I can’t recommend working with Karen Reid enough. She was a lot of fun to work with, and she wasn’t pushy at all. In fact, she told us to go do more homework and take more measurements before she felt comfortable selling us a couch. We are really excited for our couch to arrive!!

What an awesome experience! My husband and I have been searching high and low for a perfect couch. We are talking a few years in the making… anyways, our friend told us about her Crate and Barrel couch experience and so we thought we’d give it a shot. We went two days in a row and wow! Both days were amazing. The first day we had Eileen. She was fantastic! She gave us a great lay of the land and discussed each couch with great knowledge. She never once seemed frustrated with our indecisiveness! We narrowed in on one and she gave us great tips on material options as well as feet options. She gave us a quote, told us to think on it and call her with any questions. Then today we had Lauren who also works as a designer upstairs! She was incredibly helpful. My husband and I were on the fence of a few options regarding the couch we created the day prior and Lauren had great ideas. She had a vision of what the space could be for us without ever stepping foot in it! She was great. We ended up buying our creation with the help and guidance she provided. All in all we had the most amazing couch buying experience. I’m sure this could sound silly to a few folks, but custom couches aren’t cheap and it’s nice to have help that is gracious as well as knowledgeable! Thank you both!

My partner and I came in looking for dining chairs, and David was the best salesperson you could ask for. He was friendly, wonderful to talk to, and above all so helpful! He answered all of our questions, knew when to give us space to deliberate, and when we needed a little guidance. If he'd been pushier, we might have left and looked elsewhere; if he'd been more aloof, we might have bought something we didn't feel confident in. We spent over an hour going back and forth on our options, trying to decide if the most comfortable chairs would be worth the bigger investment. Not only did David never make us feel like we were taking up too much of his time, but he made the whole thing enjoyable.

It’s an elegant store, good to great quality items. But choose well and come during a sale time and have an idea of what you want by looking it up online. Careful they do offer online only so make sure. Only advice, avoid sets of knives and tools that look like one time use items.

This has nothing to do with their products. The store is clean and me and my family got dishes that we love. However, I stopped in today around 2:30-3, and there was a woman named Bonnie trying to clock out and she was having trouble. I obviously don’t know the entire situation, but from what I witnessed, Bonnie was not being treated very kindly. I wish I knew the other woman’s name, but she was almost berating Bonnie verbally. I could be reading too much into it, but Bonnie was an older woman who seemed to be struggling a bit with the technology and rather than being treated with compassion for her age, all I experienced was frustration being directed to her. Bonnie looked upset and I’m sure I am being emotional and dramatic, but I have been unable to stop thinking about the situation. I think those in charge need to have more compassion for their employees. The same woman who was being so brash was the one to help me with picking up my order, and in the middle of helping us, she took a customer phone call and demanded that another staff member assist me so she could take the call. Overall, I was upset by what I witnessed. I am still thinking of Bonnie and I hope I only imagined how upset she seemed.

I needed a few dishes for Christmas dinner, no time for shipping. I noticed that they had holiday hours opening at 8am. Located at a mall I was very happy they opened so early. I was in and out in minutes. The staff was very helpful went into stock room to find the dishes I needed wrapped carefully and on my way. I depend on this level of service and yet another reason I’m a consistent customer even though it is a 45 minute drive to this location

Do they even have competent managers? Ordered $9,000 in furniture in May from them and haven't received any of it (it's now mid-Sept). They scheduled delivery and confirmed it. Then no-show. Customer service was rude about it for their mistake! Then they rescheduled it and confirmed it. Assured 100% by two reps. It was supposed to be today... and they just cancelled it again. They have no idea when it'll be rescheduled. They say there isn't anything they can do about it. Customer service tells us to call the store. The store tells us to call customer service. They tell us to talk to their supervisors.... No one wants to own it... some blame the "system processes" and others blame computers and others blame their employees. They blame us for being mad that we don't... have $9000 of our furniture we ordered (of which all but a sectional we ordered said in-stock). The other one they have no idea... but assured us when we ordered it's be ready we'll before September.... Crate and Barrel is a mess. Terrible management. Terrible customer service.

