"Formerly housed inside a Kickstarter-funded pub conversion, these days this proudly run restaurant forms part of the Court Colman Manor Hotel. It's a fine country house setting for the cooking, which comes in the form of a tasting menu or an à la carte. Seasonal Welsh produce is at the bedrock – from fine cheeses to luxury truffles – with the chefs delivering dishes that show ambition, backed up by sound understanding." - Michelin Inspector

Amazing venue for a wedding. Alison the wedding planner made sure my God Daughters wedding went without a hitch. The attention to details her and her team have is perfect. The table settings, the food served at both reception and evening was delicious! The sweeping staircase is stunning. The breakfast service is mouthwatering and plentiful. The rooms clean and comfortable. Will definitely return for a romantic stay.

Beautiful building set in a secluded spot with lovely views. Stunning grounds, ideal wedding venue. We booked a small double room and it was much nicer that we expected. Clean, nicely decorated and lots of traditional charm. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice. Nothing to criticise really. I’d only make a suggestion to the owners should they read this that perhaps a few more benches dotted throughout the grounds? We wanted to enjoy our drinks in the sun but the small amount of seating outside was all occupied. Will come back here again! Thanks to all the staff who made our stay a very pleasant one.

Such a lovely stay - the staff were absolute highlight, so genuine, attentive, helpful. Seemed to me that they enjoy working there which is a good sign. Stunning grounds, lovely building. Agree with some of the reviews that some decor could use updating but didn’t affect our stay one bit. Was lovely to be able to have our dogs there. The breakfast was lovely, the bed very comfy, the rooms clean, light and airy. Would recommend!

Romantic Getaway in a Historic Manor We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary with a night away at Court Colman Manor. The honeymoon suite was the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The spacious room featured a luxurious jacuzzi bath, which was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the bubbles and unwinding after a day of exploring the area. The staff at Court Colman Manor were attentive and friendly, making sure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and the historic charm of the manor added to the ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Court Colman Manor and would highly recommend it to couples looking for a romantic retreat.

The room had been newly decorated but was quite small in the attic and very warm. Nice modern decor in the room. A mini fridge would have been really excellent, but unfortunately there wasn’t one. ||The corridors are very dated and mismatching decor, and carpets worn. These areas need attention. ||Lovely building and grounds!

How can I ever thank you enough for what you have done for us!? When I say this was the most wonderful wedding ever, I mean that in a billion lifetimes I couldn't have dreamt something better. From the second we arrived for the Wedding Fayre and fell in love with the place, to the morning after our big day when we reluctantly had to leave, it was everything we wanted and more. Alison was incredible, thinking of every little detail and running a perfect day from start to finish with what was evidently months of hard work and planning. Everyone enjoyed. The staff were like something I would have expected for a celebrity or royalty! I felt like a princess all day and every single guest said the same, each and every one of you made our special day complete and we are eternally grateful. The venue, grounds, rooms, food, atmosphere, facilities and staff were magical. Truly magical and I think of that day all the time, it is one of my most treasured memories. I hope you know that a lifetime of happiness and joy started with your exceptional hospitality and dedication to your profession- I do not know of a single thing more I could have asked for. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the rest of my life.

We stayed here for the weekend 26/04-28/04/24 it was a surprise from my husband. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given our room key. The room was amazing nice and bright and lovely grey and white decor. The bathroom was lovely and we appreciated the ‘P’ shaped bath. Tea and coffee etc in the room was greatly appreciated. The beds were quite firm but comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely lush. I had eggs Benedict there was also full English and ‘on yesterdays bread’ sautéed mushrooms and poached egg. All 3 breakfasts were thoroughly enjoyed. We didn’t eat there in the evening so can’t comment on the food but going by the standard of breakfast it would be amazing. We took our dog with us too and they were very accommodating in that regard. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. 2nd night the boiler was on the wobble so we couldn’t have a bath but not a major problem these things can happen. |Will definitely return it’s so peaceful and quiet we had the best sleep and relax.

We were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, which fell on a Sunday. The Anniversary night B & B was a gift from the Court Colman Manor as we had our wedding there last year. The Hotel gets nothing out of giving away a free night other than a hopefully good review. So here goes:||Booking was really easy, the staff were as always hugely helpful, answering all our queries, as after all, you only get one first anniversary, and we wanted it to be special. So did they! We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by Happy Anniversary wishes. We wondered if the allocated room would be one of the "less special rooms" as it was a freeby, but that was not the case. We were given "The Moroccan" room. The room has been refurbished in the last year and is very nice, warm, comfortable and inviting. The bathroom however, is outstanding! There were petals all over the bed, and a super cute arrangement of towels, such as often found abroad, not so often in the UK. ||Breakfast the following morning was superb, and the staff had remembered us from our wedding as we remembered them also, so some happy memories were shared.||I am hoping that if not abroad, we will have many other anniversaries in this lovely old lady of an hotel. It's a very special place to us. They couldn't do enough for us at our wedding, and this continues in their customer service after the event. ||Heartfelt thanks to the whole team. Every one of you makes this a special place, not just front of house/guest facing staff. Everyone.||Thank you All x
