Cowtown Brewing Co. is a fantastic spot! They have a great variety of beers on tap, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. It's the perfect place to bring a large group since there's plenty of room both inside and on their spacious patio. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, making it an ideal spot to unwind. We especially loved the food truck outside—the food was absolutely delicious and complemented the beer perfectly. This is definitely a cool spot for happy hour after work or just a great place to hang out with friends. Highly recommend!

Google
Pretty much everything u want from a Brewery! The food truck served one of the best burgers I have ever had! Which is saying something! VERY dog friendly!! Had a flight! Liked“A horse with no name” best! But all were awesome!

Google
This is such a fantastic place! GREAT beers (Cold FW is my fav!), super nice staff! Now has rotating food trucks (and we took advantage of a wonderful Italian food truck that was there Monday). GO VISIT!

I don’t know why it took me so long to go to a brewery that was literally in downtown Fort Worth considering how I basically lived there for years. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I tried 4 beers and they were all good, maybe bordering on better than good. The bartenders were all great. The pricing was reasonable and the brisket was about as good as you can get at a place that isn’t a legit Texas BBQ place. Legit good brisket. Place was pretty nice but a little on the small side. Outside would be nice if weather agreed. I wasn’t super enthused by the beer selection - could’ve used a little more variety. Parking wasn’t great but I guess that’s what you get being so close to downtown. Gotta nitpick at this level. I will definitely be back

Cowtown🐂🍺 Brewing Co. is a go-to spot in Fort Worth for craft beer lovers and anyone looking for a relaxed, hometown atmosphere. Their lineup of house-brewed beers offers something for everyone, from hop-forward IPAs to crisp lagers and rich stouts. Cowtown isn’t just about great beer—it’s about community. The laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, and welcoming patio make it the perfect spot to catch a game, hang out with friends, or just unwind after a long day.✨️ This place truly captures the spirit of Fort Worth—unpretentious, welcoming, and full of local flavor. Whether you're a longtime resident or just passing through, Cowtown Brewing Co. is a must-visit. Cheers!🍻

Google
Been here many times, never left a review. Beautiful Sunday afternoon. Sat on the back patio. Family & dog friendly. German beer, Texas BBQ. Wife & I got G'Night Viennas (Vienna Style Lager. 6.5% ABV) and shared a two meat brisket & jalapeño cheddar sausage plate. Both tasted great. Friendly staff. Definitely will return, thanks Cowtown!

Google
Fun, laid back brewery with and assortment of beer options. The beer was alright (didn'tfind a beer I absolutely loved. Everything was definitely drinkable). The bbq was my favorite part. My friends and I devoured the loaded brisket tots. The live music was also enjoyable. Overall, nice place.

Google
Had a really great time at this Cowtown location. Came in and sat down at the bar while killing time, and was very impressed. Parking was easy, and the building was large with great air conditioning and plenty of seating. In terms of beers, the IPAs were strong and ice cold, and the BBQ sandwich I got was quite good. Highly recommend!

Yelp
hands down my favorite favorite brewery in the dfw area. chill vibe. the owner is awesome. the staff is knowledgeable. the food has always been great. even the food truck choices they have. the beer though... so many varieties. and every one I've had... and they're are a lot of them.... I've loved.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Cowtown Brewing tonight and had a great time! The beer was great and we really enjoyed music bingo- although it was a little odd that they ended the game before it was over and there was no winner. Also note the fact that the food trucks leave at 8pm so after that no food is served. Overall, great service, vibe, and drinks!

Yelp
Came back here recently as I was showing some friends around and the server mentioned that they no longer serve food, which was a bummer. We had a few beers and had to leave to go find some food

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Love the beer selection. And the best part is you can bring your dog inside!

Yelp
Casual spot where you seat yourself and have the option of scanning a QR code to order or you can order with a waiter. Housemade beers on tap is pretty cool. The 10:12 IPA Stout is good (kinda sweet). Bacon wrapped jalapeños were flavored well and smoky, HOWEVER, served lukewarm :|. The brisket queso was average. The cheese was like off brand Velveeta, but the brisket helped it out a lot. Elotes was definitely a miss. Pretty bland and, again, served lukewarm. Chopped brisket sandwich was good albeit a bit on the salty side. Decent meal, but wouldn't come back tbh.

