Where To Eat In Edgewater

"With a steady stream of regulars and a retro diner look full of Naugahyde booths, this corner restaurant is indeed cozy. But more importantly, their long menu has all the classic diner food staples. Eggs, crispy hash browns, fluffy pancakes—it’s all here and it’s all great. Lunch-ish things like chicken wraps or their cheeseburger are solid, too. Their bright space has plenty of seating, but be sure to get there early on the weekend because it’s always packed." - adrian kane, john ringor

3M Restaurant - Review - Edgewater - Chicago - The Infatuation

"This casual Serbian restaurant is an incredible one-woman show. The chef-owner takes orders, busses tables, grills up cevapi—and somehow still finds time to frequently check in on you. And while the cevapi is great, there lots of other delicious dishes, from big bowls of stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes, to flaky spinach and cheese burek. The diner-esque space with old-school tables and booths is pretty sparse (other than a TV playing infomercials). But you won’t care about the undecorated space when you’re preoccupied with more important things, like dipping housemade bread in rich bean stew." - John Ringor

Amazing experience. Once again, I forgot to get the waitress name. However, everyone was so nice. The food was delicious. I got both pancakes and the Belgium waffle. I ended up finishing the waffle.

Google
Solid spot for a classic diner breakfast—was busy but we got seated quick. I had the chorizo skillet with eggs over easy and a side of pancakes, and my buddy did the country fried steak. Portions were huge, everything hit the spot. Spent about $45 for two with coffee. Service was friendly but a little slow, prob 'cause it was packed. Still, def worth it for a chill weekend brunch.

Google
The food hit the spot on a Sunday afternoon. Got a seat right away and the server was very nice and attentive! I had been craving a skillet hash and this one is definitely delicious and came with toast or a pancake.

Dewan Frazier

Google
The pancakes are definitely the star of the story! Our server was great, a very clean establishment.

Cozy Corner is one of our favorite places in all of Chicago for breakfast/brunch/lunch. You can always depend on the folks here for friendly service & delicious meals.

Google
An excellent breakfast, with a kind and quick staff. Will definitely keep coming back

We're lucky to have a classic diner like this in our neighborhood. Down to earth, huge portions, all the food is good all the time, all the service is good all the time! In other words, basically, it's good all the time :) it's a little bit more comfortable and nicely decorated than your standard greasy spoon diner. This is like a family diner, where you could take your family after church, or where you could set up a meeting with someone I'm and not feel rushed. It's a great place to just hang out over big plates of food.

By far my favorite Cozy I’ve been to every location and this one always feels like home always great vibes really good food and service.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! My partner and I were in town visiting and wanted an easy breakfast to start the day. I cannot stress enough how amazing the service was all around! Despite the breakfast rush, our waitress Carol was very attentive to us throughout our meal, and great at recommending good items (which honestly did not matter, everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing)! I ordered one of the French toast and my partner got a skillet (with some special mods that were all followed), both amazing and good portions. I especially want to touch on the service in the kitchen and all around the restaurant. It was clean and welcoming inside. Miguel, the manager was at the expo checking every dish before it went out. And all the staff seemed HAPPY. Everyone working in sync and smiling. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in town

Yelp
Came here with one other person and noticed an automatic tip was added to our check -- highlighted in yellow like they hoped we wouldn't catch it. When I asked, the manager (Miguel) eventually admitted they add tips based on whether they think someone won't tip. Seriously? Even worse, I looked around and saw white customers nearby didn't have any added tip or highlight on their checks. That felt targeted, unfair, and just wrong. Shady practice. Watch your bill. I won't be coming back.

Yelp
Had the Mexican Omelette. Portions were big and taste was excellent . Service was very good.

