Crab World Seafood Restaurant

I ordered through Uber Eats. Was kind of disappointed with my selections. Out of all the crab boil places on the app I chose this one and the food was mediocre. I purchased the 1/2 lb of garlic butter shrimp along with the Cajun shrimp fried rice with sausage. The shrimp were ok but could’ve used more fresh garlic. The rice was super bland. You can taste some of the what was supposed to be Cajun flavor. Or a dish I would recommend. Wasn’t too impressed. On another note they were closing within an hour and they prepared and sent out my purchase super quick. 20/25 min delivery

Food was great and such a deal! All wing baskets come with fries so I got 6 wings and fries for 9! Amazing prices and wide selections, the lady was very nice and even gave me 3 sauces without me having to ask!

Surrounding area is ok but the motel itself is outdated elevator is starting to look very bad, flies and roaches in the microwave and in the rooms, door fixtures are almost broken and pool looks like it will never be cleaned

The service is great, lady at the front is very nice and they’re very generous. They pre-crack the king crab legs down the middle to help it marinate! Lady hooked us up bc we had a big order. We got blue crab, king crab, lobster tail, sausage, shrimp. Food was incredible and delicious. Tiramisu dessert was great! Ended up eating some and taking the rest to go. Super filling. Bags come with some potatoes and corn by default.

Really good seafood boil and the Cajun sauce, world famous sauce, and garlic sauce was delicious. We got snow crab legs, crawfish, and shrimp. The bag also included corn, potato, and sausage for a cost. Good stuff, I’d come back again!

The food is amazing and the customer service is awesome. You don’t always see that at Carryouts but the lady at the counter is always super nice and makes sure you get your free soda or egg rolls. They have a special going on right now when you spend a certain amount you get a free treat. I’ve been 5 times so far and the food is always the same quality, freaking amazing. Please check them out you won’t regret it.

I love crab world and never had an issue until I ordered today the dungeness crab. The top of the crab was fresh but the crab inside the shells where dry and brown in color. It did not taste fresh at all.

Wish they had more seating but carry out is just fine! Will share pictures soon. We got fried rice, dumplings, lo mein, and lemonade. Their juice is homemade and sweet!! We loved the fried rice and cannot wait to try the seafood options.

Being bold (and risky), I ordered both snow crabs and shrimp in its world special sauce. And it proved to be the right choice. This special sauce is kinda a mixture of canjun and butter - a perfect combination. Shrimps are jumbo and fresh. I appreciate the chef who took the time and clean all shrimps before cooking. The cut on the shrimp back also made it easy to peel off the shrimp skin. Took one star off b/c the snow crab doesn't taste fresh. It's ok but did taste like it's been frozen for long. Delivery was also fast (uber eats). Would definitely order again.

The guy who welcomes you is very kind and works with you for what you want. There isn't much place to eat but there usually aren't a whole lot of people there, so service is fast. The food was very good and flavorful. The butter and seasoning come in the bag, so it all is pretty convenient. They provide gloves and a bib. It's very calm in there.

I love this place ! Can't even count on two hands how many times I've order here and each time the quality has been amazing. In addition to that , the prices are very reasonable. They are always very sweet and have my order finished very quickly!

My neighbor recommended this place to me and I figured I'd give them a shot. I was surprised when I arrived as I thought this was an actual restaurant but in fact it's prettt much a seafood carry out. With that in mind I wanted to get a variety of food. We ordered the following: Dungeness Crab Leg Boil Shrimp and Sausage Boil Fried Whiting Friend Shrimp Steak & Cheese Half and Half First off the Half and Half is DELICIOUS!!! A must get. Now onto the food. The Fried shrimp were warm and tasty. The Fried Whiting tasted like chicken. They probably use the same grease because I originally thought I was eating chicken and they forgot my fish. The Dungeness Crab Leg boil is a waste of money. These are regular crab legs. They are also old and hard. Not what I'm accustomed to. The Shrimp and Sausage Boil was a lot of food. Took my wife 2 days to eat it all. The steak and cheese didn't taste that well to me. Overall the food was decent. I doubt I return but good luck to anyone that does.

Service is good. They seem pretty nice in there. They seem to always be not crowded when I go. Food is average. Ambiance there is no where to sit. Get your food and go.

First time ordering from here, and we were so very happy!!! The food is amazing and the BOGO deals are on point!! Definitely will be ordering from them again!

Ordered the 1lb shrimp with no head in the hot world sauce. It came with a corn and 2 potatoes. The sauce was pretty good, hot was spicy but not overwhelmingly. It went well with the potatoes. The shrimp didn't soak in as much of the flavor and the corn was not great.

I am so happy this place is in the neighborhood. Decided to give the delivery a try and I was not disappointed. Be sure to order the world sauce, which is a delicious combo of all the sauces on their menu, old bay, Cajun, lemon pepper and garlic butter. The seafood was fresh and perfectly broiled. The vegetables were also cooked well and a great compliment to the seafood. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other menu items asap.

I ordered a pound of shrimp no head and a pound of snow crab. To be frankly honest, it was definitely not worth the price. The snow crabs were the tiniest i have ever recieved in a seafood boil which is pretty sad considering its about 40 something dollars when ordering delivery. Im somewhat convinced the review written here are fake because i ordered based off them and was disappointed. This is my first time ever writing a review so thats saying something. Overall taste is nothing to write home about either, its just alright.

I have been to this place more than once and the food is extremely excellent to me.The food is always hot and the service is great.I have had the lemon pepper chicken the first time I went.They was freshly cooked and nicely seasoned.I have also had the lunch special seafood boil which is definitely delicious.Sweet potato and the cajun fries are very delicious.I definitely would recommend anyone that loves great seafood and food to go here.They also have everyday specials.The food is definitely delicious and addicting .And the service is always with a smile So glad for this new Seafood Restaurant.

- I ordered Crawfish, Shrimp with the head, and mussels. I am very spontaneous when trying new establishments, I had very high hopes of this location because it's new in the neighborhood and because of the competition near by. So my favorite item was the crawfish. They were cooked perfectly. You also have the option of seasonings and spice level. My shrimp was over cooked and very hard to peel. My crawfish were good as well. I really didn't like the flavor of their "world special". I'm assuming that's their sauce. I'll just stick to lemon butter sauce. The Cajun hot is not really hot. Portion wise on my seafood was small to me. For this being a new neighborhood spot, I'll probably try something else from them.

What a delightful addition to the neighborhood! I LOVE seafood boils and will trek out to the suburbs for a good one now and then - but I'm thrilled to have one just around the corner now. I ordered online and the food was ready in the time it took us to drive over (the online interface didn't tell us when the order would be ready, which was a bit confusing - but just assume it has been received and will be ready very soon). We got a clam, mussel, and shrimp boil and a catfish po'boy - everything was delicious and perfectly cooked and the sauces were excellent. For DC-area seafood the prices are really reasonable and a good value for what you get. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Excellent Excellent!!! This place has great seafood options for a seafood boil and other options. I have tried the crab legs, shrimp with head on and mussels. Please make sure you get the boiled egg corn and potatoes. They have never disappointed and the young lady who runs the cash register is helpful with explaining and showing pictures. If you live in the Brightwood/16th street height neighbor, please check them out!

Eating from trade places is rarely something I do for more than convenience....But, these folks have me coming back for their good food....They are a hidden treasure....And, if they last long enough, they will definitely become a DC tradition.....Not the cheapest.....but, Worth every penny....
