Our air conditioner died so we needed a place to stay for 5 days. The basic room was great. The desk had a rolling table underneath, so it could be pulled out and used as a desk when sitting on the couch. The hotel is off the main street and is quiet. The strip mall to the north has a few restaurants. You have to pay for breakfast at the hotel, but they do have free coffee.

Google
This is a dated property, our king bed room was dark with few lights and there wasn’t a single USB charging port to be found anywhere. Wifi and breakfast are not free of charge, and the “bistro” scheme for serving breakfast seems contrived. Our room was tidy with no bad odors, but if you look too close, you’ll see that housekeeping doesn’t bother with cleaning the corners of rugs and floors. Our interactions with the staff were pleasant and we had no problems when we made requests for things like extra towels.

We had to get a room the same day and we ended up finding a deal for this hotel online. We were presently surprised at how nice it was. Staff here is excellent and the facility was clean and well maintained.

Honestly... im difficult to please. I know this. My lady knows this. My mother assured this in my upbringing. That being said. The bed was comfortable the room was clean and nobody gave me any guff at the pool/jacuzzi. That's about all I ask for. I was worried slightly about my car because a friend told me right after I booked that his car was broken into when he'd stayed here last year. Luckily when I arrived I saw a security guard mid patrol which eased my mind greatly. Obviously still lock your cars and arm your alarm systems. But apparently they have security here now. Which tells me they saw the issue and fixed it instead of ignoring it. Last note... the coffee was pretty damn good in the morning. Admittedly didn't try any food. But the coffee was solid.

Courtyard by Marriott You get a free cup of coffee and no breakfast even if you are a globalist! My coffee was warm so I had to pay seven dollars for a small upgraded coffee from Starbucks! The next day I ended up driving to Circle K so I can get a hot cup of coffee for the word manufacturing $2.49, extra large! Although the employees seem nice like Joshua and Sherbet, I did have my concern with Joshua. I am a globalist, and even though I have in my notes, I like to stay on the highest floor away from the elevator. I usually text ahead of time to make sure my request Can be completed. I text correspondence with him when we got there. We had to change rooms. I was on a high floor, but next to the elevator and stairwell. Why do people not listen? Upon arrival I was not greeted as a globalist, and I’ve worked really hard to establish That. On the other hand, the only interaction I had was sherbet was good. My room was good, the bed was comfortable although the fan, air conditioning is extremely loud, also they have loud slamming locking doors, the shower was poor! I do like that they had the soft closing toilet lids, lol, but that is an upgrade. I did notice the carpets are extremely dirty. All in all it is a good location for us and we would probably stay there again nothing fancy. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Well I understand that room don’t come with bottle of water to drink most hotel do that. But no water dispenser at the gym ( They use to have one but took it off) When I asked staff at the check in counter, he said we don’t have water dispenser but we have water for sale. !

Google
Super clean, quiet, and friendly + helpful staff. All around perfectly decent, standard hotel! The negative reviews are ridiculous. Some people are so picky. 'ohh the building is old!' It's modern and normal, like what? It's also within walking distance of tons of great restaurants, would recommend the vietnamese pho place right next door.

Google
Rude front staff, room was dirty, carpet and furniture dirty and stained, hallway smelled of cigarettes, maid service only every other day, pet hair was apparent in the room (we asked for a no-pet room), coffee (Starbucks) machine in breakfast room was not functioning, heating/cooling of room was uncontrolled (hot then cold all night long), and while I am in the mood, pillows were too hard and sheets scratchy. We have always felt that choosing a Marriott property was at least a guarantee of a clean and courteous experience, but this was a shocking reminder that there are no guarantees.

Yelp
It's was just ok. We are used to the Hilton. Night time check in was WEIRD! It was 39 degrees outside and the receptionist wouldn't buzz us in. Locked doors. She was helping a guest with snacks. I was freezing. She wasn't wearing a name tag and she was very rude. The locked doors is your 1st clue.

