Craft Burger

At this burger place, they serve a wagyu burger, but in order to make a comparison to NADC, The Leavitt Street, Little Bad Wolf and others (including RHR); I stayed with their standard double cheeseburger. I may return to try the wagyu but maybe thats more suitable (especially with the pricing) at a sit-down high-end caliber resto like STK, Maxwells Trading or similar venues. This is a window service resto, no seating, eat in your car, just fyi. Each order comes with seasoned fresh cut fries which was nicely crispy and pillowy interior. But their double griddle cheeseburger is excellent. The meat to bun ratio is perfect for my order. Also tried their Maxwell Street polish with grilled onions and mustard. Great snap on that polish and tastes fatty and peppery on that poppyseed bun. Definitely revist this place to try their wagyu burger.

Ohmyworddd, if this is wrong, I don’t want to be right 🤤 This was my first time here at Craft Burger. I love the coffee shop next door, Cup of Joe, but have always just enjoyed the grill smells of this burger joint next door. Today I have witnessed the taste and have been won over- it was so so delicious!! I got the double patty and it was full of flavor. The fries are perfectly seasoned. Lorena and Bri worked the register and they were friendly and helpful - beautiful smiles to match a great business. Highly recommend this burger joint!

1/16/26 @ 9:15 p. I was denied ordering. I was waiting outside to place a walk up order. After a few minutes there were 5 people waiting behind me to order. When the young gentleman came to slide the glass door to ask me what I needed. I said I wanted to place an order for 3 burgers + 3 fries. The worked bluntly stated “ can you place your order online, cause I’m too busy right to take your order. “. I said nicely. “No I cannot. I am here now. “ I walked away quietly in disgust. I will never spend another $ here. Shame on you Craft Burger. The neighborhood needs you. I frequently did enjoy the burger, the fries, and seeing the owner on the bench occasionally chatting.

I ordered a burger via GrubHub. The first thing I noticed was that fries were included, we’re off to a great start lol. I ordered a double hamburger , no cheese due to dietary allergies. On the app they had a place for special requests and I laid out all my dietary allergies and they obliged all of them! I am extremely thankful for that! The burger was good, it was not as greasy as i would have liked so next time I think I will eat at the restaurant so I can get all that juice and grease. I also think it would taste better if I had cheese but I can’t have that 😔. The fries were good but cold by the time I received them, so again I’m sure they will taste even better when hot. Overall, it was a big burger and lots of fries. I am thankful to them for obliging all my requests, it goes a long a way. That is what customer service looks like and this customer is so appreciative and I can’t put into words how much it meant to me. Thank you again!!!

I don't eat burgers often so when I do they need to be great! The burger is awesome and the fries are excellent! I had been wanting some high quality fries and these did not disappoint.

Nothing hits the spot better than Craft Burger’s El Tejano Wagyu Cheeseburger. They use high quality beef and ingredients so you don’t feel that sluggish burger hangover afterwards 😜 It also comes with fries and a drink so I consider this my weekend “treat myself” meal 🤩 Make sure you stop by if you’re shopping on 18th or before a show at Thalia Hall! (they’re not open super late and close at 10pm on weekend nights, 8pm on weeknights, closed Tuesday)

It's a nice burger. If you are into smash burgers, this is the place. The staff is very friendly. I've tried regular cheese burgers & wagyu burgers, and Lamp Chop. Some menus come with different condiments. It's not frozen meat. You will have a pleasant experience. There are only three tables so be prepared to wait standing during busy hour.

Stopped in at Craft Burger for dinner and wow—this spot is legit. Got the spicy craft burger with fries and a shake, and everything hit just right. Burger was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and you can tell they don’t skimp on quality. Fries stayed crispy even after I sat a bit. Service was super chill too, no attitude, just good vibes. Honestly feels like one of those hidden gems in the neighborhood.

DELICIOUS burgers! About $43 for three with a bag of fries for each. Not bad considering surrounding rates!!! Dog friendly too oh and they have an ATM in the side!!!

