Must have went on a day understaffed. If I needed anything it took so long, I'm there's food spices we're on point. Lobster tail was a little old and wrinkled. Shrimp or good. Did I like it? I'm sure. Will I go back? Yes 4 hill high, the seafood is right now. You would just expect a little bit more.

This is my first time here when I can’t understand why more people weren’t there! The seafood boil I got was delicious and I did the everything spice or house spice or whatever it was. It was perfect. Flavorful and not too spicy.

Soooo anybody who knos me kno i love crawfishand oysters so coming here is like a weekly must 😋, service could be a tad bit better but overall crawfish frozen or fresh is always good and the tequila sunrises are a great pairing choice!!

The snow crab was perfect, juicy, and easy to peel. We ordered the seasoning mix. I think they call it "The Boom." The fried calamari was very good, as were the chicken wings and gumbo. The only thing that wasn't so good was the scallops. Services were good.

This was our second time my husband and I went because I really did enjoy the way their boil came out and their prices SEEMED reasonable. The second time coming in we ordered less and it still came out to be the same price we paid last time. Just know if something is not listed on the menu they just make up prices and then don’t itemize it on the receipt, FYI to this establishment this is false advertisement! 5.99$ for broccoli and 5.99 for mushrooms added and recommended to be added but not knowing it was going to cost that much is ridiculous! Let me not mentioned the service both times was slow and it was not like it was extremely busy. I go to swamp shack all the time which is always busy and have no problem with their service, as to why I always go! Yes food is good but know if you expect to pay money but get poor service this is not the place to go. Also, do not expect management to do anything because I talked to them about the outrageous price for the sides and they did nothing to rectify the issue. I didn’t ask for a refund but I did want to know why so much (for broccoli and mushrooms)! They could have at least said we can maybe do something for your next visit but didn’t! Yeah, thanks for the response that respectfully is you trying to justify NOTHING! I added a photo so everyone can see that clearly the management team here too clearly likes to lie! Where on my receipt is the price itemized! The 1st trip me and my husband came it was $125 the waitress recommended the broccoli and mushrooms which I added and like I previously said we got more! As in he ordered a 1/2 pound of shrimp added sausage and had an extra beer (as in 3 beers him 3 beers me)! Make it make sense! We got a lot less the second time and it was $117 clearly this establishment doesn’t care about lying about their prices or on me! I also said the service was FINE! I requested a manager not to talk about the service. I was there to talk to you about the prices and why was our ticket only $8 less then what we paid last time when we actually got more food our 1st visit! The service neither times was up to par with it not being a busy establishment! Your response just shows how you guys like to do business and have no training in customer service or how to properly run a business. As previously stated I wasn’t looking for a refund it’s the PRINCIPLE and feeling mislead and LIED to! Clearly the service extremely sucks because the management team here lacks customer service training (look at all the post with BAD REVIEWS nothing is rectified but thanks for the feedback) and explains why the service is not up to par with clearly $50 a person pricing! What I can do is report you all and will not be returning!

Crafty Crab in League City TX is amazing! The food is 5 star! It is delicious every time we go. Crawfish, crab, shrimp, scallops... everything we have had, we love!! Service is prompt and servers are friendly. We will revisit! Definitely a must try restaurant.

1lb snow 🦀 legs w mild booming sauce; too salty, not flavorful. Visited this place since I'm a 🦀 legs fanatic, the reviews seemed good, plus my friend visited and said food was good, but unfortunately I was disappointed. Will try one more time with maybe just the crafty cajun sauce and see if that makes a difference. Also the order came with 🥔 & 🌽 so I didn't need to order a side of 🥔 (didn't know at the time of ordering). Update: I've since revisited and found my happy place with the Crafty Cajun Sauce on the 🦀 and have returned several times either take-out or dine in with friends etc Drinks are pretty good too!

The service was great. Very friendly staff. The smell of wet carpet doesn't seem to go away. In my opinion the food didn't taste fresh and way over price. Go at your own risk.

