This was my fourth time at Craft House the past 1.5 years for a group social event. It is what it is- a midpriced alternative to overpriced Murphy Street joints 2 blocks away. Nothing fancy, but the food is good and the staff super friendly.
As the name indicates, they offer craft beers, a few domestics in bottles, and a full spirits bar. While there are 24-30 taps on the wall, they usually have 12-15 beers on tap. Always a good selection of craft styles, from IPAs, lagers, hazy's, sours, etc. Most usually from the greater Bay Area & NorCal.
I've had several different items off the menu, and all were above average Pub Grub food. Big burgers, tasty chicken tenders, the "hot" chicken sandwich, and even one of the large salads. Food is always cooked perfectly, not rushed out and undercooked, and always hot. The french fries are crisp and what I consider perfectly fried to a golden brown. My date had the 3-sliders item this weekend and they were "well seasoned and really good" she said.
This past weekend Heather (white, tall, 30ish) was the early bartender and did a great job. Veronica (40ish, cute short asian) came on later and surprisingly recalled my name. She is amazing! Two others assisted Veronica and were very nice too.
There is a nice pool table, several large HDTVs, and a sound system. Music is a bit too loud when trying to have a conversation.
