"Craft Kitchen moved its tasting room and restaurant from the Old Mill to its brewery location, hidden in the backstreets of northeast Bend. Although the kitchen is now in a food truck, it’s maintained the Craft touch with barbecue and Southern cuisine like Po’ Boys, Sandos, a Cubano. It’s hard to choose between the southern fried chicken, gluten-free spicy sweet honey jalapeno cornbread, the fruitwood smoked brisket, or the fresh sweet potato tacos with lavender salt. It all pairs well with Craft Kitchen’s beers like the Juice is Loose Hazy IPA. For fun, Saturday night is comedy night, where Craft brings in national and local talent. Or, come Wednesday for open mic night." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Friendly staff, delicious food, and a solid cocktail. Shrimp Tacos and Burnt ends were delicious. Drinks were refreshing and the outdoor seating was wonderful on a sunny afternoon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of attending an After Hours Networking event at Craft Kitchen and Brewery last night, and I couldn't be more impressed! The space is amazing, offering a variety of outdoor activities like cornhole and Connect 4, which made for a fun and engaging evening. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, accommodating all preferences. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, ensuring that everyone had a great experience. We indulged in the sweet potato fries, shrimp po' boy, and mac 'n cheese—all of which were absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the portions were generous. Craft Kitchen and Brewery is a fantastic spot for both casual hangouts and organized events. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

In town on a firefighting assignment. There should be more stars to give. This casual, fun eatery has some of the best barbecue I've eaten...and being a southerner and living now in Missouri, me admitting that is a STATEMENT! Don't skip the burnt ends. They're pure heaven. The chicken is juicy, Mac is creamy and the spicy bbq sauce is tasty too. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We attended a murder mystery event . It was so fun ! Everyone was incredibly nice . The bartender kept the drinks coming. Affordable . Nice little place .

Sorry to do this but the experience became outrageous. Wife and I order some drinks with no intention of eating here. Been there, done that, it’s mid. We did however hit up Los Brothers food truck over at Ponch’s beforehand and it was fantastic. I’ll post that review shortly. Needless to say, I had a little burrito left that I hoped to finish off at Craft. Not a chance. Immediately as I’m biting in a woman comes out of nowhere to tell me there’s a posted sign that outside food is not allowed. Something about the department of agricultural not permitting it. Apparently they’re not a licensed restaurant. Her approach was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. Way to kill the vibe and ruin my day date. Didn’t seem to matter to her. I was a gentlemen and didn’t finish my burrito so she cost me that jolly. Overall that was a coffin nail for me for Craft. Oh and did I mention she then recommended their subpar food? She’s like, we have tacos too. Yes you do, and I could make better at home. You’re not Los Brothers Miss Delusional. What an unsavory experience that was. Oh and did I mention we were the only customer there? We provided excellent revenue with our drink order and now you’re willing to risk future business over a few burrito bites? Have it your way ma’am. Shall not return. Stay thirsty friends.

A good selection of craft beers and a couple of ciders. Food was excellent. The brisket was smoky and tender. Shoestring fries were perfect. They were sold out of smoked chicken wings otherwise it would have been a perfect 10/10

Another place in Bend that won't let you down. Smaller family friendly place that has about 12 beers on tap. Service was good and the bartender was knowledgeable. Only tried the poutine but it was excellent. Nice views with a patio too. Atmosphere was inviting and fun, prices were reasonable. Happy hour menu is a must with some of the best deals I've seen for both drinks and food.

Ended up stopping here for lunch when we found out that Deschutes didn't have food. Super glad we stopped here. The beer selection was very inventive and unique. Had 6 sample sizes of their beer and liked every one. The food was delicious as well. They smoke their own meats. Wish I had gotten the burnt ends, but the combo on a bun. Delicious and worth a visit!!

Yelp
This little place has a lot going on. It is in an odd part of town, there are wear houses and construction businesses. But there is a great view. We came on a night where they had open mic comedy. It wasn't great standup but it was fun, a good community, and I did laugh a little. The food was pretty good. I had the fried chicken which was juicy and really crispy. The greens are really good, fatty, smoky, and tender. The mac and cheese, however, was a disappointment-the sauce was grainy and lacked cheese flavor.

