Crabby Steve’s is the best place to have lunch - and beach drinks - on 30A. Perfect beach food. The best experience is to get a seat at the bar (worth the wait) and have lunch with Rhonda the bartender. The rest of the bar and service staff are outstanding too. Get the Cinqo Wrap, cheese burger, Mahi Sandwich, or Red Royal Shrimp Ceviche. Excellent drinks. Hint: when Rhonda asks you if you want “floater” on your Miami Vice, you say “yes!”

Great spot for a drink and some food. Not many places on the beach around here. Staff is friendly and easy to get to. Got the pina colada bucket and a grilled shrimp wrap to make a good lunch. Update: came back 8.14.25 and it’s still great. Diego was running the bar. FYI they don’t take Apple Pay as of 8.14.25

Just grabbed lunch here today. I do NOT recommend. Waited 30+ mins in the sun for the most basic of one order chicken sandwich and fries. They need a better system here or more restaurant options or something (anything would be better). My drink was served to me first and hot by time I got back to the beach so that was a waste of money. Go for the view later in the evening when it's a bit quieter. Spare yourself the midday frustration when you're trying to have a good time

Food was amazing, very much needed for a hot beach day. Service was above and beyond. I wish I could remember our waiters name, he was Latino and had glasses. He was super attentive, charismatic, and a great guy. We got the grilled shrimp and Guinness burger. Price point was fair. Only critic I have is that I didn't really like the sweet tea, I think it was Pure Leaf tea but that's just my personal taste.

The blueberry pina colada and the mahi sandwich with the spicy slaw - thank me later! Great right off the beach snack or to even get it to go to eat on the beach. Would definitely be back. It gives off tiki bar vibes but has food as well. We also had the chips and salsa which was ehh but the burger was good too. The crinkle fries as well! Service was great and quick.

About a mile walk from Inlet public beach access on the beach and well worth it. Contrary to many reviews we read, the hostess, bartenders, and server were extremely warm and hospitable. Food was outstanding though limited (we got the fish sandwich). Bonus we got to meet Jay Cutler while there. Strongly recommend this place!

Heads up. You can only get here from beach access. It's an absolute pain to get to from the street. We biked .5 miles more than needed and then were turned away still from another way to get to the restaurant and were told if we kept walking we could get there after another .5 walk- with two young children. Wish we could have tried this place but accessibility is a nightmare

Great beach Pub! I think the public can only get to it from the beach since it is in a gated community. Had some drinks and sandwiches siting at bar. Everything was great. Views are amazing and atmosphere is very laid back. Bartender was great and very friendly and attentive. All ages from kids to people older than me!

I have no idea what is wrong with people that they'd give this place anything less than 4 or 5 stars? We thought the service was great and so was the food. We got an appetizer and drinks. I ordered a piña colada and the server recommended their special- a blueberry piña colada with an extra rum floater, it did not disappoint. We got chips and guacamole to snack on. It all came out quick and tasted so good! I love that it's only accessible by beach- it makes it feel more exclusive and really gives you the authentic beach bar experience. There were several locals there when we arrived (always a good sign). We are staying in Rosemary Beach and we thought the prices at CS's were very reasonable and refeshing. LOVED that you have amazing beach views and that it's all outdoor. Kick back, enjoy the views, the food, and the drinks. 11/10. Will definitely be coming back.

Been coming here for over a decade!! We love the chips & guac. The freshest seafood around!!! Love the lobster on the lobster roll! The "roll" is actually just a hotdog bun... the fresh, tender lobster makes up for the hotdog bun! Burgers are great!! Pasta and potato salad are amazing. All the wraps...

Our server was amazing and attentive. We settled on a cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. Albeit, I didn't snap a pic of the food, I did snap pics of the beach! Wonderful views.

True Rating- 3.3/5 Stars Solid for a beach bar. The food was pretty good. Service was great and pretty quick. There is not much seating, and nothing indoors, but again - beach bar. I had the blackened grouper sandwich, and it was great. So were the sweet potato fries. Others in my party had the Jerk chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders. As far as I heard, only the chicken tenders weren't good. Their cocktail also had way too much salt. Facilities were typical beach bar. Not too much to write home about. I do not know if there were any bathrooms. Biggest knock against the place is it is only accessible via the beach. Cost was a bit pricey for my blood - but that's okay. It was good so no complaints. NOTE: Star rating based on my own formula consisting of flavor, cost, facilities, service, and overall satisfaction. Reviews are subject to change based on future visits.

What an incredible location and fun spot to dine while enjoying the beach. Love that our only access is directly while on the beach. I had their sides which were delicious potato salad, creamy coleslaw and tasty pasta salad. It hit the spot and I definitely recommend it. Service while sitting at the bar was great. Also, enjoyed a small bucket of frozen mixed berries margaritas. Will be back.

