Went to Crave tonight for a 1st visit and wow, what a great place. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter wasn't pushy and was very attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely fire. We got the Brussel sprouts and I could have stopped with those and been supremely happy. Perfectly crispy with a hint of sweetness. We shared the Classic Roll entree and it was all amazing. The rolls were well prepared and fresh. The plate setup was beautifully done, almost so pretty that we didn't want to eat it. I would absolutely go back as this was one of the best sushi places I've been to in a while.

Google
Great place for food within the city. The menu is wide and there are many options for those looking for a great dinner option. The staff there are amazing, I wish I knew the servers name but he was incredible. They are incredibly helpful and the service is very fast. Would recommend to everyone.

We enjoyed our meal and good service before a show at the State Theater. I loved the rigatoni dish and lavender champagne cocktail. Delicious and well presented. It was my birthday, so our server gave me a birthday brownie dessert with a fun firework candle.

Google
Aram gave us excellent service and the food came out super fast on a 6:30 reservation. We sat outside on the rooftop and enjoyed the atmosphere. If you want amazing service, ask for Aram!!!!

-Got shafted on the "Japanese milk bread"... sounded different and it was literally 3 dry warmed dinner rolls. Also came out late and not in pic I posted. -lettuce wrap sauce was good but chicken was dry and very very chewy. -peach Flatbread was lukewarm and the undercarriage was not really cooked or crispy. -Brussel sprouts were dope -service was OK -view was cool. Don't usually post or do reviews but was very unimpressed. Couldn't really complain or have anything remade due to time and seeing a show after dinner..

Trendy with substance to back it up. Great food, great drinks, great rooftop, wonderful service. Cristian M was an amazing server and made our night!! Crave and Cristian are the highlight to my visit in Minneapolis, thank you so much!

Google
Lovely spot in downtown Minneapolis. We can in for dinner on a Saturday night and the ambiance and service were great. We ordered the Japanese milk bread, vegan burgers, octopus nigiri and #9. The food was delicious. The only thing that was a minus was that there was no discernible difference between the truffle fries and regular fries that warranted a $4 additional charge.

Google
We had a great experience at Crave American Kitchen. The food was fantastic—especially the sushi and Brussels sprouts. Both were packed with flavor and really well done. The only thing that missed the mark a bit was the calamari; it was a little too chewy for our liking. This place is perfect for a family dinner or even a business meal with colleagues or clients. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, and the service stood out—the staff was super friendly and really on top of everything. Overall, it’s a spot I’d definitely go back to and recommend to others.

Yelp
We were able to get a same day reservation on Opentable at the exact time we needed. They seated my family near the window, which was fun for the kids to look outside while waiting for our food. The view was above looking down at the street and theaters. Ordering was quick, and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. The food taste and quality is so consistent here. We had kids' meals, and they love the mac! The adults had a sea bass meal - which is full of flavor and some delicious sushi rolls. There are so many rolls to choose from you cant go wrong.

Yelp
Let me start off with saying it was good and I think the service and food was better than most reviews because it was Valentine's Day and they had a special menu. We were late to the reservation game so this was about the only place left. They were staffed extremely well and tables were full by the time we left. On the page $139 for 2 people 3 course meal sounds like a steal but then somehow we got to a total bill of $212 (this included one $20 drink). The service was impeccable and quite magical with some of the interactive dishes (they poured the clam chowder from behind you). All the courses came out quickly, hot and well paced. Other tables were also receiving food at a stead rate. It was fun to see the wide age ranges this night pulled in from high schoolers to the married 50 years. The tables had black table cloths, fake rose pedals and a candle with real rose pedal center pieces. The food was good, not $212 good but worth it in my opinion for the service ambiance and menu variety for a pre fixe menu. The starter scallop was very good, cooked perfectly and the sauce had a nice tang and acidity. The sushi roll was soft and had good flavor held up by the peanut sauce. I love the soy paper touch - really drove home the valentines day theming. The chowder was delicious. It didn't have that much heavy cream so it was light with nice big chunks of blue crab. It was not too salty or heavy. Sort of a large portion for a tasting menu but not complaining! The steak entrée was good and huge! My bf did eat the whole thing. I wasn't a huge fan of the texture but it was cooked medium rare. The mashed potatoes were very good because they probably had a lot of butter. Very creamy and rich. The chimichurri pulled the dish together and glad they had it drizzled all over the top! The seafood risotto was good. It had a very seafood flavor that paired well with the sweetness of the seafood. I did find the dish a little too sweet and would have liked something to balance it out. The seafood portion was sooo generous. This was just packed with all the best seafood. There were 2-3 huge scallops, 3-4 shrimp and lots of lobster! The risotto was cooked aldente and it was good. Big disappointment with the pear dessert. The other choice was cheesecake which maybe would have been better or harder to mess up. The pears were too hard for me and the sauce tasted like cough syrup - it was so sweet! Could they have caramelized the pears to give some texture and flavor? The ice cream was the best part and could have just been offered on its own. This dessert was not for me. I have seen other reviews were the dessert just didn't hit the mark - maybe just stick to an entrée and that scallop appetizer!

