Just had the BEST time at this joint in downtown Manhattan. Fantastic service, the owner is extremely friendly and accommodating and the hookah is incredible! The place is really inclusive which is always a plus! Low lighting with chill, relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again!

I loved this spot! Chill vibes and the staff is very friendly! Sheriff, the owner was very welcoming! Definitely a nice laid back spot for hookah and drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing! 5 stars!

where are these good reviews coming from? for a piece of pineapple? the staff is really great but the hookah and food still take an important place - the rating of which is 1. the only thing that was good here was the waiters and beer. the rest I wish you to spend time in another place - tobacco smells like soap and there is no effect, potatoes and fried cheese in old oil+ very cold . we were often asked to give a good review and they brought a pineapple as a gift and changed the hookah for another one for free, (the same bad one). but I can't leave a good review only for good staff, sorry

We were out and about nearby yesterday and were looking for a hookah bar to chill out at. We found this bar because of the good reviews. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The hookahs tasted very good and there was a relaxed atmosphere that lets you unwind a little from all the stress of the big city. We'd love to come back when we arrive from Germany.

Had an amazing experience at this hookah lounge in NY! The orange and mint hookah was smooth and easy to hit, and the drinks were top-notch. The vibe was great with good music, and the customer service was excellent. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

This is the best hookah because the taste is very rich and smoked for a long time - about 1 hour. Cheap prices and high quality. The cocktails are incredibly tasty and all the staff is polite and professional. The room is clean, I give it 10/10.

- very friendly owner - its open during weekday afternoons - good fries - I liked the sweet humus - chicken wings were kind of salty - I liked the sangrias - they put their hookah under ice, which makes it less harsh coals seem to burn faster though no free refills - vey dark and cozy enironment - we were the only ones there on a Thursday afternoon at two - I liked the afrobeat soundtrack

We take a few trips to NYC during the year and make it a point to stop at the Cozy Cafe for hookah and the overall ambiance. Love the homey feel and the owner, Sharif, is so welcoming and accommodating. The service is great and they play good music that allows you to talk to your party as you smoke some great hookah...highly recommend!

Came by on a beautiful Sunday with my girls and had the best time!! The owner Sherif immediately found us a spot and made sure we were comfortable. This Cozy Cafe is exceptional, full of culture, great flavors and the ambiance is beautiful for a good sesh (dimmed lights, lots of seating, and couches. The service is great, professional, and speedy. The owner has been in business for years 10+. He let me out on my own playlist and everything! A must try if you want something less commercial

Would give this 0 stars if I could. Had a group of 11 people on a Saturday night and received 1 pitcher of water. We asked for another of water and more cups. However, we were told that we couldn't get more water until we ordered more drinks. Finally, we asked for the check. It was cash only. We were not informed and there were NO signs indicating it was cash only. Very disappointed. We were not treated with respect.

My husband and I just went here. We received excellent service. We ordered a hookah and 2 drinks. The hookah was perfectly made and smooth. The drinks were good and strong. A big plus is that guests can play whatever music they want... it made a huge difference in being able to listen to whatever you want while enjoying good drinks/hookah. We had a great time!

At the end of the day, two things matter most for any establishment in New York: product and service. In these regards, Cozy Cafe is a great hookah spot. Sherif, the owner, is an incredibly friendly guy and goes out of his way to make a customer/guest feel at home. That's becoming harder and harder to find in the city and I will definitely be coming back.

Had a phenomenal time here celebrating a friend's birthday! The owner/manager (I'm not sure which one) was beyond accommodating and even let us store a cake we brought in the fridge. The hookah was surprisingly affordable for this part of the city and we can't wait to go again!

We googled Hookah bars with the highest reviews whilst shopping in SoHo. The owner, Sharif, has a great sense of humor and takes pride in what he does. The ice bucket cools the smoke to a pleasant waft of smoke. Great execution and an incredible place to switch off and connect with yourself and those closest to you.

Amazing service, drinks and hookah were served quick after being seated. We were also given the option to play our own music. Staff also showed amazing hospitality, and even provided free accommodations out of sheer generosity.
