CRAZY PIZZA at SQUARE

"‘A diner you’ll want to visit every day’ is the concept here. Atop Chef Shibata’s  pizza crusts, a culinary exchange goes on every day between the gastronomies of Japan and Italy. The Mayo Corn is an old Japanese standby—a corn and mayonnaise pizza , typical Japanese. Cinque Formaggio uses generous amounts of five different Italian cheeses, while another speciality is an original pizza smothered in toppings stewed the way Shibata learned in Italy. Mix and match for a medley of delightful tastes." - Michelin Inspector

Very cool atmosphere. This restaurant was on my list to visit for a pizza and dessert. It was everything I expected and more. The dessert was on point for sure.

I just thought the restaurant looked nice to go in for dinner, and I appreciated that we were still seated without a reservation. But instead of explaining to us at the beginning that a guest must ORDER 1 drink, we were brought the drink menu after we finished our order. Throughout the service there was a feeling of being rushed to finish the meal and there was a push to place more orders. I think the restaurant should accept that there will be guests like myself who just want to have a normal dinner in a place where the ambience is okay, and I can understand that we weren't placed in a great spot, but between the price of the meal and the service it really wasn't proportional. The food at this restaurant is very ok, only if there was better service would it be able to justify the pricing of the menu. All in all at the same time not recommended for people who just want to come over for a regular meal and I won't be patronizing this restaurant in the future because of the service

This restaurant got Bib Gourmand award on Michellan. You can find its cool building appearance from intersection. Because this building was architected by Taichi Kuma (he is a son of Kengo Kuma, world class famous architect). I went 6:00 PM on Thursday with reservation. There was no other customers till 7:00 PM. I ordered 3 dishes, half size appetizer, new style pizza and half and half pizza with wines. Everything was salty and somewhat expensive (That's not Bib Gourmand average). My seat was the counter located near the backyard. That was why I couldn’t feel comfortable and stay relax. Because employees kept getting in and out to staff room with annoying noises. The wall seemed somewhat damaged also made me uncomfortable. The counter designed a little high and the chair was not cozy. Finally I got a bill with unclear details. It might be included 5% of service charge. If you love too salty foods, uncomfortable foodies with expensive price, I recommend this restaurant.

Looks cool from the outside, but strangely very expensive inside for a mediocre pizza. Prices are weirdly high for anything other than a basic pizza, and you have to order an entire pizza per person.

Tasty but pricy. A glass of wine served was actually a quarter glass of wine.