Yelp
All of the food I tried here was delicious. The sushi quality met my standards for being decent from a perspective of good rice and fresh fish. The flatbread was delicious with a tasty sauce. the s'mores dessert was so good, I wish I had the space to eat the entire thing myself!

Yelp
We stopped in here before catching a show at the Orpheum. Couple things to know is it's downtown so you will need to pay to park and possibly walk a bit to get here. This location is large and set up well with lots of tables but doesn't feel like you are on top of each other. I've been to this location for brunch before and everything was delicious. But dinner here was not up to my expectations. We were sat quickly even without a reservation since we got there early enough and it wasn't crazy busy yet. Our server Benjamin was high energy and friendly. I asked for an espresso martini and he was excited to share a new menu with lots of variations of the drink. And the one I chose was delicious. When it came time to order food I got the chicken rosa. When the food came out it smelled delicious and I took a bite of the pasta and loved it. When it came to the chicken, it was dry and almost crunchy (and not because of the crust either) Benjamin stopped by to ask how everything was, and when I told him about the chicken he was quick to offer an alternative protein. It was great to see the employees empowered to solve for customer issues right away. I did ask to get shrimp instead and when I received those they looked fine on the top, but the backs were as burnt as the tails. I didn't feel like I should complain again, so I ate what I could. The manager Mickey also came over to check on us and was quick to notice the overcooked chicken. He did take care of my meal for us which was appreciated and checked on us a couple times. My boyfriend's food came out great and was delicious and we both liked our cocktails. It seemed like it may have been a newer staff but I was also impressed with what seemed like a large presence of management making sure things went smoothly. I wouldn't rush here again, but if you're in the area brunch would be more recommended.

Yelp
Was here on travel and had no clue what I wanted for dinner on my last evening after work. The bartender was a pretty cool dude and drinks were plenty strong. It was a pretty busy night as Hamilton was happening nearby but everyone quickly cleared out as the show was about to start. Ordered the surf and turf and it was okay. I was full from the meal but not super satisfied with the minimal amount of protein. Also ordered a bread pudding cuz I was feeling like having something sweet and it wasn't that good. It was too dense and the portion was huge. I'd go again for drinks and small bites. Not sure about another main meal.. maybe it was just what I chose to eat.

Yelp
I went downtown for a comedy show and we ate at Crave across the street from the Orpheum. It was very convenient but a little hard to find at first. The ambiance was very dark and upscale dinner vibe. The service was great! They were very attentive. We ordered appetizers and they were all delicious! I thought 3 apps were enough for 2 people. Would recommend the egg rolls, they were my favorite! I would go back!

Yelp
I recently went here for a Fliphone Events Drag Brunch. Unfortunately my frittata was pretty awful. It was pretty juice but overall lacked flavor. The swiss cheese sauce pretty bland and frankly me a little pukey. The truffle fries were fine, wished they had a bit more flavor. I want to give a shout out to staff. Food was out quick and staff were extremely friendly. I appreciate how hard they were working before and during the show. I just ordered the wrong thing! Notes: *I actually found closeby street parking!

