Thank you for the response, but it DOES NOT ADDRESS THE ISSUE, NOR DOES IT PROVIDE ANY FOLLOW UP TO FIX IT. Extremely rude and unprofessional service from the store manager. We purchased several items on 11/16/2025 using the Crate and Barrel credit card specifically for the 20% rewards back promotion. The espresso machine we received was mechanically defective. The sensor would only activate if the drip tray was forced in at a very specific angle, and even then it disconnected as soon as you removed your hand. It was impossible to make a single drink. We called the store and Karen advised us to bring the machine in for an exchange. We brought it back brand new in the box and explained the situation to Eric. He checked with the manager, who had already shown attitude toward staff. When Eric brought me to the front to begin the exchange and needed clarification, he approached the manager again, and this time the manager was openly aggressive in front of other customers. Eric looked visibly uncomfortable having to deal with the situation. When I tried to tell the manager that I needed an exchange, not a return and repurchase, because of the 20% rewards, he raised his voice, insisted he understood, and dismissed me. His explanation did not match the promotion at all. He referred to 20% trade discounts and a twenty dollar gift certificate, which had nothing to do with the cash back rewards program. When I attempted to clarify, he refused to listen and abruptly told me it was finished and that there would be a shipping charge. When I asked why, since it was free last time, he responded with even more attitude: “You can come in store to pick it up” and “that was because we had deals at that time.” I showed him the online listing stating free shipping for this machine and only then did he acknowledge it and remove the fee. We received a defective machine, drove back to the store for an exchange, and the manager made the entire process unnecessarily difficult. He also processed the transaction incorrectly and caused me to lose the 20% rewards I originally earned. Extremely poor management and a completely unacceptable customer service experience.

I purchased the Epicurean® Modern Black Paper Composite Cutting Board, and after regular use, I noticed the black color started coming off onto my food. The surface pigment seems to be leaching, which is extremely concerning for something marketed as food-safe. I contacted customer service about this issue, but unfortunately, the response so far has been slow and dismissive. I’ve been asked for irrelevant information instead of being offered a real solution. The board appears to contain resin and toxic coloring, which should never come in contact with food. I used the board for about two months, and since then, I’ve experienced skin irritation that may be related to exposure. I have medical documentation and photo evidence of both the product and the reaction. This is a serious product safety issue, and Create & Barre never takes it seriously.

Spent approximately twenty minutes trying to return something because the one cashier at the register was helping a woman buy apparently the entire store's inventory of fake, decorative berries. At one point a line of four to six people started behind me, and the cashier made no effort to acknowledge us or call additional employees to the registers. She spent the entire time calling other stores to check their stock of fake, decorative berries. The people in that line got out of line, and enough time passed for a new line to form before another employee finally came to the register. A frankly ludicrous customer service experience.

I’ve spent over 20k with crate and barrel over the last year and I ordered a floor lamp in person with a sales person at this location. The lamp shade was not delivered with the floor lamp. I’ve called 4 times for follow up on when shade will be delivered and each time I’ve called I’ve been given the run around “we will look into this” no follow up, no reply to email. Now the issue has been escalated to “advanced customer care team”? It’s a lampshade! What about this needs advanced help?! As a customer I shouldn’t have to call 4 times and at the very least I should have some sort of follow up or documentation.

Everything you buy is not decent quality. The salesperson will mark on your invoice as CUSTOM order , even if you order something in stock . When they deliver it , could be broken , cracked . They might send you a replacement 3 mos after but not a refund . Salesperson as a dirty sales strategy will mark everything custom , so NO REFUND. They will give you broken item and not care .

Jonathan Berrientos is hands down the best manager!! Never had a manager care so much! Everyone in the store was friendly, but Jonathan went above and beyond to help me with a wedding registry order. Corporate had messed up and charged me/sent a confirmation email for an item they didn’t have in-store, but he personally called multiple stores, found both items I needed, and even arranged for one to be shipped directly to my house...free of charge! He handled everything behind the scenes, and I didn’t even have to follow up because it arrived today!! Exceptional service and dedication...thank you, Jonathan!