Matt R.

Yelp
Great stop! Local beer and onsite BBq! We had the Two Meat Platter. Chose brisket and burnt ends. Both tasted like they came from the same cut. The burnt ends were not the "melt in your mouth" sweet variety...but very tasty. The brisket is mainstream. The bean were "ranch." The seasoning on the shoestring fries was great! Oh, and beer brewed onsite and mixed cocktails, along with fresh baked pie.

Yelp
We went during one of the trivia nights with our grand daughter. The place was packed. The limited space is shared, it was cold enough outside that we all stayed inside. The food was very good. They were out of the beer I wanted to try but I was easily able to make do. Everything is ordered from the bar/counter. The gal at the bar was brutally honest, which , for us, made ordering much simpler. I would say that some effort is required, but they appear to apply the same or more effort to make their small business successful. Good food choices for us and our grand daughter. -One note- No milk option for kids. It ends up being a deal breaker for us for future visits. (Soda and CapriSun is available if desired)

Yelp
I always do enjoy my trips to Bend! If not to take in activities and sightseeing then it's to partake in it's great craft beer culture. To order the food at this brewery there is a food truck that the food is prepared at. We went there to look at their menu and Steve and I got some street tacos for lunch and some ice cream for dessert. All of which was very good! Inside the taproom is the beer menu and I got a fantastic beer here. I got their Granola Porter. I love these kinds of porters and feel like I don't see them often enough when visiting breweries. The chocolate, coffee and roasted flavors are just delightful and blend together so well with this beer. Definitely a great stop and a great kick off to hitting a few more breweries and cideries around Bend during our trip!

Yelp
This is a pretty sweet little spot. I liked the folk working there and the food was good. The collard greens were my favorite. I did feel the portions were a little small and the meat was over salted, but I still enjoyed my meal.

Sean M.

Yelp
First time here and the food is less than great, I ordered the Brisket with the Mac and cheese and the greens. The food came to me in less than 5 minutes, not a good way to start. The Brisket was cold and I am 90% sure that Brisket is a pre-made product. Both the Mac and cheese and the greens had been on a warmer for wau too long, the Mac was so bad I had them replace it with the cornbread. The Bartender was very friendly and helpful, if it wasn't for that they would have got 1 star from me.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
I just want to say the staff is amazingly kind. The lady taking my order was helpful and the man making the food asked how everything was. I was surprised there was no one on a Saturday around 12. First, order your food inside. Then take your number, get your own utensils and take a seat. The outdoor area had kid toys to keep the little ones occupied which was nice. The food: -fried oysters: the big kind of oysters which I don't really like but well prepared. I would only order if you like that ocean like flavor of big ones. Nice, crisp batter on the outside and it was served with a dipping sauce that complimented the oysters. -pulled pork, burnt ends and brisket plate: the pulled pork had a nice smoky flavor. The burnt ends did as well but had not as much caramelization on them or flavor. The brisket had a nice pink smoke ring and was flavorful but too lean for my liking. My son liked it. The greens were tasty, with a hint of Smokiness and salt from the meat bits and some acidity as well. The mac and cheese was decent too. No overcooked pasta. -out of the two bbq sauces, I actually preferred the spicy. It really wasn't that spicy. It had better texture and flavor than the original which seemed chunkier and peppery. -my husband wasn't a fan of the hazy IPA but will try others next time. I'd def return. I hope it draws more business. Perhaps I came on a slow day.

Yelp
Stop what you are doing and go get the fried chicken sandwich. This place was amazing for me because the owner has celiac so there were so many gluten free options. In fact, the menu only marks that which has gluten (which is really just the Mac and cheese). You would never know this fried chicken is gluten free. Chicken was tender, juicy and so flavorful. Excellent portions, subbed a gluten free bun and I got the shoe strings with Cajun seasoning which were delicious! It was so good I forgot to take a picture until I started eating. Also, excellent customer service!

Mitch S.

Yelp
Fried chicken and collard greens were outstanding! I heard good things about the brisket. I'm trying that next on my next visit.

Salena B.

Yelp
Excellent menu, friendly staff, bingo and comedy nights... this is my new favorite spot!