Yelp
To get to the restaurant itself was a little chaotic. There was no clear indication, like a sign that only the roof top was open. I didn't mind but when I reached the first level I thought the place was closed down. The service was decent. Seem like they were just there. I sat at the bar and they usually are high energy but... I guess there exceptions to every rule. The crab cakes were okay. I would've preferred them with the actual sauce drizzled across the top. The sauce is what really make the crab cakes worth eating if I'm being honest. The surfer roll, very tasty, the tuna on top was questionable not sure it was as fresh as I would've liked the texture was off without a doubt. I also ordered a lavender champagne cocktail, EKKKKK! Not my favorite. Last call was at 8:50, I made a reservation for 8:15, so I really didn't get the chance to eat like I wanted to. But from my assessment I don't know if I really missed out on anything. There was an extremely obnoxious guy across from me. EWWW! He killed the vibe of the whole place.

Yelp
We stopped in before a Timberwolves game. It was very busy so it was good to have reservations. We shared the sushi boat. It was a lot to eat for three people. Since I'm not a sushi expert, I have to admit I'm not even sure what was in the boat but it was beautifully presented and I tried most of the options and liked them all, both cooked and raw fish. We also shared a side of Parmesan fries and edamame. All the food was excellent. Our server was excellent. It was extremely busy and unusually hot in there the night we visited. Apparently the door to the rooftop was open because of a broken elevator and because the night was so warm, it was raising the temp of the restaurant. Anyway, not a permanent 'feature' and after our loooong Mn winter, I'm not complaining about the heat.

Yelp
16 PAGE M E N U Great location for someone going to the Orpheum Theater. Which is what we did to celebrate my daughter's Birthday. And yes, we got the obligatory birthday dessert, a yummy brownie w/ice cream/whipped cream/sprinkles concoction. Crabcakes were done perfectly for me. Steak medallions for bday girl were good, traditional poke bowl was fresh, and the Ninja roll was sushi. Outstanding beverages: Lavender Champagne Cocktail was Amazeballs! $19.95 A "smoked" Manhattan made for a showy presentation. Smoked under glass until it arrived at the table. $17.95 Plus 2 bottles of Cashmere Red @ $50 ea SURCHARGE $13.78? The renovations were so complete that you could not tell it was once the Palomino! Nice Wine cooler right in the middle of the Floor. But...... Staff was friendly, attentive, well groomed, and johnny on the spot. However, fine dining skills were lacking. I don't think that they had ever been completely trained in. Or maybe classy service is not popular anymore? Oh wait, class never goes out of style!! Yelp
The ambiance on the rooftop is 10/10 on a beautiful summer evening, but the food is entirely average. I've never had an experience at any Crave that made me want to of out of my way to come back, but it's an easy place to pop into after a night in downtown. The Brussels Sprouts were actually quite delicious, but my Margherita flatbread tasted like cardboard and my boyfriend's pasta was flavorless. In my opinion, this is a place worth coming to for a quick drink and a nice rooftop, but not worth an entire meal.
google avatar

Yelp
We dined at Crave tonight for a birthday celebration, I've ordered the Lobster Mac & cheese before and loved it, lots of lobster and very flavorful. Tonight was ok but not as easy as in the past and it actually was a bit more runny. Flat bread was good, not best I have ever had but tasty enough that I would order again sometime. Great atmosphere and awesome service for our large party. They automatically add 20% gratuity I guess for bigger parties.

Yelp
After reading the 3 star reviews, I thought twice about eating here but I'm so glad that I did. We made a reservation for the rooftop at 7pm and just caught the sun before it started to lower. The rooftop was clean and our server quick to greet us. Our large party ordered a variety of dishes from sushi rolls to beef medallions (amazing house steak sauce), as well as several cocktails. Our dishes were beautifully prepared and very tasty. I will say it was the most expensive martini I've had ($18) and was NOT spectacular. I couldn't capture photos of everyone's dishes but we left satisfied.m with their meals. The average cost of our dishes was about $20. Note: If you are from out of town, there are several surcharges added to the bill, one of which is to support employee wellness.

Yelp
I came here with a work friend while I was in town. He apparently comes here often and likes it, so while I looked at the menu, I didn't check Yelp and the three-star rating. Probably a good thing as I might've suggested someplace different. We showed up just before our reservation time, and table seating was full, probably due to Wicked across the street and a K-Pop concert starting soon next door. We ended being seated at the sushi bar. Service was a bit slow and a little sporadic, but they were busy, so I'll cut them some slack. I guess they don't drink much iced tea up here because the server had a hard time digging up any type of sweetener. The appetizer of edamame was quite good, and I thought the Chilean sea bass was a nice cut and also cooked perfectly. My friend got the lobster Mac and cheese. I can't say it looked like one of the better lobster macs I've ever seen, but he enjoyed it and certainly didn't complain. The food isn't particularly inexpensive as it ended up over $100 combined, and neither of us had any alcohol. All in all, however, fairly decent food.