Yelp
On a blisteringly cold morning in Edgewater, we hurried to Cozy Corner for some warmth and it arrived in a steaming mug of black coffee. Shortly after, I got my standard by which to measure any diner: two eggs over easy, three slices of bacon, hash browns and toast. The eggs were perfectly runny (with hot sauce on the table, always a plus), the bacon was crisp and salty, the toast was crunchy and soft at the same time. And the hash browns were a mix of browned and unbrowned. Just the way I like it. I worked my way through the standard American diner fare and as soon as my cup was empty, it was refilled by our server Maria V, who knew exactly what I needed before I asked. I always love a good diner, and Cozy Corner in Edgewater is a good diner for sure. If you haven't been here yet, give it a try!

Yelp
The food sucks so bad it was not good at all for the money I spend it tastes nasty from the coffee to the skirts stake the service was great but they need to do something about the food never will I ever go to a cozy corner again

Yelp
Quick pit stop before the airplane ride home, great atmosphere and quick service the steak was delicious so I've been told and the pancakes well when I go back to Chicago I know exactly where I'll be going for pancakes

Yelp
Amazing, super high quality food. Everything on their menu is top notch! You can see and taste the quality and care they put into their food! Just awesome!

Yelp
This is a definitely our go to, really a regular tradition now, for me and my partner. The staff is so awesome and greets us warmly every time. The food is consistently delicious. They have an abundance of booth seating which we love! I think I've avoided writing a review cuz I don't want our spot to get too crowded if the secret gets out more than it already is!! There's a steady flow of customers which is always a sign of a good restaurant! And I love that the staff is happy! Super important! Definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Although the pancakes look plain the video attached, they were my favorite. The skillet was okay. I feel like I had more onions in there than anything else which I don't mind onions, but having them in every bite was too much. Our server was extremely sweet and kind and kept checking up on us. I will be coming back for the pancakes!!

Yelp
WARNING!!!! THOSE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES MUST READ!!! Let me first say I take partial accountability for returning as the following is the 2nd time this has happened to me here. I've visited this place 4x, 2 of those times my food allergy has not been taken seriously. My husband and I stopped in 9/8 for a brunch after church. I ordered the 'Fiesta Skillet' with NO chorizo. (My husband is fluent in Spanish so there was no language barrier when explaining the seriousness of the pork allergy). After leaving the restaurant within 15 mins we had to get me to a bathroom, I've had the same reaction to pork since age 11, severe stomach cramps, vomiting, sweating, and immediate need of the restroom. Mild exposure last 48-72 it's just like food poisoning for me can't leave the house and a need for tons of fluid. Instead of writing a review I called the restaurant Monday morning and had a 15 minute conversation with Miguel the manager. He was extremely apologetic and assured me that the kitchen staff is very aware and competently trained on cross contamination and food allergies. He invited us back for a comped visit and was so empathetic I naively believed him. 10/27 we decided to give it another try as we arrived I asked if Miguel was on staff, reminded him of our conversation (he did not initially remember). However he honored his word that he'd comp the meal... now I stupidly ordered the 'Fiesta Skillet' NO chorizo, we explained to the server 3x no pork, no cross contamination. SIDEBAR:: We've gone to Bryn Mawr Breakfast Place for EIGHT years, I always order the Chilaquiles and request NO chorizo, I've NEVER once had an issue. Within 30 mins of eating just a portion of the food I found myself needing a restroom (going to the restroom and vomiting simultaneously). Rather you have a food allergy, a religious restriction, or simply prefer not to consume meat. Understand that this kitchen staff is incapable of honoring such requests. I suspect that they are cooking food in the same pans meat has been cooked in causing cross contamination. NOT FOLLOWING PROPER FOOD SANITATION! I'm fortunate enough to not need an epipen when I get exposed however for the next 2-3 days I will feel horrible.