Yelp
We came here after a long day at burgers lake. Service was quick , friendly but almost tooooo friendly , a little pushy in offering more drinks although the beer was good and the brisket was legit , no complaints with the beer I had the fruited sour

Yelp
We absolutely love Cowtown Brewing. First and foremost: Every. Single. Beer. they serve is excellent. I'm always so pleased to go in and try something new and I've never been disappointed. The staff there is amazing too. They're incredibly attentive and friendly and want to make sure you're having a great time. We've been on a slow night before and I've seen the staff playing with the children making sure that they're entertained too. So cool. They're always coming out with new beers too so there's always something new to try. You must try their food too! They have very good BBQ out back!! I've tried a few of their items before (brisket, pork, wings, burger etc) and I've honestly loved all of it. The location is open air which makes for an awesome atmosphere, but they can close the doors as well to keep out the Texas heat too. I can't wait to go back - you should go now.

Yelp
Great service and the beer menu was very large and tasty. Great place to go with friends and have a fun round of drinks. The kat burger was surprisingly very good. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We have had this place on our list for awhile now and we finally found time to go and we are kicking ourselves for not getting here quicker. The place has two different seating areas. One inside with hightop wood tables and chairs and one with picnic tables outside. There are a couple of tv's that are visible from all seats. I honestly can;t remember if music was playing. I don't think so. We were directed to sit were ever we wanted so we grabbed the last table by the window. We ordered two of the Locust ciders. One was Blueberry and one was Watermelon and they sweet beer went really well with the Bologna sandwich with tater tots and the chopped brisket sandwich with coleslaw. I didn't not like to coleslaw. It lacked a distinct flavor. I would order something different next time. We ordered 3 beers each and our waitress apparenty ended her shift and then sat at the table beside us. We had to flag down another waiter to get additional beers. The second person an older lady was nice and took a couple minutes to talk to us which I appreciated. When it was time to pay the waiter who brought the machine scanned to the 25% tip which I did not appreciate. I know tipping is a big controversy right now but service was slow and I would have left 20%.

Yelp
After a long day of cold calls of oil and gas operators on the F/W area, I saw this place and had to stop in. I got a 4 beer sampler. Beer was great. I'm not an IPA person and I let the bartender set me up. They we all great. But, the most flavorful one was a whiskey barrel aged imperial stout called Nick's Cold Black Heart. Oh it was amazing. Just a smell and you pick up the whisky immediately. And the taste, off the chart. Now it has a high BVA of 11.4%, so it's a sipper. If you are a whiskey guy or girl, this is one to try. Cowtown is pretty nice place. No food that I remember, but great beer. Great service. Certainly will go back next time I'm there.

Yelp
Yes, they have good beer. However, I no longer drink. Yes, they had good food but the kitchen is closed down. Now they sell only beer, some wine & sodas. I'll still support them by buying their 4 can packs. When pay day comes around, I'll give 4 can packs to fellow Veterans or friends from my neighborhood. My mother & I loved eating here when they had a kitchen. We loved the food.

Yelp
Dropped in here on the way from the airport to the hotel and was craving some bbq, with beer bring the cherry on top. To my dismay they only serve the plated bbq meats on the weekends which was a big bummer. Overall place has pretty cool vibes, plenty of space inside and out. Service is fantastic and super friendly. Great big selection of beers on tap (I counted 16) and to go. None of them really blew me away (admitted beer snob) but all were solid offerings. Food wise I settled for the bacon wrapped jalapeños which were really good. Chopped brisket sandwich was very meh, not memorable and making me regret my decision. All things considered I'd come back again, but def when they were serving the good good.
google avatar

Alexis B.

Yelp
The beer is good. I came here and there are mostly Pilsner's & Lagers. Not much variety. They also don't serve bbq. They have a burger food truck that you order food for. Was a decent place to watch the game.

Yelp
Whitley at the bar was PHENOMENAL! Gave me the full run down of types of beers. Small tasting session and AWESOME blind flight build. Super attentive and friendly. Inside/outside vibe was fun to get the full beer day feel. La Mera Hora with a slice of lime, will be back when in the area

Caleb Yeager ..

