"For the first time in its 51-year history, Cracker Barrel is finally adding alcohol to its menu, CNN reports. The restaurant chain began testing the addition of beer, wine, and mimosas at select locations earlier this year, and recently announced that those menu changes would be permanent and would expand to most of its locations by the end of 2020." - Jenny G. Okay lets get into this review. I confess! I dont just go to Cracker Barrel to eat. I stopped in to purchase a gift for my coworker, a new dress for me, some gardening items, old fashion candy and a cute dress for my great niece. There you have it! No food today...lol I highly recommend that you look around while waiting. They have clearance items and great selections on clothing. All of which is reasonably priced. Don't take my word for it, just check them out!

Gave this place multiple chances before writing this review, the last couple of times had terrible service/experience. The 1st time went on a Sunday night at 8pm, they didn’t have a lot of things on the menu, no biscuits made (like this takes a lot of effort), we ordered a mimosa pitcher and they brought us 4 glasses because there were no pitchers clean. The waitress brought us the check, didn’t even ask if we wanted something else (which I was gonna order dessert) but because the bad experience I just decided not to bother. All tables around dirty and nobody cleaning them. The 2nd time, went for lunch on a Tuesday, we sat down and waitress took around 15-20min to come, nobody came to acknowledge us or even ask for drinks (we almost left). The restaurant was not busy at all. When we got our food, chicken was soggy and french toast burned. Waitress forgot about bringing the biscuits until we asked. The place had a bunch of tables dirty and nobody cleaning them. The waitress offered to re-make the french toast, but I did not have time to sit and wait any longer as it was lunch time. They took the meal off the bill, but that did not make me happy. I am not going to a restaurant for free food, I am going to get good food and good quality service. Seems like an extremely poorly managed restaurant which is very sad as I loved Cracker Barrel. I don't think it is the waitress fault, is that they are over worked and these restaurants do not have enough staff and quality of service is down. Because of these experiences, I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon. Not worth my time or money to keep getting a bad experience. I rather eat at home.

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! I ordered a family pancake breakfast on FRIDAY for pickup at 12:30 today. I waited in the store for 5 min shy of 2 HOURS! There were online orders waiting everywhere. The staff offered zero information on order status and the managers were looking like deer caught in headlights. A disaster! The real mistake was ordering from this location again after THE EXACT SAME scene on Easter Sunday. They should cap orders if they can't manage. In store dining had a 1.5 hr wait time for food. This location fails every time. Last time for me. And they threw food in boxes to get me out - it WAS NOT a family meal and DID NOT feed 4 people! I ordered on Friday because I needed the hashbrowns without onions due to a food allergy - they had no clue about that part of the order and basicly said "good luck Chuck!"

It had never happened to me before. I ordered the grandmomma pancake portion and when they brought it to me, I don't know if it was an insult, but I felt so bad that even the taste and hunger I had disappeared. They brought me a burnt pancake. I told the girl who brought it to me and she told me that's how they're coming out today. I think I'm going to change stores. I was disappointed today.

NEVER AGAIN!!! So, here we go again. I sit down to order and there I sat. Not one person came over to offer me a glass of water. I sat next to a large family gathering and NOT ONE TIME did the young lady even look over to see that I was in her section. She conversationally engaged the large crown regarding what they were celebrating, but did not see me (somehow) in my loud Purple shirt waiting for some service. This is my last time coming to this Cracker Barrel. 2 xs is more than enough for me. Good Riddens!!!

I love CB but this one not sure what was going on but it smelled bad. This is one that has been updated with its white paints and new pictures. I have to say we do CB because it's uniform guaranteed. But not this one we sat by the window there were flies ok swat away they sneak in. The base boards were filthy 😳 if I saw that before I ordered I probably would have left. Again food wonderful cleanliness very disappointed 😞 Our waitress was superb.

Waitress served our appetizers to the next table who were seated after us, took over 50 mins to get our food, she had to make several trips to the table to get the complete order, each trip taking longer than it should have, then had to bring tableware so we could eat, . The dinning room was empty but for 2 or 3 other tables, when we were seated. It should not have taken 1.5 hours for us to eat. Very disappointed with the prices, and we'll as service!

The restaurant one was renovated made for a very pleasant experience. The waitress was pretty good just missed a couple things. The only complaint is the water there tastes awful even as a cup of tea so they really need to put some type of filtration. Overall, I enjoy going there and love their gift shop. Just wish some things weren’t so expensive.