We were exploring buying furniture for our home in Westwood and almost had finalized two vendors. We chanced upon the Crate & Barrel store in Beverly hills and met Jason and Walter. They were thoroughly professional and had a lot of experience and made thoughtful recommendation. We are ending up buying all of our furniture from them. Thank you Jason and Walter.

I had the best experience with a woman named Arraina. I didn't end up buying anything but I had a number of questions about furniture in my home and she was able to answer all of them to an expert level. I have told a number of my friends and colleagues to go to this location and ask for Arraina. Thank you so much for your assistance!

There's a lady named Karen working there and she's unpleasant every time I've been there. Acts like you're bothering her and putting her out-is impatient. The first time, I was there to spend $20,000.

So, apparently their customer service AND their products are terrible these days. I got the axis couch and couldn't be more disappointed. The cushions warped after days and my couch pillows were different heights. They saw the issue and said they would send me a replacement couch. MONTHS later I finally get new couch and look at this huge gap between back cushions. This is terrible and clearly a manufacturing issue yet again. I am starting to think they aren't capable of producing quality, well made products. How could they be so off with pillow measurements?

I don't know what is happening here, but after reading the reviews about this store location, it shows time and time again the staff is not up to par with the Crate and Barrel image. It sounds like some of the staff members are rude to their customers and I can attest to that as I've experienced that today, myself. Now, I'm not sure how the rest of the employees are, but the person I am going to mention is a lady named Araina. Honestly, I thought maybe it was a one-off situation, but I got on Yelp and wanted to see the history of the recent posts as I rely on this medium as my go-to info for reviews and I noticed there were a ton of negative comments regarding the staff and how they are to their customers. My Story: I had asked one of the members on the first floor where the bathroom was and an employee had advised that it was upstairs near a certain wall. I went upstairs and could not find the bathroom so, I had asked the nearest employee where it was. A middle-aged lady with red glasses and long straight hair behind the counter (Araina) closest to the window towards the street. She answered with "the bathroom is for customers only." Right then and there, I was surprised that she had even mentioned that to me. Which I had responded that I am a customer. Then she gave me another look as if I was lying to her. Then says it's only for paying customers. Mind you, I've NEVER been treated this way before and I was livid. LIVID. She then starts to "guilt trip" me into saying that this is the stores policy and repeats it's for customers. I'm not the type to confront people publicly. I also don't know if she was having a bad day (and have a level of empathy for people), but the way I was treated doesn't allow her to be a not-so-kind individual. To be honest, I felt like I was targeted as if I was "another Asian tourist." I know people reading this might think I may be pulling the race card, but I don't encounter this type of behavior from others and I think it comes from a place of entitlement. Everything about that interaction really ticked me off. Like I said, I'm not the one to publicly shame people for their behavior even though I know it wasn't right what they did. If it was the company policy, how do they judge who is a customer or not. Why did the employee downstairs direct me to where the bathroom was but not the person on the 2nd floor? If it's policy, then why wasn't everyone consistent in saying that it's for paying customers only. Does that mean they only target specific people or is that what they say to everyone? Highly unlikely or else a lot of people would have felt insulted. Why do I need to defend myself if I was a customer or not? Things I think their corporate office should really look into when it comes to training on the floor and interacting with customers. Not once in my 35 years have I ever felt like I wasn't welcomed into a store. What even bothers me the most is that I actually love Crate and Barrel and even CB2 because of its aesthetics and style and quality. Let's say I didn't purchase an item, am I not considered a customer? It just baffles me how she said it. I will say, the staff member who rang me up was sweet though. I described Araina's physical features and the cashier had identified her. I felt bad to put her in an awkward position but told her that my encounter with Araina left a really bad taste. She had asked if I wanted this info to be told to anyone else and it was her choice to let Araina know or a manager. I didn't have the time to talk to a manager since I was busy and had to leave, but I knew I wanted to write my long-winded experience for everyone to see but I also plan to email corporate this evening or tomorrow cause this needs to be addressed.

Currently checking out, Lance and Emilio are super helpful and kind. Their kindness and helpfulness is appreciated, good vibes . My first time ever coming here.

