The 20 Best LA Bars With Activities

"Trends come and go, but this bar in North Long Beach is forever faithful to its country theme. Extremely on brand for its name, Cowboy Country is a real saloon where people wearing big hats come to line dance and show off their new boots. There’s a mechanical bull to ride if you’re brave enough, live folk bands who perform on stage, and some decent bar food like burgers and hot dogs. Mainly, you should come here to boot scoot boogie until 2am in a room full of friendly cowboys." - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren

Note there may be cover fees depending on the time you arrive! Lots of things to do, food, playing pool, there’s a little clothing/accessory shop, a mechanical bull to ride, main dance floor on 1st floor and small one on the top level. The lady at the entrance that is charging the cover fees is super rude but just get past her and you’ll have fun line dancing inside. Some of the people at the bar are also rude. There is a minimum $20 purchase if you only have card. Sometimes they have line dancing lessons for a fee, check them out! Also parking sucks, get there early or uber!

A fun country bar! Great music. Don't miss Just Dave Band. Go to the bar upstairs -- the bartenders are the best!

Google
Great spot for line dancing! Fantastic live music. Big place, several bars, food (bring cash). I had such a blast with my partner and close friends for a little birthday shindig here. Only thing to be wary of - there are some biker gangs that hang here towards the end of the night. Didn’t have any trouble with them, but just so you’re not surprised to see them. They seemed to just be there to hang out and enjoy as well.

Google
Food is cash only. Ugh. Sauces cost extra. Entry is free before 7pm. Cash only. $5 till 9pm after that it’s $10. Very dive bar in the good way. Everyone’s welcome. Free bull rides on Friday’s. Re-entry. they have a taco man but he’s on Saturday not Friday’s. Literally people show up however it’s the vibe you bring not the fit. Show up and have fun. Do NOT park in WINCO. There a medical building next door to winco and they use that lot. Winco likes to tow.

Google
I didn't try the food, but it is a huge country western bar painted like a barn on the outside, with a DJ and a live band. And a mechanical bull. Line dancing too. There is an upstairs bar with a balcony where you can overlook the lower area.

Google
This is more a dance-hall than what I'd say is a bar or club. The patrons add so much atmosphere to nights here. Roomy, with perfect sound. Its a Great place to share with friends, or comfortable enough to make some new friends there.

Google
I didn't try the food. The atmosphere is awesome for those of us who love country music. Staff was friendly and the band was amazing. I had stopped going here because I thought it was too far but I'd say it's worth the drive! Can't wait to go again!

Google
Great vibe and environment, but apparently the service is hit or miss with a chance of personal aggression. Decided to go to this place based on my wife’s recommendation and immediately felt an attitude from the bartender even after trying to initiate conversation on the baseball game he was obviously watching on his phone. After our first round, we attempted to get his attention but we were eventually served by another bartender. I asked the gentleman serving us if the tip I left him would be distributed equally amongst all of them (which didn’t seem fair). He confirmed it would, so I left the gentleman who initially served us a deserving $1 tip complete with a recommendation to serve everyone equally. The “bartender” who felt offended approached me and said if I had anything to say I could say it to his face. Which I welcomed with, “we can discuss this outside anytime.” Within minutes, security was telling me I had to leave. Waited outside like a gentleman. Sweetheart never showed up :(

Yelp
Friday nights: line dance heavy, and a lot of cowboy chacha songs mixed in saturday: half line dance / half two step & swing the staff are great, the regulars are all friendly. great place to come out and dance :) the classes beforehand get crowded so come early if you are trying to learn. and it's hard to find male leads some nights, but that's an LA problem and not a venue problem.

Yelp
As an avid dancer at the honky tonks (Stoneys, Gilley's) in Las Vegas, I was eager to experience this one in Long Beach. I happened to arrive on the night of their 21st anniversary. There is plenty of square footage to walk around downstairs and upstairs. Both ends of the bottom floor have a dance floor. There is another upstairs. The wall memorabilia is fun to look at. The retail items are amusing with their innuendos. The patrons and bartenders are congenial. The live band was fun. The vibe is more easygoing than what I'm used to in Las Vegas. The crowd is more genuinely country compared to most of the country-goers at the Vegas dancehalls who simply dress country. The line dances were different than how I know them, but I got out there anyway. I also got to two-step with one of the locals. Drinks are cheaper than Stoney's in Las Vegas. For example, $6 for a whiskey and soda, compared to $12.

