It’s a shame to see how the efforts of a company can be overshadowed by the behavior of some of its employees. With my purchase in hand, standing just two feet from the register, I couldn’t get the staff to even look me in the eye, despite calling out to them several times so I could pay. They eventually walked away and left me standing there with my items. Elisabeth (according to her name tag) was one of those employees. I don’t usually write personal reviews, but this experience felt truly insulting—not because I believe there was any intent to offend, but because of a clear lack of basic courtesy and professional training. Eventually, a third employee who had witnessed the entire scene came over, apologized on behalf of the others, and had to endure a scolding—right in front of me—for stepping in to assist. That said, the store itself is impeccably clean and well-organized, with a very attractive selection of products. Just choose your staff more carefully, and things will go much better.

Nice big store with a great variety of home items. Lots of beautiful furniture pieces for the inside and outside, as well as decor. Service was great but a little bit slow. The manager and employees were having off discussions about medical issues, time off requests, not allowing time off, etc. in front of us. They assumed we didn’t speak Spanish, but to their surprise we could understand everything.

Ordered item from the website and showed It was coming from the Coral Gables store in Florida shipping to Wisconsin and it comes all busted. They must have 2 year-olds that pack items in a huge box that it’s rattling all over the place. Do you know what packing and shipping means? Very Disappointed and to top it off, it’s the final clearance item can’t return it back to the store except for store credit. Their mistake and I’ve gotta pay for it. Ridiculous. The manager of that store better teach their associates to pack packages a lot better in the future. I would put eggs on the bottom of a bag and stack everything on top of them. Do you think they’ll make it?

If you're delivering to this facility, take I95 south to Ponce DeLeon, turn right onto Ponce de Leon . At the traffic circle second exit and building is straight ahead. Archouse is located on building. Go straight into garage stay to your right for deliveries.

Worst customer service. Slow staff. Quality control is bad. Left with a defective item after waiting for over 30 minutes. Went the week after to return it and the system was down. Employees and manager (Michelle) are rude and seem lost. The manager even asked why I didn’t see it was defective when they sold it to me. 🤪 There’s not one time that I go to this store and leave anything but pissed due the slow and bad service. Save time. Buy online.

A huge shout out to the staff persons at Crate & Barrel. I had pre-ordered a couple of items for pickup. I arrived at the store at 9AM as I mistakenly thought they were on holiday hours (store opened at 10AM). Despite my error, they were very gracious to accommodate me and retrieved my purchase. Over the years, I have purchased a number of items from Crate & Barrel (bed, sofa, planters, outdoor furniture). They are truly a great store.

I wish I could live in this store. Their displays are beautiful and inspiring. The employees were friendly and helpful. Their selection in the children's department was adorable. The price may seem a bit high but the quality is so good it is worth it.

We went searching for Champagne Flutes the 30th of December. The ones that we chose only were 5 left. They had several designs and plenty of them. It's a matter of preference and price. The staff knew they were out of our design, yet went to check on their storage and also, someone in the line had just returned a set of glasses. They made sure it was not our model of glass. I was impressed, because now a days that kind of service is rare. A place to shop dinnerware to your heat contend.

I like this location because it's spacious and there it's very well organized. They have a great variety of wine glassed and accessories. Glasses are a bit dusty, you can tell they dont get cleaned. The displays provide great decor ideas and color combinations. Staff is nice and always provide help and share the current promotions.

I've been coming here for a long time as I own a catering company. We always purchase our platters and salad bowls here. More recently we've begun using crate and barrel to furnish our offices and tasting room. Quality and look is always timeless and you can't beat the holiday deals they have. Lily has always been a big help for me every time I've come in over the last 3 years. More recently I've been bringing the ladies from the office to help with design and taste. Can't recommend this place enough. Great service in both in the show room and the loading dock area.

Service here is generally good and they are open way later than other stores in the shopping area (I.e. Williams Sonoma). The store is very clean and usually not sold out of anything. Just seems to be a well run store. Only reason I give four stars is because prices of any C&B are just so high overall it's hard to break down and buy much here.

Awful experience today.. just awful. I understand the store was busy but I was never greeted, acknowledged not even a smile. I found what I needed and I went to stand in line where I always stand and was yelled at because that is not where the line started, I moved to where I was told. All 3 registers were busy and I believe we waited over 15 minutes in line. When it was my turn the woman in the middle Ceci turned around and said she was leaving on break, she walks out from behind the register recognized the person behind me and said she would help her at the middle register, I turned around and said that I was first. I was finally called up to the register and she waited and took care of the client behind me. Shame on you Crate & Barrel @merrick park... such a beautiful store with awful service.