I decided to come on a weekday night dinner time. I was surprised that there were actually at least 10 tables filled with customers, and I think they did an amazing job adding a large big screen TV. This is great for football/baseball seasons or any major sports event coming up to watch. There was one lady who served us, while also serving several tables. She was definitely highlight of my dining experience. Sweet, attentive, and professional. I ordered the Gumbo and crab cakes to start off with. Here's my take on the food: Gumbo: the spices are there. It has chicken, sausage, okra, celery, and other vegetables inside. However, as you can tell, it didn't have the dark roux like a GOOOOD gumbo does. Nevertheless, delicious and finished the whole bowl but wouldn't order again. Crab cakes: Crispy on the outside which balanced the soft REAL crab on the inside. The squeeze of lemon on top is a must to balance out the savoriness of the crab, and a sweet sauce to complement it was a nice hit! I could taste the mayo of the sauce and eventually decided it was too sweet and heavy with the crab cakes. For entree I ordered 1lb of clam boil and the seasonings and dressing on the side. That way I can control the spice and sauce level, and I honestly loved this idea. It definitely filled me up and I think it's worth the money for seafood! My friend ordered the 1/2 lb Lobster and 1/2 lb shrimp, she enjoyed it and she also agreed she would come back again! The drink menu variety is amazing with special shot deals! This is a place people should come and try out for a weekend night with sports play and some good seafood boil. Highly recommend this place and would come back again!

Visited on Friday at lunchtime with family for a celebration! Interior was spacious with ample seating. We ordered: Fried shrimp basket with onion rings Combine em B. Snow crab & whole shrimp with the boom seasoning Snow crab legs 1 pound with the boom seasoning 3 pounds crawfish with the boom seasoning Each seafood boil bag came with a bib, gloves, and tools. The food was flavorful, and we were so satisfied by the end of our meals! Didn't get the opportunity to snap pics of the seafood boil bags because we were busy enjoying them.

Our son has been going through Cancer treatment for a year in Houston and he rang the bell on Friday. we were given permission to take him to a restaurant for the first time in 12 months due to his non-existent immune system. he choose Joe's Crab Shack. They went out of there way to ensure he the best time ever. the staff (and I mean ALL OF THEM) were outstanding. I can count the times I have given exceptional reviews on one hand, this was the best ever. Thanks so much for making Saturday the greatest day for all of us in over a year. We hope to see all of you again Soon.

First time through and very happy with the experience. Good and prompt service, yummy bag of perfectly seasoned crab and shrimp!

Meh. Not bad in any way. Also, nothing special. The service here is wonderful, as is the clean atmosphere. The food is OK too. If you're into Cajun stuff, you'll give this place eight stars. (They are really good at what they do.) Though everything came out fresh, including my fried combo basket, I just felt ... unimpressed. If you're into Cajun spiced stuff that comes to the table in an inflated bag, you'll love this joint.

Great ambiance, great food, amazing seasonings, good service! They also have the best sweet tea in Texas! A little pricey but you can build your own to fit your budget. 10/10 recommend!

I finally made it here after looking to try it out for some time now. I order the lobster boil special. This meal was so delicious...I just wish I had a heat level a tad above mild and not super spicy. The butter sauce and potatoes were really good and lobster was ok, not the best I've had. Overall, looking forward to coming back soon.

Where should I start I have only been to this place twice. 1st time I went it took us 10 minutes to be seated and it was not busy and then took another 15 minutes to even be approached. Mind you you're going to be paying about $50 dollars a person for this kind of service. The waitress was nice once she approached I got the lobster tail boil she asked if I wanted to add broccoli and mushrooms I said yes and my husband ordered 1/2 lb of shrimp with sausage, rice, and hush puppies and we each had 3 beers, total $125. We thought this was reasonable and the boil and shrimp were great! The food is what made us come back shortly for a 2nd time and this is where I have a problem with them and will not come back! I will add my second time receipt and you can see for yourself why we questioned the bill. Also, management did not do anything but act like they understood my frustration! Also, said that the receipt was itemized clearly not but just so everyone knows it's 5.99 add on charge for mushrooms and 5.99 add on charge for broccoli! Outrageous!!! Don't go to the place read the reviews I am not a bot and have no reason to lie about my situation. I have a google review and can see how the management team replied to that and right there should show you alone what to prepare yourself to walk in to.

We went for Mothers Day and got service so horrible that we left and went to another establishment. We waited for almost a half an hour before anyone said anything to us and we got a lame excuse that the guy covering our section could not be found!?!?! Will not spend my money at Crafty Crab ever!

Definitely a 3 star place, just okay. My wife and I have been here several times. She likes the crawfish, and I have something else. I've been reasonably happy with the boiled crab (pretty good), though yesterday I had the fried catfish (on the oily side, my stomach wasn't happy). On the plus side, you can get an adequate cocktail here, which I find makes the noise tolerable. Once a waiter gets to the table the food comes out quickly. Yesterday both men's and ladies restrooms were pretty disgusting. Definitely room for improvement.