Yelp
4.5 stars...review from an avid line dancer They played a good mix throughout the night- it was a live band (pretty good considering I'm a bit picky for live bands) and DJ for band breaks. As an out-of-towner, I was able to dance about 60% or more of the time. I like the layout of the place with plenty of seating. I don't know if they allow song requests as the DJ booth is on a platform and didn't look accessible. I also didn't ask, so that's kinda on me as well. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Yelp
First tip... bring cash! If you don't have cash for the door one person in your party has to go in and use an ATM and pay a fee. Only one person is allowed to go use the ATM. The food is also cash only. My favorite part of the venue was upstairs. The upstairs bartenders were on top of their business, the view to down below was good for people watching and the upstairs dance floor seemed more fun and chill. I knocked off 2 stars for the regulars. I don't live in LA, just in town for a visit and chose to come here for the vibes and the regulars weren't friendly. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday night 9pm. We found a table with 6 chairs empty. There was one jacket on one chair and figured no problem we asked around and table was good to go as far as the neighboring tables knew. So we took 3 of the chairs to sit in. We placed orders for drinks. Maybe 20 min later a group of 6 walk up and say this is their table and that's why the jacket was there!!!! They were obvious regulars because they knew the whole schedule and routines. I'm a nice person but those girls weren't. Doesnt speak well for the community that goes there. I gave up my seat but really? I had to stand there and wait for my drink too. Awkward mean girl vibes. How about leave someone at the table to save it in the future? Anyways, the music was good and the upstairs that seemed less regular crowd was great. Drinks were reasonably priced as well.

Yelp
Ok so this was my first time here and I'm not gonna lie this is definitely not my kind of music or vibe but came for a coworkers birthday and It wasn't that bad they had 2 full bars and a kitchen the only bad thing it's cash only at the door and kitchen so that kinda sucks since they take card everywhere but the crowd and atmosphere was cool we did have a really good time .

Yelp
Atmosphere was great. Good live music and the dance instructor really knew what he was doing. I would love to check this place out again. Never knew this place existed but definitely glad we were able to check this little gem out. Decent food as well and they had pool tables upstairs. It was surprisingly popping for a Wednesday evening. Friendly crowd and the music was entertaining. What really stood out was the live music which was fantastic as well as the instructor that taught line dancing. I can see why so many people come here. If you do come bring cash. No cards accepted. Didn't check to see if they had an atm but bring cash just in case you want to partake in the libations. Cheers!

Isabel T.

Yelp
Fun bar, with cheap drinks. If you get there before 7 it's free entry. Only downside is they do not offer an elevator (that I know of) to the second floor. Which is challenging to some of my friends. The dance instructors are always great as well.

Yelp
Don't shop here!! The seller is sooo rude and shouldn't be selling if she can't speak to people. The lady made me feel so awful. All I wanted was to feel the texture of the shirt so I grabbed a shirt from the packages and she snatched it from me and said " I have a sample!".I follow rules, if there was a sign that said that we were not allowed to touch anything, I wouldn't have grabbed the shirt. She's an awful representative of a customer service rep and she shouldn't work there if she doesn't have the skills to talk to people... Remember your business reflex's on your leadership;Poor leadership = poor business. Period. The 2 stars was because I had a great time, the music was great, the bartenders were fantastic but someone speaking so little to me can easily ruin my night and that is exactly what this seller did, so my friends and I decided to go home. I didn't have the heart to tell my friend to leave the items down that I had picked for her, that I had encouraged her to buy - however, it's the last time I'll step foot into that shop!

Yelp
My Sister in-law celebrated her birthday here. Was my 1st time coming here. If you like country you won't be disappointed. The band was great, playing all the hits and the beer is cheap. They got all kinds of beer n tall cans. There's a mechanical bull if you feel adventurous after some drinks or you can dance. Fun environment. I had a blast.

Yelp
It was my first time and I was very surprised. The parking lot is plane. Don't be fooled. As soon as I entered, it felt like I entered a movie set. I transported to cowboy country! The decor. The people - dressed in cowboy attire - the boots, hat, shorts, bolo, etc. I loved the dancing. I came early with friends and we took the class. A bit hard to follow but people didn't care if we weren't following 100%. It was not intimidating. People were there to have fun! I'm not a fan of country music but enjoyed myself. There was a live band. Tips: Come before 7 to avoid paying the entrance fee. It's cash only for food and it's upstairs. There's an ATM machine by the entrance. The food was pretty good - Sandwiches, onion rings, fried zucchini, fries, etc. People don't come here for the food so if you like good food, eat before coming. Come early because parking gets filled up quickly. Plus you can take the dance lesson. Wear cowboy attire. People are in cowboy attire. Many were very stylish. Lots of girls wearing Jean shorts, boots and a cute top. Lots of regulars here. They come to dance and have fun. There are more women and men. It's a good girls night out. There were many couples dancing too but you don't need a partner to dance. Ages are mixed. I had a really good time.
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
Fun line dancing, diverse friendly crowd, and decent food. They have their own parking lot but it does fill up and you can take lessons but they do expect people to know how to do the line dances while they are going on so it's not super beginner friendly

