Where to Catch Fresh Seafood Boils in Metro Detroit

"The English brothers opened this spot with one goal: Make crabs as popular as coney islands in Detroit. Get them in a cluster seafood bag, seasoned with their family’s signature sauce. Add-ons for the bag include turkey necks, oxtails, rice, and smoked wings. Prices start at $18 for a 25-piece crawfish bag or an eight-piece shrimp bag; the $54.99 Everything Bag includes one crab cluster, a lobster tail, four shrimp, eight crawfish and a sausage, and is perfect for sharing." - Monica Williams

Nice and delicious food. The portion size seems to be OK. Prices seems to be little bit high. Overall, I enjoyed the food

Inedible! Chewy and gross. Had to order something else to eat and they had me pay for the poorly cooked food. Won't be back. Too many places doing seafood to have bad food and service! Save your money go to detroit pho on 12 mile. They wont disappoint.

As a visitor to the area, I was skeptical about a random crab shack. Boy was I wrong! This place is very good! I had the head on shrimp, hush puppies and sweet potato fries. The sauce I chose was mixed, two heats. Very good.

This place was AMAZING! The seafood was so good and so fresh! I couldnt get over how yummy. We got take out and brought it home and out it in a giant tray! They are super generous with their portions. Worth every penny!

Been to better seafood boils. Sat for lunch & they’re already telling us that tip will be included in the bill. Gave us one metal spoon when asked for two. Asked again, gave us a plastic spoon. Dips came in packets. Rice served in styrofoam boxes. Seems like the place only have stuff for take out, and not for dine-in. The seafood boil was a but more expensive than the usual place we go to, and had less options in the bag. Requested cajun sauce and it was super oily, with chunks of unmixed cajun seasoning in it. Mussels were not cleaned. Shrimp & crab were okay. Corn was mushy. Sausage was extra cost. My recommendation? Go somewhere else.

My first time here and unfortunately, my last. I asked the waiter if the calamari was a small or large portion. He said small, so I also ordered six fried oysters. The calamari was of a decent size, but it was overcooked, very tough, they really blew it here. The oysters were oddly uniform and had a strange smell- I didn't eat them. The ketchup bottle was sticky. They offered no house sauce, marinara or remoulade- just little packets of various liquids. $25. I figured it'd be average, but this was really bad.

Their lunch menu is beyond reasonable. I had a seafood boil with cajun garlic butter. The seasoning was a little too salty for me. But, for the next, maybe not. However, my overall experience was good. A seafood boil bag is just that. I highly recommend the lunch hours if you're on a budget.

The food is always good. The staff is slightly rude, just no pleasant personality, but overall it was a good experience.