Yelp
My husband has lifetime Marriott status so we've stayed at a lot of their properties. This is one of the older more outdated ones I've been to in awhile, thus not one of my favorites. The good points: -Friendly staff -Set back from the road, so generally quiet -Walking distance to several restaurants (First Watch for breakfast, Baggins sandwiches, Olive Garden and many others.) The bad: -Old dingy carpet and drab furnishings -They have a mini fridge but no safe or microwave -The water pressure in the shower dips and drops, to the point where you fear you won't be able to rinse your shampoo out It won't be my first choice when visiting Tucson, but it's an adequate choice in a pinch.

Yelp
This is a Marriott Courtyard hotel. If you've stayed at them before, you know what to expect, and that's kind of the point. (I've spent a LOT of nights in Courtyard branded hotels over the years) It follows the older room layout of the Courtyard brand and the rooms show a bit of wear. Our room was kind of dark, even with all lights turned on. We had a mini fridge but no safe or microwave in our room. My family said the room smelled a little funny and the closet door stuck. The AC/fan/heater/thermostat, shower, toilet and sink all worked fine and the beds were comfortable enough. The sink area is the tiny, not-in-the-bathroom design I associate with the older Courtyard hotels, which can be tough if traveling with a family. The room was quiet. The lobby seemed to have been refurbished and followed the "new Courtyard" design. The staff were friendly and helpful. It may have been difficult to find at night since the sign had no light on it and it is a bit tucked back behind a strip mall. The location is good if you're working in southeast Tucson. It was convenient and the price was right for this trip -- not far away like the airport but not subject to foothills- or university-adjacent price premiums. Access to I-10 is a little convoluted, but manageable and there are several restaurants nearby.

Yelp
To say I travel for work would be an understatement. I live half my life in hotels. With that being said, this courtyard location is fairly average. The rooms are decent if a little outdated, but clean and provide all you need including a fridge in the room. My room had a lovely balcony and view of a couple of ponds with a peaceful sitting area. However this hotel did not provide travel size lotion, while not a deal breaker it had become a very common practice at most hotels and was sorely missed on this visit. All in all if your looking for a place to rest your head, take a warm shower, relax and watch some tv this hotel will definitely do the job.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
I will start with the public hairs around the toilet upon arrival in the room. Next, homeless people wandering around the parking lot.!! Then they have a sign that says they're not responsible for theft on their own property. The beds are extremely cheap and uncomfortable. There's no coffee in the lobby for less that $5-6 and a breakfast sandwich is $12.00. Really surprised that a Marriott is allowed to be like this. So yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Yelp
This Marriott is a wonderful hotel, which has an interior courtyard with a pool and cabana. It feels very upscale. I am unsure of the hotel's history, but it feels like it must have been a resort at some point. We decided to have a family retreat, including our pups. They are very dog friendly, charging only a nominal fee. Our rooms had french doors, a foyer seating area and were connected. See photos. Btw, their are many food options nearby and we appreciated the spaciousness of their rooms and facilities.

Yelp
Clean room with a coffeemaker and mini fridge. The gym was small and only had two treadmills, a bike, a bench, and some yoga mats. The location is within walking distance of a lot of chain restaurants and not too far from the mall. The staff were nice and helpful. Overall experience, everything was okay.

Yelp
I'm a Bonvoy member so stay at Marriott brand hotels all the time. This was your typical Courtyard hotel but with Covid precautions in place, no housekeeping unless requested but enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Staff is friendly, rooms clean and semi-comfy beds with a refrigerator, large desk/table. Had a balcony view of the pool. Pool was nothing fancy but did the job to cool us down with Arizona heat. Nice garden with seating areas. There are few restaurants and stores that are within walking distance of the hotel.

Cristina M.

Yelp
This Courtyard is a modest version of the Marriott brand. However, during my seven-day business trip, I was truly impressed with the professional service of Ms. Karen Shumord. As front desk staff, Karen was extremely helpful, going beyond and above to help solve problems and provide guidance when needed. Ms. Shumord greets the hotel guests with a smile and has a pleasant communication style. I congratulate Marriott for retaining quality, dedicated personnel like Karen.

