Crab Kitchen Cajun Seafood Restaurant

Went to try a seafood boil for the first time and chose this place. I will be back!! The food was so delicious and the older couple who ran the place were so nice and welcoming. The guy even came out and gave us a bowl of sauce while we were eating. 1000/10!!!

The Crab Rangoon was the best we’ve ever eaten! I will be back for that alone. My wife and I got two different Seafood Boils. She had hers with The Garlic Butter. I Got mine with the house blend and very hot. The heat wasn’t bad but it made everything taste the same. Next time I go it will be Garlic Butter only! It was overpriced in my opinion. the high rating is for the service, and my wife loved it.

Nice neighborhood seafood restaurant. The fried shrimp basket was very tasty. The shrimp hush puppies were also a treat. The service was good. The owner tried to make sure I could watch the football clearly and comfortably. Stop in a for quick meal. The restaurant was very clean.

Last night we stopped at this cute hole in the wall spot called, Crab Kitchen Cajun Seafood. We had hush puppies and a seafood boil! The food was delicious! Don’t do the house special or Cajun if you dont like spicy. The owner was amazing and was full of so much happiness and good vibes! I am all about supporting small businesses. If you are craving seafood or near Westland, go check them out! 🦞 😋 🍽️

We loved all the food, and the owners are very nice people. I especially liked the zesty coleslaw, the Cajun fries, and the bit of lemon pepper in the fried fish seasoning. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice seafood boil or some fried seafood.

I was looking around for a seafood place to go to for my mother In laws birthday, and came across this place. Since the first call I has a good experience. The restaurant is ran by husband and wife it seems like, dealing with both of them was very pleasant. Like I had mentioned from the first call they were friendly and accommodating, which was cool because this is not a huge place and I had a big party of 25. The food was good, fresh, and hot. The place was clean. And both husband and wife made our birthday experience so fun and comfortable from start to finish. I'll definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also menu is not super expensive.

The snow crab was well seasoned and this was the first crab place where you can add steamed veggies to your bag, I added broccoli and it was delicious! I had the Cajun and garlic butter. The crab boil included a boiled egg, next time I would ask them to leave that out as it seemed like there were small pieces of egg shell in the bag.

I dropped by this restaurant and picked up a menu in 2024. I met the owner and I was pleased with its presentation. It looked clean, cozy, and didn't reek of fish. I promised I would come back and try an item so today I did. It's a small place but about 75% of the tables were filled with customers. They all seemed to be really be enjoying their meals. I ordered the seafood boil to go with garlic butter, head off shrimp and crab legs. It was absolutely fantastic. I've been missing out on great tasting food. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.

Came in by myself last Monday and had a great time! The cashier was the cook and the server as well. I was the only one dinning in but saw a few people picking up to go! I got seafood boil with lobster, snow crab cluster and head on shrimp with the house special sauce medium. Crabs weren't cooked perfect as not all the legs pulled out easily but they were so tasty! Lobster was a bit chewy, I'd never had it in a seafood boil before but I'd recommend more legs instead of the lobster. Shrimp was good! The sauce wasn't very spicy I'd go hotter next time overall great experience though and I love that they include corn and potatoes in the meal

I got the half pound snow, crab and Dungeness crab. I got extra hard boiled eggs. I got the house special sauce, which is a mix of all three sauces. The food was better than I could have expected. Staff are also pleasant and check in on you. It's like a hole in the wall hidden restaurant. Place was also very clean.

Amazing service thank you Sue as well as great food thanks Kenny. From the time we walked in to departure Sue gave such great hospitality making sure we ordered the best on the menu although everything I can imagine is tasty and savory you won't be disappointed at all in your food or services

Amazing! Fast friendly service with awesome food! The owner takes pride in his work. He's quite a foodie himself. We chatted quite a while during our visit. Low crowd on a Sunday at lunch time. Owner chooses ingredients and prep with quality and intent to not over salt the foods. Too bad the public doesn't realize the quality of ingredients and choices made. Scallops are top notch! Never had them in a boil like this. I chose the house seasoning which I found to be perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spice. I chose seafood boil with shrimp (head off), scallops (humongous), and sausage, which comes with potatoes, corn, and a hard boiled egg. Ordered mine medium spice which I'd say compares to a Thai spice level of medium. My husband ordered a boil with shrimp (head off), crawfish, crab legs, potatoes, corn, and hard boiled egg, Cajun, hot spice level. He thoroughly enjoyed everything he had and polished everything off including some of my sausage. He said it was perfect flavor, not too salty, spice level was as expected. We'll be back again soon!