I came to Crate & Barrel recently because I needed some kitchen supplies. I was greeted right when I walked into the store which was very nice. I had specific items I was looking for and the lovely associate, Nella, helped me find them with ease. I've had mixed experiences at this location in the past with customer service but this particular visit was a 5 star experience. There are not many places in the area to shop for kitchen supplies. Crate & Barrel carries my favorite and trusted name brands such as Le Creuset, Kitchenaid, Greenpan, Scanpan, Breville, All-Clad, Smeg etc. My family cooks most of our meals at home because we like to eat healthy so having high quality kitchen supplies and cookware is important to us. There is a clearance section in the kitchenware section on the first floor. The had some good items but the savings weren't huge on this visit. This location has a top floor with furniture. It's pretty modern and basic. Nothing too fancy but indeed, practical. I did find a chair that I liked on my browse around the upstairs. It's not the style for my home nor do I need a chair but it was oh so comfy! Crate & Barrel also has curbside pick up when you order online! Metered parking on the street. Free 2 hour parking in the public parking lot next door. There are two parking lots there so make sure to park in the one that says "Public Parking."

Had a really horrible experience here - bad customer service, haven't had a situation like that ever. Definitely will not be returning.

I called the store today to ask if they would be open on MLK day. The associate said "ummm as far as I know we'll be open....I won't know until I'm here that day whether we're open or not. What a sad, disappointing answer. She didn't even care to check.

Very happy with our first experience here and getting a new sofa set. Ian was welcome and incredible!

I saw a dining room chair on C&B's website that I was interested in ordering. We went to this store and they did not have the chair on display, at that store or anywhere else in SoCal. We asked if we could order it to the store and try it out there, and the person we talked to encouraged us to do so. I ordered it, it came in, and we drove back to the store to check it out. They said "unfortunately, if we unwrap the chair, we would have to charge you a restocking fee if you don't want it". So we literally could not even look at the chair in person without committing to paying a restock fee, and the store was clearly not willing to take the L for what could have been a $2000 purchase. Never wasting my time with this store again.

Was looking for a few items on Christmas Eve and had some time to kill so what better place than Crate & Barrel? Little did I know that the Grinch was working over time posing as one of the hands down rudest employees I've ever encountered working in customer service... I specifically asked this customer representative (Middle aged woman with long brunette hair + glasses) on the 1st floor if she knew where the "Spaghetti strainers" are and she flat out told me "No" in the most "Why-are-you-bothering-me-I-can't-believe-you-just-asked-me-this-question-and-I-can't-be-bothered-attitude-as-she-nonchalantly-walked-away"... There wasn't even an ounce of pointing me in the right direction or at least attempting to tell me where I might find it? I found it extremely rude and disrespectful. 100% you know where it is. You work in the store and you work on this floor. Maybe she thought I was one of the slew of International rich Chinese tourists who often flood these stores... I'm not. I'm not that guy. I am the guy who will express my displeasure and dissatisfaction though. I asked another associate (Male) who pointed where the strainers were to me less than 30 feet away and I told him about the encounter and he quickly apologized for her behavior. Funny thing is she seemed quite friendly to some other customers, don't know why she was giving me attitude. I went to the 2nd floor where I had a few questions about couches. Big ups to Jason and Sy. on the 2nd floor for at least attempting to see like they want to work and be here on Christmas Eve. They were friendly and offered me suggestions and options on what I specifically wanted in terms of an ottoman. Hilarious is that Diedre or Deanna (I believe this is the lady that blew pasted me and say "No" actually made her away to the 2nd floor and walked right by me and I stared her right in the eyes waiting for an apology or "Sorry I was busy..." but I just got a nice long thousand yard stare instead. Rest assure, I will be taking my business elsewhere to the Crate & Barrel in South Bay.

The selection is fabulous! Whatever you are looking for, this store has it! Unique contemporary styling attractively displayed..

Hold on. Wasn't this $11.99 not $16.99? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it was, the label said so. Really, show me. Ok, so I suppose I could refund you and then re-ring you... if that's what you want? Yes, that's definitely what I want Sophia. I don't want to not pay the sale price that was labeled (the label which you then just removed). But my, did it then take you quite sometime to process that refund. Yes it did. So, not a super C&B experience. If this is the type of service the Housewives of Beverly Hills receive, no wonder they are the way they are.