When I heard there was a smash burger in Pilsen ! I was so excited!!! So I obviously had to check it out. It was a cute set up, they have a few tables to eat at and the service is quick. The staff was so NICE! Now to the burger, the patty was flavored well! It was cooked to Perfection. I will say they go heavy on the onions (not preferred) I should have went light. The special sauce was a great addictive. The fries! This is why I'm giving this review a 3. The fries, were soggy, and had zero flavor. I think they should just withhold the fries if they plan on keeping the fries that quality. The fries would have been better if they were crispier and thinner. Overall, I would go back, less onion and no fries, the service alone will have my business.

Craft Burger came highly recommended, so I was excited to try their burger. The experience was mixed--the burger had great seasoning. Now the fries could have been better. The fries were black, not sure if it was from the old oil.. Anyway, the burger was great. Will give it a chance again...

Extremely friendly order taker, excellent burgers. We got double cheese burgers and they're smash burger style AND come with fries for $12. Great sauce and toppings come on them and the meat is 4oz each so it was a substantial burger. I cut 1 star because the fries were good not great. They may have even been fresh cut from potatoes which is great but they were floppy, some thin some thick. The highlight was definitely the burger. Also know there's no seating so either eat it in your car, bring it home or if it's a nice day there's a park nearby.

Great option for a burger in Pilsen. Patty is flavorful and pairs nicely with the onions, sauce and cheese. Fries came with the burger, which is a nice surprise. They were dark like another reviewer mentioned and could've been crispier, but otherwise tasted fine. Maybe next time I'll see if they can make the fries well done. Burgers are made to order and service was fast. Will definitely be back.

Got the single craft smashburger and really enjoyed it! Awesome walk up spot in the area. Staff was super cool and friendly. I'd say one of the better burgers in the area

good quality and a fair price point. I think the sauce is great for those who love Dijon mustard for sure.

Food was prepared fresh and the fries were hand cut-yummy! The staff was accommodating and communicative about the status of my order. I will be back as I love the simple walk-up window concept with an elevated vibe.

the service is really good here they are so nice and easy to talk to. i liked the hotdog it came with fries and all the classic topping but it didn't have that snap to it when you bite down. the burger is not for u high cholesterol hoes. it's flavorful, buttery, and juicy, but it's a lot. the first bite i took i was hit with this intense butteriness and saltiness. It's seasoned very well almost a little toooo much but i was able to eat the whole thing and fall into a food coma. i think the fries are alright i appreciated that they weren't too salty because the hotdog and burger had so much seasoning so it balanced out, but if u eat the fries by itself they're pretty plain. HOWEVER they are rly crispy and long and i appreciate skin on fries

Service: okay Atmosphere: It's a walk-up Shoestring French fries: Great! Burgers: These were the skimpiest smash burgers I have ever seen in my life. The meat was so thin and overly cooked that it resembled a meat and char flavored potato chip more so than a meaty burger. I'd say the bun to burger ratio is 10 to 1. I was so confused by this. They give you these massive buns that totally eclipse the burger, but it helps since the meat was grilled and pressed into a desiccated meat coaster. Normally I wouldn't be so bothered, but the price warrants the frustration. Find a better burger place.

Solid burger. The fries were trash. Literally, couldn't have more than a few before giving up lol. Other reviews about the bizarre dark brown color, sogginess, and lack of seasoning are accurate imo. I wanted my usual Burger Alley but they were closed so I gave this place a try. Meh. Didn't quite hit the spot for me, but the burger was decent. Some of the owner's responses to their reviews read a little defensive. Better to try to make improvements with the feedback. We can't all be mistaken about the fries lol.

Fast and friendly service, great prices, delicious cheeseburgers. They only reason I didn't give a 5 stars is they fry the fries too hard - too crispy, almost burnt.

Kinda said that Mikee's aint around anymore but the food at this spot more than makes up for it. Hope to keep seeing this business flourish in the future!

Was parked in front and noticed this new burger joint and decided to try . I have to tell you this is a delicious executed butger. I ordered the craft double . It was a double smash burger with crispy edges with grilled onion on brioche bun with fresh cut fries . I did not eat it but inhaled it . Awesome awesome place . It's new . Much success guys !

I loved the food the fries were delicious and the burger I definitely will be visiting again didn't try the Mac and cheese yet next time I will friendly staff as well.

If you're in or around Pilsen, this is the best burger! Staff are super nice and if you like fresh cut fries, you'll love it. I'll be back to try everything else!
