The 5 Best Things To Eat In Helen, Georgia During Oktoberfest

"Bison Bratwurst If you’re here for a weekend lunch or dinner during festival season, expect a wait. The steakhouse has a laid-back vibe that visitors love, yet the lengthy menu of pastas and proteins still somehow leaves you feeling like you should tuck in your tank top. This place is for meat lovers with filling items like routine ribeyes and burgers, along with more gamey flavors like the coffee-rubbed elk chop. But our hands-down favorite is the smokey bison brat. By itself, it can hold its own next to all the standard pork links around town. But with the hearty bison chili topping, it’s one of the best sausages on the strip." - demarco williams, juli horsford

Great restaurant! Loved the atmosphere. The live music was REALLY good! Our server Lacey was very attentive and did a great job for us. The food was excellent! I would recommend the sweet corn hush puppies, Gouda Mac and cheese and the steaks. I had the city slicker New York strip and it was cooked perfectly. Great selection of beers, mixed drinks and a decent wine list. I’ll definitely eat here again next time I come to Helen

Steven Romero

Google
Very convenient place since it’s right next to the parking lot. Really like the outdoor seating and pet friendly environment. I stopped in to have a couple of beers and get a quick snack while walking around Helen. Nice selection of both items. On this occasion I got the pork belly appetizer. Recommend this item for sure. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals.

Google
The atmosphere was great, and the food was AMAZING and BEST of all the outstanding service. I personally have A LOT of experience in the food service industry. Adrianne P. Excelled in every possible way to take a great dinner to another level. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way! We will definitely be back to see Adrianne.

Google
One of the best menus out there! My first time there. I heard a customer telling the waitress how good the catfish was. So I decided to get that. Absolutely fresh and awesome. Seasoned just right. You could actually taste the fish. Most places are to greasy and that is mostly what you taste. Not here. Even the tarter sauce was on its own level. The hush puppies were soft and tasty as well. Big portions to get your fill. Waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. But hats off to the chef! Perfect. We caught it before the rush. Usually you have to wait to get a table.

Google
Always the best food & service. We try something different each time we go. Never disappoints. Our favorite are those fried green tomatoes 😋

Google
Great food. Friendly servers. We sat at the bar and the wait time was fast, unlike some restaurants. We ordered the Blue Ridge Burger & Palmetto Bison Burger. Had plenty of drinks.

Solana Maschinot

Google
We had no wait. We sat outside, I liked the atmosphere, and live music. Small area if you want to sit inside. I ordered blackened salmon with greens and the Mac and cheese. My meal was delicious. My kids got grilled cheese and fries and they said theirs was good also. Prices are reasonable.

Google
First thing I'd say is thst McKensie made this meal pop!!! She suggested items that were absolutely amazing. The nachos appetizer are home made and not out of a bag along with the salsa.. the cat fish was cooked to perfection. Will be going back for more later.

Yelp
The food was fairly priced and came out hot and was really good Our server Adrienne was helpful and so friendly. Told us about the town and recommended a drink. We don't drink but it was so good we each had two! Highly recommend. Live music that wasn't too loud well lit and just a great place to be !

Yelp
Busy, but service was excellent Food surprisingly good. I'll explain We sat inside, but if weather good, recommend sit outside and listen to music Ok, we were planning on ordering steaks and seafood. Waitress recommended the angus burgers (special only $9 today). They were tasty and unbelievably juicy !! I believe they were a full half pound even Started with delicious cream of mushroom soup. Added cold water lobster tail for $22. Large and tasty . They have their own free parking lot. Convenient location HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Yelp
I was super excited about this meal during a recent trip to Helen, GA. Despite the hostess LITERALLY screaming names out from the stand, the restaurant had an incredible outdoor dining area that was perfect for our group trip and very spacious. There was music that was a little on the loud side, but the menu was awesome and the wine was flowing and it fed into the overall mood. I was torn between the wedge salad and the fried chicken, so I asked if I could have the wedge salad, but ONE bone-in chicken breast on the side. I was told it was no problem. Fast forward 30 minutes and I got a chopped salad with cold chicken tenders cut up on top. Apparently the wedge salad is a 'chopped wedge salad'??? When the chicken tenders were cold, I asked if I could get what I ordered and was next delivered a boneless chicken breast plopped on top of the same salad...at least it was lukewarm. It was fine. The meal was fine. It was a nice break after 5 chicken schnitzel meals, but I probably wouldn't recommend this as my 1st choice. Still, lovely to sit outside on a nice evening and listen to music while dining with friends!