Yelp
Cowtown Brewery decided to offer $600 March Madness table reservations on Instagram, so I stopped by Thursday afternoon to catch a game (no reservation needed). Place was nearly empty--fewer than 10 people. I asked a bartender to switch a TV to another game. 'Sure, let me ask.' Nothing. Asked a second person, 'Let me see.' Nada. First half is done by now. Third try, I get, 'Oh, you're the one asking? I don't watch basketball--tell me a channel.' You're charging $600 for March Madness reservations and can't find a game? They finally put it on, only to switch it to the Stars game 30 minutes later. And then--get this--bingo night kicks off in the middle of it all. Basketball, hockey, bingo, and zero clue. Wtf? Are you serious

Yelp
THEY DON'T HAVE FOOD in July 2024. I think they lost their health rating because the certificate says "available on request". The bartender said that "it was too expensive." But they still had wood for the smoker freshly stacked and silverware on the tables. Would be a 5/5 if they had food... beers were good, ambience was nice, service was prompt. Please fix your websites or coordinate with food trucks to have something!

Yelp
Stopped in for a Sunday brunch snack around 10 AM. Pretty empty so that meant I had excellent service. I enjoyed my brisket nachos still, and my Schwarzbier even more.

Yelp
Cowtown Brewery is such an awesome place! They have a wide variety of delicious beers that are served in unique, fun-shaped glassware! Cowtown offers a nice variety of choices on their food menu! Their service is exceptional - the staff is very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly! Also, their outdoor patio is dog-friendly - just walk your pups through the main restaurant to get there!

Lorenzo R.

Yelp
Awesome beer selection- love the decor , love the cowtown vibe and had the most delicious burger ordered from the food truck behind the place. It was probably one of the best burgers I've had because I appreciate a spicy burger
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing beer! Love the brewery's beer selection and service is always great. We don't eat here too often but we've had the wings and would recommend them.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped in here because we have driven post this place before and wanted to try it out. We had a warm welcome by the waiter as soon as we walked in and he introduced us to the history of the brewery and what they were known for. We browsed the menu and chose the cowtown nachos, and two barbecue sandwiches. The food was hot, seasoned well, and rich in flavor. For brew, we tried the spirit world and the rhinestone cowboy. Both were good picks and tasted great. We would definitely come back to try a few other brews and other parts of the menu.

Yelp
I am a KCBS Master Certified BBQ Judge so enjoy trying out BBQ when I travel. This is a great place with a spacious, lively, young atmosphere, decent beer, decent sides, and great sliced and chopped brisket. Chop be ordered more fatty from the 'point' of the brisket packer, or more lean from the 'flat' which is where the slice is cut from. Both where great. Would come back here next time I'm in FW for business!
google avatar

Rob W.

Yelp
I have been there 3 times I have had some decent beer and as craft brews go, some not so good. I have yet to have a decent meal there. One afternoon they were out of BBQ. Parking really sucks and mind the signs or you will find your car in the FT Worth auto impound.
google avatar

Yelp
A great atmosphere, ample parking for a downtown spot, and tasty beer and food. I love sours, so I'm always happy when breweries provide those opinions. The food was delicious, as well. Its pricier than most BBQ places, but the serving sizes were generous and the variety was exceptional. I got a brisket plate, which came with toast and two sides. I loved the mac&cheese, which actually tasted like their own recipe (some BBQ places essentially just serve velveta shells). The elote was amazing as well, definitely a must try! It was a Thursday night so they had song bingo with gift card prizes. It was very fun, but definitely could have been sped up a little as the game took forever. The service was the only odd part of the experience - some may like the overly-familiar tones of the waitstaff, but I personally prefer a more casual and friendly approach. No need for lengthy personal conversations when I'm trying to enjoy a meal with my family. Overall, I recommend trying this place!

Yelp
I had one quick beer and left, which coincidentally was not that great tasting. I really was hopeful this place would be good but will never go there again. Went on a weekend trip to Ft. Worth and really wanted to try this place, but they were very uninviting. It was a hot day outside and I brought Pollo, my parrot, in a backpack. They immediately stated pets were not allowed inside and had to sit outside. I understand the FDA law against it but having him in a backpack when there was no other patrons nearby is ridiculous, plus they didn't even great me in a nice way and looked very uninviting to everyone that walked in. May have just been the staff that day.

Yelp
The beer selection has something for every palette. From Light, Mexican and American Style Lagers to Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. The styles were heavily German influenced including rare styles such as a Doppelbock and German Red Ale. Everything is true to style, nothing "funky". These were solid, traditional beers. The barbecue was quite good, two of us shared a two meat platter of pork and brisket with coleslaw and German potato salad and a side order of two brisket tacos. The soft brisket tacos were so good we could have eaten them all day, they included chipotle mayo, pico de gallo, and cojita cheese. The barbecue was simple, well prepared and served with a side red barbecue sauce. Beer lovers should try this place.