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night with my friend! They had a band for live music which would play in sets throughout the night. In between sets, the DJ played some line dance songs and two step. This bar had more of a middle aged crowd than what I tend to see at country bars that I've been to in Northern California but I think the live music tends to draw the non-young adults. The space had two dance floors - one main one and a side one. It was pretty fun to try out some line dances on the small dance floor when two step was happening on the main one. Beware they don't take card at the door. They have an ATM but easiest if you just bring cash for your cover!

Yelp
One of the funnest country saloons around! Always good vibes, good food, and great live music.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a couple years now and Zane has always treated me well with respect and has been on top of my orders. Always love coming here when she is here! Keep up the great customer service and great work Zane!

Yelp
I love line dancing. I went to CC on Saturday night. It's a fun environment. Here are my thoughts: PROS: * dance instructor was very thorough and taught well. Both lessons were fun and engaging for the whole crowd * Live band was nice to listen to and played a variety of classic and newer country * The mechanical bull was available when it's usually only out on Fridays * As long as you're not running into other people, you can do whatever line dance or partner dance on the floor during a song CONS: * Until the first dance lesson at 7:00pm, the DJ had the music really low. Like you could barely hear it when dancing * it's so hot in there even when you're not moving * Waiting up to 10 minutes to get a drink at the bar * I was told the bartender won't provide water cups unless you have a tab open. I asked for water with no ice so I won't have to get water as often and the bartender told me that she has to serve it with ice? * DJ and live band played a lot of different songs but called the same dances over and over again. Idk how many times you can do the California Cha Cha, cowboy cha cha or the Tush Push ‍ Overall, it's a fun dive bar-y country scene and I do enjoy going there with friends but it's not for the line dancer.

Yelp
This place was so much fun! I came out on a Saturday night and the place was packed out. The best part was the diversity of the crowd in attendance! There are two dance floors where line dancing and partner dancing takes place. Ladies please be prepared to dance when coming here the guys are going to ask even if you don't know how they are more than willing to teach you so don't be shy get out on the dance floor and enjoy yourself! Make those memories. My only critique is they need to update their payment system. They're still using cash registers from the 80s lol. They only have one credit/debit (that went down a couple times during the night) card machine which slows down the process significantly so I recommend bring CASH to make life easier. There's plenty of seating and standing room and great for large groups and celebrations. They had a dj and a live band alternate playing music. Also Uber here parking can get a bit crazy on busy nights. Drinks are average price Food closes at 9pm $10 cover charge Staff is friendly
google avatar

Leticia F.

Yelp
This a fun place!!! I recommend it. They don't serve food but you can have food delivered to the bar and the drinks are great!! The waitress was very nice. Dancing is encouraged and dance floor is full at all time. Bonus: free dance lessons at 7:00 pm

Yelp
Went on a Saturday night with some friends. There were a ton of tables but any empty table we saw had "reserved" signs The server was nice but when we tried to close our tab we were told we had to go to the bar to close it out. But when we went to the bar and after waiting about 15mins the bartender who was a bit rude, told us we had to close out with our server. So we looked around for a while looking for her. Finally when we found her she told us to follow her to the bar and then were told we had to wait for someone to process the credit cards, we were all pretty annoyed at this point and waited at the bar for another 10mins until they finally gave us our cards back. In other words, bring cash it definitely seemed easier than waiting around for one specific person to process our cards. Besides that the music was great and they had dance lessons at 7 and 8. We just ordered drinks which were nothing special, not sure if they actually had food.

Yelp
Me and my friends went to have a good time here which we definitely did! The line dance is so much fun even if you don't know how to dance there are times when somebody is teaching you some moves, the ambience is fun, automated bull, live music and good drinks too. The food is Not good at all, it seems exactly like we are buying food from the snack shack at a park and you have to go and order and pick up the food upstairs and you bring it to your table. I was thinking of giving a 3 stars because of the food but the music, dance, ambiance and drinks are a 5 star.