I should have checked the reviews before ordering an item online to pick up from this location, which took them days to get ready, a simple cheeseboard which they already had in store. The pick up experience was even worse. Their "midwestern-farmer" type of staff is extremely unhelpful, rude, unwilling to help, unable to properly handle and pack the item and even unable to print a gift receipt.

Been in this Crate & Barrel location many times since it opened. Today was once again reminded of one of the things I like about Crate & Barrel. you can buy as many wine glasses as you want. You can buy one wine glass, you can buy three wine glasses, you can buy a boxed set of wine gasses, or however many wine glasses you need. There are several different kinds of wine glasses. You can see them online or in the store. Needed one Nattie 12 oz white wine glass today, so bought one. They are very nice glasses and are made in Slovakia.

May I please be contacted by someone in a supervisory position who can assist with resolving transaction? Thank you. It's been a number of weeks. I took a day off work to go in person to the store. We interacted with customer service via phone. The ball got rolling, but issue still hasn't been resolved. Crate and Barrel kindly issued gift card because of the problem, which was nice, but the problem with my account has not been fixed.

We were couch shopping & were interested in the new "plush modular" couch collection. We don't like shopping online for furniture, we would like to see/feel it in person. The Crate & Barrel we have back home (Summerlin location) does not carry it yet. Checked online if any other Crate & Barrel stores nearby have it in store and it says that specific couch is in stock and on display at their Beverly Hills location. So we called in first to make sure we don't waste any time. Staff: Crate and Barrel. Me: Hello, just wanted to know if you have the "plush" couch on display? Staff [says very quickly]: No we do not have that. Me: Just wanted to confirm, you don't have the "plush modular" couch? Beverly Hills location right? Staff: This is Beverly Hills location and we do not have that couch. Me: Is it possible if you can tell me what couches you have available on display then? Staff: I'm not going to tell you what we have on display, you can tell me the name of it and I can say yes or no. I just thought whatever then, ended up coming here anyways to try our luck hoping online was right. Didn't even bother to look for any sales associate to ask about specific couch. We just went straight to the couch section upstairs and it was the very first couch on display. Only annoyed the way that the sales associate on phone said rudely that they don't carry it. Did he even check or does he know what they're selling One star only for easy to access parking garage right next door (and two hours free).

Crate & Barrel SCAMMED ME. I bought furniture from them in April, and they delivered defective items in May. I tried to get them replaced as soon as I received them, and they agreed, but the replacements were in even worse condition than the originals. After four long months of dealing with this nonsense, I decided to return the defective items because they failed to replace them. All customer service representatives agreed to the return and refund. However, the corporate customer service supervisor, Shannon D., decided to put my order on "final sale," changing the original terms of the purchase. She refused to continue the replacements or allow me to return the items for a refund. She walked away with my money, acting like a complete scam and blatantly violating consumer protection laws. To make matters worse, the C&B delivery team caused damage to my property during the delivery service because they came smoking weed and they were high and unfocused. And the supervisor, Shannon D., just walked away from the destruction in my property, refusing to pay for the repairs. My experience with this corporate customer service supervisor, Shannon D., was horrific. Instead of addressing the issue and showing any problem-solving skills, she decided to punish and discriminate against me, refusing to replace my furniture or pay for the damage in my home simply because I pointed out the truth of her unprofessional and careless behavior. I've never encountered a supervisor so shameless, irrational, and narcissistic who RETALIATES against customers. This woman is going to drag Crate & Barrel down!.. Because of her terrible management, hundreds of customers are complaining and dissatisfied; and many lawyers are lining up to offer class action lawsuits against this fraudulent operation. Save your money and don't buy from Crate & Barrel--just go directly to RH or Arhaus, which are far more reputable and serious companies! PS: Please see attached photos of the damage to my property done during the delivery service by C&B staff.

Great selection and friendly staff. My go to place for housewares. A good place for anyone who entertains. Reasonable prices too.

