Google
Courtside Kitchen in Fort Worth has become my go-to spot for both pickleball and dining. The facility offers top-notch pickleball courts suitable for all skill levels, fostering a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the courts, the culinary offerings are impressive. One standout is the CK Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which I highly recommend. The staff, especially Matteo, consistently enhance the experience with their friendliness and attentiveness. Courtside Kitchen masterfully combines sports and gastronomy, making it a must-visit destination.

Google
I recently visited Courtside Kitchen for my first-ever pickleball experience, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to learn the game. The courts are well-maintained, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed to have a great time. After working up an appetite, we ate court side, and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The hot sauce added a perfect kick, and the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The only slight concern was the burger while tasty, the meat seemed a bit questionable in terms of freshness, but it was still enjoyable overall. One thing I loved is that they serve Coke, which is a nice touch for those who prefer it. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re there for the pickleball, the food, or both, Courtside Kitchen is a fun spot to hang out with friends. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Went for for a Friday night birthday dinner with my gf,sister and cousin. Made a reservation for 4 on the patio. Shout out to the host (didn’t catch his name) young guy that chatted us up when we arrived.he was very nice and accommodating. Told us about the place. We ended up sitting by the fire pit outside. Ordered drinks from the bartender outside who ended up being our server as well. She was great. Very chill atmosphere and not too loud so we could still talk around all the pickle ballers. Apps were delicious. We got the fried pickles and crispy shrimp. My gf and cousin got the fish&chips.fish was battered well and tasty. I got the wings and they were big but could’ve been crispier. My sis got the chicken sandwich and she left no crumbs. Definitely a cool spot to just chill and chat with friends. Also very decently priced for downtown. For 2 apps,3 alcohol bevs and 3 dinner plates it was still under $100. Good spot!

Google
Oh my goodness, what a phenomenal concept! Courtside Kitchen combines fantastic food with pickleball courts, so you can play before or after you eat, or just watch others while you enjoy your meal. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and though it was a bit hot outside, the food made it worth it. I just wish we had more places like this! I’d definitely come back.

Google
Stopped in yesterday hoping for brunch but missed the cutoff time for that and since it was a Monday (holiday) brunch wasn’t available. Quickly seated and server came around promptly. We ordered 2 Rosaritas, the 4 cheese grilled cheese plate, the funky town hot chicken sandwich and the Double Double. Grilled cheese was on sourdough which was delicious. Very strong cheese flavors and tasted good but was a bit much on the Parmesan cheese. Funky Town Hot chicken sandwich was wonderful. The slaw and pickles were a flavorful addition with just enough hot sauce on the chicken. The double double was well stacked, perfectly cooked, and wonderful. We also had regular fries and Parmesan fries and they were AWESOME! The parm fries had such great flavor, a nice amount of cheese and a great addition to the food. We didn’t do anything outdoors for pickleball but may give that a shot next go round.

I love coming here for lunch/dinner and some pickleball, such a good time for friends and family. You just need to make sure to reserve your court. I love Court 7 the most since it’s covered, there are a few that aren’t.

Google
Visiting town for a conference, and Courtside seemed like a great option to eat and play. This place is amazing. The aesthetic feels like a private tennis club. The food was delicious, and great service. Would definitely recommend.

Google
Food is fantastic!!!! Which was totally unexpected. Plus the service was on point. We always had someone there tending to all our needs. Highly recommend their hummus app. And chicken Caesar salad. Only reason for one star short of five was the price for pickle seemed steep. $40/hr. On the weekends.

Yelp
I have been working with Michelle since the summer of 2024. It started with a group lesson and Michelle encouraged me to sign up for the ladies beginner league (something way outside of my comfort zone!) and I'm so glad she did. With her guidance and encouragement, I have thrived in my league. I even started private lessons with Michelle. Michelle is excellent in her craft and knows when to push you and knows when to let you learn on your own. She's kind, patient, listens really well and very smart about what she does. I'm now in an intermediate league and I couldn't have done it without Michelle. If you are curious about pickleball, don't hesitate to check out courtside kitchen! And if you're looking for the best instructor, book a session with Michelle.