Maggie Z.

Yelp
Had high hopes for the beer and food here. Beer was good- I enjoyed the hazy ipa and American lager. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. We were craving bbq but felt like the food did not come out hot enough and the barbecue sauces weren't as good as we hoped. The location itself was pretty cool - there is an indoor area and an outside patio area by the bbq food truck. Bartender was friendly!

Robert M.

Yelp
The thing I haven't been able to figure out about this place yet is why there is not a line out the door. All. Day. Long. You want BBQ, seriously good BBQ, then this is the place. The brisket is as good as I've had, the pulled pork is excellent, and the burnt ends truly melt in your mouth. And don't forget the house sauce on any dish. I prefer the Spicy, but both sauces are BBQ perfection. You can even buy a jar to take home. Now for the sides. The mac is among the best anywhere, beans are perfection, and the cornbread is superb. Want to try the sweet potato fries? You should, they're the best I've ever had anywhere. As a household with celiac's who need gluten free food, I love that the Craft Kitchen menu shows you which dishes have gluten, rather than pointing out those that are gluten free. Beer. I'm a craft beer snob. One thing about brewing good beer; just about anybody can make a decent IPA (and Craft Kitchen does), but to make an excellent lager, you need to know what you're doing in the brewery. The Layton Lager is outstanding; really a top notch lager. I've had several of their other beers and there's no weaknesses; the stouts are good, the porters are good, the IPA's are good. The staff is very nice and service is great. They have a cozy indoor setting and lots of tables outside. They always have an interesting selection of music playing, and have made me a fan of bluegrass music. I really like this joint and have made it my tradition to come here every payday for lunch. You sure don't leave here hungry.

Yelp
Great yummy food and friendly staff. I ordered their cooked greens which is super good! Their brisket and pull pork are also amazing. The owners/cook were originally from GA, so their food is southern style. They make their meat fresh everyday. Their bread is from a local bakery which is also super delicious. Did not try their alcohol so not sure.

Brigitte O.

Yelp
Craft is amazing. Best fried chicken sandwich I've eaten. The chicken is moist and tender the breading is light and crispy. The lettuce is smooth and the bun is soft. The side salad is a salad I could eat every day of my life and still love! One day it had almonds and another day it had sunflower seeds. Both times it had grapes and strawberries and this delicate yet flavorful vinaigrette that steals the show. The brisket is tender and delicious. The bacon is chewy and perfect. The cider is good and my boyfriend liked his IPA. The brownie was good as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and the view is beautiful. The servers and hosts are super friendly and helpful. All in all a great place with good food and good people. Keep up the excellent work!

Chris B.

Yelp
One of the few hidden gems we've found so far. It's not far from 10 Barrel on the east side, so if they're packed one night, try out this hole-in-the-wall. They have some of the best brisket and southern sides from North Carolina to Oregon (I believe the cooking is Georgia-inspired). Try the collard greens if you don't believe me. The beers are top-notch, and the vibe is super friendly and relaxed. There's also a large outdoor area that's protected on all sides with plenty of toys for the kids to enjoy. All around this is one of our favorite spots so far - I'm hoping this review finds some worthy patrons, but not too many to ruin our secret!

Brittany T.

Yelp
The new location was immensely disappointing. Tiny beer selection and even fewer parking spaces. The food was the biggest letdown. The fried chicken combo comes with one piece of fried chicken and two sides for $12? And it was a chicken breast?!?!? A thigh at least people, cmon. And all the batter fell off due to being too greasy. The beans were way undercooked and the Mac and cheese tasted like cardboard. No flavor other maybe plastic? The only redeeming qualities were the fried oysters and the slaw (which my fiancé liked because it was "unique"). The only reason for 3 Stars was the staff was friendly. Sadly, this place took a serious dive when they moved. Looks like a 30 year old dive bar in there and they've only been open a couple of months. Be warned: if you eat inside, you'll be bombarded with flies. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Joey B.

Yelp
Edit: Read Robert M's review for a better description. Robert hit the nail right on the head!

Rachel P.

