Craft Lounge

Craft Lounge in Nampa is such a wonderful spot. The staff are friendly, the vibes are excellent and welcoming, and the food and drinks are delicious! They have so many choices when it comes to cocktails and if you prefer a certain type of alcohol they can easily change it up for you. They make their own syrups and you can really tell in the drinks! They have live music sometimes too, which is so much fun. I love being able to go in and get a drink and some delicious food and just be myself and relax. The happy hour is the best of any place I have been to. It's definitely my favorite spot. Casual or dressy, two people or a group, Craft is my go to for going out.

This place is a great little speakeasy. It's very quaint and unusual. The drinks are fantastic and they have a lot of unique drinks to try. During happy hour drinks are buy 1 get 1 free so that makes it more fun. Loved this place.

A wonderful selection of drinks and food! We all loved the truffle fries, the pimento grilled cheese and meat + Mediterranean platter. All the ladies at the table got quite excited for the tiki mugs when getting the Kentucky-Colada/Pain Reliever. The staff were so, so friendly and accommodating to our big group of people.

Absolutely amazing.. It was so cute and I loved all their little quirky details like the front door says employees only janitors closet I thought was cute. Love the whole vibe and the drinks were fanatical.

First time I've been to the Craft lounge and I was very impressed. First thing I didn't really understand was the whole speakeasy theme, which was during prohibition there were bars that operated secretly. It's like you're going back in time which is really cool. There's not even an entrance but a Janitor's closet door that you go through to get into the bar. I went during happy hour and they had really good prices on drinks. I was there with a group of friends some ate and all said the food was really good. Our waitress was very nice and did a great job serving us. I plan on going back with my wife and I highly recommend people to check out the Craft Lounge.

I went with a friend who had never come before, for her birthday. I have never had a bad experience here. The bartender was amazing, friendly and attentive without being over the top. The Fuzzy Leppard is the drink I had, while waiting, and the Girl Crush was what I ended with. I liked both the zero proof, and the alcoholic drink. The Girl Crush is one of the best mixed drinks I've had before. Seriously amazing. We shared the fries, I had a taco, and she had the buffalo chicken flatbread. Everything was excellent, she was impressed, and overall it was yet another amazing experience. ❤️

Such a fun, cool and amazing place to unwind after a day of working. The food does not disappoint. The drinks were amazing. The hospitality of the staff is phenomenal. Highly recommend coming to this unique bar.

Been to this lounge numerous times but went there tonight 20 minutes before our dinner reservations upstairs at Brick 29 for a cocktail. We got there and there was a few tables open but they would not let us sit down. They told us the table of 4 was reserved even though the people were late and had not responded to text messages and there was a couch and coffee table in the back but it was only used for parties of 6 or more, there were 4 of us. I asked, why can't we use it for 20 minutes and if a smaller party shows up, they can share with us. He asked the manager then came back and said no. We left. We would have spent $100 in 20 minutes but ended up leaving irritated. BAD BUSINESS!! Not the way you treat your customers!! Care less to ever go back!!

I didn't know this place existed until my hairdresser and a friend of mine told me about it. I absolutely love this place! The food is great, the drinks are really special and the service is the best!!!! I know I'm going to date myself, but I went to church in the building in the 60's when it was a church. LOL. We LOVE this place. From the decor, to the drinks to the food! This place is the perfect date night. The wait staff have always been super fabulous and attentive. I have never been left wondering where my waitress was or in need of anything for long! I recently stopped drinking alcohol all together for personal reasons and they have an epic Mocktail menu! I don't even miss the alcohol. I would give 10 stars if I could.