I'm not sure how the furniture buying process works in Crate and Barrel, but today was a major fail. I walked into that store with a ton of money set aside ready to put it on an entire house of furniture. I had the pieces I knew I wanted. I did my research, measured, and took pictures. I knew exactly what I wanted. I was met with the most unmotivated people who had to reference everything on a computer. Such a buzz kill. When I was finally helped or more likely me having to step in front of these people to even be acknowledged. I asked the woman about a couch she brought me to a computer and did the same thing I had already done at home. She gave me some dates that seemed pretty normal for shipping furniture. Then I asked so the only way to order is online? This question was brought forward because no one seemed interested in helping me or getting my sale. Does this place work the same as Ikea? I kinda got that feel the way she brought me up to a computer to reference what I asked. Is this a do it yourself? I couldn't give them my money if I tried. So I come home now to be greeted back into my empty apartment and feel more confused than when I walked in that store. I really don't understand. More than that the inhumanity of not being seen or received. It's such a gross feeling. So for now I feel like I'm living in a scene of pretty woman and I will return... "BIG MISTAKE, BIG MISTAKE!" I just want to shop!

The furniture is in line with my style and I purchased quite a large selection. i must warn those who do their DELIVERY is horrible And most likely you will not get your order as told or as they forgot to mention. Not worth it to me anymore. Just a warning

If they were no star that's what I would give to this location. I love crate &barrel products, but apparently they don't require good customer service at the stores. At this specific location the customer service is horrible. It's like you are invisible to their eyes. It's unfortunate the service. I rather keep buying online and they should closed down the stores. I just had a terrible experience with Diana, and the other employees that completely ignored that was standing there to pick up.

Merrick park store is something else not only we're the employee is from I don't know but man when she rolled her at me hey lady am not buying a lazy Susan from the dollar store it's not 1.29 it was 129.00 tap once tap twice tap three times are we tap dancing cause I wore the wrong shoes for that Them she charged $149. it's very sad people who don't want to work you can tell when you see their face. Not a good image for such a nice store. But service today seems to be a favor. Not a service.

Crate and Barrel at Shops At Merrick Park in Coral Gables is a well managed Crate and Barrel location that has many options available for quality furniture. I like their showroom and being able to see, feel, sit, and climb on the furniture before making a purchase. The staff here is very friendly and patient in making sure that you find what you are looking for. They make the purchasing and delivery process very easy here and they are well worth a visit if you need furniture.

The store opened just a few days ago. Beautiful and very spacious, the merchandising and display is top notch. If you enjoy cooking, if you love entertaining at home, or if you just love playing with different kitchen gadgets, (or just like buying cute but useless stuff...) this is a paradise. They also have some furniture for sale as well.

Hello - in November of 2020, we ordered a sectional couch. Delivery attempt #1 We were told it would be delivered by the holidays. Didn't get the couch until the end of February. While the delivery crew was unpacking the couch, several roaches jumped out from the packaging. Obviously, we refused the delivery. Called management, promised to deliver a replacement couch in 2 weeks. Delivery attempt #2 4 weeks later, a replacement couch was delivered. After the installation and a brief inspection, their several defects were identified. Crate and barrel sent an inspector. Inspector confirmed the defects and ordered another replacement couch. Delivery attempt #3 May 10, another replacement couch has been delivered only to find it that it was our original couch (with roached) packaged and shipped back to us...This is unbelievable. What kind of business Crate and Barrel is running now. Used to be a very trusted company. Delivery attempt #4 June delivery - one more couch; actually only one of the sections was delivered, not a full couch. Final delivery #5 Finally received a brand new full section couch, no roaches, no defects...thank you Crate and Barrel for the 9-month hell!!! And not to mention, leaving in the condo building, each delivery cost us $100.

Large store that takes up much of the upper level of the Village at Merrick Park. Beautiful displays, great furniture in mostly modern and mid-century modern styles. Lots of home accessories and kitchen stuff too. At Christmas time the store is really nicely decorated and they sell so many cool holiday accessories and decorations. Furniture is not super cheap, but certainly not high priced either.

Customer service is the worse!!! Stay away if you expect a good one. I order a furniture and so 08/09/20 and today is 10/13/20. So disappointed about buying here. There are so many layers is you want to escalate the problem.

After plenty initial issues with our furniture delivery and Crate and Barrel Credit Card account billing, Store Manager Luis has been very helpful, professional and has resolved most of the issues and bad experiences. Luis has shown that he truly cares about the customers. At the current time we are still experiencing some issues with the Crate and Barrel credit card account due to erroneous billing, but everything regarding the furniture has been resolved.

