COW WOW Korean BBQ really impressed us. The quality of the meat was excellent — tender, juicy, and flavorful. You can tell they use good cuts because the taste speaks for itself. The marinades were balanced and not overpowering, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, but the customer service was still top notch. The staff was friendly, efficient, and stayed on top of everything. Our grill was changed promptly and we never had to wait long for anything. It’s rare to find a place that keeps both food quality and service consistent when it’s that busy. Definitely one of the better KBBQ experiences we’ve had. Great food and great service, even when packed — that’s not easy to do. We’ll definitely be back.

Lately, it’s been hard to find good-quality beef around this area, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality here. The meat was fresh and well-prepared, and overall the beef quality really stood out. One downside is that the place gets very crowded, especially during peak hours. The photo shows two orders of kkotsal (flower cut), and compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants in Duluth, the portion size feels a bit on the smaller side. I hope they can maintain this level of quality, because customers are very sensitive when it comes to meat quality. If they can keep the consistency, this place has strong potential.

This place puts the WOW, in Cow-Wow. This is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in GA. I've been to a ton of K-BBQ places over the years and this one is AMAZING. So much more authentic than most of the others around town. I love the difference that the charcoal stove makes. That extra flavor you get from most places that simply use propane or gas. And the food is simply fantastic. The meats and sides are all high-quality and super flavorful. The full-service difference is also great. The servers come around and help cook the food for you right at your table, allowing you to focus on your friends and family instead of cooking your own meal. I cannot wait to come back!

We went in on Thursday for dinner thinking it can't be that busy, but they were pretty packed. We waited for less than 10 minutes for table for 2. We ordered the combo special for 2 at $92.99, and every cut was delicious! Our server, Josh did an excellent job! I'm not sure how many tables he was responsible for, but he was busy the whole time we were there. Yet, he still made sure all of our beef and pork were cooked to perfection. I'm pregnant so he would tell my husband certain cuts are cooked perfectly at medium rare to eat now, and commented that we should let the other half cook a little longer for me! Attention to detail was really appreciated! Thank you Josh!

Cow Wow Korean BBQ is fantastic! The meat is so fresh and delicious—it truly sets this place apart. Our server was great, offering excellent service all evening. I especially appreciated the manager's flexibility; they were very accommodating with a special request we had. A top-notch KBBQ spot in Suwanee!

OMG one of the best Korean BBQ we've had!!!! I almost cried when I bit into the meat. So much deliciousness! Everything was delicious! The one thing that could improve is their salad.

Holy wow, this place was amazing. Soon as we walked in and saw the Jinro Frog, we were fascinated. The flavor was awesome because this is Charcoal and not gas, and you can really tell a difference. This place didn't disappoint at all. What surprised us wasn't just the quality of the meats on the BBQ, which were spectacular, but rather the quality of the Ban Chan that comes and the massive variety. Not only do you get the staple Kim Chi, Daikon, etc...but you also get more exotic stuff like spicy peanuts, roasted potatoes, and other various things that just adds to the whole experience. We went with a group of three and despite ordering BBQ for 2 and an extra side of Jap Chae and Seafood Pancake, we couldn't finish the meal as the Ban Chan was just so good we kept having more of it. Our server was incredible. Sadly I forgot his name, but normally we cook for ourselves for Kbbq, but went for the being cooked for experience. The server was pleasant, enjoyable to talk too, and very attentive. When we asked for things like some Sesame oil for the salt, or some extra ban chan he was very cordial and nice despite being the end of his shift. Looking forward to going back. It was a little bit of a trek for us at about 45+ minutes away, but oh man was it finally worth going after Cow Wow popped up on the Radar several months ago.

Best KBBQ I’ve had. Incredibly fresh ingredients and kind, quick service. We had a reservation for 9 of us and it was still so quick! Will definitely be my go-to for KBBQ!

this is my current go-to place for lunch. They now have the lunch special back with many items priced at $9.99. The quality of the food is immaculate and everything from main dish to side dishes taste amazing. Never been disappointed and happy that they have the lunch special pricing back. There are about 10-15 items priced at 9.99 lunch special. They're popular among the korean community for their Prime Galbitang(limited quantity available daily) and Beef Tartar Bibimbap. Easily top 3 korean restaurants for me. Service was great. I appreciated the hat and mask of the staff (although not necessary). Our server came to check up on us and asked if we needed more sides as well. They do serve hot tea and it tasted good as well. The interior is very clean, modern, pretty. Not a single bad thing I could say.

