Good restaurant. A bit pricey for lunch. Esp for just iced tea drinks. Was so very loud. (Not their fault, just letting customers know) Did not care for the small 2 person table. Too tight of seating. No room for meals and drinks. I would recommend on their less busy times.

I went there with my family and we had to wait 40 minutes which wasn't to bad to start off with. But when we were seated we had ordered three French onion soups that were late undercooked which had to be sent back and we had ordered 3 pizzas. Where the first small pizza came out fairly quick, but the second pizza we got was over cooked and took forever to come out, and lastly we never got the last pizza. But the only redeeming event was that the sweet server decided that, that wasn't good enough and got us our pizza to go within under 5 minutes. She truly saved the experience.

The patio is very nice but you can’t reserve a table and often have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. My strawberry salad was pathetic…maybe 2-3 strawberries cut into small pieces, a few walnuts and a few pieces of feta. My husband’s chicken sandwich was disgusting. It was piled so high with spinach he had to take it off the sandwich and it filled an entire plate. Presentation is as important as taste but what a turn-off! We won’t be returning.

An old favorite. Nice weather so we sat outside. Had a new waitress who had a co-waiter helping out and they were terfific terrific got a ceasar salad which h was lackluster. French bread is always amazing and my nephew got pizza which he said was great.

Let me start with how cute and awesome the lay out of the place is. Their food and service is so good that we did not get a chance to take any food pictures. We immediately dived into eating and enjoying it. It was after food that I thought to take pictures of the place for a reference point. Everyone was super nice, the prices are reasonable. For one person, the meal can cost up to $25-$30 which honestly is not bad, given the current environment. So I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone else that they go there.

It’s always a pleasure coming here with my family. I usually order the steak with mushrooms and twice baked potatoes, and it consistently comes out just right. While it may not be the best steak in the world, it’s always an enjoyable treat.

So nice to sit outside! So happy they accept reservations! Had a nice dinner with good cocktails. Salmon was good. Something on the menu for everyone! Katie was a great server.

Stopped in Courtyard for a quick bite to eat and we just missed the rush. We were seated quickly at a booth for 2 and about 10 minutes later a large line flooded to the doorway all the way from the hostess stand. This place is filled with charm and definitely has their fair share of regulars and a charming following from the city. I have been here a few times but this was my first time back since the reopening. For the most part the service is friendly, sometimes it can feel a bit rushed from the times I have been in here and the staff can come across as being short with you but they tend to get busy so it is understandable for the most part. The menu at the Courtyard is HUGE. There is a ton of options to choose from. The prices may seem a bit pricy but I honestly think they are good for the portion sizes and you definitely get your moneys worth. We got the french onion soup which was delish and had a good ratio of all the ingredients. The salad was great and the steak was cooked to perfection. I was not a big fan of the garlic bread as it lacked flavor and felt a bit slapped together but that is okay as it is a side. The personal pizza was awesome and was loaded with toppings. The only downside to ordering the pizza is it does take awhile as it is made to order so be prepared to be waiting a hot minute if you do decide to order one. Nonetheless, worth the wait! If you are in the area and craving some comfort food or just want a menu with a little bit of everything, this is a good place to come to. They get real busy in the evening so I would recommend a call ahead if possible and for sure one if you have a large party! :)

We waited over an 1 hour for our food and we have some where to be and when we asked they said another 10 minutes which our event starts in less than an hour so we paid for our drinks and left I would not recommend this place

So glad this restaurant is back open after a kitchen fire. It's a favorite spot of ours. Friendly staff. Food always excellent. Devoted and friendly staff. Most have been there for years. Had the grilled lunch grouper with vegetables and rice. A cranberry orange muffin. Way too much food and took the leftovers home for another meal.

We arrived at approximately 5:45pm on a Friday night, seated immediately near the kitchen area. The noise was ridiculously loud, with plates and silverware sounding as though it was thrown about to make as much noise as possible. You literally had to shout to be heard. This place always has a good customer cliental, coming and going, which after our visit I wonder why. My husband and I ordered the 10 oz. Strip steaks, his medium and mine rare, both overcooked, as well as the mixed vegetables. Rice and potato spud were both good, as well as the bread, which was nice and warm. For the price paid, the steaks should have been cooked as ordered. The waitress was friendly and courteous, asked how everything was, we accepted it as prepared, rather than put anything on her as she was quite busy. I might add that they tag on a 3% credit card fee automatically to the tab, had I not paid close attention, I would have based our tip on that total, rather than the sub-total with tax, since we paid with cash.

