger Chai and the blueberry muffin. The drinks were fresh, appears to be made from clean ingredients and with TLC. This is not a rush in and get my drink establishment. They take the craft of making your drink seriously. The image on the top of the froth milk was creative, a piece of art. I didn't want to disrupt it with drinking the hot chocolate.
