COYA Doha

We first saw them at the Food Festival, Doha and we really liked the sweet empanadas.. We said we’d visit to try more of their menus— and here we are. All the staff are very friendly and so welcoming. Esther served us and she’s honestly the sweetest. We asked for the sweet corn empanadas, and she told us the sweet corn empanadas are usually only on Friday brunch… but she checked with the chef anyway and they made it for us. Absolutely delicious! She recommended us a bunch of other dishes and we tried them all.. everything was so good. The menu is extensive, the food and drinks were spot on, we really enjoyed the whole experience. Prices are very reasonable. We spent around 1,400 QAR for 4 cocktails, 2 pints of beer, 4 appetisers (forgot to snap the Wagyu gyoza, but shared the rest), two main courses, and a dessert. Plenty of food, and for that much, it felt very fair. Highly recommended!

We loved Coya so much we went back the next night (photos from both nights). We were looked after by Bonita and A.Wehbe and was blown away by their amazing service. Ahmed provided great cocktail suggestions and was so friendly. The food was incredible. Our favourite being the Prawn Tempura Maki Roll and the Wagu Maki Roll. Absolutely loved this restaurant!!! This is a must recommend when visiting Doha, Qatar. The service was phenomenal followed by the excellent action packed flavours in each and every different dish served to us. The portion sizes are exceptional and it will definitely keep you full. I highly recommend the churros for dessert with the chocolate sauce and the baby chicken was amazing for main course as part of the set menu. Overall, a big recommend and the go to waitress is esther from Kenya.

My first night in Doha, and I really enjoyed the food here. I was very surprised because this was my first time trying Peruvian food, and I didn’t know it could be this good. The meat was very tender, and the churros were really special. I also want to mention that the waitress (Bonita) provided very good, kind service. I’m glad I chose this restaurant for my first meal in Qatar.

The must visit in Doha We had the tasting menu. Dishes were great. Desserts exceptional. The amount was bigger than usual tasting menu, so try to be mindful, while enjoying. Very high service - thanks to Bonita for nice atmosphere in my b’day. Not crowded- so visit it before the Michelin star)

Phenomenal service and food. I had the shrimp tempura roll, cucumber salad, wagyu tacos, and fondant dessert. Everything was incredible. Service was very attentive and took great care of me. Atmosphere is really fun, very hip fun music that will have you tapping your foot and great lighting. Cant wait to come back!

First of all, the restaurant decor is stunning! The staff was beyond welcoming. And the food… each bit was better than the last! The tasting menu is worth every single penny! The cocktails were also superb! Diego also made my birthday feel extra special with the song and dessert. If you’re in Doha, you must eat here!