Yelp
I came to CRAVE for a rooftop drag brunch which was awesome, the performers were very fun and engaging and everyone in the crowd was loving the show. Additionally, their rooftop is super cute and has a nice bar in the center. All the staff were super friendly. As part of the show, all guests were required to order a brunch entree. Their menu was huge and most of the dishes were not brunch which was nice for me because I wasn't in the mood for traditional brunch. I ended up opting for the chicken stir fry which was pretty decent. The flavor was pretty good, the portion was huge, and a good balance of vegetables and chicken. For me, there could have been a little more flavor or something to make it pop, but definitely not a bad choice. Although I did not try it, my friend next time me ordered a fish n chips which was MASSIVE and looked soo good. If I came back I would definitely try this one.

Yelp
Crave has decent food, but they are amazing with groups. And they know how to deal with a big downtown lunch rush and the pre-theater crowd. I'm the pre-theater crowd. The menu is quite eclectic, so it should please everyone just enough. I took my picky teen out of school to use their student ID to get rush tickers for a weekday matinee. This was an excellent idea. It was also an excellent idea to eat lunch at crave where they had very good quality chicken fingers and fries and I had a light sushi lunch. No lunch bentos at this location. Our server did seem a little overwhelmed, but one of the managers jumped in and helped A LOT. We were seated near the open kitchen and her interaction with the staff and her hustle made this a five star place.

Yelp
I had an amazing time at Crave. The food was amazing and staff was friendly. I am definitely coming back.

Yelp
Lunch here today before a show at the Orpheum. Our server was so awesome, but he said he's usually at the West End location. My sushi was great as was our desert. Only giving four stars because of the pricing. Bill includes a surcharge which adds to the already expensive food.
google avatar

Karina U.

Yelp
We had a group dinner and fixed menu. We started with a salad, chose a main (mine was vegetarian stir fry) and had dessert (an incredibly dry and nearly stale s'more brownie that I had to ask for vanilla ice cream for). Overall, everything was edible and average. I will say the things that I would order again were the Brussels sprouts and the complimentary bread was fantastically soft.

Yelp
I was super excited to try out CRAVE in the mall of America but I think it is a little overrated. My boyfriend and I ordered the lobster avocado toast ($19.95 and highly recommend!) and the Crave burger ($16.95). They were both delicious and worth it for the price! Customer service was great and they prepared the food very quickly! The restaurant is definitely fancier than a typical restaurant. It's very spacious and clean and the bar area is very nice. I recommend making a reservation as it can get quite busy! One thing I do regret is not trying the sushi. Will definitely have to next time! Overall rating 8.5/10

Maddie S.

Yelp
Food was decent, customer service sub par. Took us three tries to get the right salad that we ordered and had to wait 10+ minutes after other food arrived. Upon receiving the full priced bill we asked if there was any compensation offered since the kitchen screwed up 3times. We could hear the manager loudly talking about how we ordered it wrong, and then were given $2 off. Just not a place that values customer experience.

Zer V.

Yelp
I took my friends here for my birthday dinner. The food was good but the waiter service was sub par. The gentleman who waited us spoke in loud overbearing manner, we had hardly settle down when he showed up and informed us in a stern voice that the kitchen closes in an hour..he immediately demanded for our drinks almost in a commanding tone ...the food was very expensive compared to the quality. Our last orders were delivered by another lady who literarily dropped off the food in front of us without any courtesy she looked angry, tired and was obviously not happy to be there doing her job, The waiter finally came around showing each of us our bills on a small hand held device he carried and her took our cards to process payments ,, he never gave us our receipts despite asking for it,

Yelp
Went here for dinner with a party of 8. It was a Saturday night around 6 or 7 and we had no issues getting seated right away on the rooftop. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and really enjoyable (shoutout to Daniel!). The food wasn't that good, but was very expensive. I only got a burger, so I can't speak to their plentiful sushi options. It didn't have much flavor and was pretty thin. It did come with a massive pile of fries that I shared with the table. I had a couple of margaritas which were delicious. Overall, the atmosphere was very good and everyone enjoyed being together there. Unfortunately the biggest surprise was when the bill came - nearly $70 for a sad burger and two drinks! If I were to spend that much on a dinner for myself it would not be that one.

