Craig's Coffee

I’ve been wanting to try Craig’s for quite some time now and it exceeded my expectations. The baristas were wonderfully kind and knowledgeable. We tried the mocha, caramel latte, and house drip coffee. The baristas were timing every shot, measuring doses carefully, and had multiple roasts to try. Craig’s shows all the signs of a good coffee shop. The natural lighting was incredible in this cold winter. I’m so glad we were finally able to make it out from Ann Arbor. 10/10.

I cannot say enough good things about this coffee shop. Craig continuously strives to make great beverages and is genuinely interested in listening to people’s preferences and things they’d like to see on the menu. The service is amazing and never feels like I’m being rushed. The pop-ups that join on the weekends are always a great treat and an amazing opportunity to try other local Detroit businesses. The atmosphere here is lovely and I have thoroughly enjoyed adding this place to my Thursday-Saturday coffee routine.

The best roaster in the city! Craig’s Coffee makes some of the best blends around. He offers excellent customer service. Craig knows his coffee and can recommend how to grind and the best method for brewing. The new spot is going to be an excellent place to pick up that weekly bag of beans!

Craig’s is really special. Craig sources, imports, and roasts the beans himself, you can really tell a lot of care and thought those into the product. I make cold brew at home weekly with his cold brew blend, and go into the shop on weekends for really special lattes (think homemade pistachio butter and local maple syrup). The patrons are also really friendly and community oriented— it really is a wonderful place to be whether you’re picking up a special roast or hanging out on a Sunday morning. Craig also highlights other small business owners by having pastry and breakfast pop-ups most weekends!

Beautiful shop in an up-and-coming area, roasting beans in-house. Coffee is delicious, and Craig is a true coffee roasting expert. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of dining at Craig's coffee while I waited for an event to start next door. They had great customer service and they also offered me non dairy options for my beverage. I decided to have the chocolate chip made from buckwheat with sea salt on the top it was delicious. I recommend Craig's coffee not only do they have exceptional customer the atmosphere is everything. If you are looking for friendly customer service and a unique blend of coffee give Craig's coffee a try.

Best chai in town! Of course this place is dedicated to incredible coffee roasting, but matching Craig’s care and craft for coffee, he has also not forgotten about those of us who go for tea options. The chai is also well crafted. There’s an awesome hibiscus too. The vibe in this space is perfect for a launch to the day, especially on a Saturday. I always feel warmly welcomed and never rushed.

Best coffee shop in Detroit! The coffee is amazing, always gets me right! Craig is very personable and the vibes are always pleasantly on point. It’s always a good time when I stop by. Definitely a hidden gem within the city. You won’t regret coming in!!

I always buy their coffee at the store, but I hadn't been in to their coffee shop yet! It's a small space, only a few tables but it works with their hours. The staff were nice. They also have tea and popsicles which I'll definitely be coming back to try. Craig's is some of the best coffee in Detroit. They're most active on instagram so check them out there.