Yelp
I love a good pun and Cowtown delivers. Excellently smooth brews and great eats. Brisket sandwich was the highlight of my week in north Texas --- sorry Buccees. Staff was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
I got the feeling that this place was basically a craft beer brewery, but they had really good BBQ! My wife had their grilled cheese, which she said was good. I had the two meat BBQ plate with brisket and pepper sausage. Both were very good. We had too far to drive and too much to do to try their beers, but they had quite a selection. It's on the far east side of Fort Worth with parking next door. The lot is unpaved and pretty rocky so don't bring your car with low profile tires!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in the restaurant for lunch on a Wednesday around noon. A few people were at the bar drinking beer but we were the only ones out in the restaurant area. Took a few minutes for a girl to come over and ask what we wanted to drink. When she brought our drinks she said when y'all are ready to order just grab one of us, we all do the same thing. That right there told me the service was not going to be great. If there's not one white person focused on one table then it's pretty much a free-for-all. OK, whatever. So we download the menu on our phones and we both decided on having a bbq sandwich, served with tater tot's. $12 on the menu. You had a choice of chicken, Pulled pork or brisket. Both of us chose brisket. When we finally flag down another guy walking around the restaurant he came over and took our order. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out. I will say the sandwich was excellent, the bun had been buttered and grilled and the sliced brisket and the sauce were excellent. Very tasty! The surprise came when they brought the little machine for us to insert our card and pay our bill. There was not a breakdown of the bill on the machine just a total of our food plus tax and the suggested tip amount, which they had as 25%. Being one that checks over my bill, I already knew how much the total of the food and drink came to and when I looked at the screen it was $6 more than what I had added up. I asked the girl to come over to the table and told her of the error. She said it wasn't an error cause there's an up charge for the meat on your sandwich. I told her that was a little hard to understand because the menu gave us a choice of meats and did not say anything about an upcharge. So she got the other waiter to come over and explain to us that there was a $3 charge for brisket, per sandwich so each sandwich was $15. I asked him to show me on the menu where it said that and he proceeded to tell me they just hadn't updated the menu but that that's what the price was. $3 upcharge for brisket? I might could understand an upcharge but it needed to be stated on the menu. Or the waiter should have mentioned it when we ordered the brisket on our sandwich. The waiter did end up taking off the upcharge but I do suggest they clear this up on their menu. Of course not everybody would even notice the additional on their bill but they are dealing with a detailed accountant here! May sound petty to others but in this economy every dollar counts. Food... Five stars Service... Three stars Thus the Average... Four stars.

Yelp
Was looking for a new place to try for lunch and came across this on Yelp, so me and a couple friends decide to cruise over and check it out since we didn't even know it was there LOL. When we got there is kind of difficult to find a place to park and then we saw that they had a dirt lot behind the building in which to park, it's not a very nice neighborhood to be honest so I was a little worried about leaving my car back there but it was there when I got back. When you go inside it looks like a traditional Brew House very open concept with a nice large patio, they only serve their own beer which is awesome. I had the patio Burger which is on special on Fridays, the burger was basically a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg but unfortunately the egg was cooked all the way through hard which I've never seen on a burger before and the burger patty itself has well done which I do not like. The fries were delicious and sprinkle with salt and pepper, I had two beers they're red ale and one of their darker beers I can't remember the name but it was delicious and so was the red. My friend had the brisket and said it was delicious and he really liked the mac and cheese as well, while my other friend had the loaded brisket fries and an elote both of which she enjoyed. So all-in-all I like the place despite not liking the burger I will be back to try other interesting looking menu items, if you're in the area this place is definitely worth a shot

Yelp
1 night in town so I popped in about 830 PM for some beers and a bite. Screwed on the latter, unfortunately, kitchen closed early. But to be fair it was me plus a single 4 top in the brewery so I dunno, I get it, I woulda cleaned up early too probably. Cool space, enjoyed both the beers I had, service was friendly. Nice mix of beer styles.

Yelp
Been here so many times and I can't believe I haven't reviewed them! Easy parking, nice employees, many beers to choose from. Their food is also very good! It's in a warehouse, so vibes are super relaxed. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (perfect for the fall).
google avatar

Brandon A.

