Cozy Rice (小稻屋肠粉店）

This spot is super low key in the back of the 38 food hall, and damn, is it worth checking out. The shrimp and beef rolls with the chili on top is one of my favorite things to eat in the city. The noodles are soft and silky, the filling is generous, and the oil is just enough spice and numbing without being over powering. I cannot find these at home, and I know I’m going to be craving them heavily. I wish I had come sooner in my trip because they were so delicious eating them once just doesn’t feel right.

So delicious. Thin and bouncy rolls. They do not skimp on portion size and amount of shrimp!! A welcome addition to the abysmal food options in Bryant Park

This place is inside a little food hall. There's tables and chairs at the end of the hall. Small spot but very cute and the food is amazing! The rice rolls are so good! If I wasn't full, I would've definitely ordered more. I got the shrimp one and I loved how this place did not skimp on the shrimp at all. Almost every bite had a shrimp with it! The curry fishballs were delicious too. Tea eggs are always a classic item. 👌

Love the authentic classic stuffed rice noodle rolls. Authentic and reasonably priced. For dessert, the lava golden yolk custard buns are amazing. Some limited seating in the back but it's counter serve and in a food hall with multiple other stalls.

The food was warm and absolutely delicious! The mix of soy sauce and spicy oil was perfect. I’m definitely coming back again!

A good place to get a quick breakfast bite. The jianbing is pretty good. Located in a good court with some other vendors.

Very no frills on the outside, but the food is amazing! I have to get this every time I come to NYC. My friend flew back to HK and got the noodles again at a restaurant, but said that Cozy Rice was actually way better. Couldn't believe it was that good!! Just wish the dining areas were a bit cleaner, and that maybe they can think of an alternative to the plastic disposable ware. Love the noodles, the porridge, but the tea eggs are not very well marinated/marbled and don't have much of the salty tea flavor.

Cozy Rice really lives up to its name! The food is fresh, comforting, and full of flavor — the rice rolls and congee are especially delicious. Everything tastes homemade and authentic, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the place has a clean, cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. Perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal any time of day!
