Crave Catering

We are so lucky we chose Crave Catering for our September 2025 wedding! Choosing a caterer was one of the most important parts of our planning process, and Crave made it effortless, exciting, and delicious! We had several dietary restrictions and allergies to consider for ourselves and our guests, and Crave went above and beyond to create thoughtful alternatives that everyone could enjoy (and made it super easy for us in the planning process). The food was absolutely fantastic, flavorful, fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. When it came time to plan our menu, Crave gave us so many wonderful options that the process felt fun and creative rather than stressful (unlike other catering companies we met before Crave). The meal exceeded all expectations and our guests can't stop talking about how incredible everything tasted. Everyone was able to enjoy the food and left dinner without feeling weighed down, giving no one any excuse but to dance the night away! And the best part is we were sent home with leftovers so we could savor the meal for a few more days. What a treat. We can't recommend Crave Catering highly enough for any wedding or event. I promise, you won't regret it!

We absolutely loved having Crave cater our wedding. Their food is truly farm to table fresh and delicious, nothing felt pre-made or frozen. They were super accommodating and flexible to our requests, including incorporating some traditional aspects into our wedding and accommodating dietary restrictions. They also worked with us to arrange all of our rentals, which was ridiculously helpful. We would highly recommend.

We hired Crave Catering for our wedding and were so thrilled with the service and food. Their farm-to-table menu was outstanding and the presentation was beautiful. We had passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour and a buffet dinner. The service was impeccable. The buffet ran smoothly and everyone received warm and fresh food. We also had a pretty substantial and quick room flip (from ceremony to dinner space) that the Crave catering staff assisted with, and again, everything went so smoothly. I received so many compliments from guests about the wonderful food at our wedding and would definitely hire Crave Catering again.

Crave has truly mastered the art of catering, The food is consistently rich in flavor, something my clients always rave about. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted and absolutely delicious! What really sets Crave apart from other catering companies, is their reliability and outstanding service. Deliveries are always on time, which takes so much stress out of event planning. The delivery personnel are not only punctual but also incredibly knowledgeable and polite, making the interaction pleasant. Dylan is my point of contact..."exceptional" is not even enough of a word to describe him. His level of customer service is rare these days. I hired Crave to cater an event at Raptor Ridge winery, part of a wedding week of festivities. The food, service & overall experience were phenomenal, I can't recommend them highly enough!! Wow, everything was done to perfection - from Kerry Davis' communication with me, her follow up, her on site team providing excellent service day of the event, and the food. This brief story illustrates it all - my sister has numerous food allergies and other things she has to avoid. I communicated that to Kerry, and the food was prepared such that my sister, at the end of the night, simply said, "this was the only meal I had that I didn't have to ask any questions"! Crave Catering is great, I'd love to find a reason to use them again!

A few days after the big day and I am still feeling incredibly fortunate to have hired Crave to cater our wedding. Kerry and team were easy to work with and made a menu that our friends and family are still raving about! Everyone LOVED the vegan risotto cakes, even our meat-loving family! Aside from their delicious food, I hired Crave because sourcing food locally is important to me. I appreciate Crave's dedication to growing its' ingredients and cannot wait to visit their farm soon!

Crave is absolutely amazing! The food was great during our tasting so we were excited for the day of but you never know how it will be feeding 100 people vs 2. Well with Crave, it was just as yummy! Everyone commented on how great the food was which hasn't been my experience at other weddings I've attended. The oyster bar was divine and a big hit. The cocktail options were so fun and the hot coca bar + cookies instead of a cake were perfect. Plus Kerry was wonderful and on top of everything the whole process. The whole team was great! I can't recommend Crave enough.

When choosing our menu, Crave gave us so many options, that choosing our menu became more exciting than stressful (unlike other catering companies we viewed prior to finding Crave). The food was incredible and everyone was able to dance on the dance floor without feeling weighed down by the meal (very important)! It was beyond our expectations and luckily we were sent home with leftovers so we got to enjoy it for a few more days. All of our guests continue to talk about how incredible the food was which is quite the compliment to Crave! I would HIGHLY recommend choosing Crave for your event or wedding. I promise, you won't regret it!