Yelp
Cozy Corner is always a super solid breakfast / brunch place, no matter which branch. I'll review Edgewater specifically, since I go regularly - probably ever other Sunday! - because it's always such a treat. The ambiance is always bright and cozy, the diner-style tables, booths, and bar are comfy, and the servers are absolutely lovely, efficient, and welcoming. Cozy Corner is always pretty solidly busy especially on weekends, but wait times are generally less than 15 minutes (in my experience). Limited parking lot available next to restaurant, but I believe parking is also available across the street at Devon Hardware. Food is always delicious and quick, and great portions - you really get a great value. This location serves 2 brunch cocktails as well - impressive Bloody Mary (according to my beau) and I can vouch for the delicious (and strong!) Mimosas (the freshly squeezed orange juice is phenomenal on its own, as well). For fun - If you use the "Too Good to Go" app that combats food waste, you can purchase a surprise bag of leftovers from Cozy Corner for $5.99 for pick up in the afternoon. They are quite popular and sell out quickly the night before! Did it once and got loads of delicious Macaroni and Cheese, Hash Browns (my weakness), and a large container of soup. Very fun! And I love that they help combat food waste this way. Breakfast or Lunch, this is an affordable go-to and neighborhood staple. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Cozy Corner is a classic diner brunch experience. There are booths, tables, and the typical counter seats. Staff are always very attentive, and they'll top your coffee repeatedly. Food options are extensive and include an early bird special for those folks looking for an early start to their day. You can't go wrong with Cozy Corner if you're looking for a regular place for any meal in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Ordered out here for some shrimp and grits. They have Cajun shrimp and grits on the menu. I order the grits and shrimp with a side of turkey sausage patties. The grits were good. The grits come with shrimp, bits of real bacon, bits of sliced green onion and cheese. The portion is enough for 3 people to eat off. The turkey sausage is tasty and not overcooked. The shrimp were nicely cooked the way shrimp should be cooked. The way the grits are prepared makes them Cajun but this is not grits and shrimp cooked with Louisiana red sauce. I enjoyed this meal! If you are hungry for cheesy grits with Cajun shrimp and bacon this is your place for sure! I recommend.

Yelp
My guy and I were in the area and I chose based on the 4.2 reviews to have date day here. Our waiter Alan was PHENOMENAL!! Very friendly and Knowledgeable was on top of everything except the extra Mayo but that wasn't a big deal. No one is perfect There is parking in the front, down and across the street but it's pay to park. The food was ok to me and really good to my guy. I had French toast with eggs with cheddar cheese and crispy bacon even though my bacon didn't look burnt. It had a burnt taste. The French toast was just OK. I've made better at home and the eggs were just eggs with cheese so they weren't bad or good. they were just OK so everything in my opinion for my food was OK. My guy on the other hand loved his burger, maxed it!! and then turned around and ordered a side of french toast which he ate as well. Would I go here again no, would I recommended it? Based on service and the value for the quantity yes. It's not the best but it's not the worst. I hope you have a better experience!!

Yelp
I had a booooomb breakfast at cozy corner. Ok admittedly I just got the classics: scrambled eggs, bacon, and chocolate chip pancakes. But everything tasted so FRESH. The bacon I swear had to have been just cooked, it was hot and crispy and soooo good. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. The chocolate chip pancakes were plentiful! Everything was awesome. The prices were pretty steep but it was worth it! I feel like I pay similar (maybe slightly less) for the same breakfast at other spots but the food isn't nearly as fresh, tasty, or as large of portions. Highly recommend cozy corner for a casual breakfast spot! Oh - and they have flavored creamers for coffee. My fave!

Yelp
Great food & service! Would definitely recommend and return! Place was full of people and I see why. Service was very fast! Skillet was amazing! I ordered hollandaise sauce on the side but did not need it!

Yelp
Amazing service. Very clean and nice place. A little pricey for breakfast though. Food was good. Not great. One time thing. I would stop in again and probably will the next time I'm in Chicago

Yelp
Have been here several times for breakfast and I've never had a bad experience or meal. As busy as they've been when i have gone; the food is always consistent and cooked just right. I've only been for breakfast, but the menu has a variety of dishes for a family style/diner restaurant.

