Exceptional food and friendly service. The menu has many items to choose from. I recommend this establishment.

Me and my wife were on our way home back to Dallas and we really wanted some boiled crawfish so we got on Google and it had several places but we chose this one. It was in Pineville Louisiana which wasn't for our way since we were already in Alexandria so we took the turn to go over there. Once inside we looked over the menu and decided we would get 5 lb of the Crawfish a pound of the boil shrimp a link of sausage two corns and two potatoes. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. I really like the sausage it was different I had never had sausage that tasted like that before. As for the Crawfish they were seasoned really well but they were hard red crawfish that were always at the end of the season. But I enjoyed them anyway. My wife also picked up something that they had called praline chicken. It was very interesting it was like chicken tenders that had pecans and a sugary like flavor to it but overall it was pretty good. I was intrigued by the place so if I'm ever in Pineville Louisiana again I will be sure to stop in and try some of the other menu items. Ps I almost forgot the boil eggs.

First time here. Food was delicious! Fast and friendly service! We had a party of 14 and were well taken care of!!! Best Crawfish Etouffee I've ever had from a restaurant!!!

We love this place! Always a good choice! It used to be Fant's Seafood. Best remoulade in Louisiana and that's saying something! If you haven't been, you should go! Ask for Sam as your server, she's the best!

This place is terrific! The food was delicious! I brought my mother to lunch there (our first visit there) and we will definitely go back.

Came in from Houston not that great. No beer for sale rice bland gumbo also tasted like flour mixed with water not the flavor I was expecting. Order took long to prepare this is why I thought it was going to be great. Now I will say the hush puppies were good.

My complaint is I ordered the 3 meat platter to go. She came out with 1 light weight to go box. I was expecting at least 2 containers. There was a kiddie size fry, 1/4 cup coleslaw. 3 fish strips, 6 shrimp, fried oysters and 2 hush puppies. It felt more like a sampler other than a platter. If you're going to sell a platter sell a platter and not a sampler as a platter. This is a rip off. I'm just not going to waste my time with this place when I can complain to my family making sure they know not to go there and we'll all go to Rosie Joe's

Great mom and pop style diner. I got the Boudin Quesadilla, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, and Beignets with Praline Sauce. The Boudin Quesadilla is really good! The Gumbo was not bad, but not special. Beignets - excellent! Overall a great choice for something different with good food and service!

Wow! A bit hard to find off the beaten path but so worth it! I had the shrimp étouffée, and my husband had the crawfish étouffée. Some of the best Cajun food we have had. Also tried the pistolles which were amazing as the appetizer. Highly recommended!!

Very good crawfish étouffée and bread pudding. Staff is very attentive, and the restaurant is clean and well lit. Good food at a reasonable price. Definitely come visit.

We were passing through and decided to check this place out. This place knows how to boiled crawfish to the taste with a little spice. Very happy we stop there. If you are ever near by you nice to stop you will not regret it.

We ordered the 5 lb crawfish combo that came with 1 lb of shrimp and sausage and fixings. Ordered grilled duck and onion rings as appetizers. All was good and onion rings best ever! We got there close to closing time but the staff was most accommodating. Service was great.

CRAZY lucky! My family of 7 stumbled upon this gem. We were worried when we pulled in but that's only because we don't know the area! The lady who served us was like a Cajun aunt! She was fun and fast, also on top of making sure we had everything! The bathrooms are very cute! The food was so good I wouldn't care if they were rude or my table was messy!!! Everyone at the table was happy with their meal!

If you like Cajun in a very homey atmosphere, this is your place to go. Central Louisiana has a lot of choices for this type cuisine. Crazy Cajun is worth a try.

What can I say! This little unassuming place is a must! The fried duck is absolutely amazing! More than I could eat!

First time at this restaurant. Tried the seafood gumbo since it was recommended.. no real flavor unless you like salt. Really salty but 0 spice.. very disappointing.

Saw the good reviews and glad we stopped for dinner. At the counter we asked a million questions as my friend is from Scotland and I'm from New York. Emily and the rest of the staff were so helpful and patient. I was intrigued by the Praline Chicken and it was delicious. Friend had chicken and sausage gumbo and also said hers was excellent. Both of us ordered the red beans and rice and by then we weren't surprised that it was excellent, also. My friend asked if she could take the chef home but the waitress (owner) said "No, because he's my husband!" She's a very lucky lady. So go for the fabulous food and you'll enjoy the amazing staff along with the friendly atmosphere. Such a quaint establishment!!

Horrible across the board. Absolutely not Creole food and awful to qualify as Cajun good as well.

The Crawfish étouffée was tasty, so were the fried duck strips. Servings are large and service is good!!

Very nice service and no roaches at all! The food was very tasty and a very nice portion. Though I wasn't a fan of the environment. The environment seemed not clean and cluttered. I would go here again.

Good food. Good service. Decent ambiance. The Onion Rings! The Hush Puppies! Choose this place as a "Lets try something new." Definitely will be eating there again. Crawfish Ettouffee is on point.

Great food friendly staff. If you love Cajun Foods this is your place We just moved here. We have been there about 6 times Didn't care for their gumbo . But we've had just about everything else. Crawfish is great.