Yelp
Great price for a good stay. The beds are very comfortable and clean. Bathroom and shower were very good. The staff is very nice during checking in and departing.

Yelp
This hotel is ok . The staff is great but really the hotel as a whole is kind of outdated. It's a total 3 out of 5.

Yelp
Did an extensive work stay here. Had all of the amenities plus more in the room, a kitchenette, nice sized restroom as well as small living room. The continental was an added bonus and great options at hand. There is also a 24 hour accessible gym, a pool and jacuzzi, security key access to get into most doors on the property and a friendly staff. You can also use their business center. This by far is a great place to enjoy your stay while in the area, whether for business or just passing through thank you for the nice hospitality Arizona..

Yelp
Okay hotel but there were a few things that people should know before staying here. Firstly, the AC unit is in the room and makes sleep-disturbing noise when it is on-and it needs to be on. Secondly, breakfast was advertised but when we asked the front desk staff they said there was no breakfast service. Thirdly, the cafe space appeared to be open only Monday through Friday. We had to go out to find morning coffee on the weekend. Fourthly, the sofa and ottoman in our room had dark stains on them. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The best thing about this hotel were the snapdragons in the parking lot.
google avatar

Michele R.

Yelp
This hotel is "okay". No wow factor. Staff is fairly cordial, but not friendly. I never take a hotel room on the first floor, but my husband went in before me. Our room overlooked the pool area, which was nice, but we found our very accessible glass sliding door completely unlocked. Just proves my point. I didn't feel completely safe. I let the front desk know, but it just set the tone for an uneasy stay. In the morn, we could see that the surrounding area and neighborhood did not look too safe either. I would not choose to stay here again.

Yelp
Definitely one of the better Courtyard properties I have stayed at. Typically Courtyards are NOISY. I can sometimes hear my neighbor snoring or hear their television. I was very surprised at how quiet this property was. It has been renovated and as a great courtyard with a pool, hot tub, fountains, sitting area. The bar in the lobby was very nice and I thought that the rooms were great as well. They have the updated Marriott televisions capable of internet TV and the decor was all newer Courtyard decor- grey/yellow. I thought the parking options were expansive and there are many bars/restaurants within walking distance. Great location!

Yelp
As the star indicates, this is a one-star hotel, if that. I have stayed in many hotels as a business traveler, and Courtyard Tucson Williams Centre is among the worst. Dirty, dirty dirty. I am here, for the first time, for a 2-day trip. The room was not made up after the first night, and the reason the front desk receptionist gave me will take the cake. "If you want 'Full housekeeping service,' then you have to request it a day in advance." So, I asked for fresh towels to be delivered to the room. Response "come downstairs, and we'll give you the towels. There are only two of us working. We are short-staffed." WOW! This is a Marriott? Incredible!!!! Really? Someone is paying for reviews.... Clearly.. You just lost a customer to your next door competitor because of the service.
google avatar

Yelp
I stayed at this Courtyard location recently for business. The good: This hotel is in a great location, with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff at this hotel were all fantastic. I liked the breakfast options that were included in my room rate. The walls were thick enough to mask most of the sounds from the other rooms. The not-so-good: The wi-fi was unreliable. I was unable to work on my computer because it kept dropping the signal. The mattress was nice and firm but the pillows were not very comfortable. The one pillow was too hard and the feather pillow was a bit thin. I didn't like the fact that Marriott has gone to shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers instead of individually packaged toiletries. They did provide a small hand soap, however.

Yelp
As of this review, they are newly under new ownership. We solely stay at Marriott and it's affiliates and this one is the worst one we've ever stayed in. Pretty nice location surrounded by tons of shops and food. At first site, the exterior is nothing to be excited about but you walk into a beautiful, modern hotel on the inside with a gorgeous outdoor pool area. Then you actually stay and you see everything from the rooms, to the halls to the pool area is all barely cleaned. The floors in every space look like they haven't been simply vacuumed or mopped. Our room had random hair everywhere and the floor wasn't vacuumed. We moved to a new room and low and behold there's hair! The AC didn't work and clearly looked banged up and yet they still put us in this room. The cafe doesn't even operate so if you chose this location for that, be ready to be disappointed. Despite advertising Starbucks menu, all they provide is diluted Starbucks brewed coffee in an urn. We asked to have some amenities turned on and was told none of the workers actually know how to turn on the amenities provided. If you have no other choice but to stay here, just bring some cleaning materials to do a super basic cleaning of your own room, cause the hotel isn't going to do that for you. And call and ask to verify they even have any certain amenities you need, up and running.
google avatar

Ruth H.