After our favorite Belleville seafood boil place closed, we were in the market to find a new one - and I'm so glad we found this place! The service is excellent, very welcoming. It's a fun little spot (maybe it used to be a Pizza Hut?) with ocean-themed decor. I have ordered their appetizers (crab rangoon) a few times, but they aren't the star of the show. The seafood boil here comes out in a bag. In my 4 visits, I've tried crab legs, shrimp, mussels, scallops, and crawfish. All of these were fresh, and the "House Special" sauce was awesome - cajun and buttery and spicy, it really made everything down to the potatoes and corn feel like part of an excellent dining experience. If my arteries allowed it, I would be back here all the time. As it is, I'll be back as soon as I can, and hope to see you there.

This place is amazing!!! I've had many crab boils but this one is just the best! I took my girlfriend on a date here the place was very clean and had amazing service the wait was very fast and the owner made the experience personal and checked on us alot. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The seafood was very fresh and well seasoned. There was some Asian influence that made this crab boil very original with a flavor I can't explain except perfect sweet, spicy, and not too salty. There are also really cool backdrops on the wall for pictures with friends or your date.

Came here for my mom's birthday with a large party while the owners were understaffed and the food and service was still very good! The service was amazing. Really top notch. The husband and wife duo are kind and inviting. They gave my mom a piece of cake and charm!

Not very busy when I came. I simply wanted to try the crab bites just to get a quick snack. It's not a very large restaurant so I'm sure it fills up quickly during lunch or dinner time. I thought the food I ate was quite delicious, but I really want to return and explore more of the menu. The crab meat was very tender and the sweet sauce that came with my order perfectly complemented them. The food here is quite $$$, but that's normal for most places that primarily serve seafood. Great family owned business

Food was really good, and service was great! I had a combo basket with fried shrimp and tilapia. The gentleman who waited on us was very attentive and patient.

I came here with my boyfriend at 7 pm after a long day of pretty much not eating. Despite coming a bit late at night, the owners were super friendly and sat us down immediately. Let me just say this is hands down the best seafood boil I ever had. It's fresh. It's super well seasoned. And honestly for the quality of the seafood we gotten, we were surprised by our bill (in a good way!) I've had seafood far less quality, far less fresh, and far less seasoned for twice as much as what we paid for. Not to mention, the owners are super friendly and attentive, stopping by our tables several time to ask if the food was okay and if we wanted any refills. I also love the vibe of the place. It is small but the older music they played reminds me of eating at a seafood restaurant in Asia where you just have these oldies playing while you're eating seafood, drinking, and having a good time with friends and family. My boyfriend and I are already talking about coming back despite me living out of state. I'll be happy to hop on a plane just to come back immediately. But we will definitely come back. If you are looking for a sign to come here, this is it!!

We had two adults and four children there for a special dinner. The food was excellent., everyone had an amazing time The owners were extremely friendly people. We will definitely be going there again.

Best fried fish ! Breaded not greasy ...I don't care for beer battered I find that too greasy the fish here was fantastic not greasy . I ordered breaded flounder with a side of sweet potatoes! Will definitely be back:)

Great food, I liked the hot spicy level. The seafood boil is the best. Fries are great. The service was great. It was 10 ppl in my party and they were very attentive. I do recommend calling ahead for a reservation if you have a large party just to make sure they feel prepared. The ambiance is simple, things are served in baskets or paper plates which feels very authentic. You get a bib and gloves to dig in. Highly recommend.

Ordered the chicken schnitzel over the phone. Order was hot and ready when I got there. Sandwich was great and place smelled fantastic. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely disgusting. Wasn't well seasoned. Thank God I had old bay because I had to add old bay from my cabinet. I paid over $70 for my boil I'm disappointed in how the sauce tasted. Not i wonder how they got all these good reviews because my food was gross. I got 1 pound clams, 1 pound New Zealand mussels, 1 pound shrimp, 1 pound crawfish.