Mary S.

Yelp
Ambiance is very country and a lot of fun. If you like fine dining, this is not the place. Bar food only. Line dancing lessons are free and no pressure.

Corinne G.

Yelp
I just wanted to say I have had amazing experiences every time I've come. I also want to say Kristina C that left a review gave a lot of false information. I witnessed what happened and she came walking up right away screaming and being rude screaming demands. Of course a bartender is going to tell you you're being rude. What do you expect? You're not part of the royal family and you're not going to get service right away when it's busy. You can also get close to the bartender to talk like a normal person if it's so loud yet it wasn't. No credit card was thrown at you. It was tossed to you because of the frustration you were causing. Do this bar a favor and never come back. Zane is amazing and so respectful! It's okay to defend yourself while working food and beverage. Too many entitled people! Get a life Kristina!!!
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Fun spot to enjoy the country music scene -- and I'm not even a big country music fan! I came here on the weekend and the place was buzzing, but not overly busy. Loved getting to learn the line dance lessons and would come back again to dance again. The bartenders and wait staff were all really friendly. Plenty of space inside to find a spot to hang out since it's got two full floors with the main dance floor downstairs. There's also pool tables, giant jenga, beer pong tables, and supposedly mechanical bull on Friday nights! Not to mention this fun retail side with some naughty items haha.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
If country is your thing, this is the place for you. Parking is limited so early arrival is recommended. You can bring cake and gifts but no outside food or drinks are allowed. They have a $5 cover charge and it's cash only. They have two stages for dancing. There is also a Photo Booth which appears to be down. The food was your usual fried bar food nothing out of the ordinary. If you are sat at the table there is a server that comes around to take your order however we always missed her. The crowd is definitely all over the place and it's an all ages affair.
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
Such a good time! Great, friendly crowd, fun dance lessons and good music too. Drinks were a little weak, but beer will do here. We will def be back
google avatar

Nanette A.

Yelp
The atmosphere is so much fun!!!! I would totally recommend this place for some line dancing, simple bar food and pool table fun. I love that they give you dance lessons; that makes it less intimidating for those that have never line dance before.
google avatar

Christine N.

Yelp
I F*CKIN LOVE THIS PLACE!! I've always enjoyed country music and have been coming here for years. Cowboy Country is super diverse and has a good mix of people in every night it's open. I was taught the basics of the two step and line dancing by two friends (one who is Mexican and one who is Cambodian) and everyone here is super friendly. Come in early to avoid the $5 entrance fee (though I don't mind paying it to support CC staying open!) They have great drink options (don't forget to tip the bartenders generously!!) and good bar food and snacks to hold you over. I've brought my husband (then boyfriend and fiancé) to learn to dance too. We ended up doing a country two step at our fusion Hindu Indian, Catholic Vietnamese wedding in downtown New York City. We love coming here when we are in town and look forward to more fun times in the future!

Yelp
Lakewood prides themselves on "Times change, values don't", but Cindy at the food stand inside Cowboy Country begs to differ. Super rude and righteous, burnt our sweet potato fries to a charcoal crisp, and she acts like she funds the manufacturing of the paper plate factory. I was so appalled at my interaction with her that I spoke with Brad, the manager on duty, and he apologized on her behalf and said they have been receiving a lot of complaints about Cindy and her poor attitude / performance. Everything else at cowboy country is awesome. Fun crowd, lots of dancing space, mechanical bull, and the women at the retail store are kick ass- cute and wide supply of cowboy hats and clothes.

Yelp
Today started off as an amazing Friday and turned into a shit show around 1am. I was upstairs when I saw a female riding the bull with no pants. I immediately went downstairs to the gentleman controlling the bull and asked when it became acceptable to subject the rest of the patrons to indecent exposure. He acted as if he had no clue what I was talking about so I asked to speak to his supervisor. He directed me behind the bar. I walked over there and waited for someone to acknowledge me. I then asked that gentleman the same question and he pretended that he had no clue what I was talking about and said he would find his supervisor. I then saw that same female who rode the bull with no pants hugging members of the staff. My friend and I wanted to ride the bull but will never consider it again because of this experience. It is clear that they are allowing someone to expose themselves to the rest of the establishment without giving the customers a choice as to whether or not they would be subjected to such inappropriate activities. If I wanted to go to a gentleman's club then I would have done so. Cowboy country is the last place I would expect to feel uncomfortable at because of public indecency. Not a good look!

