The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We hit traffic and got there for pickup of an online order right when the store was closing. They still helped us get the order and were very nice about it. Much appreciated!

We purchased a solid wood dining table, and in less than a year, the surface has cracked in two locations: one 16 " split between two wood pieces and another 6" within a wood piece. We talked with the rep and store manager, and they considered this to be "natural" behavior of wood and did not offer a solution. Oh, they sent us a link to "Beeswax Polish" to help with this!

Cannot say enough good things about this crate and barrel. Every time I go I am given excellent service and the shop staff are so kind to my customer toddler son who loves riding the escalator. We were there Friday night buying an eight piece dinner set and I was so impressed by the kindness and efficiency of everyone who helped us. Thank you for helping our family to make a home!

The shopping checkout experience yesterday afternoon was very disappointing. An older female cashier had a very bad attitude, no greeting and a cold attitude. There was something wrong with the cash register and the checkout couldn't be completed smoothly. We tried several times. It's actually not our fault. She was very impatient and had a bad attitude. Even my eleven-year-old daughter felt her rudeness. This was a very bad experience. I feel it is necessary for me to raise this issue and let the management know about it and strengthen training.

Helped son and future daughter in law choose items for their wedding. Staff was off the charts helpful. The store is beautiful and I wanted to buy everything in it.

My parents went in to buy an espresso machine at the Burlington location. When they bought the breville espresso machine, the sales asscoiate Noreen told them that they can return their item within 30 days and recieve a full refund in cash since they paid in cash. That same week we try out the machine and it is defected, so we go back to Crate & Barrel at the Burlington location to return the item. When we arrived we spoke to Brenda, and she was very kind. She was honest saying that she's new and does not know the policy for returns. So we ask for the manager. The manager, Vanny, comes over and tells us that we cannot receive a full cash refund. We were surprised because Noreen had told my parents that they would recieve a total cash refund. There were no signs in the store with the description of the return policy. Vanny the manager stated that it is written on the receipt and that we should have read it. It does not make sense to inform your customers after purchasing a product that they would not recieve a full cash refund after buying the item in cash. It is a scam for them to be doing that to customers. While vanny was trying to figure out how to complete the return, the woman at the next register her name is Lydia, gave major attitude towards us. She kept saying that we were stupid to not read the receipt. I think it is absurd to have rude and miserable employees at the cash register. Vanyy the manager finally figured out how to make a return on the computer. She gave us $100 back in cash, $118 back on a credit card, and $100 on a check which we still have not yet recieved. It is outrageous that we had to receive three different forms of payment when we only paid in cash. We paid in cash so we expect cash back if the item is returned. This place needs to get it together and hire employees that are honest and respectful. We will never be going back after this awful experience.

Yelp
I have been going to this store for more than 12 years now. The customer service has always been consistently good. On busy days, it can be a little to find help on the floor, but once you do, they really go out of their way to make sure you are helped. They always have very good collection in store for kitchen items ranging from serve ware, cookware, hosting, holiday collection and so much more. The location is great, with lots of free parking and easy access to/from the interstate.

Yelp
Have purchased furniture and other household items from this store over the years. I love Crate and Barrel for it's simplistic style and high quality items. Most recently I placed and order online and selected this store for pick up. I received an e-mail letting me know when the items were ready. The lady at the entrance helped with having someone bring the order down. Took less than 2 minutes. Service was extremely courteous, friendly and I feel like they often go over and above from a service perspective.

Yelp
I am a 2024 September bride, dealing with the chaos of the countdown. Our registry is through Crate & Barrel, which we registered with this past winter. I was informed this past July, through my snooping that our flatware had been discontinued. Needing me to call the costumer service line, listening to automated robots, and connecting through departments. I finally just caved and came into our home store in Burlington, where manager Kate and her team assisted us. I will never NOT rave about this store and their people. Thank you so much for your understanding, love, and assurance in getting our FLATWARE figured out. When in doubt, go to the store !