Gorgeous products. I love their designs, the quality is great. They sell anything from dinnerware, through kitchen equipment to furniture, blankets, decor etc. During Holidays they have beautiful trees, ornaments and gadgets. I also like their seasonal tinned chocolate covered pretzels, English toffee and such..... I also particularly like their plates and glassware. Wonderful posh designs at (mostly) reasonable prices!

Customer service , sale associates, and store manager Meghan were rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, misinformed, no time to listen nor provide any solutions, condescending, loud, and just awful humans. Never ever again! If we could check -4 stars we would. Recommend not stepping a foot in this store. Self entitled. After this expletive I'd rather go to a rural Walmart, believe it or not C&B's bathrooms suck too.

We recently bought some kitchen island counter chairs from C&B. The furniture is upstairs with one main area with chairs, but some options are sprinkled throughout. The salesperson who helped us was very knowledgeable about our possible options, and she was patient and professional while she showed us and explained out choices. The chairs took a few weeks to arrive at the store, and when we unboxed them at home we discovered that one wobbled/had uneven legs. The exchange process was easy, though we are now waiting for it to arrive. (Note: the chairs were to arrive within a few weeks. It took twice as long. I finally received a voicemail that they came in. Apparently they had been sitting there for a while and no one called to let us know. So, it would be a good idea to call periodically to check on your order.)

I still think the store would work with a customer for something that didn't work a couple of weeks after purchase. If this was Amazon, they'd accept the returns. Next time I'll look in the store, but then buy online because of the better support.

I want all the things! I made the trek to this C&B recently to return some wedding presents and purchase some other items for our home. The clerk at the front processed the return quickly and explained that the amount is now on a card that thankfully won't expire. So my sister and I then began surveying the store, hopping from one inviting vignette to another. Oh, can I just live in C&B. One thing I was in particular search of was a new duvet cover. The one I registered for was not as soft as I was imagining, and I had found one online that would suit our bedroom much better. We looked through the display and couldn't find it, though. So we asked a clerk, who said that it was out of stock but might be back in soon. Bummer. We went back to the bedding area to check out a few more things, and lo and behold, we found my desired duvet plus pillowcases hiding behind some other products. The clerk was a bit baffled that the store computers didn't show they had it, but either way, I was thrilled. My fairy godmother was looking out for me that day. C&B has so many charming items for pretty much any room in your home. Their holiday offerings also always draw me in. Besides bedding, my other favorite department is the dining ware. I registered and received four white serving platters that I'll show off and use for years to come. The items are a bit pricey, but from my experience, they are good quality. And if you go for something more classic, they will defy trends, always fitting in with your decor. This store is full of home goodies and is impeccably clean. Looking forward to going back soon and using my remaining balance on my gift card.

Horrible return policy. Costco is so much better. We bought a $600 Espresso machine. Tried it ONE time and the espresso was just really mediocre . We wanted to return it and get a much more expensive one but since we had used it they would not take it back. We really made a mistake as the prices here are much higher than other places but we trusted their reputation. Unfortunately we had been used to Costco and this was our mistake. Never again.

Crate & Barrel always has something interesting, whether it's for the kitchen, the dining room, or the living room. I've found some bargains, although they have been few. The glassware and kitchen gadgets are great. Many times, like today, I found some fresh, unique style of dinnerware. Even things like mixing bowls are special to the company. Part of the reason I like their products is because they have been interesting for my food photography. This store seems a bit squeezed, but it's quite nice. It would be better as part of the mall, since its strip mall isn't fully occupied and of course, getting there during the cold weather would be less convenient, although during Christmas, you'll probably be parked that far out. I really wish the furniture was more competitively priced. Others have come up with similar designs and they're available at a fraction of the price--probably made in the same factory. At least, it's not cheap junk. It seems to be high quality. My floor lamp certainly survived an 1100 mile trip. As long as they keep it interesting, I'll continue to return to shop.