My fiancé and I have been here twice recently, and it's one of our favorite spots in Nampa now! We absolutely adore Brick 29, which is the restaurant upstairs in this building, and the Craft lounge has the same elevated level of cocktails and cuisine as Brick... I'm pretty sure the food is made by Brick's talented chefs upstairs as it's too good to not be! You can tell the staff of Craft much like Brick 29 prides themsleves on creating an incredible atmosphere as well as impeccable libations and food made with love. It has a speakeasy style hidden in plain sight yet tucked away in a hallway " janitors closet," and once you enter, it's as though you've traveled back in time! It's elegant and dim inside with curious oddities along the walls like taxidermy busts of animals and a small stage with a piano near the bar area. It's very inviting and makes for a fun place to take a date or meet with friends! The servers we've had are very helpful and pleasant. If you have questions about a drink on the menu, they are particularly knowledgeable and can help you decide between a couple of choices you're pondering over. The Sicilian nachos are a MUST for an appetizer. Just be aware that it is not a small plate.. they can easily be shared amongst a group of people. The cowboy candy (sweet jalapeños) and pomodoro (tomatoes with balsalmic) give it that wow factor that is unlike any other nachos you've ever had. The grilled cheese is also to die for ! It's not your typical grilled cheese like you make at home with sliced cheddar.. It's an upgraded ultra bougie version! If you decide to opt for a side salad, though, I suggest you avoid ordering the ceaser salad - it's super bland and dry for some reason, and they put way too many croutons on it.. and this is coming from someone who normally likes ceaser salad. For drinks, I highly recommend the Raspberry Mint cooler and the out of money. Out of money, which I added a picture of, is a great sweet and non-alcoholic drink, while the Raspberry Mint cooler is a wonderful sweet and refreshing drink choice with alcohol. If you've never been here or Brick 29, make sure to save up and go - they are both culinary experiences that can't be beat in the Nampa area- and fresh flavor adventures for your taste buds! This is hands down the best spot in town (and yes, I've tried most all of them). The service is always top notch, the ambiance is impeccable The food is unexpected in all the best ways. This is a must try! Only disappointment I have is not having tried their desserts yet. Highly recommend!

Craft Lounge is a great option for high quality mixed drinks, foodie eats, and a cozy atmosphere. We arrived with a group of 10 around 9PM on a Tuesday night and found a cozy corner to sit on couches and chairs. It is a good sized place and wasn't very busy. Service was excellent- we all ordered and paid separately and it wasn't an issue. We got drink and appetizers, everyone was happy with their selection and their food portions (Bavarian pretzel, truffle fries, nachos) are all generous and shareable. We will definitely be back- it was a great experience! They also have happy hour specials which can be found online. Open until 11PM on weekends which is hard to find in Nampa!

The cocktails are amazing. I had the huckleberry lemon drop and it was the freshest cocktail I have ever had. The staff was very nice. The atmosphere gives a prohibition/cigar lounge vibe. It's very class and perfect for a date night

Heard there was a speakeasy in Nampa from my favorite Boise hair stylist and knew I had to give it a try. Came here with some friends and enjoyed the evening! The sign on the door says something completely unrelated (ie: it's definitely a hidden speakeasy) but if you know it's here, you'll find it easily enough. The inside is all low lit delicious and there was plenty of seating when we came by. We ordered cocktails and charcuterie to enjoy before heading upstairs to Brick 29 for dinner. The cocktail menu is unique and leans heavily into bourbon and gin (no complaints here!). I tried and enjoyed a couple of their bourbon cocktails. The charcuterie shareable was also delish with some truly lovely cheese options. All in all a lovely evening is awaiting you at Craft Lounge. Get to it!

Love this place. Great drinks, stellar food and the staff is always amazing. They have themed drinks depending on the time of year. A fan favorite of ours is the nachos, their burger, and of course the cheese cake!