Yelp
I came in this past Sunday to exchange a wedding registry item that was received broken and order a couple items. The gentleman "Justin C" that helped process our exchange was very pleasant and efficient. "Lenny R" later helped me order a couple more items and she was also super helpful and sweet. Upstairs we looked at an upholstered storage bed. The woman assisting in the furniture department was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the beds were only available in very limited fabric options so we did end up purchasing a bed at West Elm later that day but the woman at Crate and Barrel was much more helpful than the people at West Elm!

Yelp
This place blows, no its not because your asian or whatever, it just sucks. I will spare all of you a long story and give you some advice to save money, time and sanity. If you see something you might like at the shop or online, go in and check it out. Then proceed to buy it online and apply whatever savings you can at check out. You will know exactly what you get and exactly the amount paid for it. Especially if it is a custom order or not in stock! Saleswomen will make every mistake in the book from incorrect emails to unapplied discounts to the wrong items. Want to wait 8-12 weeks to get the wrong item? And all they will offer in return are apologizes, probably like the one below... Don't waste your time.

Claudia C.

Yelp
Once again, I placed an order on line for pick up in the Burlington store and once again, I am disappointed. In the past, items have been repeatedly missing from my order. After calling the store, I would have to make a second trip to pick up missed items or wait to have them shipped to me. This time no boxes were provided. I had specified individual boxes with my on line order and there should have been three boxes included. I had sent my husband to pick up the items and he didn't know to check. The items were purchased as a gift. I had no time to return to the store to get the boxes. So I had to give the gift wrapped in a plastic crate and barrel bag ( because I didn't have a box big enough). The gift looked cheap. I'm just so frustrated. This must be the fifth time I've been inconvenienced. Are you kidding me? Moral of the story, assume orders you pick up from the Burlington store will be wrong. Don't leave the parking lot until you check everything.

Yelp
This place makes me want to sell various items in my house to justify shopping here more often. Of course, I'd better get a good return on the sales if I want to buy anything upstairs. I do like their downstairs inventory, particularly the better quality appliances and kitchen supplies (I hope your favorite color is white). I've gotten a few items here that I've had a hard time finding anywhere else. But in many cases, it is worth shopping around to see if you can get the same item using a sale discount or a coupon elsewhere. The upstairs feels kind of like IKEA on steroids. You can get some really nice items, if you're not on a budget. Personally, I can't justify a 4-digit dollar value for shelving. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and not too intrusive, which is what I like, personally.

Sara W.

Yelp
The low rating is because your store hours are listed incorrectly online and in the voicemail when you call the store. Both online and via phone state the hours are 11am - 5pm daily. When I arrived at 11am on Sunday the sign on the door says 12pm open on Sunday. Please update your store hours.

Yelp
Absolutely the pinnacle of style and still remains in that position after all of these years. This location is a separate gigantic property of its own in the Burlington Mall parking lot and is two floors of just everything from furniture to home items, kitchen items etc. The staff here is very helpful and friendly and recommends various items for the home. The prices are of course very steep, however the quality is tremendous and that out weighs the price tag!
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
The customer service here is horrible. On two separate occasions, I've had managers be argumentative when I wanted to make a return of broken merchandise or product that was shipped to me in the wrong color. I recommend that you don't bother visiting this store, and simply shop online.

Yelp
We came here the Saturday after Christmas, and it was a complete madhouse. They had some great sales going on and a huge selection, which are pluses, but we were there to create our wedding registry. Sure, it might not have been the best day to do it, but we were hoping for a little bit more help than we received. It took us about 10 minutes to corner an employee to get her to tell us how to begin. Seriously, it was like playing a video game - dodging shelves and displays trying to snatch someone in a red apron before someone else got to them. Craziness. If the circumstances were different - if we weren't registering for our wedding gifts and if it was any other time of the year - I would have loved this store. Two floors, beautifully arranged, huge selection... But as it was, we didn't have such a great time here.