Yelp
The customer service and front desk are amazing! They're so welcoming and don't make you feel like a burden while going above and beyond for you and other guests. They're fantastic
google avatar

Bobbie J.

Yelp
I really like and support Marriott. Although some front desk employees aren't so nice. We don't drink coffee it was the only hot drink offered at breakfast. There was no tea and we asked for hot water at rhe front desk. The two girls were so bust talking personal. The kitchen man was so helpful and we had our morning tea.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Stayed here while visiting the area for work. Checkin was easy and they gave me an option of what floor I wanted, which was nice. The room was nice, the only downfall was the lack of a microwave in the room. They did have a small fridge and 4 cup coffee pot, but the lack of a microwave was a shocker. I think it was a ploy to boost sales in their bistro. I would have preferred the option of a microwave. Otherwise the room was decent.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
I was really disappointed with this Marriott hotel. Stayed in the king suite which was really nothing special just the size was bigger. The cafe downstairs leaves a lot to be desired by way of both selection and service (consistently 20+ minute wait for oatmeal during non-peak/busy times). I was also thoroughly unimpressed with the cleanliness. The house cleaners just take out the trash, make the bed and change the towels. No vacuuming or wiping down of any surfaces. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. I was here for a training and would not recommend the conference rooms either. The capacity is way overstated, we were packed like sardines. The AC was very erratic which just added to the overall discomfort.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent courtyard Marriott...its tad worn out but well maintained. Pool is small, and everything that going on in the pool can be seen from every rooms facing the courtyard (hint hint.) fitness center is missing most of free weights, which was annoying. Staff members are friendly but one guy who checked me out needs better customer service training. Parking is huge, and located right by many business including awesome restaurant in walking distance. It's safe and people jog all day and night around the hotel.
google avatar

Noel C.

Yelp
Planned a four night stay, leaving early after two nights. Mostly your standard courtyard, front desk staff seems friendly. WiFi unreliable, called to report, not fixed but won't stick around, easier to just move hotels to ensure I can connect to do work. Also dangling wires from the ceiling where a smoke detector should be (posted a photo). I have gold elite status, and thought a welcome gift was standard for frequent stayers, maybe not since I got boo.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Like other viewers have stated, this is your typical, standard, Courtyard brand. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff! The check-in process was easy, and housekeeping was quick to send me up extra shampoo and conditioner. The Bistro workers in the morning are also very pleasant. They make a pretty good caramel macchiato. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the amenities provided are great. I've had no problems with my room, and the air conditioning and heater seemed to work quite well. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. There's a Target nearby, a CVS Pharmacy, a couple of restaurants fast food, counter, and of course sit down. The area is also pedestrian-friendly. Would recommend this hotel for whatever needs you may have.

Yvonne R.

Yelp
Visited this location coming back from Dallas Texas 1/2021 My husband and I usually stay in larger hotels but since this was a quick trip we decided to give the Courtyard a shot. I can Honestly say It was great.. Karen greeted us with a welcoming smile and she was so pleasant and helpful. The room was large and very clean the bistro was delicious and the barista was fabulous We will definitely come back and hopefully get to see Karen again. Thank you so much

Yelp
Hotel is very average. As a lifetime Titanium member, I usually get a room upgrade (without asking). So when I asked the clerk if there was an upgraded room for me, they replied "no, we are all sold out" so I said "can you at least check" -- after 5 minutes of clicking on the keyboard.... surprise! Their was an upgrade room Available for me. I then found out this is a franchise location that also owns the Residence Inn nearby in Williams Center and the A Loft on Speedway... Franchise locations are notorious for not providing upgrades, and it's a choice of points or a "gift" from the shop... usually you get both. We also were not offered a bottle of water at check in which is something the corporate Marriott's always do. Here's the big stickler -- these three franchise locations now charge you for parking in their "unsecured" normal parking lot... $8.00 per night ... after I questioned it, the clerk said well as a Titanium member we can wave that - but what a rip off for the traveler without status... Be aware.