I visited Cow Wow for my friend's birthday. I had never been to an al a carte KBBQ before so this was a first. A plus is that they are open until 3AM (as advertised out front) so if you need a late night meal it might be a place to go. We went on a Friday night and it was packed. I will say that once all of our food and drinks started coming out, the table was nowhere near big enough to fit everything. We were juggling plates and dishes around and it was still super cramped. We ordered the dinner for 4, which I believe was around $150ish. Unlike most KBBQ places, they cook for you here. The banchan (side dishes) provided were plentiful but I cannot say I was a huge fan of most of them. As someone who doesn't like food that is super spicy or fishy, that was most of the sides. I was disappointed because I usually find some japchae (glass noodles) or maybe tteokbokki (rice cakes) I can munch on but they didn't have that here. Cow Wow is known for their high quality meats and it shows. Most KBBQs I visit have good meat, but it is full of meat/tendons/etc. It can be difficult at times to chew through to the good meat. This place had very little fat on their cuts- it was mostly meat. However, I'm unsure if this is due to their quality or due to our waiter specifically saying "I cut off the fat before I cook." The combo we ordered came with brisket, boneless short rib, fresh short rib, marinated short rib, rib eye, pork neck and marinated rib finger. I will say a downside is that none of the meat is labeled. Thus, every time we got served I had to ask what we were eating. Eventually I got tired of asking each time so I just ate and tried to make a guess on what it was. Our waiter was great- he was super attentive and cooked everything to perfection. I will say that my favorite meats were the gabli (short ribs) and pork. Not saying that the other meat was bad but I cannot say it was my favorite. At least for the price, there was not a lot of food for me personally that I would come back for. I think if I had liked more of the sides that might make it worth it. However, after leaving my mouth was very dry, meaning the food was quite salty. If you have an issue with high blood pressure/excessive salt, do be aware as the meat is pre-marinated and you don't have much control over it. You may be able to request no marinade but I'm not sure. Overall it was a decent experience but I will say that it is quite pricey.

Great original wings cooked with a hint of olive oil. They got my chicken wing order wrong when I last ordered to go, but partly my fault. Wish they made and effort to rectify it, but I know it's a costly mistake...and not 100% their fault. Yum!

This is unacceptable. When you go to a regular, decent restaurant and order something from the menu, you should get exactly what you ordered. But today, I had a different experience. I ordered "Yukgaejang"--brisket spicy soup--but what I received was not "Cha-Dol" (the premium, thinly sliced fatty brisket). Instead, it was just a regular "Yukgaejang." I called the manager to ask what had happened, and her response was ridiculous. She claimed they had changed the name a long time ago and insisted that what I received--despite not being "Cha-Dol"--was correct. This left me speechless. This isn't a small restaurant; they advertise on Facebook and Yelp, yet they operate their lunch service like this? You should get what you order, not what the item used to be called on the menu. And it's not like they changed the menu yesterday or today--according to the manager, it's been a while. Yet, they still charge the same price. For those who don't know, "Cha-Dol" refers to very thinly sliced, fatty brisket--the premium cut people are willing to pay extra for. So next time you visit this place, make sure to ask your server whether what you're ordering is actually what you'll receive. Because the menu hasn't been "updated" in a while, what you get may not be what you thought you ordered--especially when it's supposed to be premium-quality meat.

Cow Wow Korean BBQ is AMAZING! The meat is super fresh and flavorful, and they have so many options to choose from. The sides are bomb (seriously, that kimchi and spicy cucumber ), and the vibe is fun and chill. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you love Korean BBQ or just want to try something new, this place is a MUST. Can't wait to go back!

My siblings and I came here on a Saturday night to find them about half way full. We got seated right away by their kind host after finding easy parking in their lot. Between the three of us, we shared the combo for two which included eggs, salad, cream corn, and soy bean stew. Plus there's always the sides of onion, few types of daikon, kimchi, and green peppers with ssamjang. We also split the beef tartar which was the first time I've ever had it and I am absolutely in LOVE with it. Would 10/10 come back just for this for how fresh, sweet, and spicy it is! All the meats were cooked and seasoned well. Overall, I had a phenomenal experience with delicious food and top notch service. The ambience is super comfortable and reminiscent of the Korean establishments. I would love to come again and recommend others to check them out!