Great place. Food was well prepared and presented. Menu isn't huge but everything was delicious. The bar is excellent and the speakeasy is awesome. I'll definitely be back

Really neat place. You have to go through a door marked as a janitors closet to get there. Looks a lot like an old speak easy. The old fashioned was good but didn't have a cherry in it. They may not do that? The calamari is Panko crusted. Nice and crispy and really good! The nacho's were great, but I'd get them without the candies jalapeños next time. A little too sweet for my taste in nachos. The chips were fried there and were crispy and just the right amount of salt. The Swiss fondue is a great addition to appetizer. The pretzel was phenomenal but I absolutely did not like the beer cheese.

Second year in a row my wife and I spend the last day of the year at Craft Lounge (might make it a tradition)! The ambience was great and we enjoyed the old timey live music in the background. Staff were all dressed in their Roaring 20s themed attire and despite it being a full house, drinks were coming out quick and everyone had a super positive attitude. Highly recommend their seasonal cocktails but my go-to drink is always their orange tequila old fashioned. I hope to visit this place more often than just on the last day of the year.

A very unique and relaxing experience to visit here and enjoy some well "Craft"ed spirits. I do believe all the mixing ingredients are mostly made in house, so whatever your flavor might be, you'll be getting a good quality beverage. Since our first visit that was Pre CV19 saga, they've expanded the size of their space. A piano sits upon a stage for musicial nights. Suggest keeping an eye on the venue for nights of available entertainment. The way the guys dress here (the staff) reminds me of how it would have been in the 20's to 30's, and thus, this adds to the uniqueness of this place. This is exactly what the Nampa area needs so that we don't need to travel to the East! Enjoy your walk down to the Janitors closet door!

It's been so fun watching Craft Lounge grow and evolve over the years. Wonderful customer service, much better food menu (still appetizer-sized, but everything I've tried is amazing), and amazing and unique drinks.

We never miss this place when we come to town. Super fun and really nice vibe. Great service and creative cocktails

We were in town to visit family and stumbled upon this place from Yelp recommendations. Very much like a speak easy, going in the door marked Janitor closet was an adventure in itself. The atmosphere is like an old fancy mansion lounge. The bartender and server were like old friends in the way they treated our party! We had the best craft food I've had! The bacon grilled cheese was next level, the charcuterie was clearly made with fresh high quality items, the calamari were amazing large strips and perfectly fried with a wonderful dipping sauce, and the other food items were above par as well. The drinks were absolutely delicious and really well crafted to say the least! We tried almost everything on the menu and loved every single one of them!! I honestly can't say enough great things about this place!

I have always loved their old Fashions, but for something lighter I tried the gin old fashion with lavender butters. It was absolutely wonderful, especially when served up by "Handsome Dave". It's been a rocky year for this site but it is good to know that they are getting back to what they do best - serving and creating delicious cocktails!

I really hate to leave a five star review as I would really rather keep this hideaway a deep dark secret But, truth is, this is the place to go for actual handcrafted and new and different cocktails in a dark and dreamy atmosphere punctuated by sparkling chandeliers, a cozy fireplace to snuggle in front of, great service and the most delish appetizers you will ever find! But please SHHHH!

Finally got a chance to try this place out last night and it was so good we skipped our reservations upstairs and ate dinner at the bar. The bartenders were great - male and female though I don't remember their names. We did try some of the craft cocktails and were impressed, my boyfriend loved the gin ones he got. Their tequila selection is awesome especially since Idaho generally lacks in that department! We ordered the wagyu burgers after some tasty fried pickles and the only downside was that something, I think it was the French fries were too salty and we both left needing to get that salt taste out of our mouth. But everything was great and we will definitely be back!

It was a dark stormy night in the city of Nampa.....we were desperate to find somewhere we could not only drown our school starting sorrows in a glass of gin but also enjoy the ambiance of a cushioned bar stool or booth.....we googled "Drinks near me".....nothing but dingy bars and fast food restaurants. Our hearts sank. How will we survive living in Nampa with nowhere to go but Boise for a good hangout spot??? Suddenly we heard laughter and the soft melody of piano music........we followed it with hope in our eyes and desire on our guts....And then there she was in all her hidden away glory....Craft Lounge.....she was brilliant. Dimly lit enough to hide your stress tears of the upcoming semester but lively enough to make you forget the reason you were sad in the first place....drinks??? Sublime. Food??? Exceptional. Live pianist and company??? Unmatched. We left satisfied and content as if the sky had opened up, the rain had stopped, and God himself had shone a brilliant light upon a truly hidden gem. We will never be the same.