Great variety of food. Prices are reasonable and staff is very efficient and friendly. It's got a "Cheers" type atmosphere. It's THE place for locals to go to eat!

Welcome back are the first words I heard as I entered the restaurant. The service is terrific, thanks Steve! Even though I wasn't in your section you noticed what I needed. The food was really good and the family enjoyed all of it. The place looks like the Courtyard and we are so fortunate to have you back!

Mussels were very tasty with a good sauce to soak up with the nice fresh hot bread. The Grouper was a bit overcooked but not that much to return. Added a little butter to it and it was fine. Good place. I will return when I stay in the area.

Favorite local neighborhood spot that doesn't disappoint. Have been going over ten years. A place where everyone knows your name.

I love this little place that's tucked in the corner of the Brecksville Town Center. I had the chicken fiesta which is grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed diced tomatoes, scallions, melted cheddar and jack cheeses and served on a rice pilaf. It was absolutely fantastic. They also have different daily breads and muffins. The blueberry muffin is so good. My guest had the pizza. I tried a piece and it was very good. I'm starting to think every meal here is delicious. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice community restaurant, not the best food or the best service but adequate for a neighborhood restaurant It's very loud and conversations at your table aren't easy but all in all a decent restaurant for a nice meal

Excellent food and service! We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive. I ordered the strawberry salad with chicken. The salad was super yummy. The chicken was tender and seasoned well for the salad. The spinach and strawberries were very fresh. Excellent balance of ingredients to the spinach and meat. Liked the dressing too. Get the banana nut muffin with this salad. Great accompaniment! My friend enjoyed her wrap! Liked the ingredients inside and the wrap itself wasn't dry. The server checked on us frequently and thanked us for eating at Courtyard Cafe!

Food is always great. Portions are large. Tastes like real home cooked meals. Service is always excellent. Very friendly staff.

I have tried many different selections from their menu including salads, burgers, seafood. I would have to say one of my favorites and what they seem to be known for is their chicken salad sandwich. It is so good! I'm not a fan of slivered almonds, but somehow I manage to eat this sandwich with them on it. Ha ha my son's favorite is their chicken pesto sandwich, which is huge! Always a good choice, always busy there.

Great food and a welcoming atmosphere! Patio dining is available, weather permitting. Beautiful bar located in middle of dining room with plenty of booths and tables surrounding it. We got there before the dinner rush, at about 4:45pm and there was plenty of room throughout the restaurant. By the time we left at approximately 7pm the dining room was completely full and there was a line of people on a wait list. Potato skins filled with provolone and mushrooms are absolutely amazing! Big enough portion to feed two adults snd still have leftovers. Simply delicious. Our server Krista was the best! Friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. She made our dining experience a great one I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A walk through the Courtyard to find what's totally good you so know that it's worth the walk either way as you'll end up at the Cafe this some say always makes for the very best day! Coming here I already knew it would be good why's this you ask? Well my friend Matt said he's been coming here for many many years and it's like his family's go to spot so when a friend says that to you they really can't be wrong! So to start we got fried pickles basically one of my favorite things on the planet and here they were no exception as they were totally delicious and more like little spears as you don't usually see them done this way the pickles also came with a side of this wasabi dipping sauce that just totally made them that much better in every way! Of the many delicious sounding choices I had to go with the pesto chicken sandwich as that just sounded good at the time and let me assure you it was awesome piled high with spinach on a good sized grilled chicken breast with a pesto sauce that had the the right amount of zest to it in every bite! Our service was awesome as they were super friendly and quick to bring us anything we needed the food was out in great time and the whole experience was super yummy and just mellow! Overall this is an awesome little hidden spot in the corner of a strip mall so don't overlook it as if you do you'll be missing out on some delicious goodness as it's for this reason I'm sure I'll be back here again with my friend Matt sometime soon!

Can't believe I've never been here! Came in for lunch on a Monday- place was hoping! Neat design and layout of the bar and dining room. Almost like a train station. Was quickly seated and served. Ordered the grilled chicken club wrap. Asked for the chicken to be buffaloed, but was told they don't have buffalo sauce. Odd, but okay. It was great nonetheless. Had an order of coleslaw as well which was also most excellent. Buddy had a chopped salad that was HUGE! Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Very broad menu. Lunch seafood portions are as delicious as they are unusual. Staff is well trained and veteran-very solid and work well together. It's a cozy place with lots of local history on the walls. Patio is special during the season

Went for dinner with my wife, terrible service non attentive. Ordered a second glass of wine, never showed up, wanted another plate to share pizza, never showed up, mediterrean pizza was not good, artichoke hearts were hard as a rock. Bad service. Anniversary dinner gone bad.