Yelp
Courtside Kitchen is just FUN FUN FUNW... whether you play pickleball, or just visit for the EXCELLENT food & beverage menu. FOOD: sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, apps... all are TASTY. BEVERAGE: Plenty of options, including seasonal beers. ACTIVITIES: Pickleball courts can be reserved (& equipment brought or rented), outdoor Connect Four, many MANY TVs to watch. SEATING: A lot of indoor & outdoor tennis tables. SERVICE: Attentive & kind & give great menu recommendations. LOCATION: Parking is a challenge due to adjacency to University Village, but just be patient bc you'll find a spot. Building ambience is bright & open, what I call "rustic-functional," super clean. RECOMMENDATIONS: Hummus to start, Italian sandwich (warmed)... tastes like a muffaletta (if you know, you know), AND Kale salad. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great Father's Day lunch and pickleball time with the family. We arrived at 1:45pm for a late lunch. Shared some lemon pepper wings and nachos with chicken. Wings were very well made and the nachos were neatly loaded for ease of eating. Husband had the huevos rancheros that he says were decently made. I had the funky chicken with French toast off the brunch menu. Perfectly crispy chicken on a piece French toast...sweet and savory. Served was attentive. Food was overall well done. There are also pickleball courts to reserve. Great options of shaded and open court options. Equipment can be rented for an extra fee. On this sizzling day, the igloos of ice water were much needed. Servers were also attentive Courtside. Very pleasant place for a family gathering of all ages. The only thing I wish they had were some way to block the balls flying from other courts. It sucks to interrupt other courts in play. P.S. If you're sensitive to EMFs, know that this restaurant is at the base of a 5G tower. Headaches, racing heartbeat, be ready to feel it all.

April S.

Yelp
The place is very cool. Reservations for pickle ball should be made ahead if arrival to ensure getting a court. We had kids and they were able to play table tennis (ping pong) for free. We saw corn hole in pictures on Yelp but we were unable to find them outside. Waitress was slow and drink order took a bit of time as did the placing of our order. I did appreciate that the kids food came out first. I tried one of the fries and they were pretty good. The adults ordered nachos, poke bowl, tuna tornados, grilled cheese with fries. I enjoyed my food. Service was slow and I had to ask for drink refills and our check to leave. I would go back again.

Trevor C.

Yelp
Average service...average food...and watch out for the 22% automatic gratuity on parties larger than 6 even if some those don't eat or drink anything. Won't be coming back and happily will be going to chicken N pickle instead.

Julie T.

Yelp
The place is so nice and yet casual. The staff is well trained and very friendly. Our drinks were spot on. The food was so good we just kept eating until we didn't need a to go box. That's a first. There was outdoor seating and tons of pickle ball courts. We will be back when we are close to the Ft Worth zoo area. Cudo's to the concept and execution

Starr H.

Yelp
I have been to court side kitchen multiple times! Pickleball wise- I love that the courts are heated & have fans. And a ton of courts for the small Spaces However The food & employees..or lack of employees. Every time I go we have to hunt down and employee to get help but this time.. This time we made reservations for 8:30 Saturday morning.. we waited about 10 mins in the lobby and searched the whole building to find single family Employee. The whole hour we played we saw ONE employee. We didn't get the chance to Order a food, drinks or coffee. We tried finding the single employee two other times after check in to ask about turning the heaters on & about maybe ordering, but he was never to be seen again. Quite disappointing.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Such an awesome place to play some pickleball. The food here is great too. Had the brunch burger and parm fries which was delicious and was recommended by our waiter who was so attentive to us and kept asking if we needed anything. Great service and such a homey feel to the whole place. Will definitely be coming back to play and eat!!!

Scott N.

Yelp
Have came here a few times with friends. Both times the food was very good. We all ordered different items and appetizers both times and all were prepared very well and tasty. Food is presented well on the plates. Out of the three couples none of us had had a complaint about the food. They offer a very nice beverage selection with top shelf liquor. The BlackBerry Bourbon Smash is a group favorite. Have asked them to make the New Fashion with the Blackland Distillery Texas Pecan and Brown Sugar bourbon. Turned out very well and has become another favorite of the group. The pickle ball courts are nice and well laid out. Can rent a court, paddles and ball by the hour. This is a fun night out for food and drinks with friends or family.