We got the two person set and it came with a variety of side dishes, corn cheese, steamed eggs, and meat. The meat quality is great and our server did an amazing job cooking each piece perfectly and carefully cut off any burnt parts if any. Every piece of meat was tender, juicy, and well marinated. For the price though I would say it's a little bit high especially when I left feeling not full enough. But overall good

We were quite satisfied with the combination platter for four, paired with the 소맥 (soju and beer mix) we enjoyed. The service was attentive, friendly, and left a positive impression on all of us. It was great to see the success of this restaurant, and I hope they continue to maintain their high standards of service and meat quality. One minor critique would be that the overall flavor of the meat was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Cow Wow Korean BBQ is yet another outstanding Korean barbecue restaurant to open in Gwinnett County, in Suwanee. Simply put, it's worth the drive from many places in metro Atlanta. We came from Midtown which took just over 30 minutes in light traffic. For a few folks I know, this is their new favorite Korean barbecue joint in metro Atlanta. I've heard from multiple people - some Korean/Korean-American - that think Cow Wow currently has some of the best, if not *the* best, meat quality in Georgia. I agree with them, but it's also hard for me to say definitively because I've had so much great Korean barbecue in metro Atlanta over the years and many of those experiences have been spread apart, timewise. That said, the meat quality we experienced here was indeed superb and certainly among the best we've had in recent memory. In addition, service was incredible. It solidified the five-star rating for me. Like other Korean barbecue restaurants, the staff here took a tag-team approach to serving and cooking for us. They were friendly, super attentive, and had great attitudes. This crew appeared to genuinely enjoy working with one another which elevated the mood/environment. The server who cooked for us the most was a young Korean lady named Stephanie. She was amazing. She stayed on top of everything. I regularly see servers bounce around different Korean barbecue restaurants in Gwinnett and asked her if she's worked anywhere else. She hasn't. She considered working at the older and more established 678 and 9292 restaurants in Duluth, but chose Cow Wow due to proximity. She went above and beyond and we made sure to take care of her and her team in return. Stephanie's coworker/buddy, another young Korean lady, noticed my wife was wearing a white blouse. She brought my wife an apron to wear because she didn't want my wife's blouse to get dirty. In all my years of eating Korean barbecue, I've never seen that before. It was unexpected and really nice of that server to do. Finally, the other server who did a substantial amount of cooking for us was an older Chinese-Korean lady who spoke both Mandarin and Korean. She spoke Mandarin to my wife and our friend. She made sure to cook the meats at the right pace for me since I'm a slow eater. At some Korean barbecue restaurants, I've felt rushed. Not here and I appreciated that. Needless to say, service was A+. Cow Wow opened in March 2023 in the same strip as All That Korean BBQ (next door, opened February 2019) and the Suwanee location of BBQ Chicken (two doors down). This space used to be a CVS Pharmacy. The main difference between Cow Wow and All That is quality. Cow Wow doesn't serve unlimited all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue, All That does. Cow Wow is more expensive, but the high-quality meat is worth it. And despite the set-menu, a-la-carte-nature of Cow Wow, the three of us ended up leaving absolutely stuffed with lots of leftovers to take home. Leftovers from a Korean barbecue restaurant are rare for me. That's how much food we got. Cow Wow serves generous portions. During our visit, they offered five combos and 16 individual meat options. To give you an idea on pricing, a five-course combo for two cost $109.99 and a 10-course combo for six cost $299.99. Lunch specials, not necessarily Korean barbecue, are available Monday-Friday, 11:30am-2:30pm. We got the combo for four ($199.99) which came with: * Thinly Sliced Brisket * Boneless Short Rib * Fresh Short Rib * Marinated Short Rib * Rib Eye * Pork Neck * Marinated Rib Finger Every meat course was phenomenal with just the right amounts of marbling, seasoning, and/or marinade. Terrific flavors and textures. In general, succulent, rich, and tender. Banchan (side dishes) included salad, buchu kimchi (garlic chives kimchi), pickled radish and jalapeno, pink ssam mu slices (pickled daikon), fishcake, potato salad, fresh kimchi, and spicy pickled bean sprouts. Also included was egg cooked on the side of the grill (I love places that do this), corn cheese served sizzling on a skillet (bonus points for that), and steaming-hot doenjang-jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew, spicy). Condiments included sesame oil with salt and pepper and ssamjang (fermented soybean and red chili paste). We also got a bottle of Soon Hari Peach Soju ($14.99). While not bad, it tasted a bit mediciney. The dining rooms are spacious and outfitted with charcoal grills with adjustable hoods. Many places, like Breakers in Duluth and Ari in Johns Creek, have downdraft vents. Those are good, but not perfect. I think these adjustable hoods are even better. They directly suck up smoke from the grills. Clean grills were used for each meat course and grill types differed depending on the meat (as it should be). I will say Cow Wow doesn't have the "nicest" ambiance among the stiff local competition, but it's still pretty solid and functional. They have a couple private rooms in the back. Parties of six or more can book via OpenTable.