What a pathetic excuse for a retail establishment. I am deeply saddened by the check-stand customer service. The employees are distracted, poorly trained, inept and mean. If you want to wait in line too long, feel like you are being done a favor, and have your day ruined, this is the place to go! When did treating a customer like garbage become OK? If you hate people, perhaps choose a job that is not face to face with clients who have to absorb your toxicity.

Worst customer service ever -- skip this location and Crate & Barrel all together if you ever want to receive your order!!! We ordered thousands of dollars worth of furniture back in August, after dealing with one rude employee downstairs we went upstairs where "JR" helped us place the order. He said "oh it won't arrive until October, is that okay?" And we agreed that timeline worked. In October, we looked at the order and it said now arriving in November. When November hit, we called and JR was clueless and said there was nothing he could do. It also took him over 30 minutes to tell us that after placing us on hold. Two bedroom pieces were ready for delivery last week and we confirmed the appointment. We got a follow up and the DAY OF they called to confirm. Not even 20 minutes later, someone calls and says they "forgot to put one of the pieces on the truck"... ummmm what???? Like, really? Needless to say, the delivery never happened. We called the general customer service line and they said it's not delivered because of COVID....????? Noooo it wasn't delivered because it wasn't "on the truck". Well, here's the truth... after talking to yet another employee.... it was actually BACKORDERED and it was never actually on the truck or warehouse at all. They had no idea why we had a delivery appointment!!?! There are serious communication problems with this company, especially when FOUR employees all have different excuses for us not getting the furniture the day of our delivery. Today, we get an email that our couch will have two pieces available at the end of December and one piece is backordered. Are you kidding me???? Long story short... don't waste your time and money. At this time I have been charged and have zero pieces of furniture 4 months later. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could give zero stars I would.

Please stop telling customers parking at the lot is free the 1st 2 hours. This isn't true. This has happened multiple times with several employees. So they're all misinforming

Bf thinks the collection and assortment of merchandise has gone downhill considerably since our last visit before Covid. We have bought a lot of furniture at this particular store! The staff is very nice so 3 stars for the employees!!

Oh dear....I love C&B and just moved close to your Beverly Hills store. I need a ton of new items but afraid to go to your Beverly Hills store after reading all the negative reviews. Have you improved your Customer Service?

Waited total of 30 minutes at 2 different registers and no one even bothered to help us. Plenty of chiefs but no Indians to actually help the customers. When we left our items with the cashier frustrated, their attitude was one of no big deal. Extremely unorganized and process was very inefficient. You need 2-3 staff members to resolve complex customer issues, the rest can help with fast checkouts. You are penalizing those with fast checkouts to have to wait until those complex problems are resolved which can take longer than just few minutes. Very poorly managed store!!!!

This would be a five-star review if all I considered were the product, but unfortunately, this location falls short in management. I am surprised there are no complaints from this elderly lady who was at the store at the same time I was dealing with a problematic return, a few days ago. The way the manager (I believe his name is Hugo, a bald and short man with a nasty attitude) treated her was appalling, with no respect for her age and no attempt at all to meet her in the middle. When he walked over to "help" me I was already expecting something bad considering the way he was speaking to her (I think she was trying to understand how to use a product and he told her to look online, instead of offering to help) but man... what I got was much worse. I have never been in the presence of such a dismissive and arrogant person before, and the way he addressed his employees, waving his hands, pointing and talking down and over them... I am shocked he still has any left. Sadly, someone like this is allowed to run a store of this caliber; where are his bosses to manage him? Where I generally shop in Northern California people are kind, they listen, and they try to accommodate their guests. I understand there are limits to what people can and can't do, but to walk into a conversation with a bad attitude without even putting down his laptop is an abomination. This guy should be sent back to the bottom to learn how to work with people again. I still love Crate & Barrel as a brand though.

**INVENTORY PEST ISSUE** MAJOR ISSUE - Love the OCEANSIDE SOFA - however am having a major issue with it coming with SMALL SPIDERS (Gross). Customer Support has been extremely standoff-ish and blaming US for the issue(unacceptable). Im simply trying to either get a replacement delivered without the pest issue, or a credit or refund so i can get a new sofa. Happy to have this one picked up by CB. Again we love the sofa, however the issue we are having is INEXCUSABLE and poblematic. Hoping for support and to get solution for us.

