We love Trivia night (Tuesdays at 6:30). The place is super casual and kids are allowed. There are a few food options but you can also bring in your own food or order from the taco truck outside (quite good!). I like that they have a selection of wine too.

Google
Happened upon here due to the taco truck connected with the brewery. Beer was fine, but the highlight of this place is the pinball machines!

Google
What a great taproom/brewery. Nice space, which was set up for cornhole this particular night, and fast friendly service. Great selection of beers on tap, and a simple menu to round out the experience.

Google
Extremely solid beer, nice people, just opened - big fan & we'll be back! Updated Review from 5 stars: I've stopped going because there are so many children here all the time now. I'm happy parents have a place to go too, but me personally, I just want a place to relax and the past couple times I've gone it's been very loud with kids running around amped on soda/sugar and throwing bags, they even hit a guy sitting next to us last visit (this was late at night even). Feels like a daycare, not a bar. I support the business in doing what they want, and I have plenty of other options (just none as close to our house as this place is), but people should know before going it's not a normal bar vibe/is very child-centric.

Google
Went for their new Commander event on Wednesday nights and had a Rootbeer they make in house, which was quite tasty. I ordered some food while there as well from the limited menu, but it was worth ordering as it was delicious and good value. I wish I drank beer, though, as they are providing a free Magic Booster with purchase of your first beer durring their Commander night. I will definitely be back for more nights.

Grabbed a few pilsners here after a hike and will definitely be back. The outdoor table area was the perfect spot to relax with a beer. Great selection, friendly staff!

Google
Good beer selection, very open space and great for grabbing beers with your pups. Ate takeaway from 4 Sisters next door, muy bien. Also, excellent people watching across the street if you're into that.

Google
Family friendly and inviting atmosphere with great beer and a killer taco truck outside, what's not to like.

Yelp
Very impressive place in Bremerton, which needs more of these! Really cool people and a nice, open seating area with lots of room. Outside seating as well, which leads to a food truck location next door. I had a hefeweizen or wheat beer of some kind, it was really good! I was in a large group and everyone enjoyed their different beers, also had a couple of ciders on tap. Be prepared to bring your own food or eat from whichever food truck there happens to be, but the beer, space, and people are top notch!

Yelp
Steve and I recently made a stop at Crane's Castle. This is a relatively new brewery that has emerged in the Bremerton brewing scene. I must say that I enjoy whenever a new addition arrives! At Crane's Castle we tried several different beers. All in which we enjoyed. Beers that I like to give mention to try are their dopplebock and the dunkleweisen. This brewery also has food. Nothing quite like a full scale restaurant but food items that aren't microwave entrees either. We split a yummy pretzel with mustard and we each had one of their sausages a piece. The tasting room is clean and spacious which to me is always a plus. I would definitely consider going back to this brewery again.

Yelp
Came here specifically for the PIROSHKY food truck. Love PIROSHKY'S, fresh and tasty. Follow them on social media to see where they will be next. Crane's is definitely on my list to try. While waiting in line for the truck to open, the beer garden opened up for use. Thank You Crane's Castle and PIROSHKY for putting this event together for Kitsap.

Yelp
Another brewery in Bremerton?! Yup this place is legit. Love the setup lots of space and they got an area if you wanna play corn hole. Bunch of board games as well if you wanna play while drinking. They got a good selection of beers. They got hot dogs , chips and beer pretzels. Oh they got a food truck outside which I thought was dope. Overall dope spot for good vibes and good beers.

Yelp
They have a nice diverse selection available, not totally dominated by hoppy IPA's which are not my thing. Drinking area is spacious. inside and outside, including some very comfortable chairs and couches if you can grab before someone else does.

Yelp
Stopped by here looking for pizza before a meet up with friends. Did NOT find pizza but instead found some delicious beer selection and had hot sandwiches. There is a large selection of beer/beverages, and the young man, behind the counter, was very helpful with our selection. There isn't much in the way of food, so plan on having a quick bite with your selected beverage. I am sure during the summer, it will be nice to sit outside on the deck area and sip a cold beer.

