"At Crane Ramen the bowls come out of the kitchen piping hot, loaded with noodles and toppings. Most of the vegetables used come from local farms within 100 miles of the restaurant and stocks are simmering away in the kitchen 24 hours a day. And while every ramen is worth an order, make sure to order a bowl with a side of house hot sauce to give your bowl an extra spicy kick of flavor." - Megan duBois

Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly wait staff, and minimal wait for our order. I recommend ordering at least one if not all the Buns! I had shrimp 🦐. So good! And the ramen was excellent! Warm and comforting, just as it should be. Pretty awesome cocktail menu as well, So Much Sake! 💕 Check it out. 🍜

The food is here always hits the spot, between the ramen and the pork buns you can't go wrong (you better try the pork buns). My only gripe is the servers tend to sometimes sit in the back by the bar lurking instead of checking up on customers more. This stopped me from getting some more appetizers at the pace I'd like but it's only enough to knock 1 star off.

OMG I'm Korean So I LOVE Some Noodles anything Asian inspired. This was a wonderful lunch and my daughter enjoyed it as well. Everything we ate was divine. Do stop in for a tofu bun. 😋

The food was so good! It was a nice ending to our trip to Jacksonville. The buns are amazing and the bowls were so yummy he orded different ramen to go! When we went it was happy hour and made them $10 each. It's well worth it!

This place is amazing! The ramen is more of an Asian fusion, but it is still delicious. The alcohol selection is great! They had a great selection of draft beer as well as sake and fusion cocktails. There was also kids trap music!! Everything from the food to the ambiance was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

Our first time visiting Jax. The area: Five Points is a hip residential area on the west bank of the St. Johns River, south of Brooklyn of Jacksonville. The street: Park Street has many restaurants/eateries, bars and shops, pretty bohemian. We initially picked Escape Restaurant (@ 1023 Park St.) to go but it’s empty when we walked in: no diners no servers, so we left. The restaurant: Crane is a couple of doors away from Escape Restaurant and pretty lively. So it’s for us. The decor is simple and casual. The service is good and the food is decent, especially the kimchi is surprisingly good - not sweet. The Brussels sprouts and octopus are good too. The spicy noodle 🍜 is the least desirable - the soup tastes fake and thick. Like their wine and the glass - the bar is in the back.

My wife and I walked in and were seated right away. It wasn't too busy when we walked in so the host and waitress were attentive. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. For this being a Ramen restaurant, we both expected the flavors to be what we've previously experienced, and over all, none of it was bad, just not what we were expecting. As an appetizer, we ordered the pork buns and those were very good. There was a nice charred texture on the pork, especially on the fat. The Ramen itself was something different than what we were expecting. I ordered the spicy shoyu tonkatsu. The broth wasn't very flavorful and the noodles reminded me of the same noodles you'd get from an instant Ramen pack. The saving grace in this Ramen bowl was the shredded tonkatsu pork. There was a lot of flavor packed into that and I was not expecting the sweetness, but it complimented the broth well. My wife went another route and ordered the traditional tonkatsu Ramen, with chili on the side. Her first few bites she described the broth as very light and different from traditional tonkatsu broths we usually get at Ramen joints. On top of that, she did not like the texture of her noodles either. They were overcooked and a little mushy. She was disappointed because she was expecting the broth to be that thick and creamy texture that a tonkatsu broth usually has, but it wasn't anywhere close to that. The chili definitely helped the flavor for her. The chashu pork was not great either, I tried it for myself. Usually, chashu will fall apart after you bite into it because of how soft it is and how much of the soup broth it has absorbed, however, we had to work to chew it. Overall, she rated her Ramen a 5/10. The experience itself wasn't bad, we were just disappointed that they called themselves a Ramen joint and there wasn't much flavor packed into their broths. I wouldn't say you shouldn't come here, the flavors just weren't to our liking. The overall ambiance and experience would be a 4/5, great date nite place, just not the best Ramen place.

My husband and I tried this place out today for lunch and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Vegetable Gyoza and the Vegetable Curry Ramen with Tofu. Everything was really great. The only reason I took a star off is because everything was pretty heavy on the salt. Other than the salt issue, the food had great flavor and was presented beautifully.
