I ABSOLUTELY loved my ride. I got to ride Rio and he is a very good sure footed old boy. 🩷 The trail along the canyon was beautiful and fun. Definitely a ride for anyone, I have taken many trails along the U.S. and I gotta say to put this one on the map. Melissa and Blair were so sweet, thorough, and a pleasure to meet. The horses at this facility are very well cared and taken care of that is easy to see. I’m looking forward to coming back. I called and chatted with Phylis and is was an easy booking the ride. Melissa and Alison are the best wranglers! These Ladies did not leave out any details! Safety was key importance in making sure that each induvidual rider new how to handle there horses! Any question we all had these ladies answered in wonderful detail! This ride was more then i expected! We loved how the history about the canyon was told! We have went on several other trails in new mexico and i must say... this was the only one that you could feel the enthusiasm! Thank you for such a woderful fun filled ride and info!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience riding along the canyons. Melissa and Alison were kind, funny and informative tour guides! We learned a lot about the history of the canyon, saw beautiful views, and made great memories along the way.

This is an absolute must! It was such a fun way to see the canyon. Bailey and Alison were amazing and did a great job of explaining everything, making sure you were paired with the right horse and making it such an enjoyable experience!! 100% would recommend. We will definitely be doing it again if we are out that way again! Reno was so much fun to ride and my husband loved riding Whiskey.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. Alison and Breeyn and Randy were too good to our group. Randy really took our grandson under his wing and made it life changing for him. My wife was so scared that she tried to back out several times, but they catered to her fears and everything went perfect. Thank you guys so much. It was an experience to remember forever. We had expert to novice riders that were all catered to and matched to the perfect horse for each person. This ranch is very well run, and I expect it to be here for years to come. The views and experience are undescribable. Don't hesitate to book asap!

Absolutely unforgettable experience! Our 2-hour ride with Cowgirls and Cowboys in the West in Amarillo, Texas was hands down the highlight of our trip. The beauty of the Texas landscape, with its wide-open sky and the ride to the rim of the breathtaking Palo Duro Canyon, was something we’ll never forget. One of the most special moments was having our picture taken right on the canyon’s edge, an incredible keepsake that perfectly captured the magic of the day. What made the experience even more memorable were our amazing wranglers: Breeyn, Katilin, and Alison. They thoughtfully chose each guest a horse to match their experience as a rider. Their patience and encouragement were constant throughout the ride, and their passion for what they do really shone through. They shared fascinating stories and history of the area, and it was easy to see they genuinely cared about both the horses and the guests. It was also very evident the horses loved all three wranglers. ♥ This was more than just a horseback ride—it was an authentic and heartwarming western adventure. Can’t recommend it enough. The best trail ride i have ever been part of. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Healthy and responsive horses. Permission to spread out and ride posse style when the trails opened up. Scenic and a two hour ride.

Would highly recommend! Both our guides Alison and Breeyn were helpful, outgoing and knowledgeable! They matched us well with horses that fit our experience level and took time to tell us about the history of the Palo Duro canyon. We had a great time!