Yelp
New brewery in Kitsap county!!!! I believe that it is locally owned too! A friend of mine works here and he has recommended us to come and check it out! I'm not sure if they've held their actual grand opening yet, i think they've only held their soft opening. I'm just going to get this out of the way now, but the place has a weird smell to it. Reminds me of like the farm or pet store. I don't know. Maybe I'm just weird. BUT, when you first walk in there's a bunch of tables and you reach the counter and order. There's bar stools to sit and chat. They have games to play. AND ITS KID FRIENDLY! Literally. They have tents and games for children too. They were playing a Michael Jackson station, which i really liked. There's a couches too in the back! I ordered the pretzel with the beer cheese. And holy. SOOOO GOOD. I've never had beer cheese before, i was a little skeptical. Let me tell you. I'll be back for that damn cheese. They use their own beer to make it (obviously) and they change the type of beer they use for the cheese, so it's the exact same every time! And i ordered the flight! I think it was $12 or $15 for a flight of 5 selections with what they call nibbles (cute, i know). It's like a bag of chips lol. If you like beer and breweries, definitely check it out and support local! I'll for sure be back!

Yelp
Beer: Not your typical beer. The Scotch ale was as light as an amber and tasted ok. The Pilsner was average The Porter was good The doppleboch was great The red was good The "P" something IPA was EXCELLENT! The other IPA was good. Setting: I felt confused to what kind of brewery this place was supposed to be. After speaking with the bartender, the theme was supposed to be "like a German beer hall" I did not get that feeling what so ever. Perhaps the bartender was wrong or I just haven't been to enough German beer halls. (I have been to three in Munich) I know this place is still new and the owners are trying to figure out how to fill in all the voids but still. Staff: Friendly and nice. Nothing to complain or spend a lot of time explaining. They offer a "VIP membership" you can pay different amounts and get different levels of awesomeness. You plan to make this your spot. It is worth it. Overall try it out!

Yelp
Perfect for families!! Great place to grab a brew, brat, and pretzel. Felt like southern Germany, with the long, wooden tables, the kid-friendly, chill vibe, and delicious pretzels. The location is slightly odd as it's in a strip mall and doesn't have the ambiance of a brewery. Super kid-friendly; there's a play-mini-kitchen, games, and the urinals are child-size and there's a step-stool in the restroom for wee-ones to wash their hands. Servers are friendly. Atmosphere is casual like a coffee-shop and there's sofas like a coffee-shop or living room. Kids loved playing corn- hole too. The line and wait-time to grab a brew at the counter is worth the wait. (They could hire more folks too?) The only reason for 4-stars is the massive amount of fruit-flies was beyond annoying, pesky, and gross. Would definitely recommend and return again next time I'm in Bremerton.

Yelp
Very friendly and welcoming. Great place to stop for a drink and snack! Lots of sweaty. Dog friendly!

Yelp
Excellent Beer and excellent people! Great place to meet up with friends, play some games, and relax in the beer garden. Good vibes!

Yelp
Nice new brewery in Bremerton. It was a good stop. They had quite a few beers and were still in the process of brewing quite a few more. I had a scotch beer it was good, not too heavy or high on the ABV, I liked it! The space is pretty big, it's also family friendly. They have a few small snacks like Bavarian style pretzels. I would recommend a stop by!

Yelp
I got to visit this brewery over the New Year's holiday weekend this last year. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The building is open and there's a lot of room for games and activities. As for the beer, it was great. I tried a variety of seasonal brews, which were fantastic on that rainy Bremerton night. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and were super helpful when it came time to choose new beers. They definitely know their beer at Crane's Castle, and I will be stopping there any time I'm in Bremerton - not to mention buying their beer if I ever find it in stores.

Yelp
We held my daughter in laws baby shower here this morning. The staff was amazingly polite. Opening earlier than the planned time. There was a miscommunication between staff and coordinator about the moving of tables and yet everyone went out of their way to make it amazing for our family. Plenty of room, ample parking, prices are comparable with ale houses in area. Brewing room on site and you can view it from inside. The large tables and benches are really unique and sturdy. A play area for small children. Outdoor seating. A shelf of board games to enjoy while enjoying a pint of brew. We highly recommend this East Bremerton tasting room.

Yelp
I am all for family friendly but not family insane. I went last night with my husband, mother in-law, father-in-law and sister. They arrived early grabbing a seat. When we arrived we were greeted outside by five kids who wouldn't let us in. I said excuse me three times still the elementary and younger kids without parents wouldn't move from the door. I finally got mad and said, "Excuse me is the the nice way of MOVE!" All this happened while parents watched from inside. I grew up in Germany and loved going with my parents to the Beir Halls and watching the passing of the boots. But NEVER did we get to SCREAM like the kids do here. Family friendly is a great idea. I was so looking forward to a good ol Beir Hall feel and being able to bring family. On another note I would love to give FIVE stars to the BBQ outside that is not apart of the venue. I will be back only to place a to go order at Augie's Back Yard BBQ. I can't even rate the rest of the establishment/staff because the kids screaming and not letting me even in the door ruined it from the beginning.

