Crack Shack BBQ was co-located with Jake’s Produce on Brooms Island today (7/26/2025). Lots of people in line for the Crack Shack! We ordered a chicken and a pork sandwich, baked beans, Mac n’cheese, smoked wings, and jalapeño poppers. Decently priced menu with good portion size of meat. They also offered a beef sandwich. I preferred the pork sandwich. Sauce was good. Side’s game needs work - basic yet creamy Mac n’cheese and baked beans. Wings were great as the SPG (salt, pepper, garlic).

Have only tried this food once and it was amazing! The truck was parked outside of Patuxent high school for a recent trunk or treat event. I was there for my daughter’s volleyball game and decided to try the pulled chicken sandwich. BEST BBQ PULLED CHICKEN SANDWICH I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The gentleman and the lady working in the truck were great as well. Super friendly and answered all of my questions. Will absolutely return it I’m in the vacuity of their normal location.

I would actually have rated this place at more of a 3.5. The brisket was ok. They give you a decent amount in the sandwich. A little on the dry side and not very flavorful. The BBQ sauce was very good though and helped the sandwich out. The Mac n cheese was good. More of a 4 star. The Cole slaw was definitely a 3. Edible but tastes store bought. I’d have to give them another try at some point and order other items to try.

Brisket was a 5 out of 5 don’t listen to that other guy lmao who just reviewed, this is coming from another small business owner, it is very well smoked and it taste great! The smoke Mac and cheese is always a go too and is great to get, the proportions are amazing and well worth their price! BBQ sauce is another great thing it adds to the smokiness of the brisket. Highly recommend this place!

Great food and people! Love the sliced beef and the chopped brisket. Grammies Rice always hits the spot! Check them out if you haven't already. They don't disappoint!

I haven’t had one thing on the menu, that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Wife and kids included, every body loves when I bring home Crack Shack for dinner.