Yelp
The food was so good. I inhaled it. That brisket sandwich with brisket beans didn't stand a chance. I drank the "Horse with No Name", delicious beer. I loved it. Great atmosphere with a very kind and attentive waitstaff who offer real opinions on the food and drink which is nice and makes you want to order everything on the menu!
google avatar

Allie Y.

Yelp
Not sure if it was an off-night, but all of our food, including the meat and the sides were all barely lukewarm or cold! Was very disappointed with their meat as they were all dry and cold, but was impressed with all of their sides. The brisket was very dry and may have been the worst brisket I've had. My favorite sides were the elote and the potato salad. The Mac and cheese would have tasted soooo much better had it been served hot. I saw so much potential with most of their food, but they really need to check on the temperatures here. Saw on few other reviews complaining of the same thing. They have an outdoor patio that's sectioned in two areas. There are heater posts throughout the patio and even had live music when we went! Thought their beer flight was fun and the service was superb. The waiter was knowledgeable about the beers and multiple different staff checked on us throughout. Really liked their payment system where you open your tab with your card as you walk in, and check in with the cashier before you leave to pay. No need to even take your wallet out later to pay since they already have the info from when you walked in!

Yelp
Visiting from SC and we were given a Texas welcome! Tried several avarieties and several plates of smoked meet. Thanks for the hospitality and great food!
google avatar

Rick B.

Yelp
Good vibes and craft-beer in a clean wide-open space! We enjoyed our dinner, and felt it warranted about 3.5 stars, but the following notes may help you decide a different rating. Pros include interesting beer choices, good portion sizes on sides, live music on weekends, open-air feel, clean bathrooms, and decent BBQ! Cons include small meat servings (a $16 plate of briscuit has only 2 small pieces of meat), no liquor (beer & wine only), Briscuit Beans sould be called Jalepeno Beans (too hot for anyone at our table to eat), and the dining room was full of persistent flies. They do a lot of things right here, including the billing process - credit card is scanned on entry (to start your tab), then each party is assigned a number. All orders are linked to that number, so there is no way for anyone to walk their check. Good idea for any place where there is room to roam! If you love craft beer, this is worth a visit. Just order 2 or more meats.
google avatar

Tyler M.

Yelp
We came in on a sweltering Texas day and were crushed that it wasn't air conditioned inside. Just some fans blowing which wasn't the most comfortable. Beers were all average on my flight and the brisket nachos we had were good but I probably wouldn't get again. Staff didn't seem to be the most organized as several servers came to us asking if we had been served yet. I liked Second Rodeo Brewing better down by the Stockyards.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this brewery for a while now. Our friends came in town and gave us a great reason to give it a shot. They were only about 1/2 full but the service seemed to be pretty slow. That's the reason for only 4 instead of 5 . We had to keep tracking down our waitress to get served. Now you can expect a long wait for food as it seems to take while to cook it BUT it was well worth the wait. We started with the queso and chips which was AMAZING! Don't leave without trying this. I had the BBQ sliced brisket sandwich. The bbq was perfect and the fries had a lot of flavor. My wife had single meat plate with the sausage Mac n Cheese. OMG that stuff was addictive. I had to sneak a few bites. Oh....I didn't forget the beer . Better give yourself some time after you have some of these flights. Some of these beers pack a real punch. My favorite was the Gnarbeast and Rhinestone Cowboy. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
Okay let me start by saying I drove around looking for another bbq spot for an hour and could not find it and this was my 2nd pick of 3. If I'm going to be honest the brew is WAY better than the BBQ! We had an exceptionally awesome bartender (I assume that was her title) named Lydia and I'd return just because she was so knowledgeable about her company's products and made great suggestions. Ok so about my food. I chose elotes and mac and cheese for my sides. Mac and cheese was soooooooooooo bland. Like, not even the sausage they cut up and put in it saved it. The cheese sauce is like water the noodles looked like naked pasta. I'm sorry I was raised in Louisiana I don't know what else to say. The elotes had a spicy Mayo and cilantro! That's IT! So it should be called corn with Mayo. Lol! What I loved was Lydia asked if I wanted lean brisket or some with fat! No one has ever asked that. I appreciated that! I like FAT on my meat. The peppered sausage was CHEF KISSES. Y'all go see Lydia and the cowtown staff! She is the bomb dot com & so were all the other employees that took the time to engage us.
google avatar

Kaitlyn K.