Customer service is bad in Woodland Hills location. Shelves are not organized and if you need any help with any question you have to wait and wait. Specially when you try to return unused items. Overpriced compare to quality of William Sonoma and Sur La Table.

The store itself is beautiful. The staff is very polite. There's a lot of selection, and it's very large. Parking is somewhat of a challenge. If you're dealing with orders or returns, there seems to be some confusion and it could be a very timely matter.

I bought a couple things online and selected store pick-up. Miraculously, C&B still does pandemic-era curbside pick-up, which I so appreciate especially in BH where parking is atrocious and even more so because it meant I could stop on my way home from the vet without having to drop off my dog at home first. When your items are ready, you receive an email. When you're on your way, you click on a link in the email to give them your ETA. And then, when you arrive, you click on the link that tells them you've arrived. Someone came to greet me immediately, verified my information, and then came right back out with my items within a couple minutes. Such a fantastic customer experience.

***BE PREPARED TO ASSEMBLE IT YOURSELF -- WHITE GLOVE SERVICE WAS RUDE AND DID NOT ASSEMBLE SOFA AS PROMISED*** I ordered a sofa based on the Beverly Hills sales person's guarantee that I could order the unit UNASSEMBLED and that their White Glove Service would include taking it down a narrow set of steps into my Airbnb rental apartment. The sofa was six months late due to the pandemic, not their fault. When it was ready and I received a call from the same person at Crate and Barrel Beverley Hills, I repeated my issue that the unit would have to be assembled in place and was assured it would be no problem. had already disassembled the existing sofa and carried it out to the street piece by piece. When the delivery company came with my sofa, it was not disassembled and the delivery man said it would not fit down my stairs. They said they wouldn't deliver it and would take back to the distribution center. At that point, I had no sofa and paid guests arriving at my Airbnb later that day. I asked if they could do their best and take it apart, then take downstairs, which they refused. At best, they would just dump the unit in my driveway, and drove away, which they did. I had about six hours to figure out how to disassemble the sofa myself, and called the store to speak with my sales person. He said he'd try to find out from the manufacture how to take it apart and promised to call me back. When he didn't call and I called back later that afternoon, I was told he had left for the day WITHOUT CALLING ME. I ended up finding assembly instructions on the website for the sofa manufacturer, took it apart, carried down the steps myself in pieces and reassembled, just in time for my incoming guests. If the delivery guys had attempted to even lift a f***ing finger and spend a few minutes helping me disassemble the unit and carry it downstairs, it would have been done hours earlier. I have nothing but DISGUST for Crate and Barrel and specifically for the Beverly Hills store and the salesperson, Parker. He should be fired.

[I tried submitting this review without any star rating but unfortunately it wouldn't allow me] I have not had a sofa since July 2021, we are in February 2022. After waiting 8+ months since I ordered from Crate and Barrel July 9, 2021, 16+ delayed notifications later and no effort from Crate and Barrel to recognize a loyal and patient customer, I decided to cancel my sofa order yesterday. Although the person at the BH Crate and Barrel was very kind, there was no effort to try to rectify the situation nor to retain me as a customer. It was assumed that I'll simply return to the store given they are 1 of just a few big box furniture retailers. I placed a new sofa order with Scandinavian Designs on February 6 and my new sofa is arriving on Friday, February 18. White glove service, no rush fees, no exorbitant amount of delivery fees.

Horrible service! Didn't show for in home consultation. (They confirmed the appointment by text the day before.) No one bothered to call to cancel the appointment. I rushed home from work to be at home at the scheduled time. I called the store. I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected. The staff (Glenn) was rude and I am still waiting for a manager to call me back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. (Will take my business elsewhere- need a complete living room- their loss.)

Products arrived late and damaged. Crate and Barrel support is incredibly uncaring about the problems I've encountered with this order. Beware when shopping with Crate and Barrel!