Yelp
Everything here is so wonderful. The best BBQ in bend in my opinion, I've tried a few things, the Cubano with a side of Mac is to die for! They always have a good variety of beers to choose from as well, and some delicious cocktails if you're not into beer. They had a fire pit and a heater outside to help keep visitors warm, and are in the process of adding more heaters. Plenty of tables outside to enjoy drinks or food. Bartender (I'm assuming she is one of the owners) was so friendly and welcoming, she and her husband made sure we had everything we needed. It's usually pretty quiet when we go, so skip the big name places and go support this smaller brewery! They deserve it!

Mike B.

Yelp
Loved Craft when they were at the Old Mill District. The river view was the best from the deck. New location, hidden gem from "Normal" Bend. Don't be afraid to break out of the Box. Great food, Great Beer and most of all Great People. Visit and pass the Word!!!!! Craft is Back!!!! Lunch today: Oyster Po Boy Sandwich Side: salad w/ the Best Blue Cheese Dressing I have ever had. "Homemade" Fried pickled veggies phenomenal.

Jake J.

Yelp
Their craft beer is meh honestly but god damn they make the best damn spicy bbq sauce I think I've ever had in my life

Trista M.

Yelp
Hands down the worst place I've been to in years. I want to give it 0 stars. Should've known the place wouldn't be good when the hostess didn't have a clue on how to seat us. She made excuses for the wait staff being busy, not sure how that made a difference since she was only responsible for seating patrons. So we finally sat and ordered. Waiter seemed nice, but started making odd comments about the chef cooking the food. After I aged what seemed 10 years, the food finally came out. Two of the five dishes were burnt. Not just a little burnt, but black burnt! So a chef did NOT cook those meals! Any respectable chef would not have served the food we received. The beer was just ok. Nothing to brag about. If the owner wants to be successful... concentrate on beer and just maybe, maybe, this place will survive. After you've mastered beer then try peanuts or pretzels.

Jon S.

Yelp
3rd time here and I keep wanting to like this place but they are making it hard to do so. Great views can't cover up cluelessness and lack of caring. 90 minutes before brunch is over and you're out of several important items that make the brunch a brunch? If it wasn't for the great location these folks would be in a world of hurt.

Michelle S.

Yelp
I read a previous review discussing the terrible hostess. I completely agree. From the second we walked in she looked completely bothered by our presence. She pretty much played on her cell phone a good amount of the time too. The only people she cracked a smile for was two girls she apparently knew because she was later chit chatting with them at their table and ate some of their food. We requested to sit outside once a table cleared so she said we could wait at the high tables. Well, her friends came in AFTER us and were seated outside first. Hmmm, okay. That was rude. Then when my husband flagged her down to ask about sitting outside again she was like oh yeah ok. No sorry, no whoops I forgot, no nothing. Zero stars for the hostess. First impressions are everything, and after all the amazing hostesses at everywhere we've been to, this was a miss. Then in came the server, Britney!!! Five stars for her!! She was phenomenal. Super friendly, great service, overall excellent. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. This was delicious!!! The chicken breast was not one bit dry. I also added the side of poppy slaw after seeing other yelpers say it was good. It was light and refreshing and complimented the heaviness of my entree well. I also had a bite of my husband's burnt ends in a bun. I've never had burnt ends before so didn't know what to expect. These were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also ordered the Cider. It was perfect for sitting outside on the patio with the great view.

Yelp
Alright Alright Alright They are open! Heading to the nearby kart racing joint I saw they were open. Whaaaaa was that? Did I just hear angels sing? After racing I insisted that everyone come to CK with me and they are addicted as well. Oh jalapeño cornbread how I missed you. Collared greens, to swim in you again.... ah And Cubano? You are as marvelous as I remember. Outstanding nominees- oyster or shrimp po'boy, chili, brisket, pulled pork. Tucked away in a bit of an industrial area, CK has a sweet outdoor patio along with indoor seating. Order up your food, grab a drink, visit and or play some games at your table. This joint knows what they are doing, put them on you list to try and I'm betting you will then move them onto your favorites list.