Yelp
The service that we received from our waiter was fantastic. Very attentive and kind. The food was delicious. We had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Very nice covered outside patio.

Yelp
Drinks were not bad. My gluten free options were limited but tasty. I wouldn't make a special trip here, but a cute little town if you're in the area or passing through. Service was good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We had a lot of recommendations for this place so we tried it out on our Spring Break trip to Helen. The atmosphere was great, there's a big outdoor dining area that was perfect and very spacious. The staff was friendly and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The kids burger was finished in under 5min. The grilled cheese was basic, just how the kids like it. The cheesesteak sandwich was good. The Judy burger was good, it was juicy but if I'm being honest, it didn't have a lot of flavor in the patty. The crab cakes were kind of a disgrace lol. But that's what I get for ordering seafood when we aren't on the coast. They weren't really a "patty" at all, just thrown on a plate and baked(?) with a crusty top that tasted burnt. I was disappointed in that but everything else was good. I would eat here again!

Yelp
After a long day of hiking, we were craving comfort food. We shared the scallops and grits, which were deliciously buttery--definitely a great appetizer, though I could have easily eaten it alone! For my main dish, I had the cheesy chicken breast with grits (they were that good) and corn fritters, which were perfect for refueling. The only downside was the chicken soup. It was supposed to be wild rice chicken soup but turned out to be an overly seasoned broth topped with cayenne pepper. I had to send it back, which took a while since our waitress was busy with both indoor and outdoor tables. The restaurant was laid back, perfectly capturing a cowboy ranch vibe. The rustic decor & warm lighting created a cozy atmosphere, with a live atmosphere. It felt like a welcoming gathering spot, ideal for unwinding after a day outdoors. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

Yelp
This place has a cool vibe. We went here right after Hurricane Helene, and I think they may have been short staffed. They made it easy to order becaus they have "gluten free" noted on the menu. The wedge salad was good but we paid $14 to add scallops and they only gave us two scallops. I love that they have Chasing Venues Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Overall, would recommend!

Joanna Y.

Yelp
Stopped in for late lunch. Got fried green tomatoes & a side of grits. Both were delicious. Only downside was they didn't serve Coke Zero.

Yelp
I would love to give it a 5 but I can't. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it was more medium, almost medium well. I would have said something but the waiter never came back to check. He didn't even bring the bill another waitress did. I could have not eaten it and waited but then I was afraid of what might happen it I sent it back. The steak had good flavor, the greens were awesome the mashed potatoes good. But the steak was by no means medium rare. .