LisanAbel V.

Yelp
Great brunch menu and service priced right. We timed our reservation at the right time to enjoy the atmosphere with friends.

Regina M.

Yelp
We love the inside decor and the outside patio area. It's all very relaxing and fun to watch the pickleball in action while you eat and enjoy your lunch or dinner. We were sad that they removed our favorite, chicken enchiladas, from the menu . I also hope for them that they can up their game on their dinner menu and attract people into their beautiful dining room just for dinner, no pickleball involved. It's an upscale take on pickleball restaurants, ( I have yet to play pickleball, but we love to visit this restaurant frequently). It's a hidden gem

Y B.

Yelp
Nice place for indoor/outdoor dining. Watch pickleball from any seat inside/outside and the bar. Friendly staff. Vanessa was very informative and attentive. The Vaquero burger and Parmesan fries were very tasty along with the flatbread. Nice glass of bubbly and Margarita Monday made for a refreshing Monday. Great for pickleball, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks. Will return to play pickleball soon.

Yelp
I stopped by Courtside Kitchen for brunch while I was in town. The place was super cute, offering pickle-ball court rentals (makes sense for the name of the restaurant haha). I definitely would've loved to come to play a few rounds but we came for a dining table instead. The brunch menu offered an array of items, from Mexican influenced meals to more traditional items such as Benedicts. I personally went with the breakfast sandwich. The food honestly took a whileee to come out, especially for a restaurant that wasn't super packed at the time. My sandwich was packed with avocado, bacon, and a fried egg. It was yummy but I was expecting a bit more flavor to it. The fries on the side were also a bit salty for my liking - I found myself brushing the salt off them. I really wish I could say I loved this spot. It was definitely a super cute brunch place but the food just missed the mark for me.

Zoe M.

Yelp
A literal courtside kitchen, good food with the entertainment of playing some pickle ball! It's a very cute spot and we were all happy with our food! The pimento cheese appetizer was delicious. We tried several brunch items! Loved the omelet and potatoes. The biscuits and gravy proportionally needed more gravy, but that's an easy fix! Very clean inside! I personally felt as if the portion sizes could've been larger when it came to the meals, but we were overall satisfied and would happily come back!

Gary F.

Yelp
A new concept...sports bar, restaurant and pickle ball Megaplex! We didn't eat but the food I saw looked good. I didn't know what to expect but was blown away by the size of the facility, the amount of activity that was happening, the size of the restaurant, the number of seating areas to simply sit and chat, or watch tv. The atmosphere was upbeat, a bit loud with the music, and took a minute for me to settle in as I was playing. I think there was a league going on and there was a lot of movement on all sides of the court which distracted me a bit initially. It is a great venue and a fun place. If you enjoy pickle ball, it is certainly a place you should try. They have done a excellent job with a concept I had not seen before. If I lived in Ft Worth, this would be a regular place for me to visit!

Andrea D.

Yelp
Good food, great ambience and service. Great place to just relax and enjoy good food and wine indoors or out.

Clayton B.

Yelp
First and foremost, great place for pickleball, all but one court is covered and are all in great shape. Gorgeous large interior seating area as well as a large wraparound bar inside. Large seating area outdoors as well as plenty of TVs both inside and out. Had brunch after the Saturday mix n match they have and I got the hot chicken and French toast. The chicken was a boneless breast fried to perfection and the slice of French toast was thick, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Served with hot sauce butter and maple syrup this dish was a 9.8/10. Great place to come play pickleball, have a few drinks and hangout.

Christie N.

Yelp
Great Atmosphere, service, food & drinks! Large indoor space to eat. Multiple courts outside with majority of them covered. Numerous outdoor sitting areas for lounging with TVs galore, heaters & fire pits. You must go!

Aaron M.