Yelp
I can't recall the last time I gave a really bad review, but this location deserves it for this visit. We were going downtown for a show and Crave is right across the street. So for convenience we went there. I had the baked Mac and cheese, which was basically like dry pasta with almost no sauce, like four chunks of bacon and basically no bread crumbs. I had had it before at another location and it was good. But this was terrible. Description says "tossed with bacon and cavatappi then topped with bread crumbs and more bacon" if you're going to give me basically no bacon don't list it twice and tout it. And it didn't seem baked at all. Just flavorless dry pasta. It was terrible. The picture speaks for itself on dry and no sauce and scant bacon. But even worse was the No flavor. Update: girlfriend said that neither soap dispenser in the restroom worked and one stall was out of paper. So maintenance suffering. Service was bad, but I get it. They, like everyone else, were understaffed.

Yelp
The food at Crave is great! Our sushi, seaweed salad, and steak was all very tasty and very good. We arrived to the rooftop bar around 7:30pm and sat down right away, didn't need a reservation. Only reason i give four stars is because I ordered the steak medallions and instead was given steak frites (different item on the menu, but it was still good).

Melissa W.

Yelp
Myself, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, daughter (6), and niece (5) went here for dinner before The Lion King show at the Orpheum. Our servers were so great. My niece accidently spilt her lemonade and the wait staff came running and were so sweet to her. I wish I knew the one waiter's name, because he made her day with her new lemonade that was "wonderful" according to her. Dinner was great and the desserts were amazing ( Chocolate cake and smores Brownie)

Yelp
Great second floor view if your a mountain goat. Food is outstanding. Great pre-show location

Adolph I.

Yelp
The entrees and drinks were awesome, but the undercooked wings to go put a damper on our experience. I ended up getting sick after eating some of a wing before noticing it was raw and bloody in spots. We have eating here before and never had this problem, nevertheless I hope they correct this problem asap. We were there 10/28/2023@5:00pm.

Yelp
The food here is great but expensive. I have to say I appreciate the business operating like a well oiled machine! We were greeted promptly and by several staff members who allowed us to pick anywhere on the rooftop. I ordered the Bamboo Bite roll and it was delicious! Well made margaritas. 4 stars because our server wasn't super friendly.

Yelp
Truly a fun and great location for so many things - drag brunch, bachelorette party, and so much more!

William K.

Yelp
This CRAVE restaurant is just like any CRAVE location you'd find in the Twin Cities, but with a rooftop. Cool atmosphere with good, quick service. Food is prepared quickly yet tastes great, which is a good thing. My only complaint though is that the place is a bit hard to find, since you have to enter LaSalle Plaza and take an escalator to get up to the second floor to be seated. But that certainly isn't the restaurant's fault, but still a minor detail I noticed. Since this location is Downtown, you may want to consider making a reservation here. Although my experience here was great in that my party didn't have to wait, it's still something I was thinking about when other events such as Timberwolves and Twins games are happening. This is definitely a location I'd return to, otherwise.

Yelp
Was at the Crave rooftop for a drag show and it was so much fun. Highly recommend getting your gals and pals and go see a show. Service was phenomenal. Had such a positive experience. Food was good but save some room for the drinks.
google avatar

Tony W.

Yelp
Food is great... but that's it! What has happened to Crave. Well it has not gotten a refresh since it's opened. This place could get a remodel to freshen things up a little. Plates were chipped, food was being brought to the wrong table and the carpet looks gross! #sorrynotsorry
google avatar

Diana A.

Yelp
Best service, our waiter was very attentive and on top of everything. I shared the Mac and cheese with chicken, it was really good, as well as a Wagyu Burger, the mushroom conserva was so yummy. When we got there it was empty and quickly lit up, the ambiance was really nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Normally love crave but this place has issues. Nice atmosphere and location. No service. Literally. Only the roof deck was open. After waiting to get a table we sat for 45 min without so much as putting in a drink order. Tried complaining to hostess but nothing changed. Left hungry.

Kary M.