Gabriella G.

Yelp
I usually love this bar, I've been coming the past couple years and it has been such a fun time. Recently BAR SERVICE SUCKS. They NEED a better card system instead of just laying all the cards out on a table. the older ladies at the bar cannot keep up and seem grumpy and unwilling to close out your tab. Be prepared to have your credit card held hostage. We brought a new friend hoping to convince her to start coming to cowboy country... and the wait and attitude at the bar made her want to never return. For the potential patrons: still come to cowboy country! It's a fun time, great ambiance Just be aware you might have to wait a while for your card. For the manager: please get a better card system or at the very least get bartenders who can keep up the pace with a decent attitude. I know people will come regardless... but I wouldn't be surprised if you lose revenue on drinks due to this problem.

Yelp
I used to adore this place! Back in 2014, I actually learned how to dance the 2-step at Cowboy Country. However, I stopped going because the DJs seemed to focus solely on the younger crowd, even during early evening hours when mostly older folks were present. It was frustrating to witness their lack of knowledge about playing the appropriate songs for specific dances. For example, if you called for a Cha Cha, they should play Cha Cha music. After being absent for a while, I thought I'd give it another try since it's conveniently close to my house. Unfortunately, nothing has changed; in fact, it has worsened. I'm almost certain that the DJ is either hearing impaired or deliberately trying to impair everyone else's hearing. The music is blasted at such a high volume that holding a conversation at a table becomes impossible. Additionally, the DJ primarily plays line dancing music that isn't even country. All we ask for is a balanced playlist, with a rotation between line dancing and 2-step every 3-4 songs on the main floor. This lack of variety discourages other dancers, both men and women, from making the drive. It's such a shame! On the positive side, whenever I do manage to attend, the customers are wonderful, fun, and friendly. The bar food is surprisingly good, and I particularly enjoy the little store run by Debbie. The security staff is friendly and professional, adding a sense of safety to the experience.

Yelp
Good music, Beautiful and friendly people. Great place to spend a night out, date night, or entertain guests.

Jamie F.

Yelp
My friends and I have frequented this bar for a couple years because we love all things country. Overall, this bar has a great atmosphere, music, drinks, friendly people, etc. I'd say the most popular thing about this bar is that on Friday nights they bring in a mechanical bull which is "free". I use quotations for the following reason: the bull used to be totally free but those days are over. The guy who previously operated the mechanical bull was awesome. You'd get on, get comfy, and he start you off nice and slow. If you stayed on, he'd increase the difficulty little by little. The ride usually lasted about 50-80 seconds depending on your skill. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. They recently hired a new operator and the guy is a total pr*ck. What they should say now is: "For free, you can get on the bull and let our operator try to break your neck. But for a tip, you can ride the bull". The guy even had a sign that says "the better the tip, the better the ride". If you don't tip, expect for this guy to immediately kick the bull into overdrive and laugh when you fall off and hurt yourself. During our last visit, we asked the operator if he could please chill out with the intensity of the ride as two of our friends had fallen off pretty hard. He said, "Yeah, I could" and pointed to the tip jar. It was our friend's 21st birthday and, after seeing how this guy operated the bull, they didn't want to ride for fear of injury. As soon as you sit down on that bull, expect for this guy to try and hurt you. Doesn't matter if you are a man or woman, if you aren't prepared to tip don't expect a fair chance. Super bummed that our favorite Friday night activity is ruined. Hope this guy gets a reprimand before someone snaps their spine and ends up in a wheelchair.

Yelp
This place wasn't too bad at all. My parents really enjoyed that we went for their birthday. We really enjoyed the music and the bartenders were extremely nice and the dance instructor was a lot of fun. If you're looking to go and have a good time, I highly recommend it. The food is just OK and kind of typical of what you will expect from an established like this, so you cannot be too harsh. Bring cash.

Christina G.

Yelp
the ambience and people are generally fun. but the bar service SUCKS. I've had a terrible experience with the bartenders every time. They're incredibly rude and one time they gave my card away to someone else. They were halfway down the road and had to be called to come back. Most recently, a group of people took our table while we were dancing and then gave our drinks to the security staff to pick up, even though they were still 1/2 full. when I went to the bartender to let her know they took my wine, she preceded do argue with me saying they wouldn't have taken my drink if it wasn't empty. luckily, it was still on the bar and I pointed it out to her. then without saying anything, she begrudgingly made me a new glass of wine, but in a BROKEN GLASS! cowboy country is a fun time, but they seriously need a new bar staff. the older ladies there are especially rude and inhospitable.
google avatar

Annika W.