Yelp
The merchandise is amazing. Top quality items. The prices are insane! I found a large painting that I loved, shelled out 500$ for it and I am willing to admit that it was sort of a impulse buy. The customer service sucks! Like numerous others have mentioned in their reviews, the workers there just don't seem to care. Perhaps as Janet G pointed out.. maybe it was because I'm "asian" and "alone"? Who knows. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Being generous with 2 stars because I like Crate & Barrel I came here yesterday to buy silverware. First half hour I was circling the table trying to decide which to pick. The couple was being helped. No one asked if I wanted help, which was ok..since I was still deciding. I walked away and came back...another couple was being helped. They left, and it was just me..still no one to help me. Finally I decided what I want. Another couple came by looking. Sales lady goes up to the couple and asks if they need help. They say no, she walks away. Umm...hello! I'm here too!! So I walk over to the sales lady who had walked away and say, "Can I get some help?" Its not like I could have helped myself anyway..since the silverware was stocked in the drawers. So I wonder...was it because I'm Asian? because I was by myself and not in a couple? Or because I looked young? Ironic thing is that I came right when they were about to open, and they were having a staff meeting outside ..encouraging the employees to be helpful despite the sidewalk sale that was going on (even though the sidewalk sale was tiny). "Business as usual" someone said. Hmmm....

Yelp
Crate and Barrel would get a 1 if it weren't for their great customer service. Here's why (it's a bit of a rant, so beware). I just outfitted an apartment here in Boston and bought a bunch of things from Crate and Barrel. Most everything was satisfactory and somewhat reasonably priced for what you get. However, I have had many issues with the Boulevard bed. Listen: About 10 days before moving to Boston I arranged to pick up the bed from Crate and Barrel. I scheduled to pick it up on my way into Boston. I specifically requested that it be inspected as I did not want to have to lug a queen bed back there. I made all of the arrangements through the store manager. When I went to pick it up I asked the loading dock guy if it had been inspected. He said that they don't inspect assembly items... Whatever, right? I wasn't in a position to refuse it as I needed a bed. I get the bed back to my place only to find that one of the metal cleats that joins the side boards to the footboard simply wasn't there. It hadn't been knocked off, damaged, etc. It simply wasn't there. So I had to wait about a week for them to send a replacement bed. Again, I demanded that they inspect it this time. The manager said that they would... The second bed finally gets delivered and I notice that the boxes had not been re-sealed (indicating that they didn't inspect the bed this time either). Irritated, I informed the delivery persons that the bed was supposed to have been inspected. They said they didn't know anything about that... Again, I wasn't in much of a position to refuse the bed as I had been waiting long enough for a bed and figured that I'd have to have the worst luck in the world for something to go wrong again. Well, something did go wrong... again. The damn bed squeaked like crazy. The slats were warped in a way that my simple tossing and turning at night would make the bed squeak (slats were rubbing against the side boards). I struggled with it for a week or so and then finally called the store to enquire whether this was how the bed was supposed to behave. The store manager was quick to agree that something was wrong and scheduled to have another bed delivered. This time they would send couriers that would assemble it for me. About a week later I think I finally have my bed in working order. It was a hassle and a half, but here's the point: as far as this particular Crate and Barrel store is concerned I was pretty happy with how they handled things. The store manager was always very understanding and polite and quick to schedule the replacements. The new bed that came today was brought in and assembled by experienced couriers. At first they tested my current bed. This irritated me somewhat as I felt as if they were suspicious that I may have damaged the bed or failed to assemble it properly. However, after inspecting it they concluded that the joints had been assembled improperly and were quick to assemble the new bed. They also used some higher quality screws than what came with the bed and did something to the cleats to make sure they fit snugly. Conclusion. Crate and Barrel obviously has some serious communication and manufacture issues. That said, their customer service (at least at this particular location) is very good. If you're as unlucky as I was at least they'll be responsive and will get things straightened out. I'll update if I have any more issues with the bed, but it looks and feels as if everything is in order (finally).