Yelp
We had a late lunch here and the service and food was outstanding! Brandon was our server and he was very attentive and authentic! He is actually a really funny guy and made us laugh during our time there! The Poke bowl I had was fresh and huge and my gf had the #9 sushi roll and she loved it! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are down in the theater district or near the stadium!

Kim P.

Yelp
Wanted to pop in to eat before Derek at State theater. We were there at 5:00. Was told no reservations taken until 7:30? Had a difficult time understanding. Looked very empty. Many people were standing there- not sure where to go. Not many choices in the area to eat. Thank you Dominos!!

Yelp
Went to Crave last night to grab a quick drink before a show. we sat at the bar and waited to be served. The bartender totally ignored us. He was standing talking to another man at the bar. When we finally got his attention he walked over and said, "I'm helping this guy, and then I'll get to you". We had to ask for a drink menu. He finally came over, took our order and left. Several minutes later he came back and asked us again what we had ordered. I watched him as he repeatedly did the same thing to other women at the bar. He would hone in to the men and ignore the women. Never offered a refill on water or my sisters soda. His name was Jacob, worst service I've ever had at Crave.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Made a reservation at this location ahead of a theater trip. Location was very convenient and parking was easy. Surprised when we walked in to be told that only the rooftop seating area was available this evening. Would have been good to have been warned of that at the time of booking or in the follow up text they sent asking me to confirm my booking the day before. The weather was cooler and I didn't have a jacket but it was just about OK so we went ahead and ordered. Food was OK but didn't realize until I checked our receipt more carefully when I got home that I had been charged a surcharge of 4.95%. This was never explained or pointed out at the time of paying and there was no sign on the table informing us of this additional charge. Have been to Crave in other locations many times and have not come across this charge, unless it is a very recent thing. Will not be returning to Crave, largely due to this charge being added without me being told.

Yelp
You know, I've been hearing around for years now that Crave has really gone down. I used to love Crave and actually have a ton of great memories from when I was younger, so I am very nostalgic towards the restaurant. But let me tell you. It's just not worth it. Maybe if it was half the cost, or even a quarter. Fine. But I've been to the Roseville, MOA, and downtown Craved a couple of times the past few years, and I have to finally face the reality that they absolutely suck now. I wanted to celebrate a special occasion today, and spent $100 on my meal. This meal would only be acceptable at $20, total. It was the quality I would expect from, say...a gas station. First, I ordered the Salmon Picatta. I asked for the salmon well done, admittedly, but it was so hard and chewy it actually hurt my jaw to even get through. And absolutely NO flavor. Completely flavorless. I didn't actually know that was possible. The pasta, too, had no seasoning, no salt, no cheese, nothing. It was just coated in about an inch high of oil, and that was it. Absolutely disgusting. How do you mess up pasta this bad?! My partner ordered two rolls and a cookies and cream cake. They altogether forgot the cake. Great. One of the rolls was a straight up incorrect roll, but he forced himself to eat it - didn't like it. Naturally. Which is why he didn't order it. The other was just...bad. I don't know, he didn't go into details, but he said it was bad enough to not finish, and tossed the rest. I haven't had my cheesecake yet, but not holding my breath for a good review. Let me reiterate. This cost $100. I have nothing but regrets and a very ill stomach. Frankly, Crave, I want my money back.

Yelp
My husband and went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and we loved it. Our server was super attentive and made sure we got our order in as soon as we were ready. The sushi rolls were amazing! We loved it!

Yelp
This review is based on service. We had sushi which was good and I took home coconut cake because it has always been my favorite. We sat on the roof for a flip phone event. It was the first time I had wait service. Everyone wore a mask and I felt safe and sane. I am thrilled to be at a place that understands this is a serious pandemic but also wants you to feel comfortable while dining. Thanks for a great experience.

Yelp
Rooftop seating in downtown Minneapolis. Who would have known!! Very comfortable and relaxing. We started off with an appetizer of Edamame. The soy sauce and spice was a perfect paring. I then ordered the fish tacos but forgot to take a pix! So sorry when I remembered nothing was left on my plate.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner at this downtown location. Everything from the ambiance and service was excellent from start to finish. It was a little chilly to sit at the rooftop bar, but I hear the view is gorgeous. I started with a Blueberry Mint Fizz, a non-alcohol house favorite - a wonderful combination of flavors and very refreshing. For appetizers we ordered Asian Sticky Ribs and Truffle Parmesan Fries for the table. The ribs were perfectly tender and flavorful. I could have eaten the entire plate! The fries were wonderfully crisp and seasoned just right. My meal was the Chilean Sea Bass, which I had hoped would have been a thicker piece as it was $36. I did enjoy the risotto and mushrooms, however. I'm hoping to visit again when I am in town to try one of their other dishes, which I am sure are equally delicious.

