Needs some oversight for sure, I think a relocation would help this concept. Del Amo center is a bit underneath the concept. Fries were great, and the burger was high level. But, I can see how it could go off the rails with the built in dysfunction. Owners should move it to Manhattan Beach, or Hermosa. I think it would be a better fit and a better crowd where Colin could be right and have Smiles all around

I went here for lunch with a friend. Our bill came out to be 40 dollars for an order of tenders, a burger and a small basket of fries. It wouldn't have been so bad if the tenders weren't the smallest tenders I have ever seen. And for the price of 15$, I would have thought that I was gonna get more than just four tiny pieces. I will definitely not be coming back. The other reason that this is upsetting was they did not indicate how many pieces would come in an order of tenders. If I knew that it would only be 4 small pieces I would have ordered something else. Complete rip-off.

This was a great experience! I got to enjoy the herd burger and fries washed down with the herd Pilsner while I gambled my entire life savings on the Dodgers first inning under in a spring training game! And if that wasn’t great enough, Colin himself came in halfway through my lunch, and we shared a great moment. We locked eyes, and I looked at him and shouted “WHERE COLIN WAS RIGHT!” We embraced and he proceeded to tell me every single take he had on the radio show that day. It was a magical experience. Definitely in my blazing five of best restaurants I’ve ever been to!

August 11th 530 pm. I went to the restaurant to get it to go order. Got a beer to wait for my order. Was instructed to wait so I started drinking my beer near the bar Towards the bar drinking my beer. The lovely young Lady Angela Said sit down or leave. And forward cur that I was finishing my beer and was leaving to go to the grocery store. I called her eyes trying to comply but I did not know their rules within the restaurant because there is nothing stated. She said that I was being uncooperative . I asked her if she talked for her father the same way handed her my beer and left. Came back later pick up my to go order. Asked everybody to have a pleasant day. Angela included. I think she What's just having a badd day. I have been to the restaurant before and never experienced this. But there's so many restaurants ago to I don't think I'll be back. The place wasn't crowded I just don't understand. I live close in the neighborhood and am 61 years old.

Google
Expected much better. Food was good but service was terrible. Many staff on hand but our table was ignored for the majority of the meal. Restaurant was also very cold to the point of being uncomfortable.

Google
Nice atmosphere, but not worth it. Really pricey for mediocre food. Probably was made by a backwards hat kinda guy.

John Smith

Google
The burger was extremely soggy filled to the brim with an obscene of amount of soggy moist grease and the mayo was extremely salty it was throughly below average.

Yelp
Went with a group for lunch for the first time. Excellent food options. Ask for Gilberto. This place is respectfully nothing without Gilberto. The absolute best. What a legend. Absolutely made the best experience.

Yelp
We came in after a tournament and Gilberto took such great take of us. Food was great, his service was amazing! We will be back soon.

Yelp
Torrance Food Crawl #396 Colin Cowherd's Herd Burger is one of four eating places in The Brews Hall. The four food choices are positioned side-by-side (Cowherd's is on the far right). However, you order from just one place at the front counter selecting your options from the four menus. The Herd Burger is one of my favorite burgers in Torrance. Every time I've had it, everything was very fresh and very good, including the hamburger patty, bun, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and "the spread" sauce. Variations include the Double Play, with double meat and cheese, The Favorite, with bacon, jack cheese, and garlic aioli, and the V-Burger, their 'meatless' version. All are excellent. French Fries also come in a couple of varieties. The Rally Fries were good. The G.O.A.T. Garlic Of All Time fries, were definitely garlicky, but not necessarily better than the Rally Fries. The Championship Rings (aka Onion Rings) were average. They also have a giant pretzel, The Twist, which came with a very nice spicy mustard dipping sauce. Many places would just squeeze some store-bought spicy mustard into a cup, but this was custom-made with a sharp bite missing from most mustards. The Brews Hall is a great place to have a drink and have some eats while you're there. They do not carry non-alcoholic beer. (I gave up asking for it after a while.) The hall has a lot of open outdoor space, which can be chilly in winter but is a joy in summer.

Yelp
Great place! Gilberto (server) was outstanding! Best service & made us feel at home. If you come here, ask for him. I will definitely next time we come here.