Yelp
BISTRO at Courtyard Marriott !BEWARE¡ Spent 2 days running back & forth between trying to vacation in Tucson and THE FUCKING TOILET. That's not exactly true; only because there was a porta-potty, and one or two public restrooms & a grocer that may or may not need a wet mop clean up on aisle 4. This is a HUGE problem when the purpose of your visit is to review the good food of Tucson along with THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT hotel itself! Now, to be fair, Management (Cough-Wankers-Cough) did offer Compensation: $20 off your bill & 2 free coffee vouchers to the BISTRO. Shhhh! Wait, did I hear that right?! 'Cos it sounds like the Marriotts' "Compensation" is the price of the meal and 2 coffee vouchers to the same BISTRO THAT RUINED YOUR VACATION IN THE FUCKING FIRST PLACE. Apparently, the Marriott (Cough-Tosspots-Cough) they feel that $20 bucks and 2 coffees is all their reputation and My Time--and potentially yours--is worth. " I wish I had more hands to give you more thumbs down."
google avatar

Evelyn B.

Yelp
Pretty consistent with Courtyards you find all over the US. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful; decently priced compared to other hotels closer to downtown Tucson and lots of restaurants, shopping and theaters nearby. Room was well-maintained and clean! Didn't get a chance to try the pool but will next time we are in town.

Gabrielle P.

Yelp
My team and I stay at this hotel when we're visiting Tucson for work. The rooms are modern and clean, courtyard is pretty and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. During our last stay, we had an Internet issue at our local office, and the Marriott staff quickly found a meeting space so that we could come back to the hotel and continue making progress. A++. This is a great place to stay.

Lorrene S.

Yelp
A motorcycle club took over the hotel in March during my stay. If you want a " TATTOO or MASSAGE " this is the place to be. They literally had designated rooms for tattoos and massages. Not a good look for the hotel. And then the next business trip, a known "OUTLAW " motorcycle club are taking over the hotel? That was an easy no for me. Unfortunately for some in my organization, they were stuck staying there. With that being said, I am never staying here again; and my company knows why. The Courtyard in Tucson is now known as the Biker Hotel. They were wearing their vests with the names all over them. The sales team doesn't do obvious research? A simple google search and plenty of information populated about the outlaw motorcycle club that included drugs and violence. We heard the same thing happened last year and thought it was exaggerated. But it is not. If you like to see a parking lot full of bikes, club members loitering around everywhere and want a tattoo or massage , just go down the hall. This is a safety issue for all. And it appears management is not concerned. I am not saying motorcycle clubs are all bad but when their own website states they are outlaws? The hotel is in bad shape anyhow. Plumbing seems to be an issue. Have to ask for a plunger to plunge my own toilet. The a/c in the room is not maintained. The little bar/cafe is way overpriced, and they are always out of items. So do not plan on being able to eat breakfast or dinner. But thank you for the free coffee. If you look at other reviews, you can see a trend. This was once a great place to stay. But it appears this place needs new management across the board. My company is looking at other options and hopefully it happens soon.