Yelp
Had a great time at Cowtown Brewing for our first stop in Texas. We got there right as they opened on a Monday for lunch and beers. The guy at the bar when we got there was not super hospitable but bartender Lydia made up for it later in our visit. Food: we shared the 2 meat platter with pulled pork and sliced brisket with elotes, and Mac and cheese. The pork was my favorite but the sauce was a bit spicy for me. My husband loved the elotes! Beer: My husband enjoyed the Fort Worth cold beer and I got the sour that they had (I can't remember the name) but Lydia suggested I try Spirit World, which they only had in a can (she allowed me to purchase one can to try it) and it was so good! They definitely need to put that back on tap. The bartender Lydia was awesome! We told her it was our first time in Texas and she wrote out a list of places and a list of beers to try. She made the experience great. We would definitely return- and try sitting outside since they have a very cool outdoor area (it was just too warm when we were there!)

Yelp
We were in Forth Worth for a day and we were looking for a dog friendly BBQ place. My husband found Cowtown Brewing Company and it did not disappoint! As soon as we entered we noticed the place was full, we like that, that's a good sign that the food should be good... we just didn't know that it will be amazing! We started off with the brisket tacos. I mean, we are in Texas, there is no other way to start a good meal than a good brisket taco, and I cannot explain you how flavorful it was. The meat, the pico, the chipotle mayo. Perfection! Followed by a plate with pulled pork, brisket and jalapeño sausage. Tender and juicy, meat was on point, as it should be! For our sides we got the elotes and the German potato salad, oh my! So goooood! Food took a little while to arrive to the table, but honestly, we were having such a good time with friends and our doggies that it did not bother at all. They also have a great variety of beers, my fave was the Cold Forth Worth beer (American Premium Lager) and the G'night Vienna (Vienna Style Lager) If I could give this place 10 starts I'd do so. I enjoyed the place that much that I even got a set of glassware for my bar at home and the cutest red and black zipper jacket! Can't wait to go back to Texas for more good BBQ, and a Cowtown visit is already included on the plans!

Josie T.

Yelp
Burger was incredible!! So was the beer and the service, shoutout to Shawn for giving us great local recommendations!!

Gary S.

Yelp
To start, the service was excellent from walking in through the whole time. The beers I tried were very good, but the 10:12 Stout was unbeatable. The BBQ was great. The brisket was fatty, but that's no surprise. It was very flavorful. The hot sausage was great. The mac & cheese was as good as they come, and the brisket baked beans were excellent also. Another person had the barbecue turkey and they said that was excellent as well. Great beer, great food and great service too.

Wanted to find a place close by Top Golf while we waited the 3 hours! Was very happy to have found this place a few minutes away that had outdoor seating. We got to try a few brews and was all pleasantly surprised with them. We also tried the brisket quest and the bacon wrapped jalapeños. Definitely recommend both of these! They had live music playing which was amazing and just a great vibe.

Yelp
Traveling to Fort Worth with our 2 dogs, we needed a place that was dog friendly, with food, and Drinks. Driving around the area we stumbled upon this brewery that had a dog friendly patio and a delicious food truck on site. Beers were so tasty and the food from the food truck was on point. Customer service was phenomenal.

Yelp
Beer is always great. The problem is that they put themselves out there as a BBQ spot as well. And when you can get their beer and BBQ together, it is awesome! However, we've been here several times when they have no food. So disappointing since we have to drive 46 minutes to get here. In spite of how much I love their beers and food, I'm pretty much done with Cowtown.

Yelp
Stopped here on a trip. Food was good and the beer was good. Owner was nice and talked to me. The Cowboys game was on and they were losing so the crowd was quiet. The only thing which made me not give the 5 star was the fact that the bartender charged me for a sticker. My wife and I have been to 70 different breweries and nobody has ever charged us for a sticker when we have asked for one.

Yelp
It's the patio for me. Talk about a bunch of space with covering. It's a great place in this Texas heat and they also serve food. None of this food truck action the kitchen is there and many people seemed to enjoy. We just made a quick stop to check out the place and an IPA. All was well and relaxed and it's on the list to come back and eat. Inside was large with a ton of tables and televisions.

Yelp
Not coming back to this place for BBQ. The beer is good but the food isn't. They gave me moist brisket but it definitely isn't. I've had brisket many times and this isn't fatty brisket. Also you can tell that the brisket was slice at least an hour ago and was sitting a heat lamp. The guy with the beard provided good customer but the other guy was meh....