Absolutely loved it. Since our previous seafood place closed, I was anxious to find a new "seafood home." Crab Kitchen IS now my new seafood home! And not because I have no other options, Crab Kitchen is genuinely a great restaurant. The price is super reasonable, the head-off shrimp they serve are huge! I love the sauce they serve. It's super heavy on the garlic, which I love. The owners came to check on us often, but not intrusive. They're also really sweet and great to chat with. I'm looking forward to going back with my husband and pig out on the delicious seafood again.

Was really excited to try to this place as its new and different. And today was the day! For the appetizer we got the crab ragoon which came out super hot and delicious. Wasn't a big fan of their dipping sauce. The waitress said it was bbq and something else which was suppose to make this their house duck sauce. It just had a different odd flavor to it. So I chose some siracha instead and enjoyed that. If you like seafood boils, you'll enjoy this place. The taste was good and portions as listed. Decided to get 3 1/2 choices and that was super filling. The crab leg cluster, shrimp and mussels. Picked the house special seasoning and medium spice level- everything came out quickly and flavorful. The best was dipping everything in the sauce in the bottom of the bag from the shrimp after removing the shell or break opening a mussel. I've had seafood boils before, and crab legs are usually still crunchy so they're easier to crack/break... here though they seemed soggy so breaking them was kinda difficult.

We got delivery from here tonight and wow was it good. My son got the 1lb boil with New Zeland mussels and shrimp Cajun style. Hubs and I got the garlic butter boil with 1lb black mussels, 1/2l lb clams and added a sausage- I want to drink the sauce it's so good! This totally came packaged perfectly and hot. This is going to be my new go to when I want seafood. Can't wait to try some crab next time and maybe the frog legs...mmmmm

Delicious! Great portion sizes. And great service! The owners/staff are super friendly and sweet! We got the Crab Kitchen Platter and we had to take half of it home cuz we were stuffed! Check out the pics of the portion size. We got the triple seasonings, mild- and I'm hooked! Coming back for more! Tons of people came in to pick up take out. Located by Westland Mall, easy to get to. Lots of parking. They could push tables together if you had a large group.

We had a great dinner on Valentine's always great service and food. The crab legs and shrimps were very fresh tasting. Hubby loves the green muscles and let's not forget the hush puppies and the crab Rangoon's delicious. Wish I would have took pictures

Quick service. Order was available within 25 minutes. We ordered the seafood boil. It was a good amount of seafood. Wished it also included more potatoes and corns without adding additional price. The seafood boil came with exactly one half corn and two potatoes as described. The quality was not bad. Order extra sauce. We enjoyed the Cajun sauce. Will definitely order again. Friendly staff.

10th trip to crab kitchen! Brought my buddy to show him the place. His expectations were high, and they were exceeded! The dish I get is a bag of love. And the enthusiasm of the owners adds to the satisfaction of the food, you can really tell they're happy to serve these dishes. King crab. It's rediculous how perfectly done it is. And as far as flavor - in one morsel of broccoli theres more flavor than most restaurants keep in their entire kitchens. Southern boil, house special seasoning, medium heat, which is spicy and perfect for allowing the seafood flavors to still permeate. And this added touch of a hard boiled egg to soak up the sauce. Unique and awesome. I could drink the broth but instead I ordered a side of garlic bread to soak it up. And in the midst of destruction there it was, a lobster tail, immense and luscious, soaking in the juices of its fallen brethren. Buried beneath the most massive leg of crab I've ever hefted. I've spent meals in Alaska that couldn't remotely compare to the delicacy that is crab kitchen. Epic yet modest, Anthony Bourdain is the only voice worthy to dictate how precious of a gem this hidden house of crab is.

I have ordered a seafood boil bag ( 1 Lb snow crab leg, half pound of shrimp and a lobster tail) with house special sauce and medium spicy . The crab legs are larger And fresh. The sauce has good flavor and delicious. Good service. I definitely recommend it for all.