Well, I've decided recently that I'm not a super fan of this location. Disappointing, since it's within walking distance. It's just that it's very typical American food. If you're in to standard fare, then this place is for you. Most recently we ordered a caprese appetizer. The tomatoes were tasteless and it had no dressing. Not even a drizzle of olive oil. They do have tasty muffins, though, that we'll grab for take out at the register. I'm sure many folks would disagree with my review as evidenced by the hordes of people that go there.

Excellent food and service. Cute space. Courtyard had live dinner music nearby outside. We even took grown children next day to try it. Everyone was happy.

I absolutely loved my first visit to the courtyard cafe. It was jammin on a Tuesday around noon. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff know what they're doing. And last but not least the food is amazing. I'll be back!

Solid place to grab lunch with a wide variety of options. I like that they have a little bit of everything so that you can have something no matter what mood your in. Large indoor seating area and out door seating also available on a deck. I have tried their lobster bisque, a side salad, braised beef short rib, buffalo calamari salad and a burger here. Again the variety is great and although all different items, they were all good. There is also a large desert case that always has very good looking deserts in it. I have never tried them but they look good. Worth checking out.

We go here a couple times a month now. Reasonably priced and consistently above average food. Wait staff is friendly, place is clean and food comes out fairly quickly. Love the fresh muffins and bread that come with your meal. Been around since I was a kid for a reason.

I always love Courtyard. Recently I've been trying other things on their menu, and they're all really good! More than anything I like the Courtyard burger, vegetable wrap, all of their desserts which are fantastic, cream soda in the bottle, muffins and a lot more. They have a good salad, garlic bread, seafood selection and generally everything else on the menu. It's all delectable.

Greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within a few minutes. Server was great and on the ball. We had a beautiful huge salad, I could hardy finish it, and the bread was great. My friend had the Courtyard sandwich and a side of fries. She loved the sandwich, but the portion of fries was way to large. Nice meal, we will be back soon.

Best restaurant ever. Deserves a Michelin star IMHO. I go at least once a week. Obviously.

Great local place has been around forever. Food is always quality staff is attentive . Restaurant is always busy should speak to quality of food. You won't be disappointed in options. Love there fish and my favorite French onion soup in the area.

Yummy place! Always packed. Make sure you have time to wait before going here. Baked French Onion Soup Au Gratin is sooooo gooood!

Great food served hot . Service was also excellent . We were a group of eight . All orders were correct and everyone was completely satisfied with their meals . I highly recommend everyone should visit this restaurant .

My husband and I went here for lunch today and both of us were disappointed with our sandwiches. I got the French dip and he got the Swiss Alpine. Both of our sandwiches contained roast beef which was underwhelming. Pretty sure it was lunch meat. Like others comments, our food was so bland. The au jus for my sandwich tasted like a can of Campbell's consommé . Gave 3 stars because it was edible, just had zero flavor. Definitely will not return.

I was a bit upset about our food although the waitress was really nice to us. It took a couple hours to get the food but I think it tasted good. It was a bit cold but the desert was great! If you have time on your hands this be the place if you don't mind waiting

Called on a Saturday night, was told that they seat till 9:30. Drove there from Cleveland and walked in at 9:10, was told that they "closed early due to lack of business" although I explained that I called and was told 9:30. Went back during a weekday around 5pm and was able to dine here finally. We had their ribs (amazing) and beet salad which came with a lemon poppyseed muffin that was fantastic. Service was also friendly and attentive. Would have been 5 stars if it was not for their arbitrary closing time.

Had a great lunch on a cold wet Monday. We asked for our soups and salad/sandwich to come together and they did. The food was casual American comfort food, and really good. Entrees included some fish and meat dishes. The menu was extensive, and the restaurant was cozy and busy. The decor is fun with the walls covered with historical and fun pictures/posters. This is a nice come-as-you-are spot in a shopping center.

Ate here tonight and the food and service were great! Our server Bella was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She let us know about all the daily specials and made sure we were well taken care of! The food was delicious and had generous portion sizes.

If you're in the Broadview Heights/Brecksville area then The Courtyard Cafe is a restaurant you must eat at. I personally don't think that any other restaurant can't beat the quality and service! I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed with a meal. From their signature dishes to their daily specials you will leave wanting to come back the next day. I recommend getting the muffin of the day for a side with any meal. The muffins are made fresh daily and very on the day! I have nothing but good things to say about The Courtyard Cafe.

The food is always on point and the service is great! They are popular so it can be a wait sometimes at peak hours but it's well worth it.
