🔹Visit: January 4, 2025, Sat @ 1:00 PM🔹
The restaurant was very quiet, with only two other couples present. We were directed to scan a QR code to access the “Holiday Menu,” which had a very limited selection.
I typically avoid leaving negative public reviews, preferring instead to give feedback directly to the Manager on Duty and simply not return if the experience is poor. However, this visit was disappointing enough to share. While hunger often makes food taste better, we found ourselves unimpressed by the quality here.
🔹Food: Chicken Club Sandwich🔹
I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich with bacon on the side and a side of sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, they were out of sweet potato fries, so regular fries were substituted.
The food took longer than expected to arrive. The grilled chicken breast was small and slightly tough, and the sandwich was very dry. I ended up adding mustard to make it more palatable. It was supposed to come with a side of mayo, but that never arrived. The sandwich itself was basic: dry bread, a thin slice of tomato, and one small lettuce leaf. On a positive note, the bread was toasted properly.
The fries, however, were disappointing—wrinkled, half-burned, dry, and limp. It’s surprising how fries, something so simple, could be prepared so poorly.
🔹Food: Pulled Pork Mac-n-Cheese Sandwich🔹
The Pulled Pork Mac-n-Cheese Sandwich was also underwhelming. The macaroni resembled something out of a cheap instant box, with barely any cheese and a dry texture. The pulled pork lacked flavor and seasoning. My husband ate it because he was hungry, but it was far from enjoyable.
🔹Wine: Boxed Rosé🔹
The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the wine pour, which was generous. Unfortunately, the wine itself was not good—it tasted as if it had been open for too long.
🔹Atmosphere🔹
To add to the experience, a spider joined me at the table while I was having water. It seemed defensive, so I left it alone, much like the overall service we received.