WOW! What can I say!! I came here for my birthday lunch with my mom today (03/09) . I loved how attentive the owners were, especially with their new waitress, how patient they were. I love seeing business like this. The food was phenomenal. I've never had a seafood boil and wow!! I had my leftovers in the car and couldn't wait to get home to eat more!! A great price for the amount and the flavor!!!! The owner woman was so sweet it was her birthday today - and she gave me a piece of cake to take home I haven't been to a family type business in ages ... I'm 150% coming back as often as I can and recommending to everyone I talk to !!!

We bought take out from here before and this is our first time dine in. The seafood tasted great. We had both the Cajun and garlic butter. Both of them are wonder. Their sauce can get really hot if you choose the higher spicy level but it was really good. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back next time.

Went here for a Shrimp Po'Boy, was very impressed, as there was so many shrimp that they kept falling out of the bun. The sandwich comes with cajun fries also very good, though I could use just a little more Cajun spice. Overall very good I will definitely be back. The service was good though it was for take out, very pleasant and helpful. The place appeared clean, but as I said just in for takeout will have to dine in next time. Will hold on the fifth star until I dine in.

l have ordered a seafood boil, one pound of snow crab leg and one pound of shrimp headless with house special sauce and medium spicy. The sauce is incredibly delicious and it is so unique that no other restaurant can replicate it. I love the sauce that is really great. I recommend you to try it once and you'll appreciate the wonderful taste of the sauce. The server is so nice and the restaurant is so clean. I will go to dinner tomorrow and see you there.

Awesome canjun seafood! I like the steamed seafood at this place. They remove the shrimp intestines for customers. Details oriented! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes seafood.

My son purchased this beautiful feast for my birthday. It was just 3 of us, it was a lot of food, enough food for the next day. The crab legs were the best. You can tell this food was prepared with love. It was seasoned to perfection. Like it's was straight out of Louisiana. The seafood was fresh and hot. I'm going back to try their Po Boys.

Their boils are soooo good. So flavorful. Everything cooked to perfection. Easily the best shrimp I've ever had! The fried foods were okay. The boils are amazing.

Order online! Brand new spot, apparently it used to be a Pizza Hut in a past life. Growing pains were apparent when we arrived but the staff were handling it well, well as well as they could for Valentine's Day. And it's tough, maybe having separate lines for ordering, online orders, dining in guests, but I've never worked in food service so I wouldn't know how that would work. Food was good, our order was plenty for 4 people. Good luck with this new endeavor for these restaurant owners! We will be back.

We ordered lobster tail, shrimps, and some fish fries. Man! They know their stuff. I was skeptical about it, tbh. But they surprised us with their perfect blend of Cajun spices with veggies in the seafood boil. Definitely going back there more. Probably the best seafood place in Canton Westland area.

Tried this place for the first time tonight for takeout. Everything was fantastic! We didn't know what we wanted to order, so we got several different items off the fried menu. The Crab Rangoon, Fried Crab Sticks, Shrimp and Hush Puppies were all great. Serving sizes are a very good value. We will definitely be going back to dine in and try one of the seafood boils!

I have to admit, with all of the "Chicken and Fish" places nearby, I was a bit skeptical. This was anything but that. I had the Shrimp Poboy and Frog Legs basket. Absolutely fantastic! Cooked to perfection, flavorful, and fresh out of the fryer. I am so happy Crab Kitchen came to be. I will be a loyal customer and look forward to trying their Seafood Boils. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

This place is amazing!! Hands down the best seafood boil I have ever had in my entire life! Excellent, fast, and friendly service. The staff were super friendly, and the server was very knowledge and had great recommendations about the menu. 10000/10 would recommend! Would give ten stars if I could!

Oh how I love this place. The owners are so friendly and funny, and the food is top notch.

We were looking forward to having frog legs as they are not available in many places. Unfortunately, these were terrible, having more crust than KFC's extra crispy chicken. Good frog legs are cooked to be somewhat delicate with a light coating. These were old and tough plus they were cooked in old oil with an unforgivable smell. Both the fries and frog legs dripped oil though surprisingly, the fries were not soggy, probably because they were crunchy. When we got home, we had to wash our hands with Dawn to get the oil and smell off.
