I understand during a large rush that servers are busy, however, 45 minutes for a beer is never okay; especially without table touching. Tables around us waited just as long for soda and water. Other servers were handling their sections just fine, but our server was clearly not in any hurry to do her job. I ordered a side of fries and they were set down by a gentleman is chef's pants who was running food, and they proceeded to sit there for 20 min in the open air (where other food was periodically left) with flies landing on it, and a large, intoxicated gentleman proceeded to snack on them while speaking to the same server who was neglecting their table as well. She tried serving me these fries after witnessing all this. I explained this situation and told her that I would not be eating the fries due to the fact that they did not meet basic health code, she said she had no idea and she would bring me new fries, I also asked for the bill. 15 min later I was given cold fries and a bill with the fries still on them; no apology, no remorse. We put the card out and waited another 20 min without her coming back. My dad brought it to a manager who fought him on being charged for the fries explaining they were "400 people to 10 servers" and only took the fries off after my dad explained the sanitation issue with the fries. A simple google search of the events happening around your restaurant would be a great way to learn when to implement additional staff for events. My favorite part was when my dad told the manager that the girl shouldn't be a server, he said, "I'm not going to disagree with you." Solid manageareal attitude there. I will never go back, ever. Happy birthday to me.