Yelp
This hidden gem....first, you can bring your own food since they only have light snacks. However, they have a nice selection of beers, ciders and kombucha. There are a ton of board games, physical games and even an area for the kids to play (in the event that you wanted to bring them). It's a great spot for gatherings or small events too!

Mike W.

Yelp
Went with my wife and a few friends the other night. Service was phenomenal. I'm not a beer drinking but decided to give one a try anyways. The lady suggested a watermelon cider which I agreed to. Before she poured a glass she actually gave me a sample to be sure I'd like it. The taste was pretty good. We had that along with a pretzel and cheese and a brat. The environment was clean and very welcoming. We live in Tacoma but next we are in Bremerton we will be sure to stop by and check out there new food selections.

Yelp
I love this place! A great place to come for a drink at the end of the day with friends. They have a wide selection of games to play while you drink (board, as well as corn hole) and you can grab a pizza from up the road and eat it here with your drinks. What's not to love. Oh and the cider is always amazing!

Terryl A.

Yelp
These folks make the best Black Beer (Schwarzbier) ever! Their pretzel and beer cheese dip is a meal in itself and the sausages! The food service is closed right now (during the pandemic), but you can go and fill your growler with absolute deliciousness. Do it today!

Yelp
Good beer. Weird venue. Food sub-par. I think they're growing into the business, and will probably mature into a pretty respectable place. For now though, they produce good beer, in an area swimming in good beer. Their location has a bird's eye view of a strip mall parking lot, and feels more like an empty warehouse than a comfortable public house. And, the chow is limited, mediocre, and not compelling price-wise. I'd go back, but not out of my way.

Yelp
Nothing better than local beer. But more importantly good beer. I do enjoy amazing beer. Crane's knows what they are doing when it comes to beer. The Scotch Ale is off the hook. And Can we say DoppleBock. Excellent IPAs as well. Food truck comes out and there is lots of fun to be had. Awesome to have another great place to get a beer.

Yelp
Great beer, and the owners and employees are all great. If you have kids, this is by far the most family friendly brewery you will find in the area. There is a kids play area and plenty of open space. If you don't have kids, it's still a great place to have some beers and play shuffle board, cornhole, or enjoy the outdoor area. As far as the beer goes, what I love is that they have a wide variety of beers. Most breweries I go to in the northwest have a bunch of IPAs and one or two other beers. They have great IPAs here, but they also cover the full spectrum of styles if you want to expand your horizons. So happy to have a great brewery in the neighborhood!

Yelp
What a refreshing local tasting room. I have been here twice. The beer is good and the selection is ample. The staff is friendly and best of all it 5 minutes from my house. This will probably be my new spot for a quick beer, and maybe a pretzel and beer cheese

Yelp
Great beer, nice space, and I appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere! I would love to tell you my favorite beer, but it changes every time I'm there! Check out this great addition to East Bremerton, bring your family, play some games, and drink this great beer!

Erin G.

Yelp
This is my new favorite brewery! Easy to find and super good beer. Food truck located in the back if you get hungry or you can bring in your own food. Very nice atmosphere. We will totally be back!

Yelp
New Brewery in Kitsap. Awesome porter and IPAs. If you like good beer, check this place out.

Erin L.

Yelp
Great place, will be back! This place is spacious and comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating. And importantly, the beer and kombucha on tap were delicious!
google avatar

Rebecca G.

Yelp
My first visit, and the place is great! Prices are good wide selection, staff was awesome. Convenient location that was easy to get into during evening traffic. Will definitely be back!

Kevin B.

Yelp
In a time where great beer and smiles are needed more than ever, Crane's Castle delivers! Brewmaster Dan is the beer Merlin of our times. He's created flavors for all palates with an emphasis on perfectly hopped IPAs. My favorite is his coconut porter (Named "Erin's Dream"). It usually goes quick so try it if you can. Thank you for staying open for your grateful, beer-loving community!!!

Brent M.

Yelp
I have been looking forward to their opening and have tried twice. Beers are adequate but both times there have been kids running wild. Even a kid's birthday party. That is not why I go to a brewpub. If you want to go drinking and let others watch your kids then it is highly recommended b

Sara F.

Yelp
Such a fun place to hang out with friends or family (or both). Friendly staff, great food options (food trucks on rotation, pretzels with beer cheese is AMAZING) and great location! Awesome selection of beer, cider, and even kombucha!! I always get a flight so I can try out lots of different beers (ciders & kombucha too) on tap. Love it!

Adam L.

Yelp
Great environment, delicious beer with lots of options, board games, food cart, corn hole tournaments! This place is an awesome chill location for friend and family who love themselves some beer!