Absolutely fabulous food and service. Worth every penny spent. Best Gumbo this side of New Orleans. Will return again and again.

my fiancé and i both got seafood boils, and the food was mid. the flavor was weird, not bad not good just meh. my crabs would classify as anorexic. 1/4 of the shell had meat in it. the food also came out lukewarm at best. some of my crab was cold. the server was nice, but didn't stop by to see how the meal was going for refills. i see why this place was empty.

Good service and good food! The fried pickles i won't order again but the oysters, cheese sticks, and wings i will. Very spacious place and clean.

So I started going to the crafty crab about a year ago . In 3 weeks it will be a year ... the food NEVER FAILS. It's absolutely amazing , the servers are always very attentive and fast with the orders to , and the place is over all very clean and beautiful the decorations really set the vibe , I go at least 1 time a month , absolutely love this location .

The first time I went here was around the time when this location first opened. I was not really impressed and I can say that I have had better boiled seafood elsewhere. During this visit, my mother ordered the snow crab special which consists of 2 crab clusters, 1/2 lb of shrimp, 2 corn, 2 potato and 2 eggs. The boil was not lacking flavor at all, perfect amount of spice, not overly spicy.. but one thing I did not like was the taste of celery seasoning on the crab. Since I was not in the mood for boiled seafood, I ordered the fried shrimp and onion rings for myself. They only gave about 5 onion rings which does not make sense to me... but the fried shrimp was fried and seasoned well and they were deveined, which I appreciated. I would definitely order this again.

I have only been to this location one time, but it was pretty good. The service was good and the food was good. I would definitely come back.

Had late lunch here for friend's birthday. Atmosphere we didn't really care for huge TV and we were seated right in front of it, glaringly bright. Might be good to ask if customers are interested in watching sports...just a thought. Service was EXCELLENT, server was great and covering multiple tables and a very large 20+ person party and she was so nice, friendly and efficient! Our food was good crab cakes a little over cooked, but still ok on the inside, garlic butter Boiled blue crabs fantastic, fried catfish and o ion rings perfectly cooked. Bonus...our server brought key lime pie when I mentioned it was my friends birthday! I thought pricing was reasonable and over all we really liked it and will be back!

First time here and it was good. The BOOM seasoning was great on our order. I also had fried oysters which was good. The place is pretty spacious and there's a HUGE projector so probably a good place to eat some cajun seafood and watch sports. Our server was nice and the portions were plenty. Give them a shot if you're in the area and craving some cajun seafood!

Celebrating my cousin's birthday with family and friends. I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo with corn on the cob. It was good. I also had sweet tea.

We came in at 9:17 and Google Maps said they close at 10:00. They then told us they couldn't sit us and that dine-in seating closed at 9:15. They sat the people who walked in right in front of us, but not us. I don't know why 2 minutes matters that much, but now my kids and I are at a much better place with great service. The food was cooked perfectly crabs, shrimp and potatoes in the medium heat sauce. Portion was good for the price. Can't wait to go again.

I have been on a boiled shrimp kick for the last few months, trying them at different restaurants when I can find them. So far, Crafty Crab has had the best seasoned and prepared, good enough to eat plan actually. Even compared to some higher-end seafood restaurants. I can admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. The place gets packed on a weekend night, so I suggest you go a little early if you don't want to wait. It also appeared on our visit, that the larger the group, the longer the wait. Service was good, especially considered how busy they were.

It was my 2nd visit, first time was back when it first opened. The place is nice and service was good. I got the crawfish and shrimp with the boom sauce and fire spice level. The crawfish and shrimp were extremely bland, where was the spice and seasoning? We even asked for extra seasoning, and it tasted like straight mild cayenne pepper, zero salt. Shrimp were also overcooked. Too many better options out there and for cheaper. ‍

Was really disappointed with this place, we heard a lot of great things about it so we had high expectations. Service was meh, I asked for a French 75 and they said they could do it but it was awful. Our server noticed that I didn't like it so she offered to get me something else so I ordered the lemon drop. We ordered fried shrimp with onion rings and fries, it was pretty good, fries were the best part of our whole meal! Onion rings tasted frozen. Tarter sauce was weird. We got some steamed snow crabs which were over cooked, scallops too and they were not bad. We ordered all three sauces on the crab and a different one on the scallops but everything tasted the same. Needless to say we won't be going back, there was nothing that wowed us. Ambiance is a little strange, very big dining room with big TVs and a wall of lights that seems to belong in a club.