Crave Catering were absolutely incredible to work with. They helped make our wedding beyond perfect and we wouldn't have been able to do it without them. The food was leaps and bounds better than any food I have ever had at any other catered event. Their staff worked like clockwork. Katie was professional, responsive, and helped every step of the way. She truly did more than we could have ever asked for. We would recommend Crave Catering to anyone and everyone; and we hope to work with them again in the future.

Yum! From organizing, to communication to payment to finally the big event(s) (we scheduled two separate corporate happy hours 2 weeks apart), Crave Catering did a great job. I know that most people would tout the food first, but when you are organizing something for a business event, the stress of hoping that someone will pull through for you and be organized as well, is huge. If they can usually pull that off, great food usually follows, and it did! The food was fresh and delicious and just as described and also the suggestion for a supplemental choice was on the mark. The only complaint from one of my bosses was that he "ate too much"! Display and plates were a class act, and very fitting of the beautiful simplicity of the Pacific NW. Arrival of our setup and display was timely and assembly was fresh and professional and friendly; we had a drop-off appetizer scenario, so clear direction was provided to us in regards to allowing room in our fridge to supplement more appetizers as needed throughout the event. I would not hesitate recommending Crave Catering for any event, they were great!

This review is based on when I was interviewing caterers for my wedding. I didn't end up hiring Crave, and here is why. We tried the food from multiple vendors. Crave probably had the best food, and it was farm to table and vegetarian and vegan, which is what we were looking for. However, the food is just one aspect of what we were looking for when hiring a caterer for a wedding. I felt like the sales person did a poor job of working with us on the menu and didn't show us much more than the options than what were in there generic set of choices. We had a unique event that had to be tapas heavy as the space didn't allow for a sit down meal, 100% vegetarian and vegan with gluten free options. When we tried the food, it was two to-go boxes that we paid $100 for and little to no effort on their end otherwise other than to ask if we needed plastic silverware. By comparison, the caterer who we hired sat us down at a table in their facility, poured us a glass of wine or a beer, talked us through the menu. The let us taste options that we had on our menu as well as some alternatives and they listened to our feedback. The food was being prepared fresh by the same chef who did the cooking the night of the event and he was a part of the conversation. Honestly, this sales pitch was vastly superior to the minimal effort that Crave made to make a sale from us. We hired the other guys based on service and their food being good, but not as good as Crave's. Working with Crave felt like I was working with a Subaru salesman in Portland who has a product that sells itself and doesn't need to make an effort, which from my perspective, wasn't worthy of much effort on my end to give them my business.

My fiance and I worked with Crave, and specifically Melody, for over a year to plan our wedding reception at Gorge Crest Vineyards. Throughout the process Melody and the team were personable, creative, and an overall pleasure to work with. The food and drinks that we had at the Portland Venue Crawl and our private tasting was absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, due to state regulations we were unable to have our wedding reception so we can't comment on how Crave performed day-of but Melody was great to work with in planning our special day. Particularly through these uncertain past few months, Melody was proactive and creative in presenting new ideas to comply with social distancing guidelines. We highly recommend Melody and the team at Crave Catering.

Our firm hired Crave to feed our WA based headquarters of over one thousand people. They showed up around 8:30am to begin preparing for the 11am start time. The food menu for the day consisted of different types of tacos. Upon showing up downstairs I was impressed with the buffet style set up. Dual side for a total of 4 lines to help accommodate everyone. The choices of tacos were chicken, pork, and tofu on flour tortillas. They had a vat of salsa the small children could play in along with a pretty good selection of hot sauces. The chicken was well seasoned and was accompanied well with black beans and Mexican rice. The pork stole the show and was very moist and tender. The next time our firm feeds the employees my hope is that they try them again.

I am so thankful we chose Crave as our wedding caterer! From our tasting all the way to the end of our day-of-dinner, Lilie, Carolyn and the team wowed us the whole way through with incredible food and outstanding service. Lilie was consistently responsive and couldn't have been more friendly, eager to help, or willing to be flexible with options for our smaller-sized gathering. She and everyone on the team made us feel so appreciated throughout the process, including our initial tasting, when we walked up and saw a welcome sign with our names on the door. The little things truly go a long way. As far as food selections go, we went with a Pacific Northwest style menu, including cedar plank salmon and blackberry short ribs, which were the absolute hit of the night, along with pickled beet deviled eggs. All of our guests (even the ones with nitpick-y needs and allergies) loved everything. Although I was afraid I'd forget to eat that day, I almost cried legit tears of happiness when I got to our table and saw that the staff had already plated our meals for us ahead of time. (Maybe this is typical in the event catering world, but it was the cherry on top of everything for me!) I almost get teary thinking about those short ribs even now. They were to die for. Thank you Lilie + Crave!