Yelp
I visited here in a Saturday around 11:15, and was very surprised to be seated immediately. That was a plus, as far as I'm concerned, and I don't think it says anything bad about the quality of the restaurant. Parking is at a premium here--there's probably about 10 spaces total in their parking lot right next to be building. However, there is a parking lot across Devon where you can park for a few, and there are a few spaces along Ashland that are pay to park as well. Oh, and there's an bus stop directly in front of the door to the building. The restaurant has about 10 counter spaces in addition to the standard booths and tables. They offer pickup and delivery.

Yelp
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went in to Cozy Corner on Clark at 2:50pm for a Too Good to Go pick-up. I understand completely that you never know what you're going to get in a TGTG bag, and that wasn't my complaint. (Although, be warned - it was literally the scraped out bottoms of a vat of soup and a tiny bit of leftover rice with two pieces of bread - save your money.) My problem was the HORRIBLE, ATROCIOUS customer service. I went to pick up the bag, and the man at the counter stopped before handing it to me, reached into the cooler and pulled out a giant lemon. (He swears it was an orange now that it's gone up to his boss, but I'll provide photos and you tell me.) He dropped the lemon into the bag, tied it up and handed it to me. I took it home, and when I opened it, the lemon had punched a hole into the top of the soup container, and the soup had spilled ALL OVER the entire contents of the bag. I didn't want to fish through chicken noodle soup for remnants, so I threw EVERYTHING away. Honestly, I was a little annoyed, but things happen, so I decided to call and tell them what happened. I was calm and polite. I got the same guy who had packed the bag on the phone (Jose - a manager) and he insisted that A. It wasn't a lemon and B. They can't guarantee I'll like what was in the bag. I told him several times that I wasn't complaining about the food, but about the fact that he lobbed a huge lemon into the bag and it broke the packaging, spilling soup all over everything so I had to throw the bag away. He LAUGED at me, never ONCE apologized for the lemon, and said, "Okay, I'll give you another bag." He was openly mocking me, laughing at me and really, really rude. I told him to keep the bag, but I won't ever come back because of how he was laughing at me. He laughed MORE and said, "Great. That's good." The man was disgusting and rude and cruel and (I felt) incredibly sexist. I just didn't feel that I would have been spoken to that way if I hadn't been a woman. His boss called me to discuss what happened and I finally got an apology. But then very quickly what came out of his mouth next was, "He's been with us five years and everyone really likes him." So I'm left to assume that this is their culture. They're cool with men treating women like this. It's so incredibly gross. They could have offered me a $100 gift certificate (he didn't offer me ANYTHING), but I wouldn't have taken it because I would never step foot in that restaurant again. I suggest you stay FAR away. Incredibly gross.

Yelp
I used to love Cozy Corner back in the day and hadn't been there in years, so I was excited to visit again. They used to have the best lemon chicken soup or something similar. I visited on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and a friend. We were greeted and seated immediately by the hostess. I ordered a grilled cheese and fries. The meal also came with a drink. The meal was $12.99, which is a tad expensive for bread, cheese, and potatoes. The soda also seemed to be generic. It definitely wasn't Coke or Pepsi. The sandwich was good, but I could take or leave the fries. My sister had the club sandwich, which is said, was just okay. She didn't like the fries. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles, which he loved. He said the chicken was really good. So much so that he said he was still thinking about it the next day. Our server was a young lady named Centuria or something like that. I asked her what the soup of the day was, and she said, "I don't know. I just work here." I didn't say anything to the waitress at the time, but I didn't care for that reply. It gave an air of "I don't give a fudge about my job." She should have simply said she didn't know, but she would find out. Other than that, she was friendly and semi attentive. One thing I observed was our waitress eating, which she was on the floor. She would eat and wipe her hand with hand sanitizer before touching food that was to be served to customers. I didn't like that because it's not sanitary. There's no reason an employee should be eating while on the clock serving patrons. I witnessed her chewing food while she was walking to speak with customers seated adjacent to my table. Overall, the experience was okay, but I doubt that I'll visit a Cozy Corner location again anytime soon.