The food was so good I dream about it today. The service was good and efficient. The ambiance was good for a large restaurant.

first time there place was nice not sure about service I placed my food to go my claws were cold on the tips and a little I'm the middle sauce was salty I got buttery garlic and potatoes rotten I have reached out by email multiple times and still nothing this was in Mid February

We go weekly to get my fix but missed our regular Fri night date due to a previous engagement. Visited Saturday, Sept 14th and our waitress Erica was the BEST! She bought things to the table without us needing to ask... hubby was impressed and he never does so I had to give a review. Of course we'll be back and hope to see Erica again!

We were not impressed by the food or the service. My husband said he will never go back. I would try it again to see if it got better since it is nearby.

The beautiful Miss Victoria took my order and it was exactly what I asked for. The service was fast, the place was clean an I would come back over and over. I luv this place! The food was also very hot to say I ordered before they closed.

Not a buffet didnt have a good crab taste. Too spicy. Cooked too much. Had a hard time getting the crab out. Will not go back.

Last night we went in for the first time. We are new to the area and my husband was really wanting seafood. The food was warm and he said very good. Service left a lot to be desired as our server took our order and disappeared for the majority of the night. Took about 15 minutes after the hot seafood was dropped off the get the tools needed to open the crab. Refills for drinks took a wee bit as well. The restaurant only had 3 other families dining in so they were not busy at all. A few workers walking around, constantly looking at our area (I believe one was Travis, it was a little weird) but never stopping to see if we needed anything and etc. We are good tippers but found it interesting that our server chose to pick gratuity and give herself a $30 tip when she wasn't around all night and no one else helped us... I have never in my life seen a place count a baby (10 months old), especially when they didn't eat. Very odd. I think the main highlight for me was seeing my favorite movie, Hocus Pocus, on the large tv but other than that for me with the lack of service, inconvenience and etc we probably won't be back, especially not until the baby can actually eat since they do count infants. Did speak to a manager and they didn't address the lack of service or anything last night, just pretty much confirmed it's a head, the servers count heads and put it into the computer regardless if they are eating.

Very big roomy place, especially for a big party. Food was good and well flavored. Ordered crawfish, shrimp, crab, the works. Order came at a reasonable time. Our waitress was very friendly and was attentive to our needs.

I opted for the medium seasoning and definitely could've gone spicier but the flavor profile was delicious. The specials were more than enough for one person and we ended up with a lot of leftovers! The restaurant was fun and had a lot of seating. Service was great, pricing wasn't bad at all, I would totally recommend if your looking for a boil!

The food wasn't too bad but the portions weren't good unless you payed for your sides. Slow service with workers standing around with a full restaurant only four tables sat. Bathrooms were horrible!! Couldn't use! And I from out of town treated my family to this mess!

Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website of crafty crab. It will not be what you get when you order it. Be sure to make sure you know what you're buying. Because you may not get what you thought you were going to get on to go orders

My son and I went there last Sunday, I asked to be seated at a booth, the host said, there are none available. She placed us in the middle aisle, we sat there for half an hour; no one came to our table to greet us or show concern. I looked to the area ahead of where I was sitting; there were several booths available. I waved to the waitress who was going back an forth, she said, in a not do welcoming voice, I am busy just one moment. The person who seated us realized we had not been serve, she went over to the waitresses standing around, spoke with them; then came over to us and asked if there was anything she could get us? I said, all this time we have been here no one greeted us, I have lost my appetite. Oh I am sorry, we don't know where your server is; but all those server standing there and no one thought to ask us if there was anything they could get us. Tell your manager for me service stinks. The other person they sat on the table next to was also black, and was kept waiting for service. We left refusing to spend our money!

First time visiting with a group of 8 after church. I liked the ambiance and decor. We all enjoyed our seafood. None of us liked the side dishes we ordered...fries, sweet potato fries, corn. Our waiter was not very pleasant. It was strange that you had to ask for everything extra. Ie No cocktail sauce was served with the fried shrimp, no cracker to help eat the crab legs, no utensils at all, no drink refills unless you asked and waited for them. Another strange thing was everything was served on paper plates. Utensils, when we finally got them, we're plastic. Everything tasty but very messy with no naps, bibs or gloves...unless you asked. I doubt if we will be back.

The food is amazing. The waitress was attentive, and on point. Unfortunately, the floors were dirty, and the restrooms were worse. You have a great product , and crew, but a dirty restaurant, will sorry any diner Hope you see this, as I would be more than happy to review it again.