Crabby Steve's has a Gulf view with the freshest seafood on 30A! A short beautiful waters edge walk from Rosemary beach and who should have to talk you into a beach walk to get to great food, frozen cocktails, fresh daily fish choices and a fun staff! This is the place to get to for fun&food at the beach! Look for those beautiful aqua umbrella up top! Enjoy! Love it every time me & my friends go & we are locals! Rhonda makes everyone's vacation that much better with her happy self & frozen drinks!

Amazing views, the food is top notch and fresh. The servers are welcoming, attentive, and friendly! Crabby Steve's is one of the best beach bars, very casual and so much fun! Only accessible by the beach, what a hidden gem. If you see the lobster roll on the special board snag it up its to die for, and the salmon is unreal!!! 10/10 crabby steve and his crew are stellar

This has been a go to for my family multiple summers now! When we vacation to 30A we make sure to have Crabby Steve's for at least 2-3 lunches. Drinks are delicious! Crab Cake sandwich is next level! Everyone is extremely friendly! Food came out super quick. Great gulf and beach view. Just a FYI I believe there are specific ways to enter the restaurant. From what I understand you can access via the beach or you have to be staying at the highpoint resort. We have always accessed via beach entry.

Fun beach bar and restaurant. Reminded me of "old " Florida! Great drinks! The crab cakes were delicious too.

The staff was extremely rude and yelled at us when we asked for a table. They said it would be a two hour wait wrote down our name and said to go to the beach where we would not be able to know if our table was ready or not and yelled at us for standing on the boardwalk. Also you had to be let into the restaurant. It sucked because the view was beautiful. Overall they were rude and will not be getting our business.

Impossible to find and to walk to unless you are in one of the private residences of the area. Wish it had bet te r directions.

My friend and I got served virgin pina coladas the other day. Bartender either knew what she was doing or mixed the pitchers up with the kids that were ordering the same thing at same time.

Wasted over an hour trying to find this place. And walked over a mile trying to access it. Only to find out that you have to be a guest to access the restaurant. Should probably be better advertised that it's inaccessible, right?

Okay, okay. Five stars for a walk up beach restaurant? Absolutely!!!! CS has the best views (stunning,) the best crab cake sandwiches (fresh and grilled,) and the most iconic owner (Steve of course!) of anyplace on the beach! Located directly on the beach, CS offers an interesting menu of carefully prepared items every day. From their kimchi Reuben to their blackened salmon and avocado wraps, every item is delicious. There is a full bar and drinks can be carried down to the beach below. But this deliciousness doesn't come easy. If you aren't staying at the condo complex where CS is located you'll have to walk up some serious stairs to get there. Consider it the way to work off some of those delicious calories you are about to consume. Steve is meticulous and is constantly working to make sure diners are greeted, tables are bussed, and that every diner is pleased with their food. Who doesn't love great food with stunning views just feet from their umbrella and chair set up? This place is a real gem.

Overall I felt the food was good, I was hesitant after reading the reviews but this place was within walking distance of where we were staying. If you aren't staying on the property/hotel, the only way to access the restaurant is by the beach entrance. Prices were inline with the area. Service was quick. I read several reviews about poor service, but personally didn't experience any issues myself- I did notice the owner was pacing around and could see how people could interpret that. Jerk chicken was very juicy and I was very surprised. Drinks were fair, not too water downed. I would return if in the area.

We came to this bar to beat the rain at the beach and the entire staff was extremely rude and not accommodating. Blonde Bar tender w short hair yelled at us for standing under the bar to get dry while we were just trying to eat the food we had just paid for. It wasn't crowded whatsoever and we were basically told to sit in the rain or leave. We spent over $100 here and were treated poorly. Will not be back here due to the service.

If you are planning on coming here, it's vital to know that the only way to enter publicly is by walking through the beach. Otherwise, you can only enter through the hotel if you are staying there. The food is very good. I had the crab cakes and pasta salad. The pasta salad had a balsamic dressing which I thought was strange at first but it tasted alright. Their practices are behind on the times but it gives the restaurant charm. I think we met crabby Steve as the name accurately describes him haha. But our waitress was a doll. They are now on an electronic payment system but when you look at the bill there isn't an itemized receipt. Each dish is named with generic number or letters making it a little tricky to make sure everything was charged correctly.

Great little spot between Seacrest and Rosemary Beach. Only accessible from the beach unless staying in the private community behind it. Food is pretty standard fare, nothing special, but adequate. Servers were friendly. The view is the real winner here.

Very disappointed in the manner to get to the restaurant and exit. Very inconvenient and unaccommodating towards easing the burden for those with disabilities.

Great little food shack. Wish they had more seafood options on the menu but what we did order was very good. Blackened grouper sandwich was delicious. Security could lighten up a tad. Our waitress was excellent

If I could give no stars, I would. Terrible service. More then 30 minutes for a drink, for the waitress to come back and say, I'm sorry we don't have what you ordered. Would you like something else? No. I want my check, I don't want to be here for another hour. My Husbands drink was supposed to be frozen, brought it on the rocks. Save your time and money. Not good.

I really like this place! The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the lack of interesting flavors. They have great quality fish, but they don't do anything special with it. They let the ingredients speak for themselves. So I give 4 stars, but I just need some wow to get to 5. Oh and Steve is awesome!