Yelp
Nope, guarantee no crave for food here Overpriced, understaffed, overcooked cold burger and long waiting time. The server is sweet but that's really the only shiny spot.

Yelp
I don't get why this place is so busy - my friend made reservations for a girls dinner before we saw a play at the Orpheum and I was immediately bummed. The food isn't bad... it's just not that good, especially for the price... I don't get it. I had two rolls of sushi and honestly they were fine - but not great - and they cost me $40. I could have easily gotten an equal quality at Lunds for so much cheaper. This place is conveniently located to the Orpheum so I'll give them that, but if you are going to go out to dinner in downtown, go somewhere better. **I will say the service is 5/5 stars**

Yelp
Had a great time on the roof deck - music was blasting, people were good looking, everyone danced and had a great time. What summer nights in Minneapolis are all about. The wait for the drinks was a bit long, and the bartenders were clearly overwhelmed with the crowds, but the quality of drinks did not suffer, and the wait allowed for some great people-watching.

Yelp
This is my 2nd visit to Crave and I stopped by for lunch. It's located in LaSalle Plaza. There's 2 level and the top level is accessible through the skyway. Jonathan was our server, he was quick and attentive. We also had a reservation so our water was ice cold and ready for us when we got seated. Knowing how lunch hours get crazy, our wait time for food came out pretty quick. Although it wasn't crowded at noon at all. I got the Shrimp and Soba noodle dish. It's not bad, reminds me of a bowl of drained ramen noodle with 4 medium sized shrimp, tossed in mushrooms and small vegs. However I still enjoy it because I simply love noodles. Birthday girl got the mussels. There wasn't much sauce but it came with fries. Last year she had the coconut mussels and it was delicious. Menu must've changed over the year. We also thought the birthday girl was going to get a special dessert since it was mentioned in the reservation but that didn't happened. Didn't bothered us too much but it was a quick in and out stop. I remembered my first visit was much better, as we also signed up for the rewards then. The birthday girl also got her dessert. Hopefully 3rd time will be a charm.

Yelp
Come for the city views on the rooftop. So Minneapolis is low key fun. We were visiting after the boy finished a program at a nearby small liberal arts college. We stayed in the city for a few days just to take it all in. We are east coasters so we won't really ever come back for any reason. Anyway, I found this place on yelp and even though it wasn't the highest rating the pictures looked fun. I wanted to go someplace fun. It was a bit tricky to find. It's inside of a small mall-type building. Once we got to the roof, we were served right away. Service was really good. My drink was yummy and strong. The sushi was solid. I'd give it a B- and the other food was ok as well. Get the firecracker shrimp because those are good! Anyway, this is a fun place to visit with friends, have drinks, overlook the city and enjoy the sunshine. It's not a foodie spot.

Yelp
I attended the drag brunch on the roof here on a Sunday afternoon while visiting home for the weekend. I was super excited to get together with all of my friends and enjoy the Lizzo themed show. The start time was supposed to be 3pm. We arrived a little early for seating to be met by a dark and chaotic first floor of the restaurant. The hosts and promoters were trying to count money and yelling at attendees that they needed to back up so they could give people change. Once we were allowed upstairs there was a mad dash to the rooftop which could have been hazardous in the stairwell. We sat at one of the only two tables remaining for a large party in the back right corner. We couldn't see ANYTHING. The queens came out on the opposite side of the bar which of course obstructed our view and the music wasn't even up loud. By the time the "show" reached our side of the roof the songs were over or ending and we didn't get any performance just the queens making their exit. The mimosas were just orange juice I had to switch to a cocktail which was actually far too sweet. My fish tacos were missing fish and the sushi wasn't rolled well. We were cashed out at 4:30 and the show ended so that means we got one hour in total. I wasn't impressed and can't say I would recommend this event or venue to anyone.