Yelp
I went here to buy a new dining room table. Let me just say that Susmita made the whole experience just great. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and never pressured us into anything. Our experience was so good, that we specifically went back to her, when we wanted to buy our new bed from C&B. Private parking lot and entrance means you can come and go and never deal with the mall itself which is a big plus. There isn't much else to say, we all know what C&B is, Susmita just made it a great experience for us, twice. Will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I HATE that they moved to a new seperate building!!! This used to be a favorite place to browse back when it was in the mall itself. You lose a star for doing that C&B!!! But still it's one of my favorite stores around. Giving someone a gift from here is always a big win. People see the box with it's handle and very speicifically taped surface and go "Oooooo!!!!!". The new place has overpriced furniture. Yippee. The new place is definitely much larger and still nice to browse. I just hate the new location.

Yelp
I love this store! The exterior of the stand alone building is visually appealing, as is the interior, with lots of windows and natural light. It's a dangerous place to visit as I can never seem to walk out of there empty handed! Parking is very easy, because they have their own separate parking area.

Taylor R.

Yelp
I loved this store. They had a beautiful and reasonably priced selection of kitchenware. I would also like to add that we received wonderful customer service from Laurelyn. She went out of her way to make sure that we found what we needed. She was very good at her job, and extremely friendly to customers. I was really quite impressed, and we really appreciated it. I hope Crate and Barrel will acknowledge what a great employee she is. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This enormous facility opened recently in the parking lot of the Burlington Mall where its original location started. I enjoy perusing the immense collection of glassware and kitchen gadgets on the first floor and on the second floor, the house furniture. Their color themes change often with each passing season. The designs are neat and clean; however, lacking in that creative touch. Overall, their style is really safe and can be quite boring. Bonus: The bathrooms on the second floor are really clean with a modern touch. I love its sinks!
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
I love C&B. If only I could afford more at C&B. Amy was very helpful in explaining our options for furniture and fabrics for our new house. Some of the items we might actually end up with eventually. This location is huge and even has a real patio to display the outdoor furniture. What a smart feature.
google avatar

Leo F.

Yelp
I visited this for the first time today as I usually wouldn't wander outside of the main mall building just for this. This place turned out to be unexpectedly nice. The pathways were just the right size for walking and everything is well organized. The second floor was all furniture but they all seem too pricey for me based on the material versus cost ratio. I was expecting to find a pizza cutter in their clearly marked pizza section but unfortunately didn't find it. However, I did find a great selection of 18oz cups/mugs.

Yelp
The store in Burlington is clean and always neatly put together. It is slightly unorganized by other stores standards but you can find items quickly. They are organized by cups and bowls, appliances, smaller kitchen cooking or baking items and furniture. I purchased table here several years ago and it is still in very good condition. The quality is generally good and the selection is current with the best stuff on the market. The service is a little slower and not as helpful and cordial at this particular location and that is why I rated a 2 star. They can use an improvement on the customer service side here.

Yelp
Locked in the Cranbury Nj Crate and Barrel warehouse I went to pick up my furniture at the crate and barrel warehouse in Cranbury nj. I was let in by a lady and asked to wait in a room that was locked from the outside. Realized that only after she left. I waited for 50 mins before realizing that she had apparently left without letting anyone know that I was there. I finally banged on the door for 20 mins before someone heard. Apparently the lady who let me in and locked me into that room just left according to the manager. this is totally unacceptable and creepy. I could have been there all night locked in the warehouse without any help. Creepiest experience of my life

Kathleen M.

Yelp
I bought the Clairemont coffee table from this store a few months back. Although my table doesn't get much wear and we are careful with coasters, there are scratches on the glass top already. I could deal with that and eventually get a new piece of glass, but the bottom mirrored glass now has some scratches, too! I can't replace the mirrored antiqued looking glass bottom! This table is $699 and I would think that better quality glass would be used as this price point. When I called Crate and Barrel and explained my situation to a manager, she could only offer to return my coffee table and have me charged a re-stocking fee! If I could give her zero stars, I would!

Yelp
If you like nice & moderately expensive stuff, this is one of the finest retail stores you can shop at. It's on par with a Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware in my opinion.