Yelp
The elk is wonderful. Service was great and we had enough in our group that we were seated in the banquet room. They also had live music. Everyone's food was great. The only downside was they let people bring their dogs in the outside area and they seated different groups close. While we were there 2 large dogs got into a fight and were extremely loud and really scared a little girl.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner with my family this past Friday. Cowboys and Angels is located in the heart of Helen. That being said, parking could be tricky, so be mindful of that. The interior has a very southern, cowboy vibe to it. It is a decent sized restaurant, with a lot of seating available. There is a closed off portion of the restaurant and a semi open section that didn't have walls. There were heaters located on the ceiling to prevent the semi-open section from getting too chilly. The service is decent and pretty friendly. Our server was a little slow to get to our table once we were seated. But this was probably due to how busy the restaurant was. We arrived around 4pm and were told to expect a 30-40 minute wait for a table for four. There isn't a lot of standing room available inside and you may have to wait outside until your name is called for your table. We ended up waiting roughly 30 minutes for a table and were seated in the indoor part of the restaurant. I will also note that this section of the restaurant was quite cold for whatever reason. Cowboys and Angels offers a variety of menu items to suite just about anyones taste buds. It was hard to finalize exactly what we wanted to order, but we were very satisfied with what we ended up getting! To start we ordered the steak nachos. This dish featured their house fried tortilla chips topped with cowboy caviar, pickled jalapeños, scratch made queso, salsa verde, sour cream, and ground steak. These nachos hit the spot! The tortilla chips reminded me more of fried pita chips, as they were thicker and airier. The ground steak had a nice flavor to it and paired very nicely with the other components of the dish. And the cowboy caviar was really, really tasty! This was a great starter and perfect for sharing. Would recommend this to share with the table. For our entrees, three of us ordered the pickled peach burger, and my sister ordered the longhorn burger. These took a little longer to come out, but they were certainly worth the wait. All the burger comes with fries, although I opted for sweet corn hush puppies instead. All the burgers are 1/2lb patties and include tomato, onions, lettuce, and pickles, on a brioche bun. The pickled peach burger included their house-made pickled peaches, caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese, and an apple bacon jam. This was really different, but the flavors worked perfectly well together. The sweetness of the peaches and caramelized onions paired with the smokiness of the apple bacon jam and spiciness of the pepper jack made for the perfect burger. The brioche bun also tied it all together nicely. The hush puppies also tasted amazing. You could see the pieces of sweet corn in them and they were not too greasy. I would 100% recommend taking a chance on this burger, it is like nothing I've had before, in a good way! The longhorn burger included applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, and their house-made barbecue sauce. She ordered this on Texas toast and really enjoyed it! I will also add their fries are very, very good as well. Overall, this was a great meal and we really enjoyed it! The restaurant has a fun vibe about it. The service is decent and is pretty efficient considering how busy they get. We loved all our food and were surprised with how good the burgers were. The burgers are quite large and quite filling. All the food we ordered satisfied us and the food we saw being delivered to other tables looked amazing as well. I would try this place out if you are looking for a solid place to eat at while in Helen.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today. Service was good and they were kind of busy. Wife got a carpsia salad she enjoyed. I got a longhorn burger that was huge. I didn't care for BBQ sauce but could just be me. The fries were good. The burger was cooked just as I asked for which doesn't happen much these days. Other than adding a 3.99% card fee the place is great. Even with the card fee I would recommend them.

Yelp
Cowboys and Angels was a great place. Very crowded. The food was delish! We started with the cowboy caviar and it was awesome. Perfectly cooked pita chips, tasty salsa with black eye peas, tomato and full of yumminess. I got a grandmas greens salad with grilled chicken. My wife got the bison burger... it was so good! The ambiance was as the name, very western, football on the tv. Life was good.

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant in Helen. The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the band was awesome!
google avatar

Shivi P.

Yelp
Only reason it's a 4 not a 5 is bc if the hostess. She did not call our name and proceeded to tell us rudely that we were called before. She also rolled her eyes. I got the pimento cheese burger with fries and it was delicious! I also added bacon jam and caramalized onions and the flavor was amazing. My friends got a variety of dishes - do not miss out on the fried chicken salad sammy, pickles, and collards!! Such good collards!! Also our server salavador v was awesome! Come here 100% recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Good service, great service and food was good. My friend and I were here during a live band and it was pretty fun

Yelp
*CAUTION: I received my bill and handed the server my credit card without looking at it. When she returned I noticed they charged me an extra 4% for using my credit card. What a rip-off Tax! It would've been nice if I would have been informed ahead of time. Moving on, we had an otherwise great experience. We sat outside on the patio, which is heated for the winter along with plenty of fans for the summer. I didn't dig the feel of the inside and I'm glad we sat outside. I had the Maverick chicken sandwich, which was an awesome sandwich and chose the coleslaw for my side and it was excellent! Full bar and adequate draft beer offerings.
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
The atmosphere cool and inviting. They had a live band and the solo male singer/guitarist sounded awesome. My wife and I ordered the ribeye and spit it... it was seasoned and done to perfection. I ordered the scallop and grits appetizer, delicious. I totally recommend going if passing though.