Yelp
Making our annual trip to Bend for a huge lacrosse tournament, and this place was chosen by one of the other families on our team. Great choice! I wish I could give split reviews because the beer is great, though they have a fairly small selection. But they brew it and based on the quality, I love it! As far as the food is concerned, I have nothing but high praise for the burnt ends! They were fantastico! I got the burnt ends plate with Napa slaw and fries. The slaw was quite tasty and not too much mayonnaise. The fries are well... fries, but they were nicely seasoned. My son got the fried chicken plate with a double order mac and cheese. He loved the chicken, but he said the mac and cheese was awesome! He mentioned that it was different from others he had, but it was great. Other people mentioned bad service here, but our experience was nothing like that. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and the dude working the food shack was also very friendly. If there was just one nit, it would have to be that the food was a bit slow to come out, but hey! That's just an excuse to get another round!

Julia D.

Yelp
Really interesting beers, really nice girl working, tasty wings. Not too comfortable a place to hang out. I assume the astro turf is for children...? I'm glad there were none there when I was there, because that seems like the kind of play area where they would be screaming.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Just the kind of place I need in my life. A hip place with good beer and BBQ on the North East side of town.

Melissa B.

Yelp
Went to the Grand re-opening of Craft last night. Fun little place. My likes are: cool open concept with games inside and out to keep adults and kids entertained; fun, casual picnic table style seating, garage door walls for open air, etc. My don't likes: I'm not a fan of places that boast a menu on their website but it ends up being a food truck outside that provides that food (meaning I can't order from a server) cause I'm lazy. Limited selection of drinks, not a full bar. Only beer and cider (they may have had wine, we didn't ask though) and they ran out of those available. So the choices went from 8 taps to 5 (yes, I realize it was an "event" and this is probably not the norm). Location is funky but I'm guessing they are banking on spill over from the new East side 10 Barrel location. To compete in a town where beer is seen as almost a religion Craft is going to have to up its game. But their new ish...once they find their zone this has the potential to be a super cool place!!

Yelp
On Wednesday March 8th 2023 My friend and I decided to attend an open mic event at Craft Kitchen&Brewing. We arrived at about 7:50 pm and ordered 1 drink (beer) each and also a BBQ Plate. The show then started promptly @ 8pm. My friend and I sat down and started enjoying our food and drinks. We saw 3 performers and at that point about 25 minutes past 8, my friend decided to go get another drink. The bartender poured him his drink and then one of the managers (Katy Ipock) came over and told the bartender not to serve him. My friend asked if he could know why and the manager (Katy Ipock) said "we have the right to refuse service". She said that "your friend (me) can finish his drink and after that both of you need to leave". My friend came back to the table and told me what had happened. I finished my drink in less than 5 minutes and we got up to leave. We closed our tab and left. The next day, March 9th I called Craft to speak to Katy and was told she would call me back. At 1:16 PM on Thursday March 9th, Katy Ipock left me a voicemail message saying we refused service because one or both of you looked liked you had been drinking beforehand. The bartender should be trained to spot this and she poured us another drink because guess what? We were sober when we walked in. This is why I know this incident was a bunch of lies. We spoke to my friend's sister and she was told by another patron that we were asked to leave based on misconstrued allegations from one of the performers. Anyone has the right to leave an establishment whenever they want. And that person could have left it at that. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in the way I was treated by Craft Kitchen and Breweries' Katy Ipock. Please reach out to me so we can clear this up before it becomes a bigger issue.

Yelp
Great first meal here, again. Not sure on the location but we had a wonderful lunch overlooking the river, nice waitstaff and the food was awesome good. Maybe the menu is not on the NY Times top 10 diet best sellers list but exceptional barbecue. If you're seeking tofu maybe just stick to the beer! The location is one of the best and have never understood why there has been so much tenant turnover. Really felt welcomed as a customer and enjoyed the beer vibe with a great selection of brews and knowledgable servers. Highly recommended for a low-key casual dining experience and if you're visiting this would be one of those required beer stops. If you hit it on a sunny ski day I think (hope) they will offer year round outdoor seating on the deck overlooking the river. For sure on warm days the outdoor deck dining is the best in Bend. Great job Craft Kitchen & Brewery, we'll be back.

Jeff B.