This spot is really delicious, very good menu and pricing, food is exceptional, staff is great. It's family owned and operated so taking care of customer satisfaction is great. Clean restaurant, clean restrooms. I recommend the duck fried, and Etoufee is really good.

We decided to try out this place for the first time for dinner yesterday. Our server was so welcoming and friendly. She did an amazing job and gave great suggestions. The food was really good and the sweet tea hit the spot too! We were too full for dessert but got some bread pudding to go and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and New Orleans raised oh my god! it took me home the gumbo was awesome went perfect with my Surf and Turf and boudin sandwich. we'll be a permanent customer the service was a 10 they greeted me as I walked in and help all the way tell the end of our visit thanks so much guy keep up the great work

Excellent catfish dinner. One large dinner was enough for my husband and I to share with some leftover. Onion rings are to die for. We never leave disappointed.

Found not a strand of hair but a wad of hair in our fried fish. Needless to say we have not eaten there since.

Becca was our waitress and she was extremely NICE and Welcoming! The food was really good. My son had the boiled shrimp and he said they were delicious. My other son had the Philly cheese steak and he said it was delicious. We just dropped in traveling home from Ruston. We would recommend this restaurant.

Small locally owned restaurant. I liked the interior of the restaurant. The prices are very high for what you get! Food is average at best.

This little Hawaiian girl that married someone from Dry Prong and comes back 30 years later to Louisiana ends up eating at this terrific restaurant. When arriving, I had a feeling the food must be good because the place was packed on a Sunday night with us and others waiting to sit. There were 8 of us on our table. I got to eat the catfish poboy with remoulade and I was in Heaven. My husband ate the crawfish and seafood gumbo and loved each bite. Service was good. My only complaint was that the air conditioner was really cold. Fortunately, one of the ladies that were at our table had a blanket and that solved the problem. There was adequate parking and the inside was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place because the taste and flavors were spot on.

This place has the best service the sweetest people working here! The food is hands down amazing! Especially their fried duck!

Just so everyone knows the fish you are eating at the Crazy Cajun is absolutely not Catfish. The taste was a little off so I asked a staff member was it catfish. Initially, I was told yes but when I pressed her on it she said ,"well it's Swai Fish but it's the same thing".

Came here for lunch and it was amazing!! 10 stars if I could! Crawfish mac and cheese is the best thing I've ever eaten!!

Visiting the area, and decided to stop in. Friendly staff. It is mostly fried food. We got the fried pickles, just ok. Fried mushrooms however, were really good and fresh. Onion rings are actually onions straws (not a fan). Fries were good, as was catfish and shrimp. Although, everything was fried, nothing was greasy. Reasonable priced.

First time visiting this place an I was pleased with my meal but my family wasn't. They had order the snow crab platter for $32 u would think it would be piping hot....NOT!!! All 4 platters was COLD!!! Then when asked to do sumthin about our cold food...they then went in kitchen an did wateva an brought out the same damn platters heated up an gave everyone each other plates wth an then the rudeness frm the manager wateva u wanna call her VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..will never return !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oysters were good. Corn was cold if it had been warm it could have been very tasty. Onion rings were awesome. All in all over priced I feel.

The service was EXCELLENT and food was even better!!!! We had fried fish, cheeseburger, boiled shrimp and fried tomatoes.... everything was DELICIOUS!!!!

After waiting for over 30 minutes and still no food when the food did come out the grilled shrimp wasn't edible. The shrimp were burnt and over seasoned. The fish orders took even longer and then the orders were wrong. Overall the food was lousy and the poor waitress did her best. What did the establishment do? Our tea was free!! Won't be back anytime soon!!

My daughter , son in law and me where hungry Saturday evening traveling from Ruston back to Baton Rouge. Looked on Yelp as we got 15 minutes from Pineville and discovered this restaurant. We got off the main highway for 2 miles and took a chance that the 4 5 stars would be worth the risk. Looking at the restaurant fro. The outside. It appeared to be similar to someone's old living/dining room. But went inside. Michelle, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the fried duck appetizer per her bv recommendation and it was amazingly good. For dinner we had the special, which was fried fish and shrimp. Came with Cole slaw, fries. And hush puppies. All of it was incredibly good. And the special was only $10. We will be back there every chance we get close.

We loved our trip to the crazy Cajun. It wasn't the ritz which means the food was excellent. The wait staff was fun and enjoyable and everything they put on the table was excellent. Try the fried tomatoes!

Terrible service! Waited 40 minutes and finally gave up on an order of etoufee. None of the staff had masks on so don't go if Covid is an issue.

This is only the second time I have been to this restaurant. The first time I went it was called something else. We moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago and we are back for a visit. We wanted some good seafood so, we decided to go here. There were 3 adults and a baby. We were all pleasantly impressed with the food and the service. Best catfish I have ever eaten!!!!! And the broccoli bites mmmmmmm!!!

Passing through on our way to Jackson Miss and stopped in for dinner. Amazing. Best shrimp ettoufee' we've ever had! The dish was huge! We also got the gumbo and boudin balls. Everything had such great flavor. So much food we did the best we could to eat it all. They were so nice. Other local customers talked to us as well. Just a great experience
