Detroit-Style Pizza Pop-Up Thunderbird Pies Finds a Permanent Home in Dallas - Eater Dallas

"No word yet on an opening date for the dine-in location, which will also house an outpost of Cow Tipping Creamery, the ice cream chain also owned by pizza magnate Jay Jerrier." - Brittanie Shey

What an amazing finish to such a great pie. Located inside of Thunderbird Pies, and next to the infamous Cane Rosso, this "Cow Tipping Creamery" is everything you need to satisfy a sweet tooth. Highly recommend the Pina colada shake! The ice cream is soft, creamy, and smooth.

Great tasting (and Instagramable) ice cream creations. Highly recommend the S'mores version or any of their limited time/seasonal options.

We got the Reese’s in a cup and I think I was expecting something else…it had way too many fillers and not enough ice cream..especially for the price $8.75!…I mean it was ok and service was great. Definitely would rather go to Andy’s…maybe the shakes are better 🤷🏻‍♀️

The cashier was awesome, would have gave 5 stars but only ordered 2 soft serves one in a sugar cone one in a waffle and she gave us two sugar cones ( she fixed it and apologized).

Yelp
This is co-located with Thunderbird Pies. I ordered the Lemon Drop consisting of lemon curd sauce, honey dust, graham crumb and whipped cream with a base layer of their vanilla soft serve. My GF had the Death by Chocolate which is a base of chocolate soft serve, brownie chunks, cocoa cookie crumb, HUGE chocolate chips and hot fudge. Of the 2, the Death by Chocolate is better. The lemon curd was almost too much bitter which made the sweet a bit too strong. The Death by chocolate has some fantastic chocolate chips! The chocolate soft serve was perfect without anything! We could hardly find the hot fudge. The kids will LOVE this place!!

Yelp
I've been here twice and I've been impressed. The soft serve here is really creamy and rich. It's nothing like that artificial/bland vanilla soft serve. I could eat the soft serve as-is in a cone and I'd be pretty happy. They say they make all their toppings in-house and they are all delicious. The rum caramel sauce is out of this world amazing. My partner didn't want any ice cream, but once I brought my stacker to the table they ate half of mine (probably would have are it all if I didn't stop them). Pictured is the NOLA stacker which I highly recommend - it has bananas foster bread pudding, honey pecans, and that rum caramel sauce. I got the small size and I think it's the perfect size for an individual person. If you're sharing would get a larger size. The staff was really nice and they got the ice cream out fast! I'm definitely coming back and totally recommend the NOLA stacker if you aren't sure of what to get.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a while and was excited to see that they were open until 10pm. The service upon entering was disappointing, the employees acted as if they didn't see us after standing there ready to order for over 5 minutes. We spent $13 for the two ice creams, and long story short- we threw away the s'mores sundae and necessarily scraped off the abysmal brownie bites. Imagine freezing chocolate milk into ice cubes, blending them into a slushy, then pushing the slush through a margarita machine that was stuffed away in your mothers cabinet not used since the 90s. Got it? Now that's what we experienced. I wouldn't call this place a "creamery"... especially considering I could go to McDonald's for a McFlurry and it would provide a creamier delight than this slush. Definitely not coming back.

Yelp
The "Creamery" in Cow Tipping Creamery is an overstatement. At most you are getting a watered down bag of vanilla slush that's been put through a Walmart ice cream making machine to produce a "ice cream margarita". The quality is non existent, the service is laughable, and the experience is simply a disappointment. Save your money and your emotional happiness and go somewhere else.

Yelp
I was SO excited they reopened in our neighborhood, I was so sad when the other location closed a few years ago. The "At The Ritz" sundae is literally the best thing I've ever had. So so happy it's back!