Yelp
My adult son and I had lunch here as we did the Bend Ale Trail. This place was easily tops for food among the places we ate in Bend. And the beer was decent. FOOD: 4.5. - Falafel burger. Outstanding. House barbecue (2) and house mustard available. - Greens/bacon. Excellent. BEER: 4.0. We really liked the Ritter Lager. SERVICE: 4.0. Fast and very friendly. AMBIANCE: 4.0. We visited in February so ate inside as the outside deck was closed and snow-covered. Bar and long wooden tables inside. Nice view looking down over the river.

Allison P.

Yelp
Came here twice for brunch on a recent trip to Bend! And I really wish had time to go one more time to try everything! Sadly I didn't try and of the beer. But they had bottomless mimosas so had to get that!! For the first brunch I got the friend chicken on a bun with slaw so so so so good!! Like this is a sandwich you have dreams about! Also tried the cornbread and brisket, super great! Next brunch got the spicy Bloody Mary it was perfect!! Exactly what I needed after all the beer tasting the night before!! The craft Benedict with crispy potatoes amazing! The potatoes were so good I was sad when I finished the last one! The staff was great! They also have a nice patio area that even though there was snow on the ground people were still outside. The place is small so depending on time you might be waiting. Can't wait to come back on my next trip to Bend!

Diane M.

Yelp
This location is off the Empire exit off 97. Layton is a small street off Empire. Went for the first time today and had delicious brisket taco $4 with yummy Mac and cheese side $4. You can order the food inside and beer. Outside is a permanent food truck with picnic tables. Small and casual inside. Definitely going back!

Gem T.

Yelp
What's the deal guys? Came here twice for lunch the past 2 weeks, both times closed :( Bummer!

Christine C.

Yelp
Amazingly delicious burnt end tacos and pork belly lettuce wraps! At Happy hour price order 2! Each beer we ordered was solid! Feel good about going here!

Bryan W.

Yelp
Been here several times and I gotta say it's off the hook! Neglect the old sour reviews, whoever's in the kitchen is a man possessed! The porter is ridiculously on point and thus far every menu item has been legit. The prices ring in maybe a dollar higher than you'd expect but when the flavor arrives on your plate you realize why. I work nearby and you can smell these guys firing up the bbq pit well before open. Quietly becoming one of Bend's best kept secrets

Nikki K.

Yelp
My first Cubano was a hit! So delish. We also had their version of wings and let me just say that if you like smoked meats, this is your place! There was plenty of outdoor seating so we felt comfortable social distancing and we had our pup with us. It just felt good to get out, listen to good music, have amazing food... just what I was craving.

Uyen V.

Yelp
After hiking, all I want to do is sit down and enjoy a good meal, a cold beer and good company. When we found Craft kitchen on Yelp, we were super excited. The view of the mill was amazing, the food sounded delicious, good beers on tap, nothing else I felt that I could ask for to be honest. We entered the restaurant looking for the regular "Wait To Be Seated" sign but didn't see anything. I noticed a guy standing at a counter at the far end of the counter smiling at us, but no other acknowledgement besides that. We walked over and let him know there was three of us and he handed us each a menu and told us that we order at that counter with him. Understandable, Tilt does it, lots of places do. I order first, Pork belly Cubano and a Log Rider Red. I had him my card and he hands it back to me and tells me we pay at the end. Not really standard of practice for this kind of set up, but alright I'll roll with it, I'm starving. My friends ordered the Chicken waffles tapas and Blackened Shrimp Po Boy. They also ordered the Strawberry Lemon Kombucha that was on tap. We go outside and find a nice table, a waitress brings us some waters and asked us if we had already ordered. This is where the set up gets confusing for me. Why would she ask that if everyone has to order up front? Whatever, still starving let's move on. Two minutes later, the guy in the front comes out to tell us that they no longer have the Kombucha. One friend ordered the Strawberry Lime something that involves sorbet. The other a regular southern sweet tea. Both drinks were pretty good. My beer on the other hand was only filled half way up the class. Food wise, my sandwich and my other friend's sandwich were okay, but the chicken and waffles, drenched in a vinegary jus left something to be deserved. The waffle was soggy, but the chicken was okay. This is where our meal went south. My friend ordered a sweet tea because she thought it was delicious. We didn't know there was an alcoholic one and the waitress did not ask. My friend tasted it and it happened to be the alcoholic one. She is pregnant. We told a waitress and she immediately grabbed it and apologized. But our waitress kind of just brushed it off "I was just trying to make sure you guys had a good time". Our bill was another disaster that I couldn't understand. If we all had to order separately then why did we not get three separate bills? And they charged us for the kombucha in place of the other drinks, and it took honestly 15 minutes to get anything straightened out and for us to finally get our sort of corrected bill. I love the food, hate the set up and I just feel the staff really need to be more careful about what they are giving people.