Yelp
Thorough review- We waited 30 of the 45 minutes expected. Our server came over and talked to us pretty quickly and said he would be back to take our drink orders. He returned and we ordered 2 lemonades, plus asked for appetizers: pork belly, gouda and cheddar pimento cheese, and scallops over grits. He said he was going to grab our drinks and put in our appetizers. Our waiter returned with our drinks and we explained we were ready to order. Spouse order the elk with mashed potatoes and fire roasted sweet corn, I ordered the summertime salad with balsamic vinaigrette. After maybe 5-10 minutes our appetizers were delivered by another staff member. We were ready to dig in, but didn't have silverware. He went to get some immediately. We finished off what we wanted to eat of the appetizers and waited another 15 minutes for our food. APPETIZERS REVIEW -Scallops were excellent, grits had great flavor, but not as creamy as I like -Pork belly was wonderful with a strong smoked flavor -Pimento cheese and homemade totally chips were really good, especially with the pickled jalapeños. ENTREES REVIEW Elk plus aforementioned sides- Cooked to order, very tender, but the rub was not preferred over a mesquite rub Mashed potatoes were good Corn was good (Nothing to write home to mom about on the sides) Summertime Salad- Cane as ordered (no onions); good ratio of all ingredients, and dressing came on side for me to dress. Very pleased with it. SERVICE REVIEW He was genuine and tried, but seemed distracted. Overall, we recommend this place. Music outside is loud. (Not our thing) Inside is fine ambiance, but still a little loud and busy.

Lawton Q.

Yelp
Do not go here! We saw it was 4 stars online but instantly regretted it as soon as we sat down. Our Waiter acted like he didn't want to be there. Took 20 minutes to order, food was terrible got the cowboy caviar as an appetizer and the chips were stale would've rather Tostitos. Beer was warm and flat both times. The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the burger was half decent. Overall bad experience bad vibe and the place looks like a tornado hit it!
google avatar

Phil L.

Yelp
I ordered the Seafood Pasta and was hoping for better than what I received. It was literally elbow pasta and some pieces of seafood thrown in. I think that the sauce was supposed to be a fettuccine sauce but was way too thin to be noticeable. My wife ordered the chicken and said that it was OK. My Mom ordered the NY Strip steak and loved it. So, the lesson here is to order the steak but expect a high bill at the end of dinner. The service was attentive for a Friday night. The table closest to us had two screaming children at it. They left, we sighed, and then six inebriated men sat down and proceeded to scream at each other. I suppose par for the course in Helen GA during Oktoberfest time. But, as far as ambiance.... Not what we were looking for. I think that I'll skip this place next trip and head the opposite direction to Longhorn Steakhouse in Demorest.
google avatar

Liliana G.

Yelp
We stopped here on our first night in Helen during our trip to Pigeon Forge. The food was solid, with generous portions that definitely filled us up. The service, however, was on the slower side, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. The ambiance was typical for the area--nothing too fancy, but it fit the vibe. Our server was fine; not exceptional, but understandable given how busy they were. Overall, it was a good meal, and we didn't have high expectations, so it worked out fine for a first stop on our trip.
google avatar

Kenya H.

Yelp
Pretty good service demand great ambiance but just not too impressed with the food I ordered. Got steak blue cheese wedge salad. Salad was just a bag of greens and steak was kind of salty. Good place For a quick bite if your in pinch just not sure it was good for me.
google avatar

Stefano I.

Yelp
Got the burger, pasta and chicken fingers. Quick service, good came out pretty fast too. It's just okay for me but I believe it's personal preference,
google avatar

Sandy Y.

Yelp
Perhaps we came wrong day or off day but we were sadly disappointed given the glowing reviews. We ate outside and enjoyed that ambiance. We ordered caprese salad and tips with mashed potatoes. I feel bad because I didn't tell the server that the food was very meh,,,, she was very nice as well. The caprese salad flatbread is kind of my jam. I'm envisioning crisped toast , deep balsamic vinaigrette - fresh sweet pomodori and soft melt in the mouth burrata. Purtroppo... what we got was mushy pita bread topped with anemic mushy overcooked almost stewed anemic tomato. And the mozzarella was chewy and thick and not warm. Balsamic drizzle was ok. I'm not trying to be hurtful or critical to anyone working at this restaurant but the mashed potato and steak tips were horrible as well. We got six ounces of steak and three quarters of it was fat or gristle. Mashed potatoes weren't even that tasty either (cold). Top it all off you get the bill and they will charge you an extra 4% if you use credit card. The receipt says "electronic means adjustment". So if you go, pay with cash.

Mike B.