Never fails us. We go every time family or friends are in town and they always leave satisfied and wanting more when they go back home. The meat is always so tender and high quality. The side dishes are on point and they switch them regularly so we see new ones every time we go. The customer service is great and they treat everyone so well. I highly recommend this spot and will vouch for it.

Came here with my family. Had a great experience and service really took care of us with the refills on water and sides. We got the Combo serving for 4 and it was a plenty of food. Highly recommended and we plan to come back.

Cowwow has a very beautiful and spacious interior. Its very cute in that it feels so much like an amusement park set-up like a Hollywood backdrop. While walking to our table you can see their meats in a long glass display. My wife and I decided to order a combo which included pork and beef. This place definitely seemed like it was going to be all about beef, hence the name. Once our platter came out and the server started cooking the pork neck we realized there wasn't any pork belly. The server explained that we had a choice, but since we didn't choose they "defaulted" to pork neck. We were displeased since they never asked which one we wanted. This is an auto dock of one star in my book. To remedy the situation, which just order an order of pork belly, what's another $30 right? The brisket was cut pretty thick compared to what I am used to and had a lean dry taste. If you ever want a soft thin cut brisket try Honey Pig. The pork neck was juicy and tender, but again something was off about the overall pork taste. The egg souffle is cooked around the rim of the grill and was ok. Not bad or exceeding good. Corn cheese came out in a rectangular casserole dish and was ok. Again not bad or exceedingly good/distinct. My favorite meat was the marinated beef. It had some tenderness and tasted good after I dipped it in sesame oil and salt. Pork belly was thick and cut into nice strips. Cooked well, but buttery and fatty taste just didn't come through. Service, was very good and attentive. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly and someone was always there grilling for us. The speed though was a bit too fast and we couldn't keep up. Meat was piling up on a side plate while more meat was being grilled. We should have told them to slow down, but since it wasn't AYCE, we knew we would be bringing back leftovers. Overall, we would NOT go back. There is just too many other KBBQ places around Duluth, Suwanee, and Doraville. There is actually a KBBQ right next to Cowwow also! The meat is not as fatty as I would like, and the pork just didn't hit right with us. Lastly, if you do go and get a platter, make sure you tell them what meat you would like if offered a choice on the menu.

The restaurant had the best service I've ever experienced! The place was casual so nothing fancy but a great vibe. Now for the best part... the food was amazing every cut of meat was cooked perfectly and our server cooked it all in front of us! It was the best Korean BBQ I've had hands down! Highly recommend checking this place out if you can!

This has got to be my favorite KBBQ spot in the metro Atlanta area. The fact that it's 10 minutes from my parents' house is a big plus! The meat is so fresh and tasty (they showcase it behind glass counters), and the servers cook the meat for you. I also liked the intensity and spiciness of the sides/banchan they put out. A lot of the kpop that played was from the mid to late 2010s which was pretty nostalgic to me. I'd advise if you get the combo for 2, it very comfortably feeds/stuffs 3 people. More than worth it to me. It's about the same price as AYCE if you split that among 3 people. Yummy food, great service, nice and clean facilities. What more can you ask for?

I tried out this KBBQ restaurant in Suwannee with friends last Saturday for dinner. Walked in around 6:30 pm and got a table for four without making reservations. It was pretty packed, but we got lucky and didn't have to wait. We ordered a combo serving for four which comes with steam eggs and corn cheese. Very good portion size and plenty of tasty side dishes. We got a refill of the steam eggs and several of the other side dishes. Service was pretty good with several servers grilling the meat. Ice cold soju and a couple bottles of Terra to complete our delicious meal.

