Since I inadvertently checked into Cow Chip Cookies on the Yelp App, I might as well write the review.
I was down in Kent from Seattle yesterday because I hankered my favorite breakfast. Read that as Hawaiian fare Saimin Says. Afterwards I wanted something a little bit sweet so I searched on Yelp for a nearby bakery. As it turns out, Cow Chip is in Kent Station, a Bridgeport Village clone. I actually smelled the cookies baking before I turned the corner and espied Cow Chip's store front.
I managed to find a parking space despite the fact some graduation exercises were about to commence at nearby ShoWare Center.
Cow Chip, what a whimsical name for a cookie. But anyway, once inside the store, I discovered the "Nutty Cow" ($3) cookie. It was, of course, a chocolate chip cookie, but better yet, slathered in walnuts. I had to have one of these babies! And you know what, Cow Chip has milk too. Good deal! I took my cookie and sat outside at their only outdoor table to enjoy the warm sunny day (which is totally atypical for June in these parts).
This chocolate chip cookie was flawless, absolutely flawless. Loaded with soft semi-melted dark chocolate bits, the cookie was soft, but not gummy. And all those walnuts! Yum, yum, yum. Yes, I'm going to say it, this was the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever dunked in milk!
