Cowboys & Angels Restaurant

Moved up this way in March and tried this place and it was beyond anything I was expecting in Helen. It is by far the best restaurant in town. The food is all fresh and everything is created and not just cooked. The food is all very flavorful and they offer a very wide variety of items. I try to visit once every other week or so and it never disappoints. Whether it’s appetizers or an entree, everything I have ever had has been great! Great staff, atmosphere and when they have live music it’s even better!

I recently visited and I was blown away by the quality of the food and service! Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The pickled peach burger was the highlight—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and handled with care. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff was attentive, ensuring our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place that serves mouthwatering food with excellent service, I highly recommend it!! Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

Limited parking. Be prepared to pay $10 to park next door. Food was good. I'd say above average in my personal opinion but to be fair I can be a tough food critic. Band was playing so outside seating would have been very loud and can't hold a conversation. Sat inside and with the concrete floors voices and sounds echo. The servers were all very friendly and two of them were so loud you could hear their conversations across the restaurant. We were seated within 1 minute. Our server ordered our drinks immediately upon sitting down. He was very attentive throughout the service and helpful with the menu. I give the wait staff a solid 5 stars. The loudness and the food keeps my rating at 3.5 - 4 stars. I would eat here again.

The New York strip is to die for! My husband got the elk chop and it was absolutely cooked to perfection! The service was amazing, the food came out fast and delicious! Tori, our server was absolutely fantastic. She was bright, energetic, smiled a lot, and really cared about whether we like the food or not. Five star across-the-board! A definite must do while in Helen Georgia!

All the food was beyond our expectations. Don't miss the steak nachos. The nacho chips were amazing and unique, almost like crispy pita chips. My french fries had the perfect level of crispiness. Our waiter, Cody, was phenomenal and very attentive to us. We never had to wait long for service and refills. I saw him juggling multiple tables completely effortlessly like a real pro. He even brought our service dog a burger patty and water refills upon request. We couldn't of hoped for better service and food. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Food is fantastic, a party of 4. we had the pork belly, bison chili,rainbow trout,elk chop,and the filet. Food was prepared perfectly suited to our parties' varied taste . Everything was cooked the way we asked . But our sever Cody was the highlight actually, his attentiveness was some of the best we have had, and he states he had only been here for two weeks,hard to belive ,he was knowledgeable of the menu and engaged us with great conversation and suggestions. He is a great addition to this establishment. Just a quick update came back a second night in a row and asked for Cody as our sever and was greeted with the same great service as the night before. I highly suggest eating here and ask if Cody is working he does a great job. This was our experience dining here, and we enjoyed it

Visiting Helen was good and stopping here for lunch was a good choice as well. I enjoyed how they prepared there food, everything taste good and properly cooked. My family was happy and so was I.

Amazing Dinner! Carolina Rainbow Trout, Steak, Gator Bites, Crab Cake Sandwich, Truffle Hawg, Chicken Alfredo all delicious. Drinks were made perfect Konig Ludwig and Helen Margarita hit the spot. Our waitress Lacey M was the best service with a smile and really took care of our family. Great family atmosphere live music a plus.