Yelp
Great new items and seasonal things. Good prices. Pretty store with a clean layout. Awesome selection!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty typical for a Crate and Barrel. The store is set up in a manageable way with things clearly labeled and very useful staff wandering around. Our lady was quite a talker, but nice and helpful

Yelp
Great customer service experience at the Burlington store but not happy with corporate online experience. Tried to write a fair 3 star review of their Side Chair with Slipcover and it got rejected twice. Was simply stating to expect their washable slipcovers to shrink even when you follow their instructions. Mine did, twice, and you can see the legs. Now I'm not surprised that very few of their items are rated on their website. Not cool Crate & Barrel!!

ChianWen T.

Yelp
In the past I would have called this building ugly but now I have come to appreciate that sort of mod European architecture. I love how they have incorporated the balcony into being part of the showroom. Sure Crate & Barrel is a chain, doesn't mean that it lacks taste. It has plenty of that. This place is porn for me. I seriously needed to change my under...... Most of the stuff is out my price range but I did see a really cute white wool rug (3x5, $200, still expensive but will be perfect in my room) which I plan to purchase once I am completely settled in my new place. Visually, the store is a treat. I recommend a visit even if you are not in the market for household things. It's like going to the museum.

Yelp
We attended a registry event in preparation for our upcoming wedding. For anyone who remembers their first visit to a Crate and Barrel or any store of home goods you know how overwhelming it can be. The service and guidance mixed with just the right amount of wandering on our own.. we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to get back in for a second lap around!
google avatar

Yelp
Went their to get a bridal shower gift. It was very convenient, you print out the registry, tell them what you want, and the get it all for you. Great service but the prices on most of the items there is absurd.

Yelp
Beautiful things! Ugly customer service! My wife loves this store she always buys things there. Recently I had a horrible experience with the the Burlington MA location, where we spent over $3.500,00 in furniture and the only request we had was that the furniture had to be delivered on 05/01/12 because we shipping everything to Brazil. The sales person who "took care" of everything checked in the system and told us that everything would be available late April and could be delivered without a problem on 05/01/12. Well, 2 days before the delivery I get a ca confirming my delivery, first she put up the wrong address on the invoice, second she scheduled the sofa to be delivered on May 1st as we agreed but she scheduled the the 2 chairs to be delivered on May 08 even after we made very clear our date issue. When I called the store she reply saying that the two chairs were not for sure be available on May 1st. I'm so mad, she is totally lying and her manager is also believing on her and not on us. Why would I buy 1 sofa and 2 freaking chairs if they would not be delivered on the date I needed! I'm disgusted right now! They say the will have the chairs delivered on May 08! They're lucky is too late for me to find another 2 chairs to match the sofa in a such a short notice!!!

Lauren K.

Yelp
I've been to this location a number of times, and after reviewing terrible customer service multiple times I felt I should post. Crate and Barrel is a lovely store, but every time I go to check out at this location, the store employees chatter to each other for a minute until even greeting me, then proceed to ask if I need help (yes, that's why I waited in line). They are rude, curt, and act as if you're inconveniencing them by being in the store. The ladies tend to be middle age and should have learned proper manners by now. Go to another location if you can.