Yelp
I always enjoyed eating at diners. For me, diners provided some sort of comfort. When walking around, we saw upon Cozy Corner Restaurant. So glad we did! What stood out was the advertisement of the early bird specials. I do like the early bird specials. It starts at 7am and ends at 9am. The prices range from $9.99 to $10.99 on breakfast items. I ordered the vegetarian omelette. I decided on the fruit and toasted rye bread. It tasted amazing! Joseph ordered the meat lovers skillet. He said it tasted good. While we dined on our food, we needed to rest as we just moved into the neighborhood. So we took our time and looked out the windows to take in the atmosphere. Our server, Arturo did a fabulous job in serving us. Prompt and courteous, he made sure we got what we needed. Come and bring friends, family or even a date.

Yelp
My family was looking for a quick breakfast before we got on the road. We drove past the cozy corner and decided to try it out. They offer parking right across the street from the building which was great, because parking can be a headache in Chicago. We had a short wait but was seated after only ten minute. The food was good but I loved their pancakes. My server was very attentive to my family. I definitely would go back.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
4 Stars all around. Prices are on the high side, for example an omelette is $16. The Eggs Benedict were good. I asked for the grilled tomato on the side. I was afraid if it went directly on the English muffin, it would have made it soggy. Hash browns were nice and crispy. They have a small parking lot but I wouldn't count on getting a spot there. We parked on the street at a metered spot.

Yelp
Lino was a friendly and amazing server! The mimosas and skillets were yummy. Love this place!

Yelp
My favorite breakfast in the Rogers Park neighborhood! PROS -- Best French Toast platter I've ever had. And they make it consistently excellent. For the rest of my life, I want French Toast like this! -- Super friendly staff. Positive vibes; nice people. You can tell they care about each other and their customers. -- Safe and clean. I always feel I can relax and enjoy the food. CONS -- I usually pay about $25 for my breakfast, which feels a bit high to me. -- I've ordered hashbrowns several times, but they are never crispy enough for me.

Yelp
WATER, smile, SILVERWARE and Napkin sorry......not that hard. FOMO....I see it all the time. So interested in everything going on around you that nota single employee notice the lack of silverware in front of a customer. IT'S GOOD.... There are so many establishments that have an incredible staff that look forward to being PRESENT FOR MY EXPERIENCE IN YOUR RESTAURANT .... Whilst PAYING for my food..... that I can't enjoy without silverware .....I KNOW, I HEAR YOU ALL..... Why not just ask for a knife and spoon..... WHY SHOULD I EVERY SINGLE DAY ????? Service is getting lazy and I'm in the industry..... SO WORD TO THE WISE, I wouldn't hire you to work with my customers.... Really glad you all have jobs there!! Your lack of service teaches me how to be a better restaurateur!!!! That's why I left you a tip and Paid in full for a lousy English Muffin that I couldn't even butter

Yelp
I've been coming to this location since 2004 and I've always liked their food how ever service is lacking today I put my name down with a 15 to 20 min wait. I waited half an hour then I asked and they added another 25 minutes to my wait. But saw many who came in sign their name and were seated before me. Talked to someone who I know recognized me and just gave me an empty stare. Automatically I know not to come back here where you are not valued as a repeat costumer know your worth as a consumer and avoid this place Pic shows how not crowded the place was

Yelp
I got this one sandwich that I be trying and it's decent asl. Sometimes the waiters take too long even when we came in before other people.

Yelp
Jami is an excellent server! She always has a positive attitude every time my family and I dine here. Jami is very attentive and always has a smile on her face, which is transferable and allows us to have a great experience. She is awesome!

Yelp
Cozy is just a great neighborhood spot for breakfast the folks are super nice and service is great. My only complaint is that they close at 300pm. Sometimes you just want breakfast for dinner.