Yelp
Wow, just wow. There are only two guys here, but they're kicking butt making this a great experience. Their beer is good and has a high alcohol content (bonus)! The food is fantastic. I've had maybe 10 Cubano sandwiches in the last 3 years from different places in California and Oregon and this was by far my favorite.

Yelp
This place makes soon much sense! I love that they are open until close. No joke! Try the pumpkin beer. Ask for the sugar rim. Also their live music is outstanding. Entertaining and not over bearing.

Yelp
Happy hour? |= Best Happy Hour! Sit on the deck. Good music sound track Fish tacos so yummy. If you like sours they have two that I LOVED: Barrel Aged Sour Rye Saison and Stonefruit Lambic The view is great and on weekdays you can get lucky to stay long enough to have the place to yourself! Chris is great server and knows the area to give you great hike tips.

Yelp
Wasted a trip trying to go here. I understand printed materials (Bend Ale Trail map) can be out of date, but Craft Kitchen should update their website to reflect the closure!! Their webpage looks like that of an open business!

Yelp
I was disappointed in this place. I had high hopes and was excited for their new opening. But the food is overpriced for what you get and the whole cafeteria styled ordering is a bit awkward. I've tried this place a couple times now and still do not think it's worth the visit. Tonight we ordered drinks and shared the shrimp and grits. I do not believe we got a full pour of the red and the grits came with two little shrimp and two tomatoes as garnish. Really? For 8$? I know it is an appetizer but you might as well spend a few more dollars at Zydeco on their shrimp and grits and actually feel like you got your money's worth. I do like the new look and the tables but I wish Craft had been a better experience.

Yelp
Waited on a table for 3 outside for a long time.. Luckily we were able to grab our drinks and go sit at the beer garden while we waited. We mainly went for bottomless mimosas so it didn't upset us too much. Eventually we were so hungry we ended up sharing some fries when we finally got seated. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful! The view is absolutely beautiful. And AGAIN you can't beat 15 dollar bottomless mimosas. Saturday and Sunday 9-1!

Yelp
I gave the restaurant over a week to respond to my two phone calls before posting a review. We ordered the brisket burger which was yummy. I however ordered a $14 roasted vegetable salad. The only roasted vegetable was slimy zucchini atop plain green lettuce. And a single rice cake with a smear of guacamole. Yuk. Nice view, barely average service.

Yelp
Pork belly and burnt ends were fantastic! Smoked meat wedge salad was amazing. Food is original; a step up from most pub fare. Seriously good! And the beer was absolutely fantastic. Literally everything we tried - and that was a lot - were great! The gelato was amazing, especially the salted vanilla! And the view was lovely.

Yelp
The beer, the food, the service, and location are all perfect here. I enjoyed coming across here while in Bend. I would suggest anything with their bbq sauce.

Yelp
This place literally makes no sense. I feel like it's a poorly run inside joke. Where if you knew them this place would make sense and you could laugh at it. First of all the hours are listed from 9 to close. Wait when do they close? Is it 10 am? Or is it 1237 at night? Could be either. We got there at 448 pm so maybe after that? Then there's a list of numbered beers in the beer list but it's all jumbled. WHY HAVE THEM NUMBERED? Plus we never knew it was happy hour. No happy hour menus nor did our server tell us about it. We had to hear about it when a different server told a different table about happy hour. I just hope that the food isn't pretentious... Oh wait... 3-17-20 Last time I was here I didn't have a very good time. The beer was odd tasting. But in the year and a half that I was here they have improved very much. The beers I tried today were great. I don't know if anyone who worked there read my last review but I feel as if they made good changes and figured out what to do. I am glad my mind got changed today about this place.