We had an incredible experience at Crabby Steve's. Ocean View is great! It was a very welcoming atmosphere, Rhonda and Virginia were so fun and accommodating. The beach can be a party atmosphere, but Crabby Steve's felt like home. The crab artichoke dip was divine and cocktails were spectacular. Thank you Crabby Steve's for providing a fun family friendly atmosphere for all of us to enjoy!

Food has gotten worse over the years and the service ... holy sh*t is the service bad. Tried to simply buy a shirt today and they told me I had to wait in the line to be seated just to buy a shirt? We left and the lady up front gave us a snarky comment as we walked away. Unbelievable. This was the second time this week we were treated this way - will never return to this sh*thole. Go to cowgirl kitchen instead!!

Recommended by folks next to us on beach. we were staying in Rosemary Beach so was an easy 10 minute walk from beach access to Steve's access. Rental place at base of stairs had semi-hidden sign pointing up. They must get a lot of questions. We were early but staff politely had us wait for a bit till they were ready. Then we were seated. Basic bar burgers, but with a glorious view and a pleasant staff. Managed group of 8 people and we all enjoyed our visit.

Great hidden gem in Rosemary, we walked on the beach a bit to get to it. Food, service, atmosphere, and drinks were all top notch!

Our waitress was so nice! We loved walking right off the beach into Crabby Steve's. Service was great and food was incredible. Just what we needed. Was the perfect lunch at the beach!

Unexpectedly good service, food and drinks. But mostly service! They make you feel like they are glad you came which isn't the vibe at a lot of casual spots these days. Particularly Rhonda who waited on us two days in a row. You can tell she loves her job and makes your day at the beach that much better.

Absolutely awful service. The rain and wind made anything other than the bar area uninhabitable yet we were kicked out after ordering well over $200 worth of food and alcohol due to space at the bar -- no one walked up to the bar the entire time there The big blonde bartender was especially rude and made us pay our tab as the food finally came out - including the "water moccasin" shot that would "warm us up" -- $60 later. Given the opportunity I would eat at McDonald's before dealing with the staff again.

I've heard of the elusive Crabby Steve's and how hard it is to find it and get access, as it's only accessible by road is you're staying in the immediate neighborhood. If you have beach access you can walk right up the steps from the beach. If you don't have beach access you'd have to hop a fence to get in, which really isn't worth it. The appeal is that there aren't any other restaurants/bars on the beach. But if you aren't already on the beach there are plenty of other (and maybe better) places you can get to really easily. The food was good. I had an off menu lobster roll. It was good, not life changing. My husband had wings, which were actually really good. We also had a grouper avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries, both as expected. As far as people saying the staff and owner are rude.... not sure why. We went twice and both times everyone was nice as can be! If you're in the beach in Seacrest or Rosemary, Come on up! If not, don't hurt yourself hopping a fence to get here.

We walked over from our spot on the beach and ordered some burgers and chicken strips. Burgers were great! Chicken strips were good (just not my preferred batter type, but that's just personal preference). Quick service to-go! Very kind staff! Good beer selection!

My friend and I always visit Crabby Steve's. Food is always first rate and tonight was no exception. Service was perfect, and view/atmosphere can't be beat.

I hate to give them 1 star because there are great people that work here. But Cindy the hostess completely ruined our experience. Cindy, the service industry isn't for you. She gave us a hard time for adding people onto our party, yelled at us, and then didn't let any server know we were sat so we waited 15 minutes to be served. Completely ruined our lunch! I don't recommend coming here.

This is an interesting place. The only way you can get there is from the beach. We hiked over from Seacrest Beach. The food and service were fine. We had a cheeseburger, grilled shrimp, and the California chicken sandwich. The restaurant is not that big, and it's the only place on this part of the beach. So, I'd suggest you come early to avoid a wait. The nice thing is that you can grab lunch here and go back to the beach. I would probably come back.

Can't say enough about the staff and great service! We came hungry and Steve did not disappoint. The menu was awesome. I had the mahi-mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries. My wife had the burger and fries and our 85 year mom had the crab cake sandwich. She loved it. Thanks Steve we are coming back for dinner!!! Came back for dinner the next day and had the cheese burger with top shelf margarita. Perfect combo...I highly recommend the artichoke and crab dip also. Looks like mum and my wife did a repeat - crab cake sandwich and burger. Best week at the beach yet!

Location, location , great service, food, drinks, view, ambience, character and a Hidden gem! This place is tucked in a condo complex called high pointe! Getting here is tough! There is beach access or access through the condo complex for guests only. The restaurant is open to anyone! I recommend public parking near rosemary beach and getting to the public beach access then walking a while to get to this place! I loved it here ! I had a blackened fresh fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I had snapper. Good size fish portion with great seasoning! I loved it here! I would come here daily if I could!

So much fun! Lunch on the beach with super friendly and quick service. Food was delicious, quality and fresh. Be nice, crabby Steve might offend you but just roll with it. Definitely ask for Jarred to server