Few must have at korean bbq 1. Good short rib 2. Diverse ban chan 3. Someone cooks the meat for you and bonus feature is not smelling like Korean bbq after your meals. If you don't mind price this is the place for you! First meats are prime beef which is the highest level of marbling for beef. I love their dishes and with two kids, someone cooks and feed me is a true experience. I've ordered the set menu of meats and not the all you can eat option. Another tip is their lunch selection is amazing too! Still crave that short rib soup!

My new KBBQ spot! 678 has always been my favorite but Cow Wow has overtaken the throne. Meat is fresh and tasty, service is on point, and the vent works great that your eyes are safe from smoke! Also, their sides are delicious but everything does comes with a heavier price~ Although totally worth it in my opinion! Just wish that they go back to the thicker cuts on brisket as it was so good before! Location wise, Cow Wow is in the plaza next to Suwanee Hmart so it's definitely far outside of the perimeter.

My second x here @CW, food was indeed good. We had David as our server while he trained another trainee. He was very helpful & super friendly. We picked a meal of 2 for $89.99. We told him that we had 2 puppies and he offered to give us a second neck bone to take home.

Cow wow has always been my favorite kbbq restaurant. It's open until 3 am and has great food and drinks. Whenever people bring up other bbq places I shut them down and turn them to cow wow. I've been to many over 10 Korean barbecue restaurants and this is my favorite. Well lit. Great service. They have one of those service buttons.

Update: They have recently received a follow up score of 100 on their Health Inspection. Glad to see them bounce back and hope they can maintain their good hygiene practices for their food safety. I have enjoyed my experiences at Cow Wow and hope to return to them in the near future. The service was friendly and the ambiance was always nice so I can't dock any stars for that. Look forward to visiting you guys again soon!

This was a fun place to come with a group. They move fast and it's a lot of food. We ordered the combo for six, which came with beef tartar, brisket, short rib, rib finger, pork neck, pork belly, and marinated beef and pork. It also came with a nice assortment of banchan. I thought it was pretty expensive, but people in the group said it was worth it given the quality of the meat.

I was so excited to try this spot because of all the social media posts for it. The meat quality is pretty good but I don't think the sides were tasty. Upon entering for lunch, there was a decent amount of people eating here and I was super excited because it was probably super yummy and the food was definitely super yummy. I was so sad because my server didn't cook it well because the meat came out rare and or overcooked to the point that it was burnt. I would definitely try this spot again. I'm giving it a 3 star because the server didn't cook the meats well. But the meats are super high quality!

This is my new go to kbbq, the meat quality is so good their set for 2 was plentiful, and a great array of meats. Also the pork belly is DELICIOUS such thick slice,Our server was always quick to attend to us, and constantly roasted our meat so it wouldn't burn. I highly recommend this place!

Great food and great service!! We really enjoyed everything. The meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The veggies were unlimited and very tasty. Our 13 year old girls loved it too - something for everyone. The corn cheese was everyone's favorite Will definitely return. Ask for Dana ~ she cooked for us and gives excellent service!

I've been here twice since they first opened. The interior is lovely. I love that they prepare the meat on site (butcher shop style) and you can see all the different cuts. They specialize in beef but there are pork options as well. The quality of meat is great, however it is expensive. The banchans is where they really shine. Each side dish tastes homemade and the flavor is unmatched. They do switch out the dressing for the salad. I wasn't a fan of the ones I had, I prefer the traditional dressing. The service was good and attentive. Overall, I would try at least once. It's one of the better high-end korean BBQs in the area. Great for special occasions.