Yelp
Nice hidden gem. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Dining area wasn't very busy but the pickle ball court that's another story. They were booked all afternoon. Pickle ball courts look nice with covered area. Food is not bad. Not very many vegan options but there kale salad is really good. Their power bowl is not bad and they perhaps can easily make it vegan. Their chicken and waffle looked outstanding. They also have a bar area with tvs. Customer service most of the workers are young and not experienced but not bad and you can tell they try. Everyone is very nice. Dining area is spacious since it want crowded.

Stacy H.

Yelp
Awesome spot! Free golden tee kept kids happy! Cucumber fizz drink is so good- add tejin to rim! Great service and fun vibe.

Alli A.

Yelp
Incredible atmosphere, plenty of pickleball courts and great music! Food and cocktails are also absolutely delicious with efficient service! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity for a couple hours!

Reigh E.

Yelp
The ambiance is pretty cute but the food is just okay. We both tried a poke bowl and it was kinda mushy and something about it just didn't feel as fresh as I like. It's a good place to come and play pickle ball and have some snacks but I just would like slightly better food quality.

Solomon N.

Yelp
I love the place the drinks the environment. However Sabastian the bartender lied about what my girlfriend said to get us to tip more and that was ridiculous. Literally I bought him a shot earlier in the night, my girl sneaks in and pays 50% of the tab and he preselects 22% tab and says "oh it's because your boyfriend won't tip more" or something close and then when I went to to pay and was surprised he says to me "your girl said that she tips more". I have 3 witnesses to this. He preselected 22% on two of my friends tabs. Total manipulative prick

Samantha M.

Yelp
My friends and I love this place! We come quite often to play pickleball. We always get the hummus appetizer and margaritas. Highly recommend!

Regina L.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at Courtside Kitchen! The service was top-notch, and the drinks were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making it an enjoyable evening. I highly recommend trying it out!

Marica M.

Yelp
The actual place is really cool. I love that you can order drinks and play at the same time. However, the food was good but definitely not something to write home about. It was just regular bar food to me.

V1bram B.

Yelp
Stopped in to play pickle ball. We first made the reservation online and that made it easier when getting to the court area to check in. The courts and the restaurant are close to each other making it easier to order. We had lunch after the game and our grilled cheese and Cuban sandwiches were really good. The staff was friendly and we had a great time.

Vianey F.

Yelp
Ok so this place is fun to celebrate or just to get together and have some fun but let's just say it takes forever to get a drink. We came to a birthday party and we were a party of 10 with two courts rented, we had to go look for our server to order food and we got our food before our drinks. The experience was great with family and friends but service from our server was poor. Also, it was very cold that night so it would be nice if they had outside heaters. We'll definitely give it another chance in the summer! :)

Getth N.

Yelp
2 star deduction for the absolutely awful sewage smell I endured the entire time. The whole place screams 5 star, incredible experience, but when I smell sewage the whole time, all I wanted to do was leave. All 3 stars go to the courts, and the pickle ball. After going inside, I refused to go back in. The smell is bad y'all Update: I'm standing by my two 3 star review. That awful unbearable odor wasn't enough to shut business down, and nobody was apologetic about it. Just the stance of "deal with it". You still charged full price for everything and I spent a lot of money not wanting to be there.

Tyler C.

Yelp
The actual place is AMAZING. But AVOID Sabastian as your bartender. He will try to swindle you by saying "are you going to tip me as much as your boyfriend is?" when I asked to split the bill with my boyfriend. And then he told my boyfriend that IM the one who said he shouldn't tip more. Sabastian is sneaky and conniving and you should NOT let him be you bartender here. Avoid him at all costs because he's a a liar.

Leah F.

Yelp
It was fun and clean. The food is well priced. The food was actually really good. The cocktails are great and the service is good. If I could only make one suggestion, they need to keep up with the bussing of past tables and guest... Because when we were playing there were cups and everything everywhere on the sideline tables... We will be back

C. C.

Yelp
Cool new spot in Ft Worth by TCU. Met some college friends over the weekend. Great food, frozen drinks were awesome, buckets of beers and seltzers were convenient. Could have played for another hour but courts were filling up, we'll be back for sure another time. Service was very helpful, management and other staff stopped by to check on us. They also had water stations set out, you can also book 5 days out on their CourtReserve app! Will be back for sure.