Laura C.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would. If you are getting married and considering setting up a registry at crate and barrel, all I can say is DON'T DO IT! Unfortunately I did and after the wedding needed to return some items. I went to this crate and barrel to do it. Mind you I had all the original receipts for the items. Very long story short, when I returned the items there was a discrepancy between the amount of money we were owed and the amount we were issued. Manager (her name is Jessica F.) couldn't (wouldn't take the time to) figure out why. We figured it ourselves manually that the discrepancy was because they weren't refunding us the tax paid on the items. Again, we had all the original receipts and all items had been purchased within the 90 day window requirement to get tax back as stated by MA state law. Manager says she can do nothing for us and gives us a customer service number to call (which turned out to be wrong). I find and call the right customer service number, much discussion. They tell me I need to resolve it with the store or call another customer service number they give me. I do both. Other customer service number is the president's office. They are very nice, tell me they will resolve my issue by the end of the day. They never call back. I call the C&B store I returned the items to originally. Much discussion with the manager on duty. She looks into our transaction and consults with the manager that returned the items - turns out the original receipts were not scanned when the return was made. This is why we were not getting the tax back. First WHAAAT?? How does a manager forget to scan receipts when making a return??? And fail to realize this when a discrepancy comes up - IN THE TAX? Second WHAAAT!?!?!?! The manager that performed the return claims that I didn't give her the original receipts. THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE. Manager I am talking to tells me that what "she can do for me", is issue a shop card for the amount of the tax not refunded, which is "not their policy since I didn't have the original receipts" but she doesn't want me "to be frustrated by my experience" so this is what she's willing to do for me. Lady, (her name is Patty) you're not doing me any favors, don't act for a second like you are. What you are actually doing is giving me the money I was rightfully due, ignoring the fact that not only is your other manager too incompetent to scan receipts correctly, she is lying to you and me, and, most upsetting, you are being incredibly disrespectful of the fact that it took me 3 hours to get to the point where refund my money! If you actually cared about maintaining customers, the very least you could have done is offer a discount coupon for my time or trouble but instead you just condescended to me. I am hopeful at best that C&B actually sends me a Shopcard for the amount due. You have lots of choices about where to register for your wedding gifts. Don't discount the time that bad customer service will cost you during the already time consuming process of managing your wedding registry. Crate and Barrel's customer service just IS NOT up to snuff. I'm just writing about my experience at this store in particular because it went above and beyond awful, but we've had problems at other C&B stores during this process as well. And don't just take my word for it, there are many others who have had bad experiences with the customer service at C&B: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Crate_and_Barrel. We've had a GREAT experience with Amazon.com, and have yet to encounter problems with Macy's or Williams Sonoma. If you must register at Crate and Barrel, then at the very least, just steer way clear of this Burlington location and of Patty and Jessica F.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I am shocked by the level of customer service and lack of knowledge that I experienced here. Months ago, I saw two pieces of furniture that I loved at this store. I explained that I wouldn't be ready to purchase for another few months, and I asked whether they would still have these pieces in a few months. I explained that if there was any risk that the pieces would no longer be available, I would have purchased them right away. The associate ASSURED me that it's one of their best selling sets, and there was absolutely no chance that it wouldn't be available in a few months. The associate also told me about a 15% new mover's coupon that would also be available when I was ready to purchase. About 1.5 months ago, I returned to the store to place my order. The associate informed me that my coupon had expired a week earlier and they had to wait to hear back from corporate on whether they can apply it. OVER A MONTH LATER, they still had no answer for me, so I finally went to a different Crate and Barrel store. There, they informed me that the associates should have been able to apply the coupon when I attempted to make my purchase because it had expired so recently (but now, due to the time waiting on their response, it was too late). Finally, after almost 1.5 months of waiting to hear back and following up on the 15% discount, I went in to place my order. Low and behold, the items were no longer available, possibly due to the extra 1.5 months that it took to receive an answer. There are a number of things the associates and store management could have done to fix this through every step of the process, and they handled it terribly. As a result, they have lost a customer and I will never make a purchase from Crate and Barrel.

Yelp
I am reviewing just on this location. It was my first time driving there (we recently moved to the north shore) and I needed to return some things off my wedding registry. I went in and explained to the rude saleswoman that I did not have receipts since they were wedding gifts. We got some plates that we are not going to end up using. We moved, and in the move from being in storage for so long they ended up getting really dusty. So I put them in the dishwasher. I explained this to to the woman. She starts getting really rude saying "We can't take these back, they have been used" Uh, no they haven't. I washed them. "Would you buy dishes that someone put in the dishwasher?" Uh, yes I would, it is not like WE ATE OFF THEM. So then the manager comes over. "We can handle dust. I will tell you what, I will take back the plates that still have the price sticker on them." So let me get this straight, you will SELL plates to people that are covered in dust but not ones that I cleaned in the dishwasher? I told him to give me back the 2 plates he was going to refund me for, which WERE IN THE DISHWASHER too. I have to say I love Crate and Barrel but this was not acceptable. I went back in to buy some pasta bowls after dropping off my plates and I dealt with 2 different employees who were a lot nicer. I did walk by the rude saleswoman again who says to me "Aren't you tired?" YES. I am tired. Tired that I drove all the way here to deal with you.

