Dallas Restaurant Openings to Know in February 2025 | Eater Dallas

"A fast-casual burrito concept that migrated from Cozumel, Mexico, offering classic Tex-Mex and Mexican options like bean and cheese, asada, ground beef, chicken tinga, and shrimp, alongside Cali-Mex items such as chicken tenders, the Loco Veggie, and the Veggie Break." - Courtney E. Smith

Ordered the asada burrito. The burrito is big. I wasn't crazy about the meat. I personally prefer steak strips than ground beef. The meat was a bit bland. Their salsas are good. It's a nice little restaurant, very clean. The staff was friendly. We did order a 2nd burrito, but I did not try it or remember what it was.

My husband and I both had the #8 burrito with shrimp and steak—so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chips and queso were awesome, definitely a must-try! The atmosphere has a great vibe, cozy and inviting. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food in a casual but cozy atmosphere. Nice decor that makes it a step above the typical "order at the bar" place. Friendly staff offer great service. There's nothing small about the "chico" burritos. The king size must be huge. Lots of variety, great flavors. The salsas are great (on the spicy side). Great value.

Crazy King Burrito is a gem hidden in plain sight with hole-in-the-wall vibes! Delicious and authentic flavors with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Not too greasy, not overly salted or processed - everything was fresh and tender. Chips were thick and crispy, not overly oily. Recommend the guacamole and horchata! Will definitely visit again and bring friends and family. Order the Chico size if you’re hungry and the Super if you’re extra hungry 😋

Tried it for the first... and last time.. my husband got the crispy cali.. he gave me a bite, literally like a chicken Cesar wrap but Hot and with potato wedges!... I got the Asada. Yeah, meat is bland! but it's there. The price for flavor and mainly rice or lettuce is higher instead of 13/14 I'd say maybe 9/10 it's not authentic Mexican food that's for sure! It's like taco bell nah I prefer taco bell actually. I didn't try chips or dips they were ordered but not heard. Apparently, maybe music or distraction, but in end glad, who knows maybe they would have been basic too. We ate half the burritos and threw away the rest, not worth seconds. Not worth saving or putting taste buds thru that again. I think the good reviews are people starving, so with hunger of course taste way different. But it's definitely not worth hype or a drive for those planning. we moved, so live near by that's the only reason we tried it in hopes of our to go spot. Guess we will keep searching.

Decided to stop here for lunch before our movie, and it turned out to be an excellent idea. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The queso was recommended and did not disappoint and was served with fresh tortilla chips. I had the #2 Asada chico (small) and the portion was very generous. Also ordered Texas King in bowl which was also very generous. Both were well seasoned. Highly recommend

This place is clean and lots of light ill give them that. Very clean restaurant. The Burrito that has it all, well steak and shrimp, rice, beans, sour cream and lettuce is the number #8 I believe. Starting off the aguas frescas was not so good asked what was the best they said all 3 are but tried the Jamica and no it was a 1out 5 should have gone with a regular soft drink. They have 3 sauces to try from and well the green is a 4 out 5 the red hot one is 4 out 5 and the chipotle one yeah 1 out 5 it has way to much vinegar. The Burrito is big i don't think it's 14 dollars big maybe a good 12 or 11.50. The steak was kinda to salty and I didn't add salt or anything, the shrimp was good cooked great, rice a good 3 out 5 beans 3/5. Love that it's pressed or something so it's crispy burrito. It was okay but what helped the burrito was adding the sauce both the red hot one and the green one, I try to give the chipotle one another try but it still had a strong vinegar taste. Burrito a 2.5 out of 5. Give it a try maybe it's my taste buds but the service was great nice people.

The atmosphere wasn't what I expected there was no music, no talking just silence. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. The portion sizes are CRAZY BIG! I just wish they would add a kids size with a kid price. The salsas were PHENOMENAL La Diablo is the BEST! I got the Asada burrito it was very filling but not flavorful. I was waiting on the wow factor and it never came. I'll have to go again one day and try something different.
