In my effort to always avoid Amazon as I instead support my local small businesses, I dropped in for the first time to look for Christmas cards. Not only did I find beautiful cards from local artists, but it’s a bonus for me knowing that this shop is woman run. Since I only bought 1 specialty card and a box of 12, I may be back for more. Friendly and very helpful service. Cute shop with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Unimpressed. Upon visiting with my mom and sister earlier today during our vacation to Portland, we came across this spot and upon entering were not greeted, welcomed or asked if we needed anything. Instead, about 5-10 minutes after we had arrived and were browsing and making our purchase selections, the woman behind the counter rudely told my mom to put her drink in the designated area. The problem is that someone else who also had a drink + food had not been told anything just a few minutes Beforehand. It just makes you wonder. There seems to be a disconnect in policy and kindness or customer service does not seem to be a priority. Needless to say, I was direct with the woman behind the counter and shared how awful she was. Avoid this store.

NOT a business reflective of Portland and the experiences I have had at other boutiques or shops during my visits in the past. No emphasis on costumer service. More emphasis on following you like a hawk to ensure you don't break or steal any of their "priced" goods. Similarly, there needs to be a better food/drink policy as I don't trust placing my drinks in a random location in this store not knowing what germs or other costumers might do to it. Based not just on my experience, but other similar reviews, I can see this is not a one time experience. Ownership needs to strongly revisit costumer etiquette and address their drink/food policy. COVID has been over for some time & if the idea is to avoid spillage or accidents then maybe these items should be in a museum instead of a store.

Beautiful shop and warm welcoming, I wanted to buy everything but I couldn't. And it's a woman owned business💜✨ definitely worth a visit for your local gifts

Long story short: this was the first time I've faced racism/double standard in Portland. The store has a policy of leaving food and drinks on a side table right at the entrance and I was told (borderline warned and yelled at) immediately after I walked in. In less than 30 second, a group of 3 white people walked in and they were all holding a drink each on hands but they were not told to put their drinks down. The store was not busy at the time, there were two employees on site. One man from the group was carrying a conversation while holding his cup at the register with one employee and the two other people were looking around at the store. I was curious so I watched carefully on the side and they were never being told to set down their drinks. I'm personally very disappointed with the treatment. Do not recommend.

I visited this location with my two young daughters to look for Christmas gifts and we were treated so poorly that I felt compelled to leave a negative review. We too were told to leave our food and drinks on the table upon entrance, but in a very rude, accusatory manner. The two workers then watched us like hawks as we perused the store, giving us concerned looks every time we touched an item. I felt so uncomfortable (as well as unimpressed with their merchandise) that I told my daughters not to touch anything since it was clear that the workers did not want us in the store. We left soon after. Very poor “customer service.” We will not return.

Okay so I came here in search of a Portland postcard, and found much, much more. What a fabulously-curated collection of creative expression! Clothes, kitsch, stickers, stationery, and a myriad of other beautifully-made items that kept my head spinning. A gem of the city, showcasing and celebrating local talent.