AVOID THE NIGHTMARE !!! I am giving this store one star because I can't give it 0. The sales people will lie cheat and promise anything to make a sale. Delivery is another thing completely. After waiting weeks with no update, I finally called a sales associate, after 7 phone calls and request for a manager, I was informed that the furniture I was promised in September, "might" actually be delivered in November. The furniture was purchased with the specific representation that it would be delivered within two (2) weeks. Now I am left with no furniture in a new apartment and need to search for a replacement. I would not be in this position if this company acted in an honest manner. GO ELSEWHERE and avoid the pain and frustration.

I purchased a sofa one year ago. I received a damaged sofa 6 months after i paid for it in full. The replacement still has not arrived. The sales people are rude, nasty and incompetent. Do not shop here the staff at other Crate and Barrel stores are much more professional and pleasant !!

Avoid this store like the plague. They promise delivery, take your money and then are constantly not available. We ordered an item that was allegedly in stock and were promised delivery in 2 weeks. The, no contact. After repeated calls where the salesperson, Larrisa, was out to lunch, with another customer, or otherwise unavailable, we were informed that it would be another 5 - 6 weeks. It is hard to believe that a national company with a long history has devolved to this level of shady business practices. BEWARE

Sometimes I wish I could just have carte Blanche on the majority of this retail heaven's many treasures. I can't help but daydreaming of the perfect living room and coffee table with endless entrecotes of perfectly placed furniture that encompass all the books and crannies of this department store. Let's face it, this place is heaven. The best dinner parties can all be sourced through items here on display. Make sure to dig for sakes, they exist. Not everything is affordable but that's just life. The light fixtures are breathtaking. Everything is so perfectly placed which really enhances your shopping experience along with the ideas of creativity flowing in your mind about what you're finally gonna do with the decor in the living room. It's an upscale spot but they have items for everyone, even if it's just an expensive pillow. After all, a pillow can do so much. Everything here is on my wish list. I like buying my champagne glasses here along with occasional bakeware and table decor to place around my house.

Good God, this place is ALREADY understaffed for the holiday season ! Supplies are low, getting items from the back to front is a moon launch and there does not seem to be a plan. Thank goodness for the pleasant and professional cashier as the floor staff is off the mark.

Absolutely horrid service. Service is being honest to your customers and not making false promises in order to make a sale. While I am completely aware of the impact that COVID has made on businesses nationwide, that doesn't excuse the lies are given on expected delivery dates. More so, hiding behind a phone as a means to not help the customer because your lies have been uncovered is absurd. We are all human beings and if C&B is unable to deliver, just say it! Don't take the money and leave questions and phone calls unanswered. If you enjoy employees that lie and an extra 6 weeks tagged on to the original delivery date of your expensive furniture, then C&B is your perfect store.

I was at Merrick Park a couple hours ago and I saw that they just opened a humongous Crate&Barrel store I used to love going to the one in The Falls but that one closed but there was a sign on the elevator that said it opened on November 13 that was a couple days ago.I can honestly say that this Crate&Barrel is amazing it's huge it's humongous and very big the staff including management has always been generous and very welcoming.Its kind of hard to say which store is better Crate&Barrel or Pottery Barn I don't know because they're both pretty much the best stores.I seldom come to Crate&Barrel even though I barely went to the Falls I would go there like every 5 months but this location is way better than the falls location when it was still open u should go

Horrible customer service. Picked up an order only to get home with an electrician waiting to find out it was an open box item with parts missing and damaged lamp. Called and kept hearing excuses and a run around on getting me a new fixture. I had to be the one to call them. They never called me back when they said they would. I am very fair but cannot stand no communication.

i will get to why i'm only leaving 3 stars. customer service: 5 stars. merchandise: 5 stars. the 3 stars goes to their policies of returns and discounts with credit cards. i went in to buy some furniture and asked about opening an account. what did i get for that? 10% off my purchase (better than nothing) BUT that 10% was a credit on my account, not to be used toward payment, and had to be used to purchase items in the store. ok, i agreed, sounded reasonable. since i have my house fairly complete and in no need of much by way of housewares, i didn't get back to c&b for a while. i noticed an email about my credit expiring, but i was away on vacation and didn't pay attention, my fault. in any event, i went over to c&b when i got back and was told the "reward points" expired 5 days before. reward points? had no idea what that was. they explained that i really didn't get a "credit" but a reward points and they expired in 90 days. i spent 25 min on the phone with someone who advised they needed to talk to the "reward point company" (not c&b???) and would get back to me in 3 days with a possible approval to give me the reward points back. that night, i ordered some things online (that i didn't need) and was able to use the reward points. now i know why people shop at macys, bloomingdales, nordstrom. i have paid off account and do not plan on using again. i do love c&b, but next time i purchase anything, it will be on my amex.