Leaving a review after a second visit since the first time was for a soft opening. The meat quality is pretty unmatched considering all the KBBQ places in the area. It's juicy, tender, and fresh considering there's a mini butcher shop in the restaurant. I highly recommend beef choices over pork since that's their specialty. The other dishes, such as naengmyun (cold noodles) and stews, are also very solid. They mentioned the side dishes change pretty often depending on what the cook feels like making. I've had varieties of the side dishes and they are seasoned and pair really well with the meat. One thing I noticed though is that the side dishes take up A LOT of space on the table. If you order meat, they place the entire tray on the table so it gets packed really quickly. Unfortunately it does ruin the experience, so I think it'd be better if they decreased the amount of side dishes that come out or just find a better way to utilize the table space. Service-wise, my first and second visits were very different. When I went for the soft opening, service was really good and I didn't feel rushed. When I came today, they were way busier than the last time. The way they do it requires one server to basically stay at the table and cook the meat the entire time so it's basically one server to a table. I'm not sure how feasible this system is with all of the tables they have and how short staffed they seem to be. It was unfortunate that as soon as we came in, we felt rushed and could feel how anxious the servers/owner felt while tending to our table. Nonetheless, one of the owners cooked the meat for us since the other servers were busy and another owner came by to apologize and ask if they could make it up. It wasn't necessary but we greatly appreciated the gesture. Overall, granted the meat quality stays the same, I would still come here. I don't think I would bring anymore friends or family until they get more staff or service becomes more consistent. But, I do think the owners care a lot about the service and quality of food so I'm rooting for them!

It's a new restaurant, so my family went there for dinner for the first try. lol. This may be the best restaurant for you if you are looking for the best quality meat and taste of food rather than affordable price. Yes, a little pricy. BUT the meat was at an absolute premium. The side dishes were also delicious. We are a member of 4, but 3 of us are female. We don't eat much. If it is the same case with you like us, I don't recommend a combo menu for 4 people. We barely ate them all. I strongly recommend ordering something other than the combo menu and eating only the meat you want. The salad was delicious, and the Cold Noodle also had a unique and fantastic taste. If there is a chance, I will go again.

Wow! Best KBBQ I've had anywhere including Korea! The best Ribeye and pork belly I've had in my entire life. So soft and full of flavor! The other meats were all exceptional too! The side dishes were all amazing! The soybean soup was exceptional! I'd give ten stars for the service! Our waitress was just so exceptional and attentive. Ambiance was modern and the charcoal was a step above your typical gas fired kbbq grill in terms of flavor! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Meat was delicious, sides were not as good as other KBBQ I've had. Drink selection is weak. Service was good but confusing and no one explained what anything was.

Came for their lunch specials! Their lunch specials are Monday-Saturday from 11:30am-2:30pm. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quite busy. They had lots of options on their lunch menu. I got the spicy beef brisket soup, and my friend got the bulgogi lunch box. The spicy beef soup I got was packed with beef brisket, radish, glass noodles and vegetables. It was a hearty and flavorful soup but wish it was a little spicier. The bulgogi lunch box was packed! It came with a side salad, dumplings, Korean mashes potatoes, kimchi, rice and lots of bulgogi. It also came with a side soup! The salad dressing was so delicious and had a unique pink color to it. I thought the lunch box was so worth it! There were also lots of side dishes that came with our meal. The tofu was perfectly marinated and so soft. I also loved that they gave us the chili peppers and samjang. The service and food were also very fast. Overall, I would recommend this place and I can't wait to come back to try their bbq.

I was craving yukhoe bad but it's so expensive around here. This was 10 dollars at lunch for this delicious, ample amount of food. You should go here. I recommend this highly

It just wasn't good. Not much else to say. And I love Korean BBQ. It was also very expensive. Better off going to Iron Age or breakers.

We've been here several times already. The service is great. Side dishes are plentiful and really good- one of our fav of the KBBQs in the area. They also have grilled onions and squash. I will say I'm not as fond of their salad dressing compared to other places, but all in all solid food. Their Cow Wow Marinated Short Rib is so goodddd. Def have to try it!

Back in ATL! Didn't feel like all you can eat, so tried this spot. Did the 4 person combo meat, which is what you see in my pic. Portion is good for 4 adults and compared to all you can eat, the meat quality is better. You get what you pay for, so expect to pay a bit more. Service was good and waitress was attentive to our needs. Ambiance is good for any occasion, and would have no problem accommodating families with kids. Ample parking as it's in a large shopping center.

New Korean bbq in suwanee. Nice ambiance better then most in the area. Food so so. The meats excellent. The bonchon I've had better. I'm Korean and pretty much know what it should taste like. The tofu stew from miso is very watery not really a stew. Everything else was ok. Not great but great meat. Will try again.

Great service and quality food. The atmosphere and ambiance were open and friendly. The smoke from the pit was not overwhelming at all, so we didn't leave smelling like smoke.

