Google
Variety of options for beers at a fair price. Conveniently located at Dekalb Market.

Google
This is my third location that I visit, so obviously it’s a good franchise lol. I saw someone say you pay quality to get quality and that is perfect line to say if you’re into craft beers because it can get pricy. Great location and great selection!

Nicholas R.

Google
Prices near fair. Service was chill and draft options sound.

Ryan S.

Google
Good selection but everything is like restaurant pricing for Takeaway beer

Dee From B.

Google
Excellent selection of beers. You will pay for quality.. and quality is what you gey

Google
Absurd upcharge. They charge $9 for a can of athletic, which sells for 2.50 at a regular store.

Google
Ridiculously overpriced. We paid close to $30 for 2 beers. On the contrary, we shortly made our way to a few other places nearby (Hops Hill) & paid $14 for 2 beers. Decent selection but probably wouldn't return simply due to the gouging.

Google
A good selection of beer but: - Expensive. Worth it for some, totally rip off for others. - Lackluster sour ale selection. I'd pay good money for a cool can. Nothing I saw in the fridge warranted the $13 price tag. Huge selection of IPAs tho if you're into that.

Yelp
Love this place. So many beer options and it's so convenient to grab a beer here and walk around Dekalb market to grab bites to eat at various places.

Yelp
Good selection but not great. Glad you can walk around dekalb market hall with a beer. The guy working there a few Fridays evenings ago not the nicest. Will check there selection again next time

Yelp
A solid draft selection helmed by super friendly and helpful staff. I was originally going to order a sour and given that particular brew's flavor profile, they steered me away towards a more enjoyable hazy IPA.

Yelp
Great variety of canned and draft beers. Lots of crafts as well as local options. Super quick service.

Yelp
These guys run, what I consider a great beer oasis in DeKalb Market. A very small area, they have a few refrigerators stocked with well thought out beer choices. Me, I like a nice cold draft beer. There are about 10 taps with an electronic board showing the alcohol content. I've been here a few times and asked the gents behind the counter to match what I normally drink. They matched me up with a Hefeweizen. Crisp, clean and tasted great. They had me try a saison, which to me had an IPA hoppy taste. A little too much going on for me. If your into craft beers, I recommend swinging by and have a tasting. Walk around the market with your brew, talk to vendors, it's what I do. Cheers!

Yelp
Located in Dekalb Market Hall, this is where you can find McKenzie's Black Cherry Cider on tap. The truth is, I'm not a beer drinker, so I only get excited about ciders. If you like to enjoy an occasional cider, try McKenzie's. So good!

Yelp
I came here to grab a drink with my friends on my way to the Jets game. The services was awesome. We were greeted and asked what we had a taste for. We were given samples to try what they recommended. The prices weren't that bad either for the sizes. I ended up getting a craft beer that's from Austin. However they have a decent sized menu with plenty of options for your beer palette. I definitely would come back here.

Yelp
First time here the other day, and I absolutely loved it. I was walking through the Dekalb Market Hall (check out my review for the Market Hall, by the way - that place is amazing), and I stumbled upon Craft + Carry. First off, let me say how nice and helpful the bartender was. She asked me what type of beer I was looking for, and then proceeded to help me find that exact one. She let me sample before buying, which was a great touch. She first served me an IPA, and then a sour. Both beers were delicious. I was permitted to carry the open beers around the entire Dekalb Market Hall as well - something I didn't expect. They had beers on tap and canned beers for purchase. If you're at the market hall and you need a pick-me-up, I highly suggest Craft + Carry. You will not be disappointed whatsoever.

Yelp
My cousin bought a beer for himself, my husband, and a cider for me. Sweet guy! This place was great! We got to tasted what they had before buying and it was a respectable taste, not a wimpy one, like you find at some places. I appreciate that they had two ciders and one wasn't pear. Thank goodness. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Yelp
I feel enjoyed being able to grab fresh craft beers while deciding on what I wanted for lunch. I tried the black cherry hard cider and it was delicious and satisfying. I will most definitely be back to try more . I wish larger sizes were available. I found it low key expensive $9 plus a $1 tip but that comes with the location. It is a nice treat

Yelp
Good beer on tap but prices in cooler are 1.5x-2x what you would pay elsewhere. $14 for a 16oz can of Mikkeler Freddie Murkury? Shame. Shame. Shame. Like, c'mon. It should cost less than getting it on tap at a bar. Walked away spending $67 on 5 16oz cans and feeling very foolish and disgusted by the greed of some merchants.

Yelp
Good beer selection, but like everything else in DKMH, very overpriced. $17 for a Grimm pint? Yikes. You should be able to buy a whole bottle for that much in most places.

Yelp
Definitely a great spot to grab a beer in dekalb. Pricy but seems right for this market and being in NYC. Variety of cans from all over and some draft beers. A good selection with a variety of brews! The male worker was super helpful and nice and asked if i Wanted advice or to try anything and helped me to select between a few options. The beer was great. The female staff working 6/26 was yawning multiple times and always had her head resting on her hands like she hated being there. Maybe it was an off day but she definitely wasn't friendly, especially when I asked her a quick question- seemed to be annoying her as she chatted with a friend not shopping there. Definitely best beer spot in the market but service could have been better especially as the female staff was running the register and has to interact with everyone. I don't know, if you're going to work in service just try a little to be kind. Would return for a quick beer. Ranges from $7-$13 depending on size and type of beer. Crowlers available!