The saleswoman was so incompetent. We ordered an oversized table at the store. The item took forever to arrive. And apparently, the saleswoman only put table top when placing the order and forgot to put on the base. So have to wait another two months for the base and so we can put them together. My god.

Amazing and fantastic, I asked Waldir are about a wedding gift and he assisted me graciously found the items I was looking for help me with the purchase, wrapped and boxed everything beautifully! Thank you Waldir, hope to visit your beautiful store again soon.

Let me start off by saying, these people do profile.. I felt as if i was being followed? i kept having workers come up to me asking 'if i needed help'? i mean within the same 5 minutes and i kindly had to shoo away.. Secondly, there aren't many workers on the floor meaning I couldn't get any help, I had to call the store for the lady to come down to the first floor. Needless to say she ended up selling me an open set of Pyrex containers. I'm figuring these were returned since the box was opened... Next day it didn't fit my kitchen I tried bringing it to returns; i returned it better than the way she sold it to me and she's INSISTING for a no refund. But she sold it to be less then than 24 hours ago; still has the box, she sold it to me open and she doesn't want to take the return? She's nothing but rude and inpatient. I had to seriously BITE my tongue the way she was dismissing me away from the return counter; & she's the manager. Also DO NOT purchase anything without the BOX to the ITEM. This store only displays items with out the packaging because you wont be able to return it! Don't grab the items from the shelves ask for the box to it. I figure this store tries to limit returns based off their 'selling techniques' Customer Service said thats against their selling policies. If they try to refuse your refund with an ITEM that HAD a BARCODE, CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Nothing on the receipt says a UPC has to be present. Just stated an ID, the item and receipt in re-sellable condition. These people need simple common sense and MORE training for SIMPLE customer service.. Associate: Catherine O; 09/28/23

ALL leads and managers are incompetent and there is a lot of retaliation going on in this store. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. This store does not care for their customers nor their employees. also check for items that are in boxes. The managers like TONY, DENISSE, CATHERINE, & GARRETT allow returns such as coffee machines and serving sets that have been used and or either tampered and still allow them to be resold and put back on the shelf. save yourselves the trip, the reviews are true regarding the customer service. No one likes to help, most of the time there is no coverage due to bad scheduling, and the managers will always turn you to customer care online when there's always a way to resolve things. The store just doesn't want to take the return or the hit since all they care about is the sales and not the experience at c&b - especially this location. I'm so glad this place is getting sued!

I'm sorry to say but they have the Worst customer service I ever head ! I order a bed 6 weeks ago cost me 3,000 I schedule a delivery date and they show up without the bed saying that it's can't be delivered till Oc 1 witch is almost 4 month after I placed my order I talked to Lisa the " Manager " and norlan and they can't give me a solution they said it's pushback because of COVID-19 I don't like that a corporations are given an excuse of Covid to not bring your Servis Covd is over Business are usual for the paste 1 year and they still using that excuse And I need to sleep on my mattresses for anther 2 month !! Don't go there you won't get any good service !!

Updating my review bc I came in person and I was unfortunately assisted by Nella. Talk about grinch energy. I had a couple of returns and though she did not ask why I was returning like Nordstroms and other stores usually do I opted to inform her anyways that one of the coasters was chipped and damaged so that she wouldn't put it back on the floor to be resold to another customer and she said "I don't really want to hear the details." I just laughed at her bc sweetie if you hate your job then maybe get a new one. Bc I could've been returning used products or something from Target and she wouldn't have cared. She didn't even look at the items. Then I began explaining to her that my returns had separate order numbers bc one was an online order and the other in store purchase and I started reading the new order number and She said, "I don't really need to know all of that. What's the order number" and I just laughed at her again bc had you just listened I was already giving you the order number. Then she kept saying that the order number should start with a 6 and I told her that it was online order so it starts with a 3. She was confused by this and called a manager over where he had to explain to her that the error was not the system but was in fact a user error bc the coasters I was returning were a set and not individual. So Nella, you don't even know the products, you have no idea that online order numbers start with a 3 verses store order numbers that start with a 6. Then to top it all off I asked for an email receipt and she just clicked print on her end and printed my return receipts and did not email them to me. Goodness I'm not sure how she got the job let alone Keeps it. Terrible customer service and literally does not even know the product nor the systems. Not the level of service that I would expect from crate and barrel