Allison M.

Yelp
ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITE SPOTS!! Everything about this place is so great. The staff is outstanding, the food is so good (the grilled cheese is unreal), and the drinks are . I got the Frosé and holy moly. The atmosphere there just makes me happy and I love how they have seating both inside and outside. I cannot hype this place up enough!!

Spence S.

Yelp
The pickle ball courts are really fun, well kept and a great additions. That's it for the good news. I went with 6 family members, 4 adults, 3 kids. Drinks were fine, but amazingly, not one food item was good. Fries cold and soggy, even after being replaced. The poke bowl rice was mushy on the outside, crunchy in the middle...how do you do that? It didn't matter as the poke wasn't worth eating anyway. None of our items were worth eating. Go for the pickle ball, leave before you're hungry.

Jim C.

Yelp
Our group of 4 made a reservation for 11:15 on Thursday, 3/16, to specifically to watch the NCAA basketball tournament games. DeeAnna was our waitress.  After we sat, I told her we would be here for awhile having snacks, drinks and lunch watching several NCAA Tournament basketball games.  She was Great!   My issue was with other staff members at the front desk. As games started at various times (11:15, 11:40, 12:40 and 1:00).  The four TVs in the main dining were on other channels. We asked the staff to put on the first games of the day as they started. They accommodated initially. Then after two games had ended, we asked for the channel to be changed to the games just starting.  That is when we were told that we were changing channels too much and that they couldn't/wouldn't change them any more.   I asked for the General Manager's name (Jeff Day) and his cell number. We got our check, paid our tab and left   We are now at another location watching the games.  I also immediately sent a text to Jeff and have yet to receive any response. FYI, from the time we arrived at 11:15, the ONLY other diners in the restaurant were one 4-top and two 2-tops, period.   As a former restaurant/bar manager, this type of service is inexcusable.   We will NOT be back. If/when your establishment's name comes up in a conversation,  our review will not be a favorable one. Jim Clinkscales

Graysen C.

Yelp
Really fun place to play pickle ball, drink, and eat! The bartender was so helpful and knowledgable. He had top-notch customer service, waiting on us "hand-and-foot." The front desk worker who gave us our court, pickle ball paddles, and pickle ball was very kind and informative as well. Food is amazing. The hamburger & fries are incredibly tasty. Pickle ball is very fun to play! Everyone was really kind, handing our ball back if it went in our court. It is pretty pricey on drinks and food, as well as pickle ball; however if money isn't an issue- GO! Happy hour is a better time to ordee drinks at a reasonable price

Steve A.

Yelp
This is a fun place for anyone. Food is great, lunch, dinner or brunch. Watch some pickle ball while you eat or reserve your own court. Gene puts together a great program for all levels of play. Tournaments, Round Robins, lessons. Gene is great at judging skill and matching people up that can have a great, competitive game. Get involved and meet other people that share the love of Pickle Ball.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Food was good however it took about 40 minutes to get our food, it was not busy, only about 3-4 tables plus ours. We had brunch, so biscuits and gravy, pancakes, salad, and our fried pickles showed up last after our meal. Will try again

Marcie O.