I love Crate & Barrel's selection. They carry tons of neat things, ranging from cookware to bar ware to furniture to fun seasonal items, like the current collection of Christmas ornaments. This is a good location, even though you have to deal with the traffic and parking craziness around Kenwood Towne Centre to get there. This is a two-story C&B, with most of the furniture upstairs, and all of the fun kitchen gadgets, bar stuff, bakeware, and tablescape set-ups on the first floor. They also carry a variety of packaged treats like delicious soup mixes and drink mixes, which change periodically. We had good service on our visit here - a very nice employee answered all of our questions and rang us out, carefully wrapping up the breakables.

This is literally the only store I've walked into that I would live in! They have every little want you could ever have and everything about this place is so classy. I'm not sure the name reflects the upscale vibe this place exudes but that could be to keep the undesirables out.:)They have "Scandal" glasses galore (Camille 23oz.) which I buy often for my wife so once a week she can feel like Olivia Pope and drink all my red wine in her huge fancy glass. Even the boxes they pack glassware in before you leave the store have a beautiful design. The attention to detail is ubiquitous. CB is more of a lifestyle store in my opinion. They sell really clean streamlined wares that really make you feel better about how you present your environment to folks that visit your abode. I always walk out feeling more important than when I walked in. I'm not sure how they do it but it happens....every time. This is that place you go to for a quick self esteem boost (assuming you make a purchase). Whether it's furniture or house wares, I haven't seen anything in here that I wouldn't love to own. Whoever the buyer is for this place earns whatever salary they are being paid. That's for sure! Not so humbly submitted, Michael c.

We've used Crate and Barrel for our wedding registry and for misc. other items around the house. Great prices, customer service, quality products. Of all the things we have purchased and recieved, there have only been two issues and they were fixed right away with no hassle whatsoever. A broken tv stand on opening the box was immediately replaced on return and we were sent a hand written apology in the mail w/ a $20 gift card. Our 10 month old couch began to discolor in areas. They simply had us take some pictures of the spots and replaced the entire couch no questions. They even delivered and scotch gaurded the new one and removed the old free of charge. The customer service has been above and beyond. I will be a loyal Crate and Barrel customer for a long time and will surely recommend to friends and family. Thanks.

While I really like the look of Crate & Barrel furniture, their customer services leaves a lot to be desired. I've found their attempts at service to be both flippant and feckless. When I had an issue, no effort was made to correct the issue, I was simply told "I'm sorry that is how you feel," no I'm sorry, how can I correct this issue.

My fiance and I recently registered here and we are absolutely loving on this store. The four stars is definitely for the products this store offers. Very reasonable prices on everything from kitchen gadgets to furniture. Tons of products to choose from. The customer service was decent but nothing to brag about. We've had much more attention at other places we've registered.

I was treated like a second-class citizen at this store. A man was being shown around the store by a saleswoman acting as his personal shopper. She literally pushed me away from a shelf where I was choosing dishes, pushing me sideways and putting her arm in front of my face so she could reach an item to show him. No, there wasn't an "Excuse me" or apology. I have never been treated like a second-class citizen and shoved out the way by a sales assistant for a "more important" customer in my life and I am a slim, 40ish and well dressed woman and not a kid -- although I wouldn't want a teenager on an errand there to be shoved aside either. Aside from the personal details (there was no offer of assistance in the furniture department upstairs either), I found the selection here uninspiring and similar kitchen and dining items can be found at Pier One or Bed, Bath and Beyond, Home Source, Macys et al. I won't be shopping there again -- C&B has clearly developed a culture of snooty, unhelpful sales people selling second-rate products.

We attended Crate & Barrel's Wedding Registry event, and it was such a great experience. They had a goodie bag for us, drinks, and small appetizers. The customer service there was incredible. We were able to register for over 70 products at their store. We absolutely love C&B's style and can't wait to add some more of their product line to our house. This store absolutely rocks!

Crate And Barrel has wonderful products and superior customer service. My Mom and I were in the store on "black Friday" 2013 and found all the products we needed along with great bargains. I'd like to memtion one employee who went above and beyond. When we got to the register my Mom had some problems recovering a discount from her iphone and didn't have her account information with her. Kathy made the call to receive the necessary information and she was patient and helpful as we resolved our problem. I'd like to tell Crate and Barrel to keep up the good work.