Yelp
Chilaquiles with Salsa Verde + Chicken: This is what I ordered and it was between this and the huevos rancheros. Definitely this is the more expensive choice but also a larger plate. Our waitress recommended the green salsa over the red (which is my typical choice) but I am so happy I listened to her! The green salsa was fab and I asked for a side of the red, which I ate with the rice, and it was a less flavorful option. The refried beans were very tasty and the chicken added on made me feel like I at least got some protein instead of just having nachos for breakfast. $12 for the chilequiles and then $3.50 for the chicken - so kind of pricey for a diner but I would order again. 5/5 Biscuits and Gravy: This was kinda meh. I feel like the best thing about a diner such as this is guaranteed good carbs and the biscuits were smallish and blah. I would recommend a different option, but that said B&G is like pizza - it's always satisfying. 3.5/5 Hashbrowns: These deserve their own section because I stole some of my friends and they were so tasty! Seems simple to make good hashbrowns, but lots of diners get it wrong, whereas this place got it just right! Not soggy but not too crispy, with just the right amount of crunchy friedness. 5/5 Chicken and Rice Soup: We got this as a bowl and it came early so my bestie and I scarfed it down, even cleaning the bowl with the white roll that accompanies it. It's simply flavored and we added some Cholula into the mix at the end to spice it up - which worked well with the creaminess. 5/5 There was no wait at 11 am on a Monday and the food was all super hot fresh from the oven. The ambiance is diner-ish but I mean - that's what you get. Parking is also easy (to get in) in a dedicated lot in front of the restaurant- although it's annoying pulling out of the spot due to the layout. Service was friendly but not too "extra" and very attentive. We were in and out fast, which was our priority to catch a flight. Food didn't blow me away but it was filling and just the ticket on a hungover Monday post-Lollapalooza.

Yelp
We been coming to this location for a while now and we usually like it but today we had a Karen as our waitress we got there the hostess set us on her area and she wasn't happy about it I guess she thought we didn't speak English but her comment made me feel angry ( why did u sit them on my side now there going to have to wait) not even a good morning she got us water then after that got my husband's order wrong and when I told her she acted like she was making us a favor by asking the cook loudly for extra eggs and asked us to keep the once they made wrong because she wasn't paying attention to her job and we left her her eggs and a good tip they need better costumer service period. And if I gave it a 2 star is because the place is always clean.

Yelp
Not to be confused with Cosplay Corner, which is much sexier, or Coldplay Corner, which is much whinier and less sexy. Really cute and enjoyable late-night All American Diner in the middle of the Indian Pakistani neighborhood of Chicago - so if you're up in this area and what you really want is a break from all the delicious curries that you have been eating, then this is a fantastic option for you. Absolutely delicious and a little on the pricey side but it's Chicago so you kind of expect that. I highly recommend it.
google avatar

Michelle R.

Yelp
Cozy Corner is just that cozy! The service is warm and welcoming and the ambiance is giving iHop (which is a good thing)! You can get really good breakfast basics here which I appreciate. Overall, solid breakfast spot and are usually pretty quick to accommodate you evening during business peak times.

Yelp
Ehhh. God damn that soup was THICK. Also those refried beans.. dont get em. This aint subway u aint eating fresh buster. Besides that nothing bad to say lol just ur averags breakfast place

Yelp
Nice and comfortable inside clean and relaxing. Had an omelet with hash browns and the hash browns were just flat out delicious light fluffy and buttery I could not believe it (Compared to that place I used to eat) Servers are very friendly. Only had one weird experience there. Going to try it some more and some other dishes I'll let you know
google avatar

Genevieve K.

Yelp
It definitely looks sort of divey from the outside, but the atmosphere when inside was really sweet. They had a lot of seating, and although they were somewhat busy our service was fast and great. Got pancakes and a breakfast skillet, both of which were great. That and two drinks totaled around 40 dollars, so not too crazy for a diner like breakfast. Will be back!

Yelp
My friend and I just left after treating ourselves to a [fur] Momma's Day brunch. The place was packed, but the food was great, large portion, and our server Jami was a rockstar! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This is our favorite local brunch spot. Everything on the menu is great and I can't think of anything I haven't enjoyed here. The service is amazing, even on the weekends when the place is packed (pre covid). Highly recommend eating here or picking it up to go.