Yelp
So after my first rating of one star, I was contacted by the manager Christina. She was very professional and concerned about my first experience at Brews Hall. She invited me to come back and have a conversation with her about the quality of the food, so I did. My son and I arrived and asked to speak with her as she requested. She came out to meet us and wanted to hear any feedback on how to improve the food quality. This is a first! She even had the chef come out so I could tell him my experience. They both were very receptive to my criticism and asked if I'd be willing to try other menu options. My son and I weren't really hungry but we decided to try the carne asada nachos and he wanted an ice cream sandwich. They told me it was on the house which was very nice and professional. My son and I sat down to wait for our food to be brought out and to our surprise, we received a platter of food! Asian style wings, carne asada nachos, chips, guacamole, salsa and macaroni and cheese. This was a pleasant surprise. Although we weren't that hungry we actually ate most of it. It was delicious! Christine and the manager returned to ask us how was everything. I told them I was confused because this food quality was totally different from those horrible cheese fries I wrote about in my initial review. They were both happy to hear that we were pleased with our meal. The nachos were amazing with chunks of wonderfully cook carne asada and loads of cheese, pico de gallo and other goodies. The wings were so moist and flavorful. Let's not forget the mac and cheese which was so cheesy and delicious. This was like an entirely different restaurant. Then, we received our dessert which we only ordered an ice cream sandwich. We were brought to different ice cream sandwiches and piping hot churros with a caramel sauce. I have to say that it was all so good, but the stand out was the churros. Those the softest churros I've ever had in my life. The cinnamon and sugar coating was perfect! The chef and manager invited us back to try other menu options, which I definitely will. Thanks Christine for such a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Walking in you kind had to figure it out yourself. There isn't anyone to greet you. 1 person behind the counter. Came in on a busy afternoon I guess. Burgers seem to be a bit on the overpriced side of things. The burgers don't come with fries; expect to pay $5+ for fries. I'm just confused about the popularity if this place. Am I paying extra $$$ for quality type food or just because George Lopez has his face on the establishment?

Yelp
Loved the burger - surprised we don't hear more about it when it comes to burgers in the area. And you can't go wrong with the split decision, fries and onion rings! Looking forward to exploring more of this menu next time I'm there.

Yelp
Burger wasn't cooked right, table was filthy, place smelled like cleaning products, which is ironic because place was dirty.

Yelp
The staff are super helpful and the food is pretty good. Great place to go watch some sports. The place is essentially outdoor dining but there's a roof over the bar area.

Yelp
i love when you get choices! stop to grab a bite and had the most amazing burger! Colin's Favorite was delicious! The cashier suggested the garlic fries which were perfect. We'lol be back again! On top of all that he has his own beers!

Yelp
I always like eating burgers and beer which go well together especially on a warm summer day. I've only been to The Brew Hall once before and had tacos. However, this time around I wanted to try the burgers. Due to COVID you obviously have to wear a mask and get your temperature checked digitally prior to ordering. I knew ahead of time what I wanted so I ordered The Double Play Burger along with a side of fries. I also got a beer, from The George Lopez Brewery TA LOCO NARANJA CREMA which was quite refreshing. Everything turned out great, customer service was awesome and the spacing of the place is one of the best things about it. There's lots of room for people to sit outside and enjoy their food and drink. This place is a bit on the pricey side, but again a nice chill spot in The South Bay.

Yelp
Nice menu and ambience. Food was great and friendly service. Lots of parking and lots of tv!

Yelp
Great vibes, food is solid, and the beer selection is good. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Went there just because I listen to The Herd. Undercooked flavorless burger and expensive. Go to In-N-Out

Yelp
Unfortunately seems like 85% of the food here is deep fried . Would suggest a good NY strip or grilled chicken breast with yes french fries or cottage cheese from Cowherds for semi protein lovers. My wife says "let's go get a bite at BrewsHall ". My pea brain is thinking a quick steak sounds good but alas not possible at Brews Hall or CowHerds. We default instead to black angus across the street fits the bill. I'll go for a burger and fish chips occasionally for sure but not a must go too for me any longer. Brews Hall has great beer. Must say fish and chips is a winner. Good burger. Suggestion: Install a couple 70 tv's over bar. Great managment and friendly fun staff. Tim is all over it!

Yelp
Lettuce wrap = keto heeeeeaven. I'm not sure why it tastes epically better than other burgers, but it does. It's a weekly go-to I look forward to!

Yelp
Really nice spot and large enough open area to dine outside during the pandemic. The food is good pricing is OK and definitely a place to go once sports come back. The fish and chips were good and Collins burger was really good. Lots of choices and a must to come back and try George Lopez menu.

Yelp
They should have a right and wrong burger. Chicken nachos. Deserts should be called best for last. Decor should be aviation. I'm going to apply.

Yelp
Got to thank Nick Wright for dropping the info over the airwaves. I happened to be in Redondo Beach and figured I'd give it a try. I had the bacon burger and the GOAT fries. The burger was juicy and was pretty tasty, about a 4.5 of 5. I put some jalapeño Tabasco sauce on it to kick it up a notch. The fries were really good. I had to ask the staff why The Herd wasn't on the TV's since you know folks would catch the last hour of his show, being they open at 11am. I will have to agree with a previous review, the place needs to have a Colin's Chicken Nachos but I understand that since this is a shared restaurant space the George Lopez's grill takes care of that aspect. But, being a fan of Colin and his opinions on the Herd. I came here only for his restaurant. I will come back here to try other items and see if they add Colin's chicken nachos.

