COYA Doha

First of all, the restaurant decor is stunning! The staff was beyond welcoming. And the food… each bit was better than the last! The tasting menu is worth every single penny! The cocktails were also superb! Diego also made my birthday feel extra special with the song and dessert. If you’re in Doha, you must eat here!

One of my fav restaurants ♥️ I’ve been to Coya UAE branches many times and this was my first time here at Coya Doha and loved it. Service 1000/10 - the hosts took the baby stroller from me as soon as we went in until she seated us. The waitress that served us had great energy and a beautiful smile the whole time until we left. Sushi 🍣 🔥 🔥🔥 Wagyu maki role - different but totally worth it and delicious 10/10 Yellow fin maki role - 10/10 Gacamoli - 10/10 Chicken tacos - 4.8/10 (my partner enjoyed it but I didn’t) Will I come again ? Hell yeah and very soon!

Coya Doha is one of the 2025 Michelin Guide restaurants in Qatar, located inside the W Hotel in West Bay. The ambiance is truly pleasant and the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. However, the food portions were quite small, and in my opinion, both the presentation and flavors were underwhelming for a Michelin-rated restaurant. Despite going on a Friday night, only five tables were occupied in the entire spacious venue. Prices are on the higher side, which makes the overall experience feel somewhat disappointing.

COYA Doha is a true culinary gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re swept away by the vibrant energy, stunning interiors, and warm service. Every dish is a celebration of bold, Peruvian-inspired flavors. The ceviche is fresh and citrusy—an absolute must. We loved the golden, flaky empanadas, the juicy grilled skewers, and the tender beef fillet cooked to perfection. The bao buns were soft, savory, and packed with flavor, while the soft-shell crab tacos were crisp, creamy, and unforgettable. For dessert, the churros were warm and heavenly, and the cheesecake was light and luscious—a perfect end to an exceptional meal. COYA isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. 10/10.

The staff were exceptionally kind and professional. The recommendation, the sea bream was fresh and full of delicious flavor. To our delight, in addition to the dessert we ordered, we were also presented with a complimentary plate adorned with 'Welcome to COYA'. We truly enjoyed the thoughtful and great dining experiences.

I have recently tried Koya and it was a wonderful place to go to for dinner. They do serve a wonderful variety of appetizers. I got the chicken tacos and they were absolutely delicious for the main dish. I’ve got the duck breast medium well done. Oh my goodness it was in.

A truly exceptional restaurant. The food was very tasty, although a few dishes weren't quite to my taste. I was particularly surprised by the service. The waiters all stood at the back or around the tables like bodyguards, as if you had personal servants. At first, I thought it was great, but during the meal, you felt a bit watched and uncomfortable, even if it was well-intentioned. But the ambiance was truly top-notch! Beautifully darkened and elegantly decorated with natural accents, such as leaves or any Latin American masks.

Great lunch set that allows you to sample different dishes. The ceviche was fresh and bright. Love the churros too. Very warm service, and lovely atmosphere.