We are SO glad we chose to go with crave catering. Kelsea was the easiest to work with and the food was beyond amazing. My husband and I are major foodies and that was an important part of our big day. Their food was so fresh and delicious they cooked it on site n the smoker at bridal veil lakes. We only wish we had leftovers to eat the next day, but it was so good my crowd ate every last bite. They allowed us to bring in our own alcohol which saved us money and the bartenders were great. We had back to back dinners provided by Crave for my cousin's wedding. The couple has extreme dietary restrictions so I won't put the blame on Crave for the bland food (you can't do much when you're not allowed to cook with garlic, onions, etc.) The staff arrived promptly and set-up everything with no hiccup. They also removed everything just as easily. I did not work with the catering manager so I can't comment to the pricing or the service on management's end. But as a guest, we had a great time. If I could, I'd give it a 3.5 but not a 4 since I haven't had anything on their 'normal' menu before. I wouldn't hesitate to give them another chance if I were ever to plan an event in Portland.

I recommended Crave to a friend for her wedding at Tumwater Reserve vineyard in West Linn. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The waitstaff was very efficient and yet they were polite enough to not interrupt the guests. Super friendly. I know my friend appreciated all of the extra touches that Crave provided for her wedding reception. I've used Crave for business meeting caterings. But seeing Crave in this setting just shows how talented the whole team is. You can't go wrong with Crave to cater any event.

Crave Catering was so amazing and some of the best food we have ever had. If you're getting married or planning an event they are the best. We planned a small wedding without ever trying their food and I feel like we got so lucky. They were so great to work with and did amazing at dropping off our food. Melody was quick to reply to all my emails and really tried to take care of us in every way possible. In times where we couldn't have a full service wedding we still felt so taken care of. We had the tacos with rice and beans and a salad. It was all amazing!!

We have used Crave twice and I was just as impressed the second time as I was the first. They are very timely, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is always eager to help in any way they can. The food is so delicious, fresh and easy to maneuver with. We chose one of the hor d'oeuvres packages. We also ordered their bar service and asked was able to request the use of a local spirit company to make a special drink with. They were more than happy to accommodate. Please check these guys out. You won't be disappointed!

I recently did an appetizer and bar service event with Crave and it we encountered disappointing and rude service with Crave. Here's the breakdown of our negative experience: - When we had to reduce the quantity for our order, they put up a fight about doing so. While I understand that this is their business, they were completely inflexible and hardly came up with a compromise. The end result was that we kept the number at where we originally expected and they would only take away 1 option for the appetizers. This resulted in a lot of wasted food. - When we arrived, while everything was set up physically, the woman working the event was not solid on the timeline for the evening. Despite having the schedule clearly written on her work-order, she was still negotiating it with me. After we discussed it at length and it appeared we reached a conclusion, later on she brought her supervisor over to me and he began with saying, "so I understand we have an issue and misunderstanding about our timing for tonight". I was busy with getting things ready for the event and it was irritating to have to have this conversation again. These details had been clearly worked out from the beginning of when we first booked them. - Despite saying that the caterers would be quiet in cleaning up, they were quite noisy and distracting to our guests while we were doing our presentation. At times, it was difficult to have our conversation. - During the program, while the female caterer was cleaning up, she literally pulled a full wine glass out of the hands of our guests. This was beyond rude. There had not been any mention about them needing to take away the glasses before they were to leave for the evening ahead of when we began our program. In fact, they were still pouring full glasses as they watched our guests take their seats. They shouldn't have pulled glasses out of our guests hands and they should have mentioned their need to remove the glasses before we began our program. When she was asked to leave the glass alone (in front of all our guests), the woman put up a fight about it. Finally, it wasn't until we said we would cover the expense of the left glasses did she stop what she was doing. - At least for the female caterer, it seemed as though from the beginning of the night, she wanted to be be able to get out of work as quickly as possible. That's not the type of service that we were paying for. However, the male caterer was helpful. - The quality of the food was not wonderful. It was OK, but it could have been better. I would NOT hire this company.