Yelp
What amazing new spot glad to see them. I have been there before and always had a great time. The last time I was there August 11th was not so spectacular. D in order to round by the waitress Angela like shoe is a police officer was very disheartening. I was waiting for a to go order after shoe ordered me around I handed my beer and decide to go to the grocery store to wait for . On my return I bid farewell to the hired help Angela and cluded told him to have a nice day. I don't think I'll be going back because it was very disappointing and I would hate to run into the same waitress again. At 61 years old I really don't like the in scolded by children. I wish everybody lock it's a wonderful place the burgers are top notch

Yelp
If you like New York style hamburgers that juicy beef and toasted buns and the great garlic fries they also serve beer and lots of TV's this is a great place also the announcer is a great person that I watch on TV every morning loves my eagles and always talks badd about the cowboys what a great man glad he open up this restaurant the food is great the hamburgers are thick the fries are Are the bomb.com love this place glad it's in Torrance California no more in-and-out for me Also their service is great and they have a great diversity of servers

Yelp
This place is EXTREMELY WASTEFUL. Everything is plastic and throw away with no recycling. The food is TERRIBLE, frozen, fried and unhealthy. It's just when you see a new place opening up you expect it to be the CHANGE we need. With the planet in a state of massive climate change, brews hall is a monopoly that only adds to the deterioration of the planet.

Joe J.

Yelp
I'm suuuuuper disappointed, as this place was recommended, and quite frankly I'm pissed off. First, the "service" was absolutely horrible. We ordered drinks (two non-alcoholic sodas - one for me and one for my 7 year old, and one mule for my friend) only the alcohol came - I asked the server THREE separate times for our drinks, they never came. We also ordered food - my little boy got chicken strips, friend the garden burger, and myself the chicken tacos. The food came, but we had no napkins or utensils, so I asked the server who practically rolled his eyes, brought them to the table, and tossed them onto the table... seriously, what the eff? I took a bite of the taco, the chicken was borderline still frozen, not even close to warm. I decided to check my son's chicken, it was dangerously undercooked as well. Now, a day later, my son (who is on vacation from Utah) has violent diarrhea on a day I bought tickets to take him to Universal Studios. Hey, manager guy that came out and claimed he'd "have a discussion with the chef," you gonna cover that, too? Sure, they comped the meal that resulted in a garden burger and a mule... the other drinks NEVER came. What an absolute disaster, place is there because of a name, a full bar, and visual appeal. ZERO quality food and even worse service

Yelp
"Where Colin was right. Where Colin was wrong." Torrence location: right. Adding to the already swelling choices for American ground beef patties: wrong. Kraft cheese singles semi-melted over undercooked fries? Where does that fit into the Herd hierarchy of epic epicurean fails?

Tasha S.

Yelp
We went last night and glad we did. The food was delicious. My husband ordered a double burger and it was huge!! Bases loaded fries were to die for. Enough to share with me and our son. I ordered the wedge salad and it was perfect. To top it off, we got a chocolate shake for dessert and mint ice cream sandwich. Yummy. Ambiance was awesome. They had the sports playing on the Tv's, it was crowded and we even got to sneak a photo opp with Colin himself.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. My son and I met there today for lunch. It looked like it was crowded but there were more workers there then customers. They were sitting at tables talking business about the restaurant. There's a place for everything and doing business in the restaurant isn't one of them. That didn't bother me as much as Tanya, the cashier with the bad personality putting a $3.33 tip on my order. She told me to sign the machine. I don't see so well so I signed it not knowing that it had a tip on it. $21.84 for fish and chips and a coke! Not only that there was a tip jar right under the machine. The fish was ok but the fries were odd. My son had a burger and said it was full of salt. The chairs are very uncomfortable and noisy. This is just another restaurant made for the under 35 crowd. I won't be back and won't recommend it.

Justin S.

Yelp
This place is so freakin cool! I'm a huge fan of Colin Cowherd and an even bugger fan of some good food and drinks. This place has it all, 10/10 would come back every time I'm in the area!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Went only because I was in town for a meeting and we thought it would be fun. It was sort of fun and the place has a co, lively atmosphere but the food was nithing more than fair and boring. ZERO creativity or thought went into this menu, which isn't a problem if the typical bar food is done right. This food is not done right. Everything is bought in frozen bulk and nothing is scratch made. Fries were freezer burned, burger meat was low quality, who the F puts Kraft processed cheese squares on fries? I used to to that in college when I was high and had nothing else. This place is o.k. but nothing more. Literally no better than TGI Fridays. Colin clearly is using this as a vanity project and is simply lending his name in a ego driven cash grab. If youve got the money and backing why not put some thought and energy into the food. *Also the cliche names of the food are something a 7 year old would come up with or you see in movies making fun of places like this. Lucky this was a tax write off.

Marcel B.

Yelp
It was really good burger. A bit expensive however, but nonetheless very savory. The fries were good but I wish they really put more quantity for the price it's charged.

Jackson L.

Yelp
There's too many pickles on my burger. The "Baker Mayfield" burger I ordered came with tots instead of fries. I can't get past that... Undraftable, inedible. Off my board. Love ya Colin.

Mike Z.

Yelp
Food is undeniably incredible. You know Colin put his mark on it when everything is this perfect. What a great spot and an even better founder. Atmosphere even better, great job.