Yelp
I really, really love Crate & Barrel. I came here to pick up a few household items for my new condo. The sales person told me I could use one of their scanners to create a house warming gift registry. I didn't realize it, but creating a registry with Crate & Barrel entitles you to a 10% off completion card that's good for 6 months. Basically, if I need something... I can buy it with a discount using the card and it includes sales item too. I found the staff very helpful, and I'd come here again.

Yelp
I had to attend three showers and two weddings and shopped at the Crate & Barrel for many gifts. The registry was helpful, but the ladies who work there were truly awesome. They made everything so easy for me with great ideas and helped me find all the items. Then, they carefully boxed every gift and labeled each item perfectly. The prices were very reasonable and I usually walked out of the store with something for myself OOPs!!! Anyway, I had a great shopping experience.

Yelp
Okay, I usually like this overpriced store b/c of the quality; can't bash the taste - I like it. CAN bash the manager, Patti and her 'office' staff. Since I have only done this once (and will never, ever, ever do it again,) I have to say DO NOT SPECIAL ORDER from this store. Why? Because when they say 4-6 weeks (and haughtily say under their breath it's more like two), they don't tell you that it is in their humble opinion that a manufacturer should take 4-6 weeks. And when it does take more than 6 weeks and you have to repeatedly call back to get an answer and they say someone will call you back and doesn't......that is NOT good customer service. C&B - don't make me sweat it! I paid waaaay too much $$ to sweat something like that. Live up to the reputation that your hard-working founders have made for themselves - do not sully it with your b.s. and run around talk. Tell it to me straight - I wear big girl panties and hoped that you would too.

Yelp
I would like to give the store a good review. I'm a big fan of Crate & Barrel in general and have shopped here and at other locations for years but never made a large furniture purchase until June of this year. Where do I start? I was told 8-10 weeks for my sofa and 9-11 weeks for my chair. I shopped in the store for my sofa, was sent home with a fabric sample in the wrong color, though labeled in the color I wanted (luckily I checked the back of the sample) and this caused confusion when I went in to actually order the sofa. That was problem one. Problem two is that I heard NOTHING from the store after ordering-for a long time. NOTHING! I finally called in the middle of August around the 8 week mark to learn that my sofa had been in for a while but no one had called me b/c my chair was not slated to come in until October 3. October 3?! That was well beyond the window of time I was originally given for delivery. And they were going to make me wait an additional 7 weeks while my sofa was in to NOT receive it b/c THEY WERE RECEIVING THE CHAIR IN LATE?! What world is this? I was then told that I could pay a delivery fee to get my sofa but they wouldn't deliver it for free until my whole order was in (I spent a certain amount to get free delivery). I said, I will need to speak with a manager. A manager then called me and tried to blame the late chair on me and my confusion over the fabric sample. I said, that was for the sofa, not the chair but nice try. She FINALLY comped the delivery for the sofa since she did acknowledge the chair was late. My sofa was delivered and it is gorgeous so I have no complaints about the product. Fast forward to today, which is now 12 weeks and 3 days since I ordered my chair. I called the store to see, where are we on this chair? The person at the store said the chair is slated to arrive October 3 but it might be in a warehouse next week so I should call back. My bottom line here is I've spent something like $3500 on these pieces of furniture. I am receiving no customer service AND one of the items is late and no one is offering anything to me-no comps, no coupons, no gift cards, nothing. The woman from whom we ordered apparently has been out for a medical reason, which is unfortunate, but the store should really make sure her customers are served appropriately. Given this hassle and the length of time this has all taken, I am unlikely to order larger, pricier deliverable pieces of furniture from this location. Major fail on the customer service here.