Yelp
I'm currently staying here for a trade show. -Prices are fair -great location -right across the street from a big target so if you forget anything at home, you can find basically any thing in that target- even groceries -clean, newly renovated looking - cute fireplace in the lobby, bring a book, have some tea at their marketplace (closes at 10pm) and enjoy yourself - toilet and shower is separate from the sink, which I find convenient when traveling with another person. -try "the good egg" for breakfast around the block - great food! - I am not the one to complain about pillows but they are small and horribly uncomfortable. My neck is gonna kill me in a few days!
google avatar

Yelp
This hotel is a bit far from most things of interest in Tucson. But it is a straight shot down Broadway to either UofA or downtown. The lobby and dining area is very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and adequately spacious. There was a fridge in the room (even though the website doesn't show it), but there is no microwave. However, they will let you use the microwave in the lobby area. Which was nice. The bed was a little hard for me, and the pillows a bit too soft (the filling tends to move away from your head so you end up with your head almost on the mattress. Two pillows seemed to fix that problem. Internet was fine (and free). Bathroom was clean. Overall, a nice hotel. Nothing too fancy, but very nice and not too expensive.

Yelp
Stayed by here late the other night. Came in on the late side. Apparently their system has issues if you come in late to check in. Had to wait and wait and wait and we were really unhappy with the late hour being from the east coast and time difference. Otherwise hotel was nice and clean but really unhappy to stand around to hear we couldn't get our room yet bc of their computer issues until it decides to work again in 20 mins. Apparently this wasn't a one time deal and the woman didn't seem to be to bothered by it at the desk. If I wasn't so tired I probably would of left and went somewhere else that night.

Yelp
First time here. Stayed 2 nights. This place made me want to become a rewards member with the Marriott. How beautifully kept this place was! I was able to check in early and check out late with no charge! Upon entering the room they had good details like a wall light kit for you, perfectly made white bedding and the tv welcomed you by your name. The room smelled nice and everything was super clean. I noticed how quiet the room was. I never heard anyone else the entire stay. I was able to choose the floor I was on and I chose 3 to give others the chance to be on 1 if needed since I was traveling alone. They have a very cute bistro where I ordered my morning coffee and you could order a nice breakfast as well. Everyone including the housekeepers always said hello and asked how you were. It's close to a lot of restaurants within walking distance, malls, the University of AZ ( which is why I stayed here). If I come back to Tucson I'm definicely staying here. Since I came in January I didn't end up using the pool but it looked very nice. The courtyard looked like a nice place to relax and sit outside.
google avatar

Gary S.

Yelp
Clean and comfortable with one of the best lobby restaurants-bar-coffee shops that I have seen I if travel back to Tucson, I will stay again.
google avatar

Aaron Z.

Yelp
I am a regular at this courtyard and it hurts me to put a two star review. Wifi is not reliable. I work from the hotel room a lot and it constantly drops and has issues. they offer internet TV but normally will not get picture because internet is not fast enough to support it. The Bistro is sad to say not on top of it. Today was a breaking point with me as i went to get a normal cup of coffee and they were out. OUT of coffee! i needed to come back once a new brew was complete which could not be told to me by the worker how long that would be. The rooms are great like most Courtyards with comfy beds and pillows but the rest needs some major improvement.
google avatar

Justin F.

Yelp
Most importantly this hotel was nice and clean with competent and helpful staff. For that I would give 5 stars. However, I did experience a couple of issues that other people have mentioned. The walls are paper thin. It is like you are sharing your room with your neighbors. You can hear EVERYthing. The lack of insulation is probably the same reason why people complain the AC is insufficient in summer. The blankets are paper thin. The beds are comfortable but the thickest blanket is like a tissue. Hopefully Marriot reads these reviews and takes some action to improve the situation.

Yelp
The staff is absolutely amazing! From check in to restaurant/bar. Joseph at the bar was very attentive and was extremely professional. After they accidentally messed up our food order, Joseph made sure we were taken care of and well fed. He was so polite and professional. Really made us feel welcomed and comfortable after a long day of traveling. I will recommend and stay at this hotel in the future.

Yelp
Great staff and management. Attentive and courteous. Clean room, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast at the bistro. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I stayed here when I went to Tucson for a job interview. I got a discounted rate due to the interview, so that was a pleasant surprise! The front desk man was very friendly, despite me arriving at the hotel at midnight. He definitely had a good attitude and was welcoming. The lobby itself is pretty nice - there is a food area (breakfast in the morning, dinner and bar at night, coffee all day long) with plenty of tables, an office area, a fireplace, and a TV. There is only one elevator, but it is pretty fast. The hotel rooms are nice and spacious. The bathroom was also nice and large. However, the walls are extremely thin. I heard my neighbor's alarm go off non-stop all morning. He/she was definitely a fan of the snooze button. Everything about the hotel was pretty nice, but the thin walls were a little too annoying for me. Maybe it's because I was there for an interview and was a little stressed. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel, especially for a discounted rate!