Our organization used Crave for a staff lunch and everyone loved the food. The Crave staff was great in helping me plan the lunch and I was impressed with the excellent service.

I am so pleased with our choice to work with Crave Catering for our Wedding. We chose Crave for their sustainable practices, their garden fresh menu and their delicious recipes. Our guests LOVED the seasonal fare and were so pleased at how Crave created options for every diet. During the wedding, the staff was attentive, yet out of the way. The tables looked pristine and set up exactly as I imagined. The best thing I could have asked for was not to have to lift a finger, notice a mistake or see anything awry... and I got all three! Crave was super flexible with our requests. They also were very gracious in dealing with my endless changing mind in the weeks before the wedding. I also hired Jessica as our Day of Coordinator, and I TRULY enjoyed working her. Being the control freak that I am, I was hesitant about hiring a wedding planner, since most of the details I was creating myself. Jessica worked with me for all the vendor coordination and was always present for walkthroughs at the venue. She and my bridesmaids set up the event FLAWLESSLY! In fact, better than I imagined. Jessica kept the event schedule on track from start to finish and coordinated the breakdown from the venue as well. A class work all around!

I just can't say enough about Crave! We had 50 person party with a casual, kid friendly menu needed. I had eaten Crave's food before at other events, so I knew they were great, but here is just a little snapshot of how great Crave was for me. I needed to pull this event together at the very last minute....I don't recommend this. I contacted Crave just 7 days before, and got a call back on a Saturday. I mentioned that we had food allergies, and they didn't mind all of my questions and concerns. They were friendly, prompt and SO accommodating! The food arrived piping hot, on time and honestly it was delicious! Everyone at my party mentioned how decadent the mac and cheese was and the pulled pork was the best I've ever had. You can't miss with Crave!

Veronica and her very professional team provided an outstanding farm to table meal and service at a wedding on the coast. It was raining and they set up tables inside, in tight conditions, and made it so beautiful. The roasted pig was amazing! I can't recommend or thank them enough.

Thank you for your outstanding customer service and delicious food! As is our policy, I must submit 3 companies to the owner to choose from. He immediately threw out 2 and was left with the Crave menu in his hand...which is the one I had already chosen. We were impressed with the diversity of the menu. Heidi was amazing to work with...we made several changes mid-stream and she never missed a beat. The food was amazing...everyone at the event asked who the caterer was. I was impressed with the food, the customer service and the price. Thank you. We will definitely use Crave again!!

We recently hired Crave Catering to host our monthly company lunch party and we were very impressed!!! We went with the Baja Lunch Buffet and our staff was raving over the fajitas and taco bar. Not only was the food out of sight but the customer service was top notch as well. We will definitley be using Crave again and we are also looking forward to trying some other things on the menu :-)

Crave Catering continues to impress us. The customer service is unsurpassed; their staff is extremely courteous, conscientious, and responsive. They go out of their way to exceed expectations and the food never disappoints. The office favorite is the Baja Lunch; I suggest you order extra guacamole because you will not be able to get enough it. Crave Catering has it all -- fabulous service, delicious food, at a great price.

Looking for great food with exceptional staff? Look no further! We had Crave Catering at our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but the team at Crave made everything so easy from beginning to end. We had the Hawaiian Style Barbecue and the food was impeccable - people still tell me how great the food was! The staff was amazing the day of the wedding and did a fantastic job with the table displays. The tables looked beautiful, clean, and perfect down to the very last detail. The staff was professional and a joy to work with. I loved working with this vendor and cannot recommend them enough!

My husband and I can't express enough our gratitude for Crave Catering. Specifically, our appreciation for Lilie. We absolutely loved working with Lilie. She truly is the best and beyond great at what she does. She was responsive to all of our emails and inquiries. She worked closely with our rental company to rent everything that we needed for our wedding. She was present the entire day of our wedding and ensured everything stayed on schedule. She listened to all of our requests; and at times when we kept changing our minds going back and forth, she was always patient and continued to provide superb service. Lilie truly went above and beyond our expectations and she's amazing! She played a huge part in the success of our wedding day. Also to mention that the food was great! Our guests loved everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the desserts. I highly recommend Crave Catering and if you can, request to work with Lilie! We love you Crave!