Yelp
TLDR- great food, ok drinks, pickleball was a blast, will come with a smaller group next time. ************ Came here with a group of 21 people for a birthday celebration and we had a blast. We rented two courts for two hours and our waiter explained to us how to play Pickleball. He was super attentive to our large group and everyone had a great time. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be returning, although not with such a large group next time. Large Groups - they took our reservation two months in advance which was great. We had so much fun but I don't think I would return with such a large group. They couldn't split the check (for obvious reasons - we had more than 20 people) so our options were to split the check evenly between everyone or put it all on one card and figure it out after. I paid the total on my card and friends Venmo'd me for their food and drinks. This would be a great place to come with a small group of 6-8 people but I probably wouldn't do another party here. Food - I didn't order any food but a ton of people in our group did and it looked delicious. The grilled cheese looked amazing and I actually tried a bite of the grilled chicken BLT and it was good. They also have my favorite type of fries. Drinks - this is the one area I was not impressed. I tried the frozen mule and it tasted really bad. Several people tried a sip (wanted to make sure it wasn't just me) and everyone agreed it just wasn't good. I returned it for a frozen rose which I also didn't like (other people did like that one though so that was a "just me" type of thing). I gave it away to a friend and ordered a margarita on the rocks which was ok but not amazing. So not my favorite drinks, but others seemed to enjoy what they ordered and I'll admit I'm picky when it comes to my drinks. Ambience/Cost/Pickleball Experience - SO fun and such great ambience. The courts have twinkle lights and there was live music right next to our court on an outdoor patio that a private group had rented. I don't know if there's always live music on the weekends or if we just benefited from the private event happening, but we really enjoyed it either way! The courts cost $40/hour, plus our equipment rental was $20. We were also charged $30 for staff support and 22% gratuity was added to our check. (Our waiter pointed this out to me which I really appreciated. I would have noticed anyway but I appreciate when waiters point out that gratuity has already been added.) The $30 was the cost of having courtside service; we didn't actually have any tables, just sat at the bar around our two courts. So it cost $30 for us to be served out there. We didn't realize there was going to be an additional charge for that. I don't know if that's always the case or if it was just because we had such a large group, but it's definitely something to ask about because the cost of renting courts, equipment, and service out there can quickly addy up. The cost is not prohibitive but it definitely will be a "special occasion" place because it's too much to come play on a regular basis. Overall though we had a great time and I will definitely be back! I'm excited to bring my mom and siblings next time they are in town.

Chris P.

Yelp
They a little weird to you if you ain't white but jade the bartender was super helpful and cool.

Dave S.

Yelp
Went today for lunch, had the Funky Town Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was surprisingly good! It comes with a side and I opted for the Tomato Soup, WOW, it was great. Really good food....but, or waitress disappeared for long periods of time. My Iced Tea glass was empty twice, again for too long. We will be back. The food and vibe was really nice!

Teresa G.

Yelp
if you are going to play pickle ball or have drinks you are going to love it. The food was just ok though. ill probably only go to play next time.

Michele M.

Yelp
We've been waiting for an hour.... Placed food order 45 minutes ago. Still waiting for food! Already went through our drinks.... Watching the people play is a good distraction. But, now we're going to be late for our next engagement.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
We love coming here. But the service is not great. It's so slow. The staff is usually huddled up talking while you're waiting for your food drinks or check. Staff is friendly food is good, courts nice and clean. Everyone is friendly but SLOOOOOW.

Lauren Z.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here for my birthday! Im obsessed with the Pimento cheese and hummus appetizer! The coconut rum drink was incredible! Our server never came to our court so I had to go to the bar-top to get help. It took a long time to get our drinks and our server rarely returned. The vibe and crowd were awesome for a family friendly day. However the brick columns between the Courts were very dangerous. One of my friends bumped into one and hurt his side and another player on another court got injured as well. We ordered the pork special and enjoyed it but one of my friends never got his meal.

Josh R.

Yelp
We went to this place over the weekend with friends to try our hand at pickle ball. The outside staff was prompt and friendly. Once our allocated time ran out, we elected to go inside for dinner. Unfortunately the waitstaff were not as attentive. After being seated we requested water, but never received it. We flagged another server down and requested water which they promptly brought over. After another 30 minutes we had to get the attention of upper management so that we could place our order. Eventually, our original server returned and apologized for "forgetting" us. The apology was somewhat hollow since they were regularly at an immediately adjacent table. Although, we enjoyed playing pickle ball the evening was dampened by the lackluster service in the dining area.

Austin M.

Yelp
Came to play pickle ball. Had a great time. Happy hour is awesome- half off bottles of wine and $4 draft. Waiters came over often and were great. They brought out a sparkler with our wine which was a great touch. We had dinner after playing and all of the sandwiches were very good. Highly recommend for a quick workout, drinks, and meal

Yelp
Super cute atmosphere and really fun looking spot. The drinks are great and I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it looked amazing