Yelp
Cozy Corner is such a cute restaurant. It's a favorite for my fiance and his best friend. He always tells me stories of their days of visiting Cozy Corner over the years. Cozy corner is very spacious inside that could easily accommodate various size groups. The restaurant is filled with bright colors and the wait staff is very welcoming. The food at Cozy Corner is priced reasonably, depending on what you order, but some dishes seem a little over priced. I wanted to order the steak chilaquiles but they were asking for dang near $20. I've never seen steak chilaquiles priced so highly. But the portions are massive so it can be worth the higher price if you can split the meal in two. I ended up getting one of the All Day Breakfast specials. The food was tasty and I was able to take a decent amount home. Cozy Corner is worth checking out if you're looking for a new breakfast place to check out.

Yelp
Classic diner food for breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff with quick service. Some favorites are the country skillet, biscuits and gravy and the chili. Love their burgers. Also a good value.

Yelp
Cozy Corner's food is usually tasty. My family regularly ordered food from Cozy Corner for years. Normally the delivery was fine. However, from time to time, mistakes happen, and I would call them to correct the issue. Well I've done that for the last time. The restaurant frequently delivered my cold items and warm packaged in such a way that the cold items (yogurt) would melt. I added notes to my delivery order to prevent that, and it happened again today. When I called to ask for a replacement or refund, the manager copped an attitude and told me they were busy, and preceded to tell me essentially to just accept their mistake because they were busy. I was taken aback by his tone and reminded him that I was a regular customer. He said "yes, and you complain a lot too." Well, I complain when the service I pay for is not provided correctly. Given this is the response Cozy Corner gives to loyal customers, I won't ever use their service again.

Yelp
So. As a former breakfast chef, and Restauranteur I was a little skeptical about ordering breakfast to-go. So much can go wrong. Cold food, soggy eggs, bad timing, long delivery, etc. I've always been weird about Togo breakfast. None the less I gave it a shot and I ordered Scrambled Eggs with cheddar- It was very nice. Soft scramble I worried it would be like rubber. I was very pleased by the egg here and the cheddar gave it that salty ness it needed. Skillet- I loved the skillet I would only recommend with all the pots, and veggies don't be shy to add a little salt in there. Tastes very good I could just tell the veggies weren't salted. Seasonings it what will bring that extra level out. A pinch of salt when sauté those veggies will make a big difference. With that being said I wasn't disappointed it still delivered as the bacon gave it a touch of salty ness it really needed, the egg was cooked perfectly. They also don't have a Nutella crepe option but I requested one and they hooked it up! Amazing. I rated this a 4 JUST because the salt some of it was bland. Everything was cooked amazing and if you guys out that pinch of salt in your food it'll be the game changer for sure, id recommend this place and I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Yelp
Good for breakfast. No reservations taken, none needed. JEN is the boss when it comes to managing the line/crowds. We've come in two different Sundays and the longest we have had to wait is 15 minutes. Portions are huge. Check out our picks from yesterday's breakfast. You will definitely have leftovers. Aimee was our sever and she was awesome. Always kept my friend's ice tea and our waters filled. Food came out quickly and was delicious. My only compliant was our hash browns this time around were a little too dense therefore more mushy and not crispy like I had them the first time here. Definitely coming back again and again.

Yelp
The food was pretty good and the service was very kind. While this restaurant was not accessible for families and kids we did enjoy our time! The staff was so so kind! The bathrooms had a changing table which was really helpful.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to come here! My husband and I came here around 9:30 to have breakfast and we were seated immediately even though it was pretty packed. Our waiter was really attentive and efficient. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes (with Ghirardelli) and it was fabulous. My husband ordered buttermilk pancakes and he loved it too. We also ordered a side of hash and eggs that were perfectly made as well. We appreciated the quick service even if it was busy and the restaurant itself was clean and really well maintained. Definitely coming back!