Yelp
Group of four for supper. Drinks took almost 15 mins. to arrive after ordering. Not a busy evening. My wife and sister-in-law split a cheeseburger-medium-well, with cheddar cheese and a side of mac and cheese. The food came out quickly, however, the burger was rare to medium -rare. They also received french fries instead of mac and cheese for a side. My sister-in - law is allergic to shellfish which they serve at the restaurant. If they use the same fryer, cross-contamination could occur, and she would become very ill. The meal was returned to the kitchen. the waitress brought out the side order while they waited on the burger. When the burger arrived again, it was not the one they ordered. It had swiss cheese and bacon and mushrooms. Wrong again. It appears no one checks the orders when they come out. I will mention that I live locally and during my last visit, they failed to make my wife's meal at all! We gave them a fair chance, but they failed to deliver, so they have lost another customer.
google avatar

Adolfo B.

Yelp
We stopped in to get an adult beverage and decided to take a seat at the bar. The layout of the bar inside is a bit strange as it backs up against the kitchen where you literally can feel the heat and the spacing sometimes has servers right up against your barstool. Drinks were good and the service was prompt and friendly. As a hint, there are two bar windows where you can sit at and get outside bar service. We did not know that until we were leaving. As mentioned we only had drinks bur the food looked very good with nice size portions.

Yelp
If you come to Helen you'll probably eat at least one German meal so restaurants like Cowboys & Angels gives you an opportunity to get back to American fare if you want. One nice thing about this restaurant is they have some free parking behind the restaurant. They are marked with the restaurants name and are first come first served. If they are taken they it's paid parking next door. Or a tip is to go park in the Lincoln Hill Park lot which is free. It's located about 50 yards behind Hofer's Bakery on the right. From there it's a short walk to this restaurant. Cowboys & Angels offers covered outdoor seating which had a singing musician playing a guitar on the Monday night I visited for dinner. Inside they offer dining rooms along with a full bar all with table service. Not being too hungry from a big lunch, I chose the fried chicken salad sandwich with cole slaw for $14. My waiter told me it was his wife favorite. It arrived about 10 minutes later. During that time, I admired the interior decor with reproductions of Remington and Russell Old West paintings along with pictures of people like John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. I didn't see any pictures of angels.... The sandwich was served on warm Texas Toast with the chicken salad that had fried chicken pieces with lettuce and tomato. I had them hold the onion. It was a very good moist sandwich with a lot of flavor and content that I enjoyed. His wife was right! The cole slaw had a slight tangy taste to it and I prefer a creamier style but it was still ok. The meal also came with some dill pickles. Finally the waiter was personable and friendly. I understand their steaks are pretty good. I would be happy to return.

Yelp
We were staying in Dahlonega for Christmas but after getting shut out of the limited restaurants there, we decided to check out Helene. Great spot and lots of stuff here, wish we would have stayed here. Needed a place to eat and Cowboys and Angels was right next to where we parked, so we decided to see if we could get in. Our timing must have been right as we had no wait, can't say as much for the people who came 30 minutes later. Outdoor seating but a little too chilly for our thin Florida blood. Great selections on the menu. Wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the trout. Sides were delicious and portions plentiful. Reasonable drink prices and good choices. Like the casual cowboy/rodeo feel and service was good. Fish could have used a little more seasoning or this would have been a solid 5 stars. Enjoyed this place and recommend a visit, you'll enjoy.

Ryan K.

Yelp
Hostess sat us and then we never saw a server-waited 20 minutes and after finally seeing someone to flag down was told they were in a shift change....better communication from FOH staff would remedy the issue. No sense of leadership on site that I could see...ended up leaving and getting food elsewhere so I cannot rate the dishes.
google avatar

Cady P.

Yelp
Decent food. Not somewhere I would return. They had a fire so their oven did not work. Limited menu items. Place was really packed but service was not very good.

Rebecca O.

Yelp
I had the crab cake appetizer as my main dish and it was a generous portion and VERY good! The live music on the night we went was good just a little too loud.
google avatar

CK C.

Yelp
Really good food, excellent service, reasonable prices, and live music. Pick up a 32 oz souvenir mug and bring it back for cheap refills! Good for lunch or dinner! I don't give 5 stars often, but they've got a great combination of the things that matter! Keep doing it right!