Yelp
Excellent service and nice, updated furniture/decor. I stayed with my fire crew on the night of July 1st 2017, and the front desk staff/manager from that evening and the next morning gave impeccable service that I don't see often anymore. I wish I had gotten their names to write them in here. They had fresh fruit water by the front desk and Starbucks coffee.

Yelp
ANTOINETTE IN HOUSEKEEPING, AND KAREN SHUMARD, A MANAGER, WERE TERRIFIC! BETWEEN THEM THE RETURNED MY IPAD TO ME IN TWO DAYS!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIFIC !!! ____________________________________________________ BUT... This Courtyard was awful. The elevator didn't work. My "upgrade" room was not an upgrade. The check in experience took a long time, because the guy didn't know what he was doing. There was no coffee or hot food in the kitchen for my entire four day stay. In my room, there was a shabby couch with an armchair pushed up against it and the rug was dirty and not vacuumed. I know this because I spilled some talcum powder on the first night that was still there when I left. In the dimly lit bathroom sink, the hot water wasn't hot and the cold water wasn't cold. As you laid in the bed, it slanted right. I have spent over 800 nights at Marriott properties, over at least seven brands, and this was. the worst! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! Yelp
I am a Bonvoy member, and regularly stay at Marriott hotels (pre-Covid). The room was fine. It was clean, the bed was relatively comfortable, the shower was adequate and warm, the front-desk staff was friendly. I suggest you bring your own pillow if you can though. However, on arrival (not before), we received a notice that stated there were no services because they were not able to hire adequate staff. The room was missing essential items from the beginning like hand soap. If we needed anything we had to get it ourselves from downstairs. We stayed in this hotel for one week. The room was never serviced or cleaned. We had to get our own towels and toilet paper. They say they have food in their "Bistro" but it is just snacks. And it is open at weird hours. It is OK to do all of this, but they charge the same price they always do. If you are going to have just a room you never clean, and make the guests get all their own supplies, you can't charge full price. That's ridiculous! They should also be more up front about their situation instead of just giving you a note when you arrive. I realize things are different now with Covid, but they should be honest about it.

Yelp
I spent days looking for a hotel that was clean, not crazy expensive, and kinda close to U of A. I am very picky when it comes to hotels because I hate ones that are dirty. I was very happy staying here and couldn't find much I didn't like!! Room was clean, a/c was cold, and service was great. For some reason there is no a/c in the hallways and it felt a little stuffy but not a big deal to me. Overall, I was very happy with everything and will stay here again if I need to travel to Tucson !

Yelp
Room: Bed was way too hard...WAY TO HARD! Good luck sleeping, unless you like hard beds. Pillows too flat Bathroom was shabby and needed help Room was sleek and updated AC WAS RIDICULOUSLY LOUD! Hotel: Lobby was sleek and modern Gym was small, but nice Hallways were shabby and outdated Not sure if I would stay here again. Staff was great, especially graveyard crew.

Yelp
This Marriott Courtyard is as basic as a hotel can get - you have your room and little more (see their website for what I assure you is a complete list of their amenities). So it is a place to sleep. But it is a pretty good place to sleep - clean, very well-maintained, not too expensive, and with everything working properly. Don't expect an in-room safe, a free breakfast, or an ice machine where the door says "ice machine". Don't expect the small coffee shop in the lobby to be manned when they say it will be. Do expect the air conditioning/heating unit to be loud but not extremely so, and do expect to hear some noise from adjoining units which might be an issue when they are crowded. I would return if I needed a place to sleep and did't want to spend more, but I won't be dreaming about it or Williams Centre.

Yelp
It was OK. I used my reward points. No problems. Beds clean and comfortable.