Yelp
We had a fun time but their main patrons are elderly... so if you are looking for a cool, hip country bar I don't recommend but hey the drinks are cheap and the dances are fun :)

K N.

Yelp
This bar expects a $20 credit card minimum for drinks. Nothing was mentioned to me about this when I gave them my credit card. I now see in previous reviews that there was a warning about this. Drinks are affordable, but I was going to be driving so I requested to close my tab. The female bartender got furious with me throwing my credit card at me while putting me down in front of my friend! What kind of establishment does this?! I hope management rethinks their cc drink policy or makes sure to post signage and have bartenders explain to all customers. I understand it's difficult for businesses with minimum wage going up, but rudeness to a customer should never be tolerated.

Yelp
Gr8 place.. the music/DJ is amazing. The live bands are also good. I love that they have 2 floors and both floors have bars. They have a bull if you wanna ride.... The drink r made all and the atmosphere is fun. If you're into country music, this is the place to go.

My first time there, I met some friends there and I had an open tab. I only bought myself a drink and the person that I was with so that was 2 drink when I went to go close tab the person that was helping me (ZANE) and had my tab open when I went to go close it she was very rude and Raul bar help noticed that she took two people that just walked up to the bar before myself so I walked over and I told her that she took two people before me and I was there before them and she ( ZANE) told me I was rude because I was yelling at her well the music was very loud wasn't yelling at her mind You I only had one beer because I was driving so I told her you cost yourself your tip so she went to tell the other bartender what I had said that was on the other side of her that I was rude. I'm guessing that's what she told her so when she closed out my tab, she threw my credit card at me and I had let Raul know that she threw my credit card at me and therefore she didn't charge me for my drink so I asked I go but I was going to close my tab but I wanted to purchase two bottles of water so he's the one that told me that she wasn't gonna charge me so I asked him to charge me for two bottles of water and he also went to the other bartender on the other side what she did, she took two customers before me so therefore she came to me where I was sitting at the bar and told me because I was rude because I had attitude and I yelled at her I did not yell at her. Mind you The music was very loud. It was crowded . It's too bad that bar tenders like Zane makes all the other bartender's at Cowboy Country look bad... Will I go back I don't know... it was a bad experience for my first time.. I think she needs to be trained over again in customer service.. she makes cowboy country look bad for business.. retail customer service is my back ground I use train people in customer service..after all word of mouth is your best advertising.. BTW kudos to Raul.. good looking out. The good thing about it it's a good atmosphere. Lots of fun.

Yelp
It was my first time and I really didn't know what to expect. Saw the positive reviews and went w/ my good friend on a whim. And OH MY GOSH. This place is SO FUUUUUNNNNN!!! We found a whole universe here and there were so many friendly people just having a good time dancing!! Absolutely loved it!! Even if you don't know anything about country someone will teach you!

Yelp
The band was awesome! The "country music" is 75% hip hop bs by the DJ. The restaurant wanted to charge us for a knife to cut our sandwich in 1/2. Our server Eva was great!!

Yelp
I didn't know what to think of this place, we gave it a shot and had a great time. We are not to big on country music, but it was definitely an experience. The drinks were good, the food surprisingly was delicious and the service was decent. They even have a mechanical bull and line dancing classes.

Yelp
I have to say this place is pretty cool on gay night, but the sucky part is that they charge you for a cup of water even if it's a seltzer water like I just sent and they still charge you which is ridiculous. That would make me stop going.

Yelp
Bartender Karissa! Walked up to order twice and both times she pretended like I was not there first time she acted like she was too busy to help us and send us over to her coworker second time I stood there for 10 mins, bar was empty and she kept passing by me like I wasn't waiting there to get my drinks. Went to the other side of the bar and was greeted by another bartender super quick. Other then her being extremely rude, it was a good time.

Yelp
Since I'm from Central Texas, this place is kind of a joke in that line dances are almost all the dances throughout the night. The club itself is fairly nice and the dance floors are good and smooth, but there are no real country bars in Texas like this. And for good reason. Andone can line dance with a telephone pole, but it takes a couple to really dance. Come down to Texas sometime and see what a real country bar looks like.

Yelp
This is very classic county bar. Customers were all dressed up for the occasion. I was here on the Saturday of the memorial weekend. DJ was very interactive with the customers. Instructor was available to give dancing lessons. This is a very fun experience. Customers and servers were very friendly and willing to reach you how to dance.