Came in on a Tuesday night around 9. It was almost empty so it was nice to get the couch right by the fire. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the French 75 and husband had the mai tai. His was unlike any we've ever had. We were both happy and definitely would love to come back. Especially if some live music were playing.

After an awesome dinner upstairs, we were able to get a table. Unfortunately we weren't seated near the band, but the environment, staff and the menu make the experience no matter where your seated.

Love this cool bar in the heart of Nampa! I wish they would expand their menu but it was pretty tasty. This venue would be perfect for a pianist to entertain the guest. They have a stage and area seating for a single musician. Love the classy dress attire of the bar keeps and waitress! More polished experience for locals to enjoy a drink and appetizers I really would recommend this place.

It's hit and miss on the service so we quit going here. We loved the look of the place but just no consistency on good service.

Horrible service. Got a couple drinks, decided to get more and the waiter seemed very confused by this order and then we paid and they tried to say we didn't pay on our way out the bar and waitress is yelling at us. That was the most insane thing. Take a look at your table first. Their drinks are not strong at all. I had two Pineapple Express and they tasted like sugary drinks with nothing. I won't be going back and they try to make it a speak easy but it's so frustrating and annoying. They don't know how to do a speak easy in Idaho.

This is the place to enjoy libations and bites to eat! We've enjoyed good service and delicious food. The ambiance makes this place inviting but wish the lighting was a bit brighter so you can actually see your food.

It was superb. They were busy and we got the last open table, but we got fantastic service from MJ! My friend even introduced himself as Peter Parker, ha! Will be back with our ladies! Bacon Popcorn was a nice muncher to have with our drinks!

This speak easy is very unique because of its ease of access! These places are notoriously difficult to get into and usually require a reservation or some kind of "appointment" date and must be planned in advance...but not the Craft Lounge!! You can easily get in on a whim and the ambiance is awesome! Tried a number of drink options too and there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy! Great place to bring friends with really knowledgeable and friendly staff!

We love both Craft Lounge locations! They make the best cocktails in the area and their food is great as well. The service is always excellent! The happy hour cocktail price is shockingly low, too good to be true but it's true!

The raddest place ever. This is really the only place to go in town, if you seek any kind of class. The drinks are superb. Staff is friendly and funny. A few nights a week the piano guy comes and plays. Every bar snack I've tried is delicious! Especially the pretzel.

Used to recommend the place quite a lot but it seems over the past year and a half it has become a victim of its own success and lost the speak easy vibe and personal touch in favor of expanding. When first I started come here it was the type of dark-room speak easy where bartenders put heart and story into making drinks, it was my pick for best mixed drinks in Idaho. Now I can't get a drink in front of me within 25 minutes of sitting down. Last time here I was there over 2 hours only getting 2 rounds, and me and my girlfriend got our drinks 15 mins apart from each other after ordering at the same time. One of our favorite drinks, milk punch, had completely changed from previous years which was a major disappointment. I wish this was just a bad experience amongst a lot of great memories but this has turned into the norm lately, we stopped coming here for a before dinner mixer as the long wait for our drinks has resulting us having to slam 20$+ rounds in seconds flat followed by cornering a staff member to pay so we can leave to make our reservation upstairs after showing up 45 minutes early. I can't say it's cause the staff are inattentive, it seems like everyone is constantly moving, but just seems it got too big to maintain its original excellence without scaling up the backend. The drinks are still good, but it's way to bright and open to call a "speakeasy" style bar anymore.
