I've lived in Plano for 3 years and was so happy to finally find an Eastern European food store. However, my greatest disappointment came yesterday while shopping for the New Years holiday. I was hopeful to show off to my American TX friends how wonderful the prepared foods are. My most favorite go-to staples are the salads - Olivier (Russian-style potato salad) and vinaigrette (Russian salad made from beats and other veggies). Prior to serving these items I tasted them when I brought them home. I had to buy 2 containersc pf each salad, and upon tasting them they turned out to be spoiled, sour, smelled horrible at opening, and there was no date labeled when the salads were prepared. These were like at least $15 per container, if not more, which is extremely overpriced to begin with, but the fact that it was spoiled was extremely disappointing, throwing out $60+ into the garbage. I had to quickly order Italian food to compensate for the lack of Russian food I promised my friends. We spent over $200 yesterday and the food that was not spoiled was packaged food labeled with dates. There were also hot samsa and ponchiki that we purchased. Those tasted decent, however, they were packed in a paper bag and then a plastic bag. The man at the counter had to open them to see what they were. How about labeling your products once they've been packed, instead of opening the bags of hot food and checking what's there. I did tell him what the items were and how many of each, but I guess he did not believe me. In any case, by the time I brought them home the clear plastic bag in which the paper bags were housed were so soggy, that the paper bags stuck to the food and the rest of the paper bag ripped. Thankfully I was able to get the pieces of paper bag off of the samsa and ponchiki but the whole experience was disappointing for the amount of money and time spent. The store's local food prep is complete amateur hour, overpriced, time-consuming amateur hour! I am originally from NY and used to shop in Russian food stores on Brighton Beach and Net Cost Market. These stores had a high turnover rate due to the food demand, but I have NEVER in my 40 years of adulthood purchased spoiled food from any of these stores, where the stores and the selection are much bigger. With a large Eastern European population in North TX, I am surprised that we have few stores that cater Eastern European food, and the one that makes prepared food SUCKS! Craft Food, with the prices you charge, DO BETTER!

Great grocery store with a real customer-focused feel. Everything is clean and well stocked, and the staff is always friendly. I also love that they carry some products from my home country, Ukraine — a nice touch that keeps me coming back.

Google
Nice little store with a good selection of Russian and Eastern European products. The staff was friendly and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Everything looked fresh and well organized, and the prices were fair. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for authentic ingredients or want to try something new.

Google
A good shop with products from European countries. I really like the sweets and fish there. I often buy sausages there. Tasty shashlik and beer. Ask the sellers to offer the goods better.

Google
Not a good experience. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked an older gentleman who was stocking the shelves about their buckwheat, and he said to me in English, "I don't speak Russian, I speak Ukrainian." And then he walked away from me. Very strange behavior since I asked my question in ENGLISH. The blonde woman at the register didn't greet me, say hello, or anything. She just rang up my items and sent me on my way. As far as their food, it is a small selection and a small store, but what I bought is really good. However, from what I experienced with the staff, I don't think I'll be back.

Yelp
So, I totally walked in here unknowing what kind of place it was, but I was so pleasantly surprised! I headed to the deli to buy a fresh pork shawarma, tabuleh salad, and sirniki. It was my first experience with Russian food and it was amazing! The portion for a regular sized shawarma was VERY filling and SO delicious! The pork shawarma sandwich was filled generously with meat, veggies, and sauce complimented with a nice toasty finish on the outside. I can't wait to go back more to try new things. The employees there are all very enthusiastic and helpful to explain things to you if you are unfamiliar with their food/products. It's a nice, newly opened, clean place that I highly recommend to come try out new things!

Yelp
Couple times bought groceries and twice nuts were expired with bitter old taste. Did not want to drive back 30 minutes do just tossed it. Syrniki and plov were good. Unfortunately they don't have very good ac inside and sun protection so that is why produce get spoiled fast.
