Craft Kitchen had the perfect neighborhood family vibe to it. The staff was very friendly and most of the people there seemed like locals around the neighborhood gather and the local pub. All the food was great and I highly recommend the Kale Caesar. Hint hint, the gf’s love the salad offerings at pubs. For those who don’t want to stay it seemed like their to go counter was as busy and the restaurant area. It’s def worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.

First time going with my wife yesterday. Staff was very friendly and the place had a nice, laid back vibe for a Friday night. Crowd was mixed with people enjoying the plethora of beer on tap along with families with kids here and there so it is a family- friendly place. I had the burger, wife had the pastrami sandwich, truffle fries, and we had the tuna car-paccio as an appetizer- everything we had was delicious and did not lack in quality (grass fed beef is always a +). Menu had a good variety of foods and many drinks/beers to choose from. This place is a gem in La Mesa and thankfully just a few minutes from the house! Will be bringing my family back here in the future for sure.

So glad we skipped Denny's and came here. We normally go to the Denny's across the street, but we happened to be in the area as opening and they did not disappoint. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the lobster omalette. The atmosphere was relaxed with the vibe of a cool pub. The customer service was great, very welcoming. The food was delicious and the presentation was way better than my expectations. My burrito looked like something out of a food magazine. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other items, as well as some of the drinks.

First time here. Food was good. Not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. Got the bacon mac and cheese, and burger. Plus 2 beers. I'll definitely be back.

The pandemic has been tough on many businesses. Especially hard hit has been the restaurant biz. This La Mesa gem is great gastro pub. The food is excellent and the selection of brews is very good. The beer selection is not as extensive as before but still very good. There is a great variety of styles of beer styles to choose from. They also have a good wine selection to choose from . The menu has had a redo but some of the pre pandemic favorites are still here. I'm glad this restaurant has survived. The people who work here are outstanding. It's the kind of place that makes you feel welcome . I had not been here since before the pandemic and felt at home. Occasionally the husband and wife team of Randy and Dena are around to make the place even more hospitable. This is a great place in La Mesa to unwind, have a meal and beverage and take in a ball game on one of their multiple screens. On the night I was there people were enjoying a Padres game.

Terrific beer selection, and some of the best bar food in San Diego. I highly recommend getting the pulled pork. 4/5 stars only because I still need to try all the food. Will be back!

Great spot to pop in for a pint, or 2. They re-fill growlers for your to-go beer. Awesome selection of local San Diego Brews. They also have Pliny the Elder on TAP. Didn't try the food, but the plates coming out the kitchen, looked AMAZING. SERVICE WAS GREAT. MUST GO, WILL GO AGAIN. ✌🍻