Of all the KBBQ places, this is my favorite KBBQ place in America. The thing that sets it apart from other places like 9292 or 678 is the meat quality. I've been here several times, and each time, it's been great. The only better meat quality I've had at a KBBQ place are the ones that serve Hanwoo in Korea. Customer service has been excellent for the most part. I highly recommend Cow Wow if you're looking for high-quality KBBQ in the metro ATL area.

We had a great experience here for 3 people. We got the combo bbq for 2 and figured we could get more food if needed but with the rice, it ended up being enough food for two women and 1 man. The combo for 2 was a little over $100 with a variety of marinated and unmarinated meat. My favs are always the brisket and then they ended with the softer marinated cuts, which I enjoyed as well. This combo came with unlimited side dishes, a bean paste soup, steamed eggs, and cheese corn. I was very impressed with the kind and consistent service as well as the side dishes variety and flavoring. Every side dish was good which is really rare. The music wasn't too loud like most kbbq places and the service was good through out for all our meat cutting and cooking. Lots of large booth seating was available. This is located in the plaza next to the Suwanee hmart. Easy and ample parking. Would definitely come back!

The Food was extremely fresh and very yummy! Our waitress was very kind and did a very good job cooking! Her name was Danna. The ambiance had a very nice vibe and the restaurant was very clean! Highly recommend any one who loves meat to come her

Wow indeed! My girlfriend had mentioned that a new Korean BBQ had opened up and wanted to try it. She knows that I am a glutton, so she had warned me that it was not an AYCE, and that it was a bit pricier than normal. Fortunately for myself, my interest was already piqued by its name - Cow Wow. Let's start off by saying that the interior setting / ambiance was so different from your typical KBBQ. It has a hints of downtown street vibes with clean modern kitchen setting. Hard to explain, but it was definitely pleasing to the eyes! Cow Wow has a glass display of its proteins that they would freshly cut / prepare upon order as you can observe from the elevated seating area. Service was impeccable! The attention to detail was beyond expectations. You would have a staff member curate your protein cooking process from start to finish - literally your entire order. It was a nice, elegant with a hint of non-intrusive type of service. Food ... Where do I start? I mean that's why we mainly read / write these reviews right? It was most likely the best quality proteins that I have ever gotten at a restaurant. I tend to like my proteins a bit more charred, but I gave full trust in the staff when cooking it and I don't regret it one bit. It was just something that I cannot put my finger on, but this place will definitely be one of places I cannot say no to when its thrown into the idea pool. Overall, Cow Wow is such a refreshing place to eat at complemented by its staff and keen eye for detail. Yes, the prices are a bit more than your average KBBQ spot, but you are given back an dining experience of astounding value. Will be frequenting this spot more often in the future and quite interested in its future growth!

Cow Wow Korean BBQ is currently in its soft opening phase and is a promising addition to the Korean BBQ dining scene in Suwanee. The restaurant's decor is a delightful mix of traditional and modern, highlighted by a display of quality meats as soon as you walk in. This visual showcase sets the tone for the culinary journey ahead and underscores the restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness. We opted for the Combo for Two during our visit, priced at $110. This generous selection included thin-sliced brisket, boneless short rib, pork neck, marinated short rib, and marinated short rib finger. Each cut of meat was exceptional, with the marinated short rib standing out as the star. The combo also came with a steamed egg, corn with cheese, and mushrooms. They use a charcoal grill at the center of each table, letting the server cook the meats to your preference, adding a fun and engaging element to the meal. A bonus is each table is equipped with a vent to effectively air out the barbecue smell, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Every meal comes with an array of banchan - Korean side dishes. From the traditional, perfectly spiced kimchi to the refreshing cucumber salad, these side dishes provide a delightful contrast to the rich flavors of the barbecue. My favorite among the sides was the banchan, specifically the Jap Chae noodles. Despite being in its soft opening, the service at Hanjang was top-notch. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and the grilling process. The price point is slightly higher than average. It's important to note that the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience justify this premium. Worth a visit!

