Poor Packaging and Handling Experience Unfortunately, the item was not wrapped properly—it was only covered in a thin white plastic with no real protection. While loading it onto our own truck, the staff handled it carelessly, which resulted in a noticeable scratch on the side of the couch. To make matters worse, we had to saw part of it by hand just to cover the torn area. When we asked about returning it due to the damage, the manager told us it was a final sale. I expected much better care and customer service, especially for a large furniture purchase. The lack of professionalism in both packaging and handling was truly disappointing.

Look elsewhere for you furniture needs! I purchased couch cushions for my outdoor sofa, they send me cushions that were 4 inches wider then advertised so it does not fit my sofa. They replaced the cushions but again sent the same size that did not fit. Then instead of fixing the problem they tried to make it out to be my fault. They refuse to send me the appropriate cushions because I do not have the original order number. On their website I can see my same couch with dimensions that match my couch IDENTICALLY. Not sure why they can't send the cushions as advertised. The option they gave me is to return the cushions in person or pay 250 ( then she said she'll cut me a deal and only charge me 150). True customer service wound be giving me a refund and having the delivery team pick up my cushions without charge to customer. When you mess up OWN it.

Beautiful place but be careful buying large purchases, like a couch, from here. Had an issue with mine less than 2 years of buying it and they won’t help at all. A lifespan of a couch is more than 7 years, but their couches are awful. Cause a migraine from bad posture. The fabric looks 10 years old with washing and shaving and proper care. Had frustrating long calls with customer service, with zero help. I got a large Oceanside sectional and I tend to buy most of my furniture from cb2 and crate and barrel. Never again! I’ll be sure to spread the word with everyone I know. Guests don’t like this couch so it’s bad advertising for them I guess 😅.

My husband and I were registered at Crate and Barrel and received a $1,500 breville coffee maker that we were demo'd while shopping. The staff pressured us saying it it would be user friendly and simple to use and they all had the same one. Turns out it is not. After hours of trying, wasting multiple bags of coffee beans, coming in 3 times for tutorials, we finally gave up. We tried to return for something more user friendly and the manager would not take it back since it had been used. Our wedding guests had spent a lot of money at the store for our registry and I cannot recommend anyone else doing the same due to their nonexistent return policy. You are better off asking for cash and NOT registering here. I would expect better customer service for an item so expensive.