Yelp
"If I could give zero stars, I would." This place is an absolute disaster from start to finish. Let's start with the decor--it's like they raided a thrift store's trash bin and called it "rustic." The chairs are wobbly, the tables are sticky, and the lighting is so dim you can't even see the overpriced menu. Speaking of the menu, it's a chaotic mess. Half the items were "unavailable" (do you ever stock anything?), and the rest sounded like someone Googled "fancy words for bad food." I ordered the so-called "special," which arrived cold, overcooked, and somehow still bland. My friend's meal was burned to the point of being unrecognizable. The service? Don't even get me started. Our server looked like they wanted to be anywhere but here, took forever to even acknowledge us, and then forgot half our order. The hostess seemed as if she didn't even work there. Didn't know anything about what was going on. Management is an even bigger joke. I tried to express my concerns (calmly, might I add), and the manager outright dismissed me, claiming, "That's just how we do things here." Really? Because what you're doing is failing miserably. It seems as if it is being ran by a bunch of kids. Don't get me started on who seemed to be manager of the kitchen. He came out yelling and cursing at one of the workers. Talk about unprofessionalism. To top it all off, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the place opened. Broken fixtures, dirty floors, and a smell I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Save your money and your sanity. This isn't a restaurant--it's a crime against hospitality. Avoid at all costs.

Megan B.

Yelp
Fried green tomatoes were amazing. Husband said the sticky belly burger was the best burger he ever had. Crab cake sandwich really good.
google avatar

Lindsay G.

Yelp
I had some delicious trout, Mac and cheese and I highly recommend the corn hush puppies. They had a dog friendly outdoor patio that was covered and protected from the elements. They also had heaters out there. Seems like it's the best place to eat outside with your dog in Helen as there were nine dogs out there.
google avatar

Tracie S.

Yelp
Not a great experience. Took over an hour for the food to come out. My son's food came out last, after everyone else already had their food (like 5 minutes after) Mine came out cold, I shared with our server, they took it back, then it came out cold again. When you think of Mac and cheese, you think gooey and warm comfort food. This was not even close, the second time it came out, the protein was cold. Wildly frustrating experience. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Murdock S.

Yelp
Visited on January 30th my daughter's sweet 16 waited an hour and a half to be seated waited 45 minutes for an appetizer we left 30 minutes later believing our entree's were not even started to be cooked. The bathrooms where disgusting my grandson nearly slipped from the urine all over the floors There were no paper towels to dry our hands the worst dining experience ever Not a family friendly establishment If you want to get drunk waiting forever for food and enjoying pissing on the floor this is the place for you oh yeah they let people bring their dogs in too
google avatar

Devin T.

Yelp
This place was very busy even during off hours. We got lucky there was 2 seats at the bar. The bar is really tight. The food was good and so was the old fashion.
google avatar

Andrea Z.

Yelp
We got two burgers. One bison in one piece. They're both very delicious and we made sure to get them medium and a bison one medium rare.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late night dinner after hiking all day. The place was crowded with a 45-minute wait for four. They did not have any way to notify you that your table was ready. This meant that the hostess was yelling names out periodically. There are plenty of options to expedite this process nowadays. Restaurant has a small indoor area and larger outdoor area that is covered. We happened to go on a night that had live music, which was a nice touch. The food was just okay. I assumed after a wait that long the food would be incredible. My assumption was incorrect, but still not awful. We had burgers, steak, and chicken with my party. Nothing was over the top, just mediocre.

Yelp
Great food, service and took care of my dog too bringing him water and made a burger pattie to his specifications. Alicia (sorry if I spelled name wrong) was an amazing server.

Yelp
The service was prompt and attentive, I had the Country Fried chicken with collard greens and mashed potatoes. We sat at an outside table, it was wonderful. And did I mention was service prompt and attentive?

Yelp
Food was super greasy, very greasy. The salad was saggy from all the dressing And the pasta alflredo looked and tasted like Mac & Cheese and was cold. HORRIBLE FOOD, but served was nice.

Yelp
Enjoyed live music and friendly atmosphere! Food and service was great! We will definitely return here while visiting Helen in the future.

Yelp
We have always looked forward to eating at Cowboys and Angels however our 15-20 min wait turned into about an hour with several tables open the whole time. A server with big earrings was arguing with the guy taking names. Definitely has changed. After asking how much longer we were told another 15 mins.. we just left.

Yelp
We sat out of the covered patio where they had live music. The staff was friendly. We really enjoyed the fried chicken and catfish, the steak was just okay