A few things to know about this place. It's not AYCE, but I felt the portions and pricing definitely met expectations, and we all had plenty to feast on. A few things really stood out about our experience. (1) the vent is lowered right above the grill, so you don't don't sit in smoke the whole time and leave this place smelling like meat! (2) a few super good freebies came with our meal--soybean stew, steamed egg, and cheese and corn. (3) the Cow Wow marinated ribs. We also ordered thinly sliced brisket and marinated beef, but the Cow Wow really wow'ed every one of us! I would order that one three times over any other cut. (4) everyone was so super nice and attentive!

I've heard good things about Cow Wow and since it was close to my house, my mom and I decided to check this place out for 4th of July. We went around 6pm on the holiday and the place was actually pretty empty for a holiday. I'm not sure if they're still in the opening phase. Unfortunately, unlike the high reviews you see here, I did not have an excellent service here at all. I'll go ahead and begin with what made it 2 stars vs. 1. The food is good -- the meat is actually good and fresh -- we ordered the 2-person combo ($109.99), which was actually pretty expensive but I know inflation is crazy and it was a holiday and I wanted to treat my mom to a nice meal so it was not a big deal. It came with pork shoulder, ribeye, marinated pork ribs, and joomooluk. The combos also come with soybean paste stew, corn cheese and egg souffle. The steamed egg souffle was not as tasty -- it was not seasoned at all and tasted so bland. Everything else was pretty solid. Unfortunately, that is all that was good for us. We got sat and waited nearly 10 minutes before our waiter came to us and we had to press the button for her to come. No water - no nothing. I thought it was maybe they were busy or understaffed, but it seemed like there were 4 servers with only 8-9 tables in the restaurant. The place got slower and slower throughout our time there and our service got worse and worse. Our meat came out to the table and we had to wait another 5-10 minutes -- we were getting impatient so we started cooking the meat ourselves. Then our server came running to us and told us we shouldn't be cooking the meat. I literally was like "You seem too busy to be checking on us so we just started" and then she just started cooking the meat. It seemed like things were going okay... but in the middle of our meal, our server literally DISAPPEARED with galbi cooking on the grill. We know galbi is very sensitive to cooking time or it'll burn -- especially because it is marinated so we ended up cooking the meat. The manager then stopped by to "apologize" saying they were extremely busy. At this point, there were maybe 5-6 tables in the restaurant. I said it's fine, and he asked if there's anything we need - I asked if we can get some more banchan. He said okay, and took all the empty plates. After that, we pretty much never encountered another employee -- he didn't bring us more banchan. He actually even took our tongs with meat grilling on the grill AGAIN - so I literally had to walk across the restaurant to the table that had all the kitchen equipment and grab tongs myself. We just asked for our check and paid and left. I know it was 2 people, but we're paying a meal that's over $100.. That is no way to treat a customer. It's a waste because the place is actually pretty good, but I will definitely not be returning here.

Terrible service. Horrible reception. Dozens of empty tables and they wanted us to wait 30 minutes for a table without even a waiting area. 770 korean bbq is right across the street. They have a good lunch special for $9.99 for certain menu items, so we had to come and try it. There was a line 10 mins prior to opening, but the staff was quick to seat us once it hit their opening time. I was surprised by how fast the place filled up. Regardless, we ordered the galbitang and beef tartare bibimbap. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive. The veggies in the bibimbap were really fresh, and the meat on the bone in the soup fell off easily. Our server was nice and got us whatever we needed, however, seemed rush by the amount of people she had to serve. Otherwise, it was so good that I will be coming back here to try other menu items on the lunch special, and also outside of it!!

Came in for their lunch special. Only 9.99 and it's amazing. The kalbitang is really good and for 9.99 it's a steal. Also forgot to mention we have had their Omaha and it's almost like eating wagyu.. the marbling, the tenderness, the flavor... it's all so good.

Pretty good - quality meat, quality charcoal and individual "hose vent fan" to suck the smoke away. A bit rushed tabletop cooking service that you may ask to slow down. The star of the day was the steak with hints of rosemary; usually the steak gets overcooked at most places and become lonely at the grill skirts, drying out straight into the garbage, but that rosemary smoke saved it from the oblivion. Not sure if this was the seasoning or the meat being less-than-fresh, but the marinated galbi and rib meat aka "neukgansal" tasted a bit sour, making me inquire about whether they were freshest to serve.. The combo for 4 was adequate to feed three adult males, may have to get a serving or some carbs to fill up to leave filled to the core. Definitely will give an another visit to check up on that galbi issue we had.