Yelp
I feel so silly being worried I wouldn't be able to day drink at Dekalb Market. A lot of vendors have beer and wine, but their selection is no match for C&C. Craft beer galore -- both on draft and in cans and bottles. My husband was excited to find Mikheller. I was excited for a mini bottle of rose. But also the sour on draft. Lots to be excited about, truly. I recommend making this stop #1 so you can grab a beer and do a lap while you map out your culinary task list. Note: they'll pour anything from a can or bottle into a plastic cup, so if you're choosing for selfie purposes -- don't.

Yelp
They have SO MANY beer selections! The bartender was nice enough to let me sample some as well. Their selections were unique and had a huge variety of beer types. Other places have beer as well but I'd recommend stopping by Craft and Carry first and getting your drink there to go with any of your food choice. Service was quick and price was reasonable.

Yelp
Not an actual bar, and incredibly overpriced for what it is. I get that a lot of DeKalb Market is super overpriced and that's just part of the gimmick, but this is literally an 8x10 stand that charges $8-10 for drafts and the same high price for a bottle of beer you can buy for more than half less in at a distributor or a store. It's cool that you can walk around with it, but you can also walk around with a beer in a cup that's not from here and you paid 80% less for. Staff messed up the pour badly as well. Keep expectations low.

Yelp
Can't beat the plentiful craft beer, the awesome unique atmosphere, or the knowledgeable & friendly staff ‼

Yelp
Great spot inside the Dekalb Market. Being that I was visiting the area, it was great to be able to try some local beers here. For such a tiny stall, they had a decent number of taps as well as bottles for sale too! The guys working here were very friendly and helpful, super personable. What's great is you can grab a plastic cup and walk around the Dekalb Market with your beer. The taps probably rotate so I won't really go into the beer much, but overall a great experience.

Yelp
Great selection of beer but the prices are astronomical. While I understand there would be some markup given the location in Dekalb market, the prices are still nuts. Also, for the growlers there is no discount for the larger sizes. I have come to the market 20+ times since it has opened and I find the other vendors have more reasonably priced beer options if you are staying for food. And if you are taking something to go, there is a bar with beer within walking distance that has a similar selection and much more reasonable prices.

Yelp
TLDR: Small, but good selection of craft beer in Dekalb that you can bring with you to go around the food hall. With all of the good food available at Dekalb, you're probably going to need a drink to wash it all down. If want that drink to a great craft beer, you should hit up Craft & Carry. The place is pretty small - it just has enough room for the fridge of cans and bottles, as well as the taps behind the cashier, but you can bring any drink to go as you walk around Dekalb. The selection of bottles and cans seemed to be pretty impressive, even for the craft beer nerd. In case the beers on tap aren't that interesting to you, their bottles and cans seem like a great alternative. However, I think the selection of drafts they have, while not the most extensive, is still very solid. If you want to check it out ahead of time, see here: https://www.beermenus.com/places/44410-craft-carry?user_type_survey=1#menu. I think they do a great job of having local breweries from around New York and NJ represented in their tap lists. Since I am not from nor do I live in Brooklyn, I really liked that the draft list included Grimm and KCBC. The prices are on the higher end, but are comparable to a bar - you'll probably pay 8-10 bucks per pint. Service was great and they'll answer any questions you have about the beers they have on tap. It's a great option for craft beer in Dekalb!

Yelp
Brilliant concept, knowledgeable staff and the perfect antidote to the overwhelming number of choices at Dekalb Market. Basically, I start here, order something light and refreshing -- today was a Weissen-- and then wander until some smell or taste tickles my tastebud fancy. Love it!

Yelp
Good selection of local and national craft brews on draft and in cans/bottles. I was very happy to see some bottled beers from my home state (Michigan). The two employees working were helpful with recommendations and samples to pick what I wanted. Of note here is the ability to purchase a cup of beer so you can drink it with lunch/dinner at the nearby restaurants. They also have growlers (64 oz) and "crowlers" which are a 32oz cans they fill and seal in front of you, which I thought was unique. If you're in the area having a meal or want something to bring home, they seem like a good fit.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to grab beer. Not only do they have a great selection but Andy is always willing to help you find the right beer for you! Best customer service you could ask for which makes this place a 10/10.

Yelp
Nothing better than being able to enjoy a nice cold IPA as you peruse the delicious food that Dekalb Market has to offer. Friendly staff and tons of great options to take home, even growlers!

Yelp
Great staff and really friendly service!! They have an amazing selection of draft and is a great location to chill with some friends.

Yelp
This place has a great selection of craft and gluten free beers! Me and my friends came here last weekend and had a lovely time. The prices aren't too shabby either. I will being coming back soon.