I have no idea what is going on in these Covid times, but the sales associates here are so extra and even more rude than usual. I wanted this cake stand and my sales associate was pushing me to take the store display that had all these scratches on it, so I asked if she could grab one in the back. Well, Karen seemed like she didn't want to, saying in a exasperated "I don't know if we have any more in the back.... I'll have to check." I knew it was gonna go downhill from here with that unnecessary attitude. Just say, no problem! And check. Is it really so hard? Indeed, it gets worse. When I asked if someone could assist with me by helping me to carry some of my purchase (I'm pregnant and want to avoid carrying some heavy items) she suggested that I do the curbside pickup in the back. I've done that before and it's hard to find parking and you have to wait super long, so I say no thanks. She insists and was pushy about it. When a customer says no, please stop being so pushy. I was going to buy two cake stands but since I have to carry it myself I stick with one. Final straw was when I saw her attempting to stuff all the items in one large plastic bag. I asked to have her put half the items in a paper bag was she really got annoyed, "I ALREADY told you we are out of paper bags" Then started scolding me about the global shortages!! First of all, I don't recall her saying that. And secondly, I didn't realize she was an economic professor on the side. Note: there is no shortages, the price of paper products has risen and it looks like Crate & Barrel is trying to save on cost by switching to non environmentally friendly plastic bags. I am so over dealing with rude sales people. I don't understand why they aren't trained properly to be nice and polite? Honestly, can they just have a few self checkouts so I can avoid dealing with such unpleasant banter. The items at C&B are amazing, but the in person shopping experience is a big fat zero.

Their delivery service is absolutely horrible. We waited over 6 months for a special order. Then their delivery vendor comes, doesn't call saying he's at the gate, and drives off after sending a text that he's leaving. Watch out for their Euromarket DB delivery vendor. Then the driver had the nerve to ignore our call and blocked us!

Our experience at this location was well worth the drive. Arraina worked with us on getting our new couch, and was extremely involved in ensuring every part of the process from an idea to delivery went smooth. Additionally, Arraina was highly knowledgeable in providing suggestions for design and even planning to ensure we had the perfect couch. Thanks for all the great service!!

Worst customer service ever. They sold me empty box of knives and just had awful attitude. Was a pain in the ass having to deal with them too. Wouldn't want to give refund. Like how do you mess up that bad and not want to make it right.

I appreciate all the safety precautions this location has in place for COVID-19. This store is so dangerous to go into because I want to buy everything! You cannot beat the quality, value, and customer service of Crate & Barrel and that's the reason why my husband and I had our wedding registry here. This location is near Rodeo Drive and there is conveniently a parking structure behind Beverly Dr. with an elevator that takes you directly to the storefront. Free parking for the first two hours.

This is one of the best Crate and Barrel stores. More convenient than the Grove because of mall parking. Beverly Hills has great parking and it's usually free. The salespeople are super helpful. They helped us pick out our dining table, dining buffet, and chairs. Also worth stopping by to check on their clearance items and deals. They have them gathered on the second floor. We got lucky and scored a great deal on our dining buffet. I give it four stars because Crate and Barrel is expensive, and haven't seen any furniture stores meriting 5 stars. Overall, I like Restoration Hardware more, but it's significantly more expensive. Crate and Barrel is our #2 choice - great items but still expensive.

Nice store ! Love the items. STAFF , not so friendly. Just off putting vibes. When asking questions , there was like NO effort into assisting. Will just go to another location that does not come off judgy.

Extremely rude staff - can't get anyone to help, and everyone is pushy with selling. When you are in store, my best advice is to just let them know you don't need help - find what you need and order online! Had an employee snatch product out of my wife's hands! Incredible... I had to piece meal dinner plates and salad plates to complete my daughter-in -law's birthday present of Dover Snowflake dinner plates and salad plates. I used the following locations Hollywood, CA, Clybourne and Halsted and Naperville, Illinois. Each and every store employee was knowledgeable and helpful.
